MY HOME THEATER simple but Proud!
My home theater is simple but proud in its making! Consisting of, Parasound Halo A51 amplifier, Parasound Halo C1 controller, Denon DVD-3930ci, Play Station 3 for play, Klipsch RC-64 center, Klipsch RF-83 mains, Klipsch RS-62 rear and for the heart thumping bass a Velodyne DD-18, veiwed on a 42″ Sharp Aquos.
Damn! That Sub-Woofer is HEEEUUUGGGE! I’m not usually jealous of other people’s stuff but man, I want one of those!

ohh!! no no don’t worry about it …. sorry If it came across as a jerk or something I just thought you’d like to know : ) I have 2 DD18 and 2 DD15 and let me tell these are some serious subs….. I have been playing with them for some time now… and recently I felt in love with them all over again with the Star Trek Blu Ray specially when the Enterprise goes into warp speed WOWW this scene is a amazing if you wanna feel bass : )
Why yes it is indeed, My bad!!! I am familiar with that sub and it is absolutely the top-of-the-line.
Produces low freqs well below the level of human hearing but I bet you can sure FEEL them tho!.

my friend that is no Polk sub that’s a Velodyne DD18 it’s a 5k subwoofer and it’s consider one of the best subwoofers in the world.
Hmm, I might think about buying Gladiator on Bluray B2 region even thou its minus the dts-ES I guess the mix is still the same for Dolby-EX manual.
WOW!!! HFS!!!, that system RULES-OUT-LOUD!!!! I think Klipsch is the best too, altho I would probably buy a different and more powerfull sub than Klipsch offers. Is that a Polk 4000 sub you have there? Thanks for the inspiration.

hello I think I wrote you a message on lansing heritage forums regarding your videos inside the empire theater. I know you said there are better videos of the the theater here in youtube but more than anything I wanted to see and get a sense of what it is like to watch movies inside …anyway your lucky to get to see movies on such a palace cheers
I might give Gladiator a re-play later in the day on the LCD video projector to get some Empire large screen flashbacks! LOL the ending is grippingly tense. Oh, I can hear some of those body punches at 4:14 the camera is over exposing the contrast as you no doubt can see. My digital camera as the same issue. The webcam isnt too bad on the LCD video projector.
At least this isnt the rubbish bluray version of Gladiator. This one has Dolby EX dts-ES! Saw Gladiator at the Empire Leicester Square London too bad they had Martin Audio screen speakers/surrounds at the time, not the same without JBL! Today Empire has reinstalled JBL over its original 13KW THX with wicked 56KW JBL THX sound system!
Klipsch looks like fine speaker system for the home.
Do you think u can use a bigger tv to go with all that monster sound?
Onkyo is a good match with Klipsch in my Opinion. You get better sound quality with Yamaha, but hell, Onkyo is fun together with Klipsch!! =) ^^
