Brand: Lg

👤I bought this to go with a new TV since the TV gets great reviews and the dimensions worked better for me than some of the other sound bars that get the best reviews. I'll keep it since it's too much of a hassle to try to return now that it's here. The sound bar has a very realistic surround sound that is very similar to what you would hear on a TV show. The setup of the soundbar was much harder than it should be. After a lot of work, some research, and a lucky guess, I figured it out. The two things that were critical to setting it up were. After changing my password to 12 characters, I was able to connect to the internet with my original 23 character password. And 2. I found a page on the internet where people said that the best way to set up the sound bar was to use the Home app, even though the Apple built-in setup feature failed. The sound bar was connected to the internet using my new password, but the app for the phone didn't add a lot of value. While I was having trouble setting it up, I thought I would just use it without connecting it to my network, but I noticed that the sound quality was worse when I used it that way, and the subwoofer didn't seem to work. I don't know if it was the internet or something else, but by the time I figured out how to set it up, the sound quality was much better, and the issue with the subs had been solved. If you're having sound issues and haven't set up the internet yet, that could be part of it. It seems to work well once I have everything set up, it's smart to automatically switch between input sources, and the sound quality seems great to me. There is a I can't recommend this sound bar to anyone if they don't have an overwhelming reason to buy it.

👤The rear speakers of the LG SPK8-S are hoping for a smooth integration with the C1 OLED. The sound from the soundbar was better than the TV speakers, but it wasn't much better to justify the price. The output of the subs and rear speakers was barely noticeable for movie content with surround. The rears were mostly silent or not outputting enough sound to be noticeable unless next to them, and I had to put my ear next to them to check. The music did not sound better. I got the Arc, sub, and rear speakers. It is a night and day difference. The sub has a clear, powerful sound, and the rears integrate to produce a surround sound experience. The app is better and it was easy to pair it. I think the Arc sounds better without the sub. If you can, get the sub and rears. They are worth the extra expense.

👤The first impression could have been better. The first place I went to connect was the ThinQ app, which is where I own the CX. I didn't think about the stand alone app for the soundbar. I was wrong about that. I downloaded the speaker app after reading the directions. I did. When you open it, you'll get a message that says they're phasing out this app and that you need to download the sound bar app. I updated it and everything worked after that. Not a big deal. It seems odd that they wouldn't integrate this into ThinQ like they do with Smart Things. I'm using this with a 65" screen. The sound bar is tall enough to cover a small part of the screen. It's not noticeable in normal viewing, but it's another example of how two products don't work together as well as they should. I have experience with the fit and features of a Q-series TV and soundbar, and I think I know what I'm going to get. This experience was not so much with the company. Sound is good. If you're sitting in the right spot, the 5.1 surround without actual surround speakers thing was a little more convincing than I was expecting. Don't expect to have your mind blown. I already ordered the rear speaker kit. The center channel, where most dialogue is placed, sounds a little strong in the mids. Particularly during atmos content. It sounds like the speaker is in a small room rather than in a big room. It's subtle and not always present, but it is a distraction when it is. I need to adjust to my previous system. The biggest gripe is that the 2.1 ins and outs don't pass 4k 120hz and VRR. If they don't pass the features, why state it in the specifications? For most people, this won't matter, as you can still pass 4k 60hz. I wanted to connect an Xbox Series X directly to the soundbar so I could get rid of the sound delay issues I've had with the Xbox, and the other thing is that the CX doesn't play or pass through anything DTX. I can get 5.1/7.1 with the xbox connected directly to the tv through eARC. Which is better than the device I was using. I think this is not supporting competing soundbars because they don't have proper surround sound pass through.

2. Legrand Management Structured Wall ENP0905 NA V1

Legrand Management Structured Wall ENP0905 NA V1

Depending on the depth of the gang box, banana plugs can be accommodated on both sides of the plate at the same time. Storage and distribution of structured wiring and audio visual components is what this is designed for. Can be placed behind most TV wall-mounts. 3rd party structured wiring components and compatible with devices like Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, network switches, and more. The mounting plate has a 1.5in elevation to accommodate larger devices and frees up space in the enclosure. The tool-free cover has a low profile and is designed to flush the wall.

Brand: Legrand - Onq

👤I called Sanus/Legrand to inquire about a specific Sanus tv mount for my new tv, which is the same mount as in the pictures. On the 9" side, my height was about 1/8". On both ends, I marked a little over 1/66". The grinder was taken down the sides. It fit like a charm. The grinder took like 5 minutes to complete and the hand sanding took forever. A couple minutes with a cheap sanding block. It almost looks like a factory. I used a cable box and sound bar to run my cables. The 4k box is mounted on the wall. I put a duplex receptacle on the top and bottom and used zip ties to keep the romex tight to the box. I ordered a roll of USA made 1/2 Velcro from Amazon because it wasn't enough to keep everything bundled nicely and the Apple TV box secured. I could wrap my tv's power cord, Atv box, and all the different cables and keep them nice and neat. I bought a bundle that included the internal shelf to mount my Apple TV. Legrand sells rubber grommets for the pass through holes. The big blue box hardware store had about $2 left over. They protect the cable going in about the box from the inside. The Sanus and Legrand media enclosures are the same size. The Sanus is more expensive. They also sell a larger one-encase for anyone who wanted to mount their cable box in there. The description talks about the pass through cover. It is true to their word. I have not had a problem with the remote control for my Atv box. It comes with all the hardware needed to install this before Sheetrock is up or like me. I will buy this again. It was very easy to do. The sides were trimmed down.

👤The 65" Frame TV is manufactured by SAMSUNG. The installation went well. We did not use the mounting hardware for the inside of the box because it was not necessary to remove a flange to fit the one connect. It works great to hide the one connect, since you won't have room for any other devices.

👤The box will hold a lot of devices. It will take some planning to power those devices. I wanted my devices to be protected. The power distribution solution requires a 3-port surge protector and a flat extension cord. I needed to be able to plug certain items in at the right angle since I'm using the insert that has a network switch, Tivo box, IR Repeater, and running power out for the TV. I got some extension cords that were shorter to branch off the surge protectors. Everything is in the box. If I didn't need the network switch, it would be simpler, but it is necessary for my setup. Since the Tivo Remote doesn't need IR, the IR repeater may not be needed. That doesn't take up a lot of room. Surge-protected power delivery was the biggest challenge. There are many places to use zip-ties. The clips to hold the inner tray work well. It's not possible to install everything in the box before mounting it in the location, but you can attach the inner tray piece to the main box. I would use one of these again for another project. I will plan for the perfect size based on how much I cram into it.

Home cinema experience gives you a breathtaking picture and audio that makes you feel like you're in the middle of action. See movies that directors intended. With built-in access to a number of popular channels, you can watch your favorite shows.

Brand: Lg

👤You need to use a remote to get the bass. The kitchen faucet was turned on by the bass. There was no joke.

👤This stereo has a lot of features. The whole thing sounded great until last week, when one speaker died and the other one followed. The main unit probably won't last very long because the speakers are dying so fast. There is an update. The main unit is no longer functioning. It will play for 10 seconds and then go silent for the same amount of time. If you want a stereo that will last more than a few months, look elsewhere.

👤The stereo we have is a lot louder than the one we had before it.

👤My initial impressions of the CM4590 are very positive. Good design and sound. I placed this unit in a large garage and will use it to listen to mp3 songs from a flash drive. I have over 10,000 mp3 songs. I mounted the songs on a 64 gigabyte flash drive in my car and read them all without a problem. The CM4590 can only read up to 2,000 songs. I don't know why this restriction exists. I had to buy five 16GB flash drives and store 10,000 songs on them because of this restriction. 133 hours of listening time will be supported by each flash drive. ... The second requirement was for the unit to have a resume play memory. I want the song to remember where it was when I turn the unit back on. The CM4590 has a resume play memory. I can't imagine anyone listening to CDs anymore. They are no longer the same as the eight-track and cassette tapes. I can have 200 CDs worth of music on a single CD with a smallusb flash drive.

👤A stereo system. This is the first time I've ever owned a phone from the brand, and the sound is amazing. Very clear. This stereo has great bass and I love having it boosted. I have to be careful with it in my apartment.

👤I bought this for my husband and he loves it. The sound is great. He can use his phone to listen to his music. It was pretty loud with the bass.

👤The sound quality is very good. For the price. Is it worth it? I recommend it to everyone. You will love it.

👤Tiene un sonido aceptable.

👤Fcil de instalar.

👤The sound is amazing. I have it set up and it sounds great.

4. Philips Bluetooth Speaker Control Included

Philips Bluetooth Speaker Control Included

The technology allows easy wireless connection to iPod/iPhone/iPad or other devices such as smartphones tablets or even loptops, so you can enjoy your favorite music sound from. Brand: Philips

👤I own a similar Sony system. Quiet CD player, quick turning on of the system, somewhat better sound, louder volume are some of the things this system is superior to. It's also comparable in size. There are a few issues that I have. You can't use headphones with this unit. There is no way to connect headphones to a phone. CDs start to play as soon as they are loaded, and "play" is the default. The speaker wires connect to the main unit. One of the pre-sets that are chosen is Rock, Jazz, Pop, Samba, Techno. There is a bass boost, but no individual bass or treble adjustment. No AM on the radio. The manual tries to do something, but fails miserably. I prefer my Sony by a country mile. I would have kept the Philips if it had a jack.

👤I like jamming out in the morning. I have a hard time getting my phone to connect with it because of the sound. I use the cord from my car. I heard about this stereo system through a site that gives discounts, but I didn't have enough money to pay for it, and I didn't work as much as I could have. I like to listen to music and take my mind off the hard times. This stereo is a good one to purchase.

👤The sound is decent for a system this size. The cons are 1. If you want to add wire to a speaker, there are 4 wires per speaker. 2. My phone won't connect to the bluetooth because it's not my one. 3. There is no separate bass or treble in many systems these days. 4. The remote works fine, but it is the cheapest one I have ever seen.

👤My speaker is loud. The blue tooth speaker is louder than the stereo from the Philips. So angry.

👤I received the first unit and it didn't work. Return was easy and replacement arrived quickly. The new unit did not work on the old one. Two units back to back with non-working components is not good for the name of the company. Not happy with the quality control from the manufacturer. The unit has a good sound quality. Unit is not worth the trouble until they address their end of line quality.

👤The CD player worked well. My flash drives wouldn't play on theusb jack. The ipod wouldn't play with a cable going from the ipod to theusb jack. I bought this unit for the ability to use theusb output jack. I contacted the company and they said the flash drives should work, and I have used them in my car stereo. They don't seem to have an answer, but would get back to me.

👤It was received and seemed to be working well for dollar spent. It's difficult to deal with preset, clock could not be set per instructions, but I have a lot of clocks. The box was thrown in the trash this morning and the remote stopped working this afternoon. I had to explain to the person that it was not a toothbrush and that it was not a TV after they spun it in ten different directions. They referred me to the online store, who then had me call the original number I had called to explain. I would have to return the entire unit to have the remote replaced. I have dealt with many companies butPhillips is the worst.

Brand: Philips

👤The product description says the system has a total output power of 230W. I knew this was not what I was expecting when I received the box. The system is 15W. The system is a micro mini system.

👤The compact stereo works well and is easy to use. You can consult the user manual, but it's not necessary. It has a CD player that can read mp3 disks, as well as a headphone jack, and it also has a flash player. The remote is well designed, but it's a bit of a disadvantage that you need it for most functions. The speakers are good for a small system. They are 6x9x5 inches and have a max. 15 Watts is the output power. They don't sound tinny and provide a fairly undistorted, true sound at all volumes. It's good for spoken word, classical music, and pop/jazz/rock. If you're used to using subs, you'll be disappointed because they don't deliver bass on that level, but that's to be expected. I can now listen to music without getting annoyed at the sound quality, because I have this system in my kitchen. The differences between balanced, clear, powerful, warm and bright are so small that you might as well forget about the DSC sound enhancer. The pairs are easy. My phone, iPad, and laptop all connected. It's not password protected, so someone could connect from the outside, but with a range of less than 30 feet, it's not likely in my neighborhood. The remote control is nicely arranged. I read reviews of systems that are hard to understand. This one is easy to use. I'm pretty happy with this system. It's the right size and sound quality for my kitchen. It has a simple design, so it doesn't look like a transformer toy in your house. There is no easy way to get to the desired track after playing an mp3 disk with an audio book. An mp3 disk has between 150 and 200 tracks. The system doesn't remember which track you were on when you turned it off. If you want to get to track 80, you have to remember the track and push the forward button 80 times. You can't hit in numbers. I took off one star because of that.

👤The product is good, but only the barest minimum of instructions are published byPhillips. Online isn't any help, either. You have no idea how to operate it.

👤It should have better sound. It's not very loud. It is small and not a good thing. The sound needs to be improved.

👤There aren't a lot of micro hi-fi systems. I don't know if the audio equipment manufactured by the company is still available for the US market. I needed a new system for my 13 year old one. The dimensions are perfect and I got this because I wanted to fill the space that was left by the Sony system. It's a sleekly designed system that looks nice, is compact, and works well, and the remote is fine, even though it isn't a high-powered system.

6. LG SN6Y Channel Audio Virtual

LG SN6Y Channel Audio Virtual

Wall Mount, cable management, and a wall mount are included. The power source is corded electric. The subwoofer is 7 x 15 x 11 inches.

Brand: Lg

👤I bought a similar device from the same company. I could compare them in person. I wanted a soundbar that would work with my TV and that would improve my ability to hear dialogue in movies, so I wasn't constantly riding the volume button. I wanted a sound bar that wouldn't turn itself off if I paused for a long time. It is very difficult to find that feature. I was able to pause a Disney + movie for over 45 minutes and it never stopped. I pressed play and it continued. You have to find the soundbar remote to turn it on again after 20 minutes or so, because every other soundbar shuts off after that. I can adjust the volume of the center channel separately, since most dialogue is kept on the center channel. This is one of the biggest advantages of getting a 3.1 soundbar. TVs and sound bars often have to down mix 5.1 channels, which makes the dialog muddy. It's because of this that movies can be hard to hear when you're trying to listen in a quiet setting. Get the soundbar and it will solve all of the problems. I can only speak for people with newer TVs with a HDMI port. It's possible that there's something special that keeps the two products from shutting off. I can't imagine your average person would tell the difference between the audio quality of the two products. I found the sound of the LG to be more intelligibility. I'm not trying to shake the house down, but I did see a slightly larger driver in theSamsung. Go with the LG for convenience.

👤I am a video enthusiast. I've been in the audio and video industry for over 40 years. My daily experience with these products allows me to give you an accurate evaluation. It's a hook up and settings issue with the buyer not knowing how to hook it up. It has nothing to do with the soundbar being bad. The Lg SN6Y sounds great. Its sound is tall, deep, clear, and it packs a punch. It is very well balanced, meaning you don't have a bass that overwhelms the dialogue, and the mids and highs are warm and detailed. The sound quality, low profile, and ease of setup are what I recommend this soundbar for. The display on the front can't be turned off permanently, that's the only negative I found. You should be able to turn it off after a few seconds. Don't buy a cheap soundbar because it looks great. Your dog will howl, women and children will run and cry, and you will be sending it back and looking foolish. I promise you that the money you spent was well spent. * The golden rule in this business is not to buy cheap stuff. It almost always isn't a great deal if it looks that way. You get what you pay for. There is a If you can't afford the extra $150 to get a really high quality product that sounds great, will last, and is very easy to use, then wait. Save your money until you can afford a soundbar like this that you will be happy with. Your wife will cook you dinner, your kid will be happy, and the dog will come home.

7. LG PL7 Water Resistant Wireless Bluetooth

LG PL7 Water Resistant Wireless Bluetooth

If you want to preset the frequencies you want to listen to, simply tune into the station that you want to preset press and hold the preset button to memorize the frequencies. The sound of excellence is brought about by Merrill technology. Premium audio has deep, rich, powerful bass and clear vocals. Feel Bigger Beats. Air pressure is used to create more bass in a limited space. The unit is 2.3 inches x 2 inches. The time for battery charging is 5 hours. Sound you can see. The lights play music. Pick the colors that suit you. Simple design. It is stylish. It is portable. The design is easy to hold and comfortable to carry. Play for all day. You can enjoy your music on-the-go for up to 24 hours with a good battery life.

Brand: Lg

👤I use them on my 2020 TV for the rear surround sound, and they are great, but I have to turn them on and off a couple times before they connect with the tv.

👤The technology is much better than that of the PK line. This speaker could be better. The PL 7 is better than it is. This one is long on loud, short on bass and has great battery life. The app can be used for updates. You can control the speaker from the speaker itself. The bass boost is good, but a few different settings would have been better. The speaker's shape gives it a more balanced sound. Is it difficult to go from IPX 5 to IPX 7? Next time, let's try that.

👤The speaker works well, the battery life is great, and the colors are fun. The bass is not good and that's the only reason it doesn't get a star in my book. The deep bass is certainly there, I had an older JBL Flip 3 that was about the same size. This is an excellent product if you don't care about the low end. It might be better to look at another brand if you do.

👤The speaker is very heavy. The quality is high. The show is amazing. The sound isn't as good as I expected. The sound is not loud. In Charge 4, the bass is not strong. The mids and highs are not moving. The speaker would be good in a $100 range, but for $180 it is losing a battle with JBL. I returned the speaker after 3 days.

👤I have had this speaker for a while now. I didn't review it right away before, but I thought the time was good because it popped up on my list for today. I have been using this speaker multiple times a week for the past few months and it has not disappointed. I use it with my phone and it handles calls very well. The battery lasts a long time for me. The base is not like regular speakers, but it does get loud and is good for a portable unit. I don't think it should be used as a battery bank as I have larger capacity and smaller power bank units that I can use for that job. People in their places. The little brother unit has been working well for me. I can recommend this speaker line confidently.

👤This isn't your product if you need something loud. It works well in my back yard, but we can't hear it when we go to the baseball games.

👤Est una calidad. Se siente robusto. The calidad del sonido est por debajo de misativa expects, no se escucha mal. It is ver para el precio de $200. De semana, lo regresé luego. No paguen ms de 100 dollars.

👤The Xboom PL7 is a great all-round speaker for those who want a lot of features. The unit is large, but the shape is more sleek than the one in 2019. The speaker arrived damaged. There is an annoying sound coming from the passive radiators that distorts the mids and lows. The speaker's dust boot was torn all around the radiators, when I inspected it. I started hearing distortion across all volumes even through AUX when the speaker had not even finished 5 songs. I will give the product a positive review in hopes that this is a one-off problem, because Amazon responded quickly and offered a return the next day.

8. Sony HT G700 3 1CH Dolby Atmos

Sony HT G700 3 1CH Dolby Atmos

The engine is called the Dolby Atmos: X and Vertical Surround Engine. Audio closes to 7.1.2 each sound. The wireless sub delivers a powerful bass sound. Sound modes can be used to listen to movies and music. You can enjoy all your media with multiple easy connections. Enjoy high quality movies in 4K. You can connect to your TV via the internet.

Brand: Sony

👤I bought this knowing that the movies are fake and not real. Why? You cannot beat the price of a Dolby Atmos soundbar. My TV is from Sony. There is an advertised 7.1.2 upscaling. There was no wi-fi. So my review? I watched the content at high volume. A 5.1 or 7.1 sound bar would be better than the zero vertical effect. I had to use my spare high quality HDMI cable because the bar didn't have the right audio quality. The vertical audio can be heard through the front 3 speakers. The sound bar does not have speakers that are upward fired. Sony claimed it could do it with software magic, but solid smart marketing would make you get Sony! It is a decent sound bar with a fake belief that you have a soundbar and upscale. Do you like it? Nope. Everything is coming from the bar. There was no surround effect except for very few effects. Why didn't I get it? This will work for my small room and it will do better than my tv speakers. You can get a Sony 7.1.2 Atmos Sound Bar for $1300 or a Yamaha 7.1.2 Atmos Sound Bar for $1500 if you want a real room. Something with dedicated speakers for Atmos. You have to check the signal of the soundbar to make sure it works. The Apple TV failed to relay the same signal as the TV app got theDD+ signal.

👤I upgraded my sound bar to the 2.1 system. I own a TV. Compatibility and flawless operation can be achieved when you use items of the same brand. The sound wasn't clear. I was looking for an upgrade. This item caught my attention because of a review by a consumer. He seemed to like it and it was a new release for Sony. I had concerns with a Sony speaker. I bought it because of the reviews that said it had a clear dialogue and a realistic sound. I didn't want to pay a premium for the latter. It's cheaper than a full blown Dolby Atmos system and more expensive than a standard 2.1 sound bar. It's a nice speaker, typical of Sony. Installation was easy and included all the required cables. Installation is difficult if you want to fully utilize the capabilities of the speaker. To get full capabilities, you have to use both. You have to connect it to the sound bar correctly. This allows your speaker and TV to work together. If you have more than one HDMI input on your TV, you can use it to output sound to the sound bar. All of these are provided via HDMI data, so this will enable them. There's a problem. These sound formats must be supported by your input sources. For example, my XBOX One only supports Dolby Atmos, my Tivo only supports Dolby Digital, my SAMSUNG only supports Dolby Digital, and so on and so forth. You're paying a premium for this speaker. It's a potential waste of money if you don't have a source to give it to. Unfortunately, that's not the whole story. The speaker needs to be setup correctly if you want to know what your sources are capable of. The manual for this speaker is not very good. Most aren't. You have to read and understand the settings to get the most out of your system. Don't get me wrong. You can get sound by hooking it up. If not configured correctly, the sound would not be better than a standard 2.1 soundbar. I don't want to go through the details, but I recommend you set the audio to either "Dolby Speaker Virtualizer" or "DTS Virtual:X" and never touch the remote again. The settings are what you're paying for. The speaker has other "modes". The sound enhancements didn't seem to make the sound better or different. If you switch to this mode, you'll lose the premium modes of Dolby/DTS, so you have to go through the multi-level settings on the remote to reset it. It's a pain to set the speaker up via the remote. It is not intuitive. The display on the speaker is too small for a person with a vision of 20. My old phone had a big display where you could always see what mode you were in. The dialogue sound quality is very good. I hear a clear sound when there's someone talking. - It's cool if you have the right content. It's not crazy. The review on urAvgConsumer was not accurate. It depends on the person. It looks like a bunch of dots, but if you stare at it long enough you will see a 3D dinosaur. So it's like that... If you sit and listen long enough, your mind and ears will start hearing things around the room. It's not consistent because you're constantly adjusting to not be tricked. This will only work if you are watching content that supports Dolby Atmos. You won't be hearing your evening news in a magical surround sound. There were some nice surprises when I was watching a movie. I go "woah". If your content supports one or the other on the speaker, you don't need to manually switch between the two. You need to make sure you are setting "bitstream" and not "PCM" if you want the speaker to detect and switch to the correct format. - The speaker will shake your walls if you want to pump up the volume in the movie theater. The bass is strong. There's no link issues that I've experienced with the sub. - Normally, I'm in the 40s for normal viewing, but the volume goes to a 100. I've gone up to 50 for some movies. It's too loud beyond that. If you like it loud, the system has plenty of power. It's expensive for what you get. I didn't go and test a bunch of different content with the full experience in mind. The usual stuff I tried were Disney+, Amazon Video, etc. I'm not sure if there's a movie that can blow your mind, but that would be the exception in how I'm using the speaker. - There are some weird issues with one of your TV sources. It took me 2 weeks to figure it out. I have a 1st generation Chromecast plugged in. My TV would lose sync with the sound bar because of this. I almost returned the sound bar because of this. You could re-program the speaker settings to make it easier to watch TV. Be aware that your input sources could cause problems. There will be a delay in sound when you change channels. If the sound format is different between channels, the sound bar has to re-detect which sound format it's in. I'm ok with it, but it could bother people. The sound bar works best with a Sony Bravia TV. This is a Sony feature and you lose out on it. There have been a few quirks where I have to reset the TV and sound bar sync. Most of it may be due to my device. To reset the system, make sure you replug the TV and sound bar. This usually resolves my sync issue. Is it worth it? I'm not sure. I used gift cards to bring the cost down. My main requirement was clear dialogue, which it does well. The Dolby stuff is a nice addition. I think it will leave a lot of people dissatisfied. It's either pay for the $1k+ models to get the best experience or stick with standard audio. This speaker tries to fill the in-between gap and as with all things, you get what you paid for, which is neither here or there for this speaker. -

👤Quality sound is a must in a stereo for me, first of all, I'm a purveyor of sound. This is amazing. The bass from the sub is big and loud. The highs are clear. You will have to play with different settings to find your sound preference. If you're thinking of buying a soundbar without a sub, you'll be disappointed. This sound system is for sale.

👤I received the sound bar on time. I was excited about a 400 watt system. I put the sound bar and sub in the box without the power cords or remote. I returned it because the company couldn't supply replacements.

👤Sounds good. I need to replace the Pioneer soundbar in my living room TV. I took the Pioneer with me to my office. Anywho, about the sound bar? The sound bar is really good. I settled on +2 bass and +2 treble after jacking around with the levels. The sound quality is what I was hoping for and the price is great for a 400w unit. The HDMI ARC is buggy for me. The sound bar on my TV works for 2 seconds via HDMI, but I have to plug it back in before it goes silent. You must repeat. I checked for updates, but they didn't come, so it looks like the unit is half baked. Maybe it will work with your equipment. I prefer to be able to control the sound bar from my TV. I've used analog for this reason, but on to the next con. There was no analog input. I know analog is old school, but it still has advantages. I think I have a problem. I have an optical adapter on the way. This will allow me to set the volume on the soundbar to a reasonable level and then use my TV to control the audio level via my analog out. It is not perfect but should work. - The bass is not very high. I have it set to max out at 5. I'm not a bass-head and never max out the bass I have ever owned. The max bass is about what I want. It might not be strong enough for more bass oriented people. These annoyances got a star. The setup is still a great one. It has been confirmed that the HDMI ARC is malfunctioning on my unit. I decided it goes back. It might be bad luck for me. It sounds great!

👤The sound quality is poor. I wanted to add a sub to my setup. I own a tv and a sound bar that is a few years old. Not capable of adding a sound system. The sound is worse than I thought. It sounds like using the internal tv speakers. The new system didn't sound as good to my kids. There is no depth in the bass. The volume is at 60 out of 100, so it's as loud as my previous one. Most sound systems in this price range have the ability to adjust bass, but there is no ability to do that in this price range. I have ever purchased a bad product from the company. It was just bad. It works with the sound sync. The sound bar volume can be controlled with the Firestick remote.

11. Polk Audio PSW10 Powered Subwoofer

Polk Audio PSW10 Powered Subwoofer

A power hungry vehicle. For extra bass and punch, a 10-inch Dynamic Balance woofer and a directed port provide accurate bass with added depth. A perfect solution for a small room. Even at low frequencies, the sound is rich and deep, even at high volume. The speaker plays the most demanding nodes without any distortion. The power to 100 Watts of Dynamic Power can be doubled with the in-built 50- watt amplifier. This sub is highly durable and fit for use. It is easy to integrate with existing systems. Variable 80-160 Hz and 40-160 Hz frequencies. A sleek grille on the front, speaker and line-level inputs, as well as speaker-level outputs on the back, make this sub cohesive and complete!

👤The glowing reviews for the PSW10 came to me after I had gone through three smaller 8” subs. It was better than anything I had before, and it was every bit as good as they say. I was so impressed with the musical performance that I began budgeting for something even better. The PSW10 cost 5x more than the SVS SB12-NSD, but many forums claimed it was light years ahead of it. I found the claims to be exaggerated after breaking in my new SVS. It could reach down to a bone-rattling 15hertz, which I like, but may not be everyone's cup of tea. For every other attribute, the PSW10 was 80% the quality of the SVS. I had to replay a bunch of songs side by side with both subs and assign a 10% more tightness to the SVS. Maybe some people consider that last 10% improvement night and day, but I just call it 10%, as in only really noticeable when compared side to side. I agree with many other reviewers that the PSW10 is perfect. Nothing can be done at its price point.

👤I had a Denon receiver and ordered 2 of these. I figured I might as well try it. I read an article on an A/V forum that said that 2 lesser expensive woofers is better in a home theater than 1 single premium one, because it will fill the room better and matter less where you're sitting for how you hear the bass response. I am blown away. I have one on either side. They sound great with games, music and movies. Replacing my theater in a box sub sounds terrible. I watched the Dark Knight and it was crazy how much more powerful the guns, cars, and punches were with the better bass and music of the films. Weapons firing and explosions in games will shake the walls if you want them to. I'm sure a single one of these would be a huge upgrade over theater in a box subs, but with a pair, they really shine. Highly recommended.

👤I bought two of them because my Pro Sub 1000 died after 8 years. The purchase was based on the reviews. The receiver has two outputs. I decided to get two when I only had one. I was a bit underwhelmed at first. I was expecting a lot more bass, but it wasn't the case. It didn't have the same effect as my DT. I was expecting the cost of the DT to be under 200, but it is close to $500. After messing with the output of my speakers and receiver, I finally got a decent sound that I can live with. I have to keep the volumn on the subs to get the results I want. I only had to have half of it. I don't play music on my system, so I don't have a review of the sound quality. I'm glad I got two. There will be additional review after two days. I will now rate these as a 5 star after I realized that the lack of bass from these speakers was caused by an operator error. I didn't have the output to the sub turned up from minimal. Once I started cranking it up, I got more bass. Excellent. I can turn down the master volume on the speaker. The auto shutoff feature was malfunctioning. It wouldn't wake up on a signal return when it went into sleep mode. I didn't have a high enough output to the sub on my receiver. It works great after another issue was solved. Very happy with the purchase.
