The mounting depth is 2 to 30in. The stationary capacity is 995 lbs. 100xM6 cage nuts and screws. 10ft hook and loop tape is inc. . There are grounding lugs. An intelligent fan system is designed for cooling equipment. Protects rack-mount equipment from overheating. The thermostat controller has a backup memory. Premium anodized aluminum construction has a professional appearance. The 1U rack space has a design of Rear Exhaust and Airflow of 40 to 180 CFM.
👤I have purchased all of the AC Infinity products that I have seen. I decided to get the T5 rack mount fan instead of the T10 because of its appearance, and have two drawers. The fan is easy to set up, runs quiet, and has a nice brushed finish. The finish matches my receiver. It's recommended to keep your electronics cool.
👤This unit is very high quality for the price. I was impressed with the quality of the component. I installed in my new rack and it seems to be doing a great job. I would definitely order it again or other future items from AC. I don't write reviews on Amazon, but I knew I had to for this company.
👤The job was poor with quality control. The screws holding the unit together along the front edge were not large enough to fit into a 1U without removing two of the screws. I scratched my amplifier when I tried to put it in my rack.
👤The fans are great and the temp is good. My third unit from this company is the control speed settings. The larger fans are louder than the smaller ones, but overall happy.
👤It was put in my network rack to direct heat away from components. I'm very happy with the quality and piece of mind. I plan to install two more fans in my build.
👤This product was easy to use and install. The fan works well with my 1U rack space. It's worth the investment if you want to protect the rest of your equipment from overheating. They will last longer if they are kept at low temperatures. I use the temperature control on these to automate my setup. If you can spare a few bucks, I would recommend installing it.
👤A small fan for my entertainment center. The 19-inch rack is what I needed to complete my set. The fan can be kept running and turned off at will, thanks to the automated speed control. I think the 6 ft power cord is enough to reach the surge protectors, but everyone's situation is different. The performance of the fan is very quiet and once my media center was closed, I couldn't hear anything.
👤The product looks professional and you can add it to your components. I added acoustic foam in the front end to make it quieter. The thing is easy to work with and no doubt voids the warranty. The programming screen is even easier to use than the Aircom series and it is made of a heavier metal. If you don't know, you can set your maximum fan speed lower than 6 and it is just as effective. If you look at the picture, you will see that the unit I bought is rear exhaust. Since hot air rises, it will enter the 3 Fan holes and out the back of the open cabinet, so almost all the warm air is exhausted. When the fan comes on, it is only to the lowest speed. The power amplifier is good at running around 90 degrees F and stays there without the fans coming on. It is more money, but you get what you pay for. This is a very good product. The gauge of the metal could go up one grade and the faceplate could be thicker like the other products in this case, although they have done a nice job on the finish of the front and it matches the very expensive components in this stand. I recommend this product without reservations and would be willing to pay for a thicker faceplate if it were improved in quality. Great price for a nice job.
Measure the amount of muffin capacity. The 4-post steel rack enclosure has both leveling feet and caster feet already installed, making it easy to move around your office, studio, or server room. The server rack cabinet has an internal depth of 33" and a height of 35.6". Two keys are used for locking doors/sides. Rolling/Mobile data. The equipment can be mounted on a 1U shelf with hook and loop tape and 75 M6 Cage nuts/screws. Design and gentrification. The mesh doors and side panels have a vent. 1U height intervals are marked for identification. It is compliant for server/networking equipment and supports brands like HPE ProLiant and Dell. The mounting depth is 2 to 30in. The stationary capacity is 995 lbs. 100xM6 cage nuts and screws. 10ft hook and loop tape is inc. . There are grounding lugs.
👤The driver helped me move the rack on to my deck after it arrived by freight. I could remove it from the pallet. I was able to put my full 48u rack in the 18u rack which made it much cleaner and I can move it around the room if I need to. I put in some fans and a controller to get some hot air out. This cabinet is very good. It won't fit my Dell R610 with the rear door attached since the server is 31 and a half inches deep. I didn't measure everything I had.
👤The shipping material arrived in perfect shape after being inspected, after being received two of these, Shipping by Amazon was fast. I found a huge hole in the back of the first one. It looks like Startech put a forklift through this unit. There was no hole in the shipping cardboard. The second unit seems to be fine. I don't have the time or energy to return it, so we will have our mechanics fix it. If you notice, pull the cardboard off and inspect before the sholders leave.
👤Other reviewers experienced a forklift hole through my cabinet. The packaging and cardboard enclosing the cabinet were in perfect condition, as the other reviewers have stated.
👤The rack is very good. What was looking for was exactly what it was. The unit was bolted to the pallet and shipping was perfect. There was no damage.
👤A customer wanted a locking cabinet on wheels. The Startech did what we needed, with ease of install and a great price point.
👤It was just as advertised, sturdy and high quality. Completely assembled, it was installing components in minutes.
👤I purchased a deep rack with mesh all around. I have a rack in a 70 sq ft closet with an air conditioner, but I wouldn't consider a glass door because of the issue of heat and air flow. I have a SAN, a 1U rack server, and 3 UPS's in this rack. Eventually it will have 5 UPS's, 3 1U server and a few slots left. The 31" depth was one concern that turned out to be valid. I can't use the cable management attachment system as it adds several more inches to my server. I would have to remove the rear door to use the cable management system. This could be a security issue for some. It's important to pay attention to the fit of your gear. There is a The rack was bolted to a wood palette and had heavy duty cardboard and reinforced corner protection. It was in good shape. The fit and finish of the rack are topnotch. It's very easy to work with smooth edges and a nice black finish. The hinges, locks, and wheel are of the highest quality. You can reverse the doors so you can open from either side, it's very versatile. There are side panels with mesh. I would have preferred a deeper rack. I was looking at the StarTech unit, but it had glass doors, so that was a problem. There is a I couldn't find anything similar to this size rack. It's a good value for what you get.
6U 2 POST SECURERACK The network cabinet enclosure is locked to prevent unauthorized access and is designed to protect critical network equipment from damage. It's durable. The SPCC cold rolled steel data/network equipment cabinet can hold up to 200 lbs and can support a depth of 14.2in. 6U Enclosed cabinet, 2 post, EIA/ECA-310-E compliant There is a mounting depth in this picture. 200 lbs capacity, lockable door and sides, 1U vented shelf, and 5 year warranty. It was designed for cooling. Up to four 120mm fans can be installed if additional cooling is needed, and the door and sides are strong enough to improve air flow around devices. The rack is ready to be installed. Includes cage nuts and screws, 4 security keys, and 3m of Hook-and-Loop tape to keep cables organized. The rack is ready to be installed. Includes cage nuts and screws, 4 security keys, and 3m of Hook-and-Loop tape to keep cables organized.
👤The design is not the best. It is a good price.
👤Swings out from the wall.
👤I'm a sturdy server/ equipment rack. A great value was the cable management, cage nuts, bols, washers, and shelf.
👤It is a quality product and comes with a shelf. This design makes it possible to move it around a bit. I use it for a power distribution box, but I was somewhat disappointed when it arrived with caster mountings.
👤The cabinet has two things in it. My criteria were the same for both security and air quality. The cabinet has a steel mesh door. I didn't feel like glass was secure to me. The mesh in the door has holes in it's top and bottom to allow plenty of air to pass through.
The cabinet case has Locking Wheels for the computer server, home theater rackmount gear, and audiovisual equipment. It is compatible with American and European rackmount standards. There are two packs of 5mm and 6mm screws. The front and back design is open. Vented- Side Panels are used for protection. Side panels can be left off. There are no weight bearing panels. There are front and rear rack rails. The coat is textured and black. Equipment can be held up to 18 inches deep. Caster Wheels for Multi-Surface are Sturdy. 2 wheels with locks. A blank panel is included. The dimensions are 18” x 20” x27.5” with wheels. The shipping weight was 39.7lb. The weight capacity is over 400 lbs. Load capacity can be increased by removing wheels. It's easy to assembly. This equipment rack is ideal for storing and organizing equipment. It's compatible with all of the AxcessAbles drawers, trays and rack accessories.
👤I thought it was just stamped metal that bolts together. It works well. It is the right size with all the threaded holes. There are rolling wheels that lock. I put a picture of it in my house. Extra space is always nice as we always upgrade things. Would recommend this cabinet to everyone. It is the cheapest cabinet I could find, and it works perfectly. I can't think of anything to make it better.
👤The rack is nice. It's not a good rack. The rails are punched and tapped. The metal is thin so I stripped out two holes easily. It looks great, but it's not very sturdy. This is a sub-$100 rack and not a $100 rack. I would not buy it again. I will keep it and make it work because it fits where I need it. I was disappointed that I had to move the rack down a hole in order to install a 4U server case after doing some research. The gap at the top is too small for a 1U cover. Its going to work. Over time, I hope to get my money worth. I give it a 5-star rating but wish the metal was a little thicker. I would have preferred the 10-32 screws. What can you say about China?
👤It went well. I read reviews about how to remove screws. Ignore them. These are plastic rack screws and they hold the whole thing together. Don't tighten the screws and then remove them at once. Put the screws in tight after you insert the new piece. Use a good screw driver and tighten them a couple of turns. Look at the arrow stickers that show which side is USA and which side is euro for all the corners. I have both sides set up with USA rack sizes.
👤Left seller feedback. Be careful with this product. The threads aren't manufactured right. They do not allow you to tighten the sides. There are holes in the side rails to mount your gear. 2 of them are standard size for audio gear. The hole is larger. Without threading, the standard 19" rack screws will slip right into them. They put all the screws in the holes and then have 2 more bags in the box. The instruction sheet is really bad. The rack is nice for the size, but lacks a purpose of holding your gear secure. I have a better one, the one that costs a bit more. This is a cheaper brand knock off. I don't recommend this product, but I might have received a bad unit and others are good. Purchase at your own risk.
👤I wanted a server rack for a long time, but instead of buying one I wanted to see if I could find a rack that musicians use. I found a rack. It was easy to put together. The ability to lock the wheels in place is great. I'm very happy with my purchase and I'm looking forward to adding more hardware.
3U rack space, design, exhaust, airflow, noise, and bearings are included. Apple security and vending The mesh doors and side panels are locked and have independent quick-release locks. Easy installation of equipment. This full-size enclosure is assembled. You can change the rail depth with mounting rails. Standard equipment can be adjusted. The 42U rack enclosure has security for storing standard 19" EIA-310 compliant rack-mount equipment and supports a total load capacity of 2000 lbs. Measure the amount of muffin capacity. The 4-post steel rack enclosure has both leveling feet and caster feet already installed, making it easy to move around your office, studio, or server room.
👤I don't consider the wheels in the review because I am using this rack without them. It was in a flat box. It was easy to assemble. It's as simple as not installing the wheels and using it without them, though there are still plates on the bottom panel that add a little to the thickness of the panel where the wheels would mount. This is a permanent installation for a power backup and distribution system. It's convenient to move that stuff to a rack mount model because it's large enough to hold everything. I would have liked it to waste less space on top and bottom than it did, with less space on the upper 1U and less space on the lower 1U. The top 1U is not possible where I have it. It would fit well enough to give me the extra space I need for expansion. I think they could have done this, but it might have been a bit more complicated for the top and bottom pieces. Amazon only allows full stars, so I would like to take half a star. The dimensions seem to be in line with what was expected. It is not as heavy when assembled as expected. The handles are fully loaded, which makes them more of a convenient way to pull it around than a safe way to pick it up. Two handles isn't going to be enough to pick up my setup without at least four people. It's not a big deal since my setup is not meant to be moved. The handles don't stick out and get in the way of other things, with the handles not being raised. I would consider this about 9 of 10.
👤This thing is large and heavy. I'm sure that it will hold the 200+ pounds it's rated for, because it is thick heavy duty steel. I have a 1u server and a 2u storage array. I'm confident that the rack will take the extra weight, and I'm pretty sure that the upgrade to the UPS will include an extra battery. The wheels are sturdy. They are not just pure plastic. When moving the rack around, it's pretty quiet, even when loaded with equipment, as the wheels had a bit of a squeak after assembly. I'm very happy. It has a lot of hardware for mounting equipment. If the need is there, I would buy again.
👤The rack took 45 minutes to put together and included adding acoustic foam to my living room. I was cautious because the 10 Gb switch could get loud and the foam wasn't essential. The unit is self-contained and looks better than the table I had it on before. It can become very dense and tight to work depending on how you setup the rack. If you are like me, you will feel your age when you finish.
👤The cabinet was locked into position after being wheeled and wheeled. It looks smart with other office furniture. Both doors have locks and are excellent for front and rear access. The fans breathing into the room can only be heard from outside the cabinet. I sat a laserjet printer on the top of the cabinet. The cable and wire enter through the bottom at the rear. It is easy to install shelving.
HEIGHT COMBINATION: Stereo cabinet shelves have a variety of height combinations according to your component height needs, thanks to the shelf segments that are interchangeable. The stand can fit into corners. 3 in 1 or Use Alone: The wire basket is a multi-tiered design that can be used alone or stacked. You can put it in a cabinet or a table. You can put one basket on the shelf and the other on the wall. You can do it using methods. Every piece of metal wire basket can be wall mounted. The wall is easy to hang on with pre-drilled holes. You can place it on a flat surface like a work counter. This wall-mounted basket is made with a sturdy wire metal frame and features a rectangular shape with a low front and high back to keep your items neatly tucked away. The built handles make it easy to carry the basket down the shelf and into the cabinet. The 3 tier design allows for plenty of room to hold files, magazines, condiments, and anything else that needs organizing in their place until you're done. If you don't use it, just fold it down and use it for sleek storage on a shelf or desk. Each set of metal wire baskets has 3 baskets. One of the sizes is 15.7" W x 7.4" L x 6. To clean, use a damp cloth and towel.
👤This thing is terrible. It doesn't stay together. When you put something on the sections, they start to collapse on themselves. The piece that was supposed to stay in place was bent so it shoots back out.
👤I like the fact that I can arrange them in a variety of ways. The locking mechanism works well even though it can be better. The description of the product is not accurate as it says there were 4 baskets instead of 3.
👤I decided to try these because I was sick of having a bunch of snacks sitting on the counter. We used our own stronger drywall anchors. I still like them. Might purchase another set.
👤This seems to be strong. I didn't open this item until after the return window had closed. When I opened it, I discovered that one of the racks has a section that is bent or not welded correctly, which makes it difficult to assemble it. That one is not usable. I will use the other 2 racks, but I am disappointed in the quality of the item. I learned a lesson about when to check orders.
👤Excellent quality and easy to assemble.
👤The other items from this line were expensive but they are sturdy and fold up when not in use.
👤He keeps his husband's supplements organized. I love it!
There is a pierced glass entertainment stand. A multi-purpose 5-tier glass cabinet can be used as audio video tower, media stand, stereo cabinet and gaming console stand. It's ideal to store cable boxes, DVD players, streaming devices, home theater receivers, gaming consoles, hifi stereo equipment, speakers and other components. Strong and courteous audio stand. The top shelf has a capacity of 88 lbs and the rest has 33 lbs. Glass shelves and columns are scratch resistant and easy to coordinate with. Audio tower has an open architecture that keeps components cool. AudioRACK DIMENSIONS: There is plenty of space for all your audio and video components on each shelf. There is a gap between the bottom shelves and the top rack for larger stereo or home theater equipment. It is easy to exaggerate. The entertainment center has step-by-step instructions for easy assembly. Adding safety to your family is accomplished by the use of Beveled edges and tempered glass. High quality products will last a lifetime because of their rigid quality control standards. HEIGHT COMBINATION: Stereo cabinet shelves have a variety of height combinations according to your component height needs, thanks to the shelf segments that are interchangeable. The stand can fit into corners. 👤The shelves are pretty thin. Four metal rods are screwed into the top shelf. The legs are very thin and lightweight. The tube holders are made of plastic discs with a chrome finish and a hole in the center for the rod. But... It was well packed and delivered intact. 25 min start to finish and it assembled well. The glass is the heaviest part. I didn't care for the feet. I was hoping for more robust feet so that I could place spiked feet to separate the equipment. I might do a mod in the future to allow me to do that. It looks nice and is much more expensive than it was. You get what you pay for and at 125 bucks for two, that's not bad. Not bad at all! The wife is happy.
👤It was very easy to put together. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but for the price, maybe not 4 long skinny bars running in the center of a cheap metal song. It feels more sturdy once it's put together. I thought it would feel better during assembly. I would have returned it and not put expensive stereo equipment on it. The glass is nice. As anyone with these types of things in their homes knows, they need to be wiped down and dusted frequently. Dust and fingerprints. That comes with the territory. If ypu needs shelving for stereo equipment or small eggs, this is the one for you. I suggest spending a bit more money and getting something that is a little bit stronger.
👤5 tier audio shelf. It is easy to assemble. There were no broken shelves. Before you start construction, decide where you want the biggest shelf. The plastic pieces look cheap, but they are half the price of other Chinese made glass tier systems. This lives on a dirt floor. You will need to move the stand eventually. The metal caps on the ends of the feet will destroy the hardwood floors. Purchase 4 floor protectors.
👤The item had two plastic nut retainers. These items are a poor design and are used at the end of the assembly. The plastic nut retainers are supposed to hold everything together. I think they will fail in the future because of the constant tension on them and the fact that it is a safety hazard.
👤There was a bad threaded screw on the final leg. The nut wouldn't tighten. I will contact the seller to see if they will send me a replacement rod that has good threads. I can send the whole thing back, but I have to take it apart. If you get a set that doesn't have a defect, you are fine, but I didn't.
👤I got this for a stereo rack because the cabinets were expensive. It makes my components look like chrome and black glass. You can see every speck of dust, but it takes a quick wipe with a lint free cloth.
👤This was the exact size of the stereo rack I needed. You can adjust the shelf's heights. Cool look, but no need to touch glass shelves beyond assembly. One of the disks was cracked and had an extra round disk. Well packed, and arrived with no damage. It sets off the stereo system with a modern look.
Can be powered by an Outlet or ausb wall adapter. A fan system that requires minimal noise is designed for cooling cabinets. The programming adjusts cooling power when temperatures change. There is a display with an alarm system, display lock, six fan speeds, two buffer options, and memory. A brushed black finish is on the aluminum frames of the fan and controller. The dimensions are: 17 x 6.1 x 1.3 in. Airflow: 156 CFM, noise: 21 dBA, and Bearings: dual ball.
👤A 7ft audio-video equipment rack holding amplifier and networking equipment was purchased to exhaust heat building up in a 5ft x 5ft x 10ft closet. The 3-fan system is 19" wide. We built a housing for it and mounted it in the center of the closet door, because it wouldn't fit between the wall studs. We used a cold air return vent in the room. The 156 cfm specification is a perfect match for the room's size, as the closet is around 200 square feet. We're able to keep a safe temperature while being cost-effective and quiet by using the hot air in the adjacent room.
👤I have been using these fans and controllers for about 5 months, and they have performed well. I'm happy with the setup. I bought these to help cool my computer, which is located in a desk with a built in computer cabinet. The desk design doesn't allow for air flow to the computer, and this setup was used in combination with a couple of other computer and desk modifications. The packaging made my first impression of the product. The box for the fans and controller was shipped within another box with padding so that it wouldn't disrupt the transport of the products. After opening the package, the products are neatly organized and include additional packing material that is securely placed so they can not shift with handling. The brushed metal finish is amazing. The installation was easy, the fan assembly and digital control unit have plastic templates included, which make it easier to drill and cut. There are wood screws and bolt and nut fasteners to use, depending on the method of installation. The wiring for my installation was long, but it allowed for different mounting configurations. I only needed command hooks to hold the wiring in place to clean up the interior appearance. In the "Smart" mode, I leave my unit on 24/7. The backlight can be set to turn off after a few seconds, or it can be on all the time. The fans are quiet and can run full speed, they aren't noticeable. This is a set that can be used to make a product.
👤The product is of good quality. The specifications are overstated. Each fan moves 52 CFM per second when a three fan unit moves 156 CFM. The fan would move a 10 foot column of air every second at a cross section of 2 inch. The movement is less than a foot per second. The fans are overpriced. It is shocking that no one is catching this false advertisement and that Amazon allows the manufacturer to sell the product.
👤After searching the internet for a solution to make my own fan array for my office networking gear, I hid it in a nice little cabinet which was getting way too hot. I found this T9 setup and I was happy. It is a nicely built product that is not cheap. It was easy to install and the guides for cutting out were spot on. There are no problems with the power and wiring. The sticker mount for the temperature probe is useful, but I am still deciding on where to trunk all the wiring. It works very well on auto/smart and at the one bar speed level it is whisper quiet and you can't notice it. I mounted two T9's as I plan to put a UPS in the other side, but just waiting for the sound proof. When I turned the power off and back on, it kept temperature settings and mode. Only one quality disappointment. (). The T9 fan array comes with four wood screws, but in my T9 boxes for the fan controller unit they were missing. The nuts and bolts were fine, but the inside of the cabinet looks a little ugly. It is a great product that does its job.
The dimensions are 5.8 x 2.0 x 4.7 in. A dual fan system that requires minimal noise is designed for cooling cabinets. An on-board processor provides a digital read-out of the cabinet's temperatures. The programming includes thermostat control, fan speed control, and energy saving mode. Two fan units with controller, containing aluminum frames with a brushed black finish. Each unit has a dimensions of 6.3 x 6.3 x 1.3 in.
👤The hardest part was cutting the holes. The templates for cutting are perfect. I tried every tool in the garage until I found the easiest, a rotoZIP. The fad tool from the 90's had to be used 5 times. It's more than payed for itself every time I use it. I remembered the tool after a long time. It was easy to cut the holes after that. The holes for the actual fans were cut slightly larger than the template to prevent noise. I traced the line on the template. It is easy to wire. I bought a fan system. The fans are one way and you have to disassemble one of them. I checked the air flow before I did that because it was already set up as an intake and exhaust. It works like a champ now that it's in.
👤The fans help keep the cabinet cool. I have a second set of cabinets in the works. The fan may cycle around your set temp too frequently in "Smart" mode. The fans kick on and off when the temp is between 78 and 80F, because they aren't silent and I set my controller to 80F. When the fans are on, the temp is usually high enough to keep them running, but when they're not, there's just enough heat to make the fans cycle constantly. If you're not watching TV in the living room, this is annoying. The solution is to stick with it. The fans come on at 80F and then turn off at 76F or 78F depending on how you set the interval, so they don't cycle as frequently. This is the best setting to use if you're sensitive to the noise of the fans.
👤My attempts at installation were not very good, I marred the surface around the control plate until I thought to tape off and the surrounding area to avoid such nicks. I don't think that's a problem with the product, just the installation, it's just the noise that the lowest speed fan makes, if it clicks on during a movie, it's something that can bother you if you're into the movie. Was hoping for better. The display is too bright on its dimmer setting to stay on full-time, so it mostly stays off unless I change it. I would have liked to see a dimme that was suitable for a home theatre setup. Minor complaints aside, I'm keeping the temps down where I want them, and can put big heat-producers in cabinets that made me nervous previously, so it does its job well.
👤I put this setup inside my desk cabinet so I could keep my two Synology NAS drives cool. The kit is very clean and well made. The DOA fan was replaced via Amazon without a problem. I'm really impressed with the 15 degree reduction in the cabinet's temperature. The slatted front of my cabinet allows for air to flow in. You can change the direction of the fan by flipping it around and reinstalling it. The only complaint I have about this product is that they should include an interior plate that mounts on the inside of the cabinet so that it looks just as clean as the outside.
The fan has a connection port that can be used to connect up to four fans. The switch of the first fan is the main switch, so please adjust all other fan speed regulators to the H position or other positions. An intelligent fan system is designed for cooling equipment. Protects rack-mount equipment from overheating. The thermostat controller has a backup memory. Premium anodized aluminum construction has a professional appearance. Size: 2U rack space, design, exhaust, airflow, noise, and bearings are dual ball.
👤I received my unit today. Installation and unboxing was easy. The fit and finish of the unit are nice. Fans run quietly, and move enough air to bring the temperature down to 15 degrees F in about 5 minutes. Air flow is back to front. That's not the issue. This is not stated in these terms anywhere. The statement that the fans exhaust hot air is the closest allusion to this configuration. Considering the location of the fans, one must consider what that means. A reverse mode would be nice, but high-flow low-noise fans like this are almost universally designed with directional blades. It isn't surprising that no feature is included. I'll have to disassemble the entire unit and re-mount the fans in order to have enough air for my application. All of the components in my system have front-to-back air flow, and the rack enclosure has an exhaust fan on the back side. It would be counter-productive to have this unit move air in the other direction. Again, the T7 is great, just make sure back to front is what you want, or be prepared to make some modifications.
👤The AC Infinity was replaced with the ProCool SP480XT-E. ProCool is barely audible in full speed and moves slightly less air than in CFM. It is in a rack, so that doesn't really matter. The noise in my home office is what matters. I donated the AC. It seems like a quality piece of equipment. This is the loudest fan noise I have in my rack. The sound is only annoying when there are other sounds going on. In a quiet room, it's not a big deal. The noise from the fan is very annoying. Replacing the noisy fans with Noctua is very difficult because of the proprietary setup of AC Infinity. Replacing the fans will void the warranty, but it's either that or chuck it out. Before surgery on the device, I'm looking for a replacement.
👤I chose this one because I didn't want the temp sensor to be on all the time or have to remember to turn it on, the space for my receiver is small, and the fan kept the unit at 80 degrees without a problem. After looking at the noise problem with this one, I decided to use the other one.
👤It was easy to install. I have a rack in an open and light controlled space so I appreciate the fact that the front screen only lights up when I touch the controls. I use the "AUTO" and "SMART" modes when I'm active. I use the SMART setting to help reduce fan noise when using my A/V gear and gaming consoles. If my sound system is turned on for movie watching, I use the AUTO setting, fans only turn on at a set temperature threshold, but can be quite loud. The controls have a little back light. I use a light built into the rack to see buttons that are not backlit. The thing works well at removing warm air from behind my equipment rack. I was in the 80's before. I can keep the temp at 72 degrees. I'm not a fan of the price but it's a lot cheaper than having my gear overheated.
It was deliberately designed. The cup carriers are designed to fit the soda can or water bottle. If there is no liquids involved, you can use the cup holders as a larger tray for your food. The media console is ideal for storage around the TV. It's made to hold stereo equipment, center speakers, gaming consoles, DVD players and streaming devices. You can store your audio equipment in a heavy duty audio tower with 88 lbs of carrying capacity. The air is cool. It was designed with gaps for air flow. This minimalist design will ensure that your devices receive a cooling circulation of air that will keep them from overheating. The dimensions of the fridge are 24in (wide) x 15.5in (deep) x 27.75in (tall). The shelves are separated by 8 in of space for larger components and increased air flow. The cable management system is in the back panel. It will keep your cables neat. The wood shelves are built from a black lacquer.
👤The treaded rods screw into the top and bottom. The top has a treaded opening that doesn't have a solid stopper, so you have to screw it down until you find out that the rod is too short to fit into the bottom leg caps. The instructions don't mention the need to only tighten lightly as to not damage the top, like I did, and leave enough threaded Rod for the bottom plastic feet. If they stopped the rod from going through the wood top, it would be a decent unit. While the building is being finished, be careful with TIGHTEN. Disappointed!
👤The design of the shelf is based on a wire frame. The front of the store has metal poles that are securely holding the shelves, but they are made of plastic tubes with a wire frame. The only thing that is strong is the shelf that sits on top of the plastic tube for each row and the two screws on the backplane/wire management panel. Had I known, I wouldn't have bought this. One of the wires had a stripped screw head and wouldn't fit all the way into the base. The entire cabinet was made flimsy because the screw head was not securely embedded in the wood. I paid a lot of money for this product, but I think it's not worth it.
👤The media stand/shelf is very nice and neat, and it's for the price. It holds up a lot of expensive electronics, like a mixer and an Amp, and is very sturdy. The hole behind each shelf should be placed a bit lower, instead of being at the center. A nice media shelf at a reasonable price.
👤I was very happy to order this cabinet. I match well with the equipment in our house. The cabinet is sturdy enough to hold my equipment, which is pretty heavy. The shelves are very open which will keep my components cooler. I had it done in 15 minutes and there were no problems. If someone found this hard to assemble, they should consider hiring someone from now one because I haven't found anything easier to assemble than this cabinet. Since it only has a narrow strip as a back panel, there is no place to hire the wiring so it is visible from the front. If it bothered me enough, I could paint a piece of particle board black and put it back there, but I don't think I'll do it. I was very happy with the purchase.
👤It holds my audio equipment, but not my 200 cd player. I had to put that on top of my turntable. I had to add a piece of plywood below the two to make it level. There are pieces in the back of the stand that limit how far back the wood can go so it sticks in the front. If you don't care about looks, it still does a good job.
👤Sturdy and awesome. I thought it was slightly taller but would have ordered anyway. I'm not putting a TV on this one, just gaming systems next to my TV stand that doesn't have enough room. There are holes in the back of the levels. I'm going to put anchors on the back of my cable box, and there's enough room around the holes to hide cables if you're going to do this.
