👤The definition of TERRIBLE is Polk support. There was no resolution. I have been promised a replacement for nearly two months. The potential for this product is there, but the performance so far is poor. The surround speakers make a most annoying sound. Tech support has not supported the problem. I wouldn't speak to these speakers until the problem is solved. I wish I'd found this information before I purchased it, as I have found on-line others complaining of the same issue. Don't buy this and don't buy Polly - Customer Service gets worse. It's sad to say.
👤It was bought on March 14th and is dead on July 9th. I tried optical, HDMI, and Bluetooth, but it kept restarting and wouldn't play sound from any source. I thought it was a nice sounding system, but who keeps boxes that big for more than a few weeks? Polk customer service will be reviewed. Polk Customer service is fantastic, absolutely no hassle, nothing to provide, and I had a replacement in less than 10 minutes. It was easy to hook up the new one. Hope this one lasts, it sounds like it was as good as the first one.
👤I wanted an excellent soundbar and it was exactly what I got. I was looking for a replacement for a traditional receiver and 5.1 speaker surround sound system, but I was worried that a soundbar wouldn't live up to my expectations. I'm not an audio engineer. I can't tell the difference between the Polk Left/Center/ Right speakers I had previously and this one. The surround sound is what I wanted, they need a power outlet each. And that's it. The way my room is configured I can't have the rear speakers wired to a single amplifier because there are other sound bars with separate rear channels. Other people have stated that the sub is very impressive. I was nervous about how it would sound, but I'm very happy. There was an update on 5-13. It was reduced to three stars. Sometimes we watch TV in the other room with a cheap soundbar that doesn't have these issues, because the crackling fire in the front speakers is so bad. When changing channels or going into the Comast menu, the soundbar will sometimes disengage from the audio source, and then it takes a few seconds to get back to playing sound. I will contact Polk to see what they have to say.
👤I bought a sound bar on Thanksgiving. It was a unit that I was interested in buying. It was too good to pass up. Within 40 minutes, I had the bar running. The only reason for it taking so long is through my Fire cube. A bar at this price range will get an additional 3 HDMI ports. There is a medium sized master bedroom. The power of the sub is quite noticeable. I'm in a house. I would let her rip. The ease of use is what makes me happy as a blind person. The setup and system update was done through the app. A total of 5 minutes. The only problem I had was learning the remote layout. I would like to see remote layout documentation in user guides. Customers who are blind would benefit from it. Polk customer service explained the buttons. All within a few minutes. I spoke to a gentleman who was very nice. There is a The sound bar is large enough to cover the full width of my television. Be prepared! The box is large. It was a challenge to open it. Very well packed. The bass, lows, and mid range are all great. Voice quality is clear. A good buy for a small to medium sized room. I'm considering the surround speakers, but I might make my neighbor angry. We'll see! There is a If you are considering this unit... I recommend it to you. I can discern tones with my sight. A very clean sound.
The Spk8 add-on rear channel speakers can turn a living room into a theater. This kit is designed to connect to the sound system via a wireless connection. The speakers can be wall-mounted, especially handy when there is no table nearby.
👤The speakers that I bought for the SK9Y 5.1.2-Channel High-Res 500W soundbar were nominated as an optional extra. The sound quality of this device is amazing. We have had two sounders from JBL over the past 8 years, but the price and the ability to add wireless rear speakers was too tempting. It almost ended in disaster. The rear speakers were to be the icing on the new cake, but they were the problem. The setup was easy and I recommend the app. There was no sound coming from the rear speakers. I discovered the cause after reading and re-reading the limited documentation. The speaker controller uses 5 GHz to communicate. If you have a dual-band 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz internet and are using the 5 GHz channel, the rear speakers will not function properly. I had a dual 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz range extension for one side of the house. The solution is not worth much to me. It has faster data rates, but over a shorter distance. The solution was simple, turn off the internal 5 GHz radio in both the Router and the Extender. The rear speakers came alive when I did this. I hope my journey with this will help someone. I think the sound system is worth it.
👤They are wireless because there are no wires to the front speakers. There are wires between the speakers and the amplification unit that connect to the wall for electricity. The setup was easy and the connection was automatic. The speaker stands listed below worked out perfectly. We are very happy with the setup of the sound bar and rear speakers, they are awesome! There is a satellite speaker on the floor stand.
👤The packaging was poor and there was nothing to cushion the factory box from banging around inside the shipping box. The speakers seem to be well made and have good sound, once you get them to work. I don't think it's right to have to download an App to my tablets just to adjust my speakers. I want to make available information that may help other people purchase this item. I have included some pictures because it was nearly impossible to find a picture of the rear or bottom of the speakers. There are two 4mm threaded mounting holes on each speaker and spring wire clips to attach the speaker wires. There are two of them, one on the bottom and the other in the back. The holes are deep. The wireless connection between the sound bar and the speaker amplifier is not the same as the wire connection between the speakers and the amplifier. The speakers were mounted with brackets. I have provided some pictures to show you how I did it. Hopefully, it will help others.
👤These are currently with the Sk9Y bar. My living room is large and open so I felt the bar alone wasn't enough. The bar and these pairs immediately. The bar has a surround setting of 6 and it still seems quiet. The surround sound when using the dolby demos is absolutely flawless. I feel these added to a more immersed viewing experience but wish the sound coming from the speakers were more dispersed so those sitting near the sides could get more benefit.
3.1.2ch with 440W total output power Audio technology in the area. High Resolution Audio 24bit/ 96kHz with 4K Passthrough. Multi-Platform support for various platforms. The passthrough of Dolby Vision. The passthrough of Dolby Vision.
👤I really wanted to like this sound bar since I bought it for $450, but it killed our 5 GHz wireless network every time it was turned on. I put it in my bedroom. A full array of TVs via an Arc. I have an AC1900 (AC68U) Wireless Router that supports both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bandwidth. When standing in front of the Soundbar, I ran a Speed Test on my Iphone on the 5 GHz bandwidth and I got 260 Mbps down and 13 Mbps up. After I turned on the Soundbar, I only got about 30-15 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up. If I switched to the 2.4 Ghz, I would get about 84 Mbps down and 12 Mbps up. I want to be able to access the full bandwidth since I am paying for 250 Mbps internet down. I don't want to upgrade to 2.4 GHz just to use a soundbar, that is not an option. Why would I want to change the setting on my 5 GHz wireless routers to set a specific channel when it currently selects the best channel for the range? If I ever wanted to upgrade to a new wireless mesh router, some of the newer ones auto selects between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and you can't change it. I found a forum that said that the soundbar uses a 5 GHz band internally to connect to the speakers. My problem is not because I am located in the downstairs office, but because the documentation says not to place the soundbar within 10 feet of the wireless network. The signal from the sound bar would be killed by the soundbar. Kids would complain that they can't watch tv in the living room when the sound bar is on. There is a The simple solution is to allow a hardwire connection. If users run into issues with the soundbar, they can turn it off. For the sound quality of the Soundbar, I am not an enthusiast, but for me the sound was just okay. I was able to use the app on my phone to connect to the internet. I could not connect to the app because it didn't work initially. I tried it again after 30 minutes and it worked. I saw a message that said "B-Update" when I turned on the TV and sound bar, and it took me about 10 minutes to download. The Room calibration tool was used after that. I used the Sony TV app to watch Disney+ and then watched the movie. It sounded okay, not great, and not bad. The TV speaker had some bass. I could feel the bass in a big action sequence, but it wasn't always there. The Sony TV's volume control was odd, it only went from 0 to 40, but my TV went from 1 to 100. When you move the volume up and down, it would skip 2 to 3 numbers. There was a slight lip sync issue. When you can see the lips move, it's more noticeable. The lip sync issue was less noticeable when I watched movies. The lip sync issue was the second deal breaker for me. The screen on the front is a little too bright. It should turn off after 15 seconds, or at least have the option to do that in the app. I have to return this soundbar because my 5 Ghz wireless network is more important than any soundbar. I use my 5 GHz internet for work. I've tried other sound bars, like the Sonos Beam, for $450. The dialog was clear but there was no bass. It is not optional to have a sub for watching movies. My wife said that the sound of the Beam sounded ok but had no bass. The total cost of the system without surround speakers is $1200, and I can't justify paying $750 for a Sonos Sub. I can't justify spending more for my audio equipment than my TV, and this is for our bedroom, not a dedicated home theater setup. I went to search for sound bars and interference with the internet and found a lot of issues. I have read a lot of sound bar reviews and people always complain about the wireless subs not working. I am wondering if that has to do with the new setup of the neighbor's new internet connection. I was looking for a sound bar that had a wired sub, but all the new sound bars have wireless subs. My wife doesn't want a receiver and a bunch of speaker wire cables in the bedroom, so I am back in search for a 3.1 sound bar for under $500-$800 that just works. If I can't find one, I will get a receiver and small Klipsch 5.1 reference speakers for around $800.
The Sony 2.1 Channel Sound Bar System with Wireless Subwoofer is the ultimate home theater upgrade. Audio comes alive. The power output brings the content to life. The speaker unit and volume of the subwoofer are powerful. S-Force Pro is a virtual surround sound technology. There are seven sound modes, choose from Auto Sound, Cinema, Music, Game, News, Sports, and Standard Audio Mode. Voice enhancement can be used to amplify the noise over the background. You can stream your favorite movies, shows, and music from your phone.
👤I was looking for a good sound system. I didn't care if it was able to jump through hoops or not, this one fit the bill nicely. I have a great soundbar with built in subs that is great, but I wanted one for a larger room that would provide even louder and deeper bass. After listening for a few days, I was a little disappointed but knew that speakers and especially subs need to be replaced in time. I've heard that some of the soundbars sell for up to 600 dollars, but this one sounds like it would be a good buy. Some people have experienced sound delays with other soundbars. The voices are clear and the bass is loud enough to make a difference in a movie. I can confirm that music and dvds sound good. If you're able to use a subs, you should place it in different places in the room to see where it will sound best. This is a great buy at 199 dollars and is well worth it.
👤It's okay if you're used to sound bars. I really wanted to like it. I tried every setting and it sounded so compressed. Even at full volume, the sub is not impressive. The living room is twice the size and we just installed a Samsaung sound bar in it. It was paid for at Best Buy. This was installed with a 65" Sony in a media room with carpeting and 8' ceilings. The set up was easy and fast. It sounded better with Steely Dan than it did with the TV, when I turned it on. I will be sending it back so I can get a better sound experience. My thoughts. If you are interested in something that sounds better than your TV speakers, this might be a good idea for you. I would suggest different options if you want something more than average.
👤The sound is really good and it is very easy to use. I downsized from a 7.1 surround setup. If the dialogue is enhanced, I don't think we lost any sound. If I had paid full price, I would have been happy.
👤I have had a Sony sound bar for two weeks. The sound bar was easy to pair with after the user error was corrected. I was initially disappointed with the bass from the sub woofer, but the more I have listened to it, the more I can say it does deliver. It was a good value and it was delivered on time. It was well packaged. It will allow you to pair 9 devices to it, which will allow for a lot of usage. I have it in my master bedroom and it is loud enough. You don't have to use on and off button's. It will turn on and pair automatically if I tell it to do so. When you turn the television off, it will also power off. The price and sound quality are what will make you happy.
A power hungry vehicle. For extra bass and punch, a 10-inch Dynamic Balance woofer and a directed port provide accurate bass with added depth. A perfect solution for a small room. Even at low frequencies, the sound is rich and deep, even at high volume. The speaker plays the most demanding nodes without any distortion. The power to 100 Watts of Dynamic Power can be doubled with the in-built 50- watt amplifier. This sub is highly durable and fit for use. It is easy to integrate with existing systems. Variable 80-160 Hz and 40-160 Hz frequencies. A sleek grille on the front, speaker and line-level inputs, as well as speaker-level outputs on the back, make this sub cohesive and complete!
👤The glowing reviews for the PSW10 came to me after I had gone through three smaller 8” subs. It was better than anything I had before, and it was every bit as good as they say. I was so impressed with the musical performance that I began budgeting for something even better. The PSW10 cost 5x more than the SVS SB12-NSD, but many forums claimed it was light years ahead of it. I found the claims to be exaggerated after breaking in my new SVS. It could reach down to a bone-rattling 15hertz, which I like, but may not be everyone's cup of tea. For every other attribute, the PSW10 was 80% the quality of the SVS. I had to replay a bunch of songs side by side with both subs and assign a 10% more tightness to the SVS. Maybe some people consider that last 10% improvement night and day, but I just call it 10%, as in only really noticeable when compared side to side. I agree with many other reviewers that the PSW10 is perfect. Nothing can be done at its price point.
👤I had a Denon receiver and ordered 2 of these. I figured I might as well try it. I read an article on an A/V forum that said that 2 lesser expensive woofers is better in a home theater than 1 single premium one, because it will fill the room better and matter less where you're sitting for how you hear the bass response. I am blown away. I have one on either side. They sound great with games, music and movies. Replacing my theater in a box sub sounds terrible. I watched the Dark Knight and it was crazy how much more powerful the guns, cars, and punches were with the better bass and music of the films. Weapons firing and explosions in games will shake the walls if you want them to. I'm sure a single one of these would be a huge upgrade over theater in a box subs, but with a pair, they really shine. Highly recommended.
👤I bought two of them because my Pro Sub 1000 died after 8 years. The purchase was based on the reviews. The receiver has two outputs. I decided to get two when I only had one. I was a bit underwhelmed at first. I was expecting a lot more bass, but it wasn't the case. It didn't have the same effect as my DT. I was expecting the cost of the DT to be under 200, but it is close to $500. After messing with the output of my speakers and receiver, I finally got a decent sound that I can live with. I have to keep the volumn on the subs to get the results I want. I only had to have half of it. I don't play music on my system, so I don't have a review of the sound quality. I'm glad I got two. There will be additional review after two days. I will now rate these as a 5 star after I realized that the lack of bass from these speakers was caused by an operator error. I didn't have the output to the sub turned up from minimal. Once I started cranking it up, I got more bass. Excellent. I can turn down the master volume on the speaker. The auto shutoff feature was malfunctioning. It wouldn't wake up on a signal return when it went into sleep mode. I didn't have a high enough output to the sub on my receiver. It works great after another issue was solved. Very happy with the purchase.
18 speakers perform in a home theater. The speakers rotation will improve your audio experience. The movies are: Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. There is a sound around and above. The speakers reflect sound off the ceiling. The sound pressure level and range deliver a life-like sound. The sound pressure level and range deliver a life-like sound.
👤After I called to inform them that their satellite speakers had crackling/popping issues when changing content, they told me that it was a "me problem" and that I should go bother some other tech support. They kept asking if it was a problem with their own product, instead of acknowledging the possibility that it was. There is nothing wrong with the satellite speakers and my new TV, even though I found this issue replicated online from other third party sources. I hit the same brick wall after replicating this one chat. I highly recommend you don't waste your money since Vizio is giving subpar support, even though this soundbar is retailing at one thousand dollars. Their "troubleshooting steps" were to be turned off. It's all over. Not even joking! The support documentation hasn't been updated in a year, and they kept telling me to use the included remote instead of the menu option.
👤VIZIO support says you just have to wait a short time for the internet to turn off. The media console area has a lot of other connections, and the network it broadcasts is interfering with them. I spent weeks trying to figure out why my devices were having trouble connecting to the internet before I realized what was happening. There is no way to turn it off. If your neighbors don't like your volume, they just need to download the smartcast vizio app, connect to your soundbar's completely secure wi-fi network, and turn down the volume for you. If they don't like how much you have, turn off the bass. If you connect your soundbar to your home internet, it will give you internet access to any devices that connect to the internet. I will attempt to return this product. It's too late now.
👤I was able to turn off the audible voice that was calling out which input selection you were making each time you changed it. Pressing and holding down the mute button on the remote disabling the audible voice and turning off the small power light on the soundbar is a good way to do this. So far, so good. I downsized my home entertainment setup to reduce the amount of stuff in the media center. We used to have a pieced together 3.1 AV setup, 1 Bose center channel, and a Yahama 10” sub powered by a newer Denon AVR. The central soundbar and wireless sub are designed to be very easy to use. We don't have enough room to run the rear satellite speakers that come with it, so we are just using the soundbar and sub. Everyone complains about the setup process. The setup I had was fine using the SmartCast app. The app doesn't explain what some of the sound settings do, that's the only complaint I have. The sound is very strong. The dialogue is better than Bose provided. If I were running the rear satellites, the mid level treble would probably get better. One thing to note is that the soundbar makes you more aware of how different movies and shows sound. Some shows have their levels subtly different and this soundbar will highlight that. Anything Atmos is amazing. The coverage of the outer sections of the soundbar is amazing. Everything could be mixed up. I have to adjust the sub to a safer level for most TV watching because it is so powerful. The machine has a ghost in it. The Apple TV is always the first input to watch when you turn the TV on, regardless of which input we use. The soundbar has a voice that will announce what input you are going to switch to. It is a nice feature. There is no way to turn the voice down. I am very happy with this purchase. The most important thing for me when watching a movie or show is the dialogue, and this thing delivers in every way for that metric. It feels a little flat, but the surround sound is great and the sub is really powerful. I am happy with this purchase. It worked well with my TV.

👤If you're expecting a $65 off-brand projector to be cinema quality sharp and bright enough to easily watch in a room with the lights on, you're not being realistic. What is this little unit? It's a great projector for a movie night for a group of people at an amazing price, but you'll need to make sure you have a dark room and a projector in case you're having an outdoor viewing party. If you get close enough, you can see the picures. The description says it's in high definition. Right? It does not mean that the internal display is 1920x1080, it is just that it can play high definition content from a microSD card or ausb drive. Does that mean it's not worth the price? Absolutely it is. You can find a projector with a high definition display for less than $300. It means that you need to chill out and accept that your projector won't be as sharp as the ones at the movie theater. Did you think it would happen? I don't know who you are. I like to get movies on bluray after I've seen them in the theater because even the theater ones are not as sharp as a bluray on a decent TV. It is on a large screen. If you pick this up you can get a projector screen for $20 on Amazon and have your own home cinema for less than a hundred dollars. This thing is easy to use, reliable, sharp, and bright enough to be seen in a dark room. The cheap and long life light bulb prevents you from buying expensive halogen bulbs, and it has a tripod thread on the bottom for easy mounting.
👤I used the video projector to project a game in a Cervell style and let everyone participate, thanks to the excellent brightness, having a lot of fun. I put it through a test to see some movies by connecting it to the PC and it still looked good, even under stress. I am really satisfied with the purchase and the projector looks good in materials. Excellent delivery times and great product are recommended for the quality and price ratio.
👤The update works perfectly and has been used many times. We upgraded our screen because we were loaning it out so much. The fire stick is working well after being hooked up. It's worth every penny. Great little projector. I have used it about 20 times. The kids love it, it's perfect for outdoor movies. I have been telling everyone in my neighborhood about this machine. It is so easy to use. The picture quality is great.
👤For an update, read to the end. The deal is likely to be true. I need to be a contortionist to use the remote, so I can't say anything about the picture quality or features. It's difficult to aim at the sensor when it's mounted high on the wall. Who had a bright idea was it to 1. The machine has a sensor on it. Make the signal so weak. It is practically useless. I know this because my children like to link their Roku to mine and change the channel on me, so I know our remote works anywhere in the house. I used to get quality products from Amazon, but not anymore. I have learned my lesson. There will be no more purchases from me. I'm sick of wasting money on useless products. It is difficult for me to return things because of my work hours and there is no place to send returns to. There is an update. The company apologized and sent a new remote, but it didn't make a difference. I had to be a contortionist to get it at the right angle. They tried to guilt me into changing my review. She needed that job and if I didn't change my review she would be fired. She told me they would give me a partial refund. More manipulation is good. I never saw a dime returned. They tried to get me to change my review, but never heard back from Amazon. There is a large orange tint in the middle of the picture after only 7 months. I have to get my son to help me get to the root of the problem. It looks like the lens are burning. I'm going to buy a new one. Not from this company. There are shady business practices.
The Hisense HS218 Sound Bar comes with 4 spearkers and a wireless sub, which gives you a total of 200 Watts superior audio, together with a professional sound effect tuning. It will make your TV sound better. A wireless 80 watt sub delivers the robust low-end frequencies that make up your favorite movies, music, and games without any messy wires. The two front-facing speakers project bright, clear high and mid-range frequencies. Hisense's Soundbar is compatible with any Roku Tv through the HDMI connection. You can use the Roku Tv remote to control both the tv and soundbar for a better navigation experience. The Hisense HS218 can connect to your Tv through a single HDMI cable, connect to a smart device through a wireless connection, and control both with one remote. You will be enjoying better TV sound. The Quick Touch EQ Modes give you the best audio performance from music, movies, and news with a simple touch of the remote. The Hisense 218 Sound Bar, HDMI cable, optical cable, and wall mounting kit are included to make sure that you have what you need to make the most of your audio experience.
👤The sound bar is malfunctioning. The unit will not be turned on by the remote. Plug the power in to make it turn on. The cables were changed and still no output. Eliminated the TV output and the cables by using a different speaker to test the speaker. The sound bar is dead on the inputs. Great sounding but two major issues. The stupid sticker on top of the bar was almost impossible to remove and left a horrible sticky film that was almost impossible to remove. The Hisense TV is connected to a second issue, which is that it is not designed to work together. Hisense TV won't just turn on and work if you connect to it. You have to go into the TV's settings to find a device to link and connect to. That was never said in the manual. It took me a long time to figure it out. If you want to use your existing Hisense TV remote to control the volume on the TV, you have to use the one with the soundbar which is retarded. I tried to connect an optical cable, but it didn't work, so I had to use the remote that came with the sound bar. The biggest problem I can't figure out is that when a show is paused for 10 minutes, the sound bar doesn't work again unless you turn off the TV completely and turn it back on again. This is terrible. Even though the Hisense has an option to turn off connected devices after a while, the soundbar still doesn't work. I would love to know how to stop this from happening. It sounds great and has easy sound settings.
👤My expectations about the function of this equipment were not realistic. I expected the sound bar to be better than the speakers on the television, but it wasn't as good as I thought. I would recommend this sound bar as it was not too expensive, but it does have limitations, at least in my view.
👤I refuse to buy another Bose due to their ridiculous non-warranty $100 repair fee, which is ridiculous when you consider that a $200 sound bar is not even necessary. Bose wanted to fix our solo5 but we decided to give our Hisense sound bar combo for $50 more. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the system I just installed. It can go louder than you would ever want to use, it has a good quality sound, and it has a bonus of bass. I think the Hisense is as good for less money as the Bose was, and it definitely is louder if needed. This is a major upgrade. I would recommend this for the price.
👤I was expecting something because of the brand. Then again the price. I am happy with the way it sounds. If you own a Hisense TV, I recommend it.
👤I had issues with the sound after purchasing this item. I was using a device. I switched the cable and it seemed to work again. It started doing it worse a month later. I would return to TV audio. I switched to optical cable but it still cuts out. The sound will stop and the light will blink a few times. I've tried all the basics. The manufacturer was past the return date so I tried to contact them. They are terrible. Someone will contact you in 48 hours. That didn't happen. They said it was in the headquarters and someone would call me. They wouldn't tell me how long it would take or when someone would contact me. They won't give you a number to call. Hisense has a rating. Their customer service is a problem. It was finally Amazon that stepped in. I eventually heard from Hisense Customer Service. I was willing to wait, but it took a long time. They contacted me and worked on the issues I had. I hope they will be quicker on customer service issues in the future. I like the product. It wasn't a good idea to return it because it didn't work. I couldn't fix it at the time. I now have another one. I hope I don't run into any issues.
Low-Profile Design with 6 Full-range Speakers. Powerful 5" Wireless Subwoofer. The speakers have Discreet Volume. It was designed for 4K TVs with audio and video. Audio cables and a TV remote are included for easy setup.
👤I had been watching the previous soundbars. They are cheaper than the top of the line products. The smaller version would be on sale for $300. There was a very favorable review for this unit on the internet. The refurbished unit was only $175. I ordered it and it was good. It was very easy to set it up. The sound is very clean and loud. I own an 8 inch B&W, a 10 inch ELAC and a 10 inch SVS. I'm used to deep bass. The Yamaha soundbar that I replaced was slightly taller than the other Vizio soundbars I own. There is a feature where a smart speaker can be connected to a separate line. When the smart speaker wants to speak, the soundbard will reduce the main source volume and then bring the volume back afterwards. It worked. It accepts an Atmos bitstream. The surround is good. The remote is backlit. My TV has the ARC feature. The features and value are very good. These are all minor. There is very little air and image in the front of the soundbar. There's still a lack of focus despite the help of the virtual surround and virtual surround. It sounds different. I couldn't find any height. My main system is hyper focused and it is obvious. The remote is difficult to use. It's not terrible, but you will need to make a quick adjustment in the dark. There is no internet or wi-fi. The Vizio display is crappy. Since there are so many refurbished units out there, Vizio makes good soundbars. None of the ones I've purchased have failed and the ones I've bought are not as good as they could be. The typical Vizio is inferior to most soundbars. Highly recommended.
👤I decided to try it out. It is not an Amazon open box, but a third party seller. I was made to contact them by Amazon. The sound bar won't work from the input. Both the sub and the sub-bassoon will not pair. I am not sure if that will work. It won't pair with my phone via blue tooth. I will have to fight with the seller to get a replacement or money back.
👤I have too many speakers for one life time. I was trying to go "modern" with this and it blew me away. I have a small office, but it's great for the price. The harmon kardon can't touch this model. It was super impressed.
👤Just what I needed. Movie theater status and music are not the same. I maxed out the volume on the rear speakers and turned the dialog and bass up as well. You will be amazed by TV speakers. It definitely sounds like a movie theater with less bass if you mount your speakers behind you. This is a nice setup for a small room. The cons are that it's not compatible with Amazon's voice assistant: I'm not going to be upset, but it's a problem with the alexa. I think it's a problem with the speaker and not the device. I switched it to the Aux and everything went well. Losing a star is not worth it. Some reviewers haven't realized they can use the remote control to tune their system. I think I like it after 2 or 3 weeks.
Wall Mount, cable management, and a wall mount are included. The power source is corded electric. The subwoofer is 7 x 15 x 11 inches.
👤I bought a similar device from the same company. I could compare them in person. I wanted a soundbar that would work with my TV and that would improve my ability to hear dialogue in movies, so I wasn't constantly riding the volume button. I wanted a sound bar that wouldn't turn itself off if I paused for a long time. It is very difficult to find that feature. I was able to pause a Disney + movie for over 45 minutes and it never stopped. I pressed play and it continued. You have to find the soundbar remote to turn it on again after 20 minutes or so, because every other soundbar shuts off after that. I can adjust the volume of the center channel separately, since most dialogue is kept on the center channel. This is one of the biggest advantages of getting a 3.1 soundbar. TVs and sound bars often have to down mix 5.1 channels, which makes the dialog muddy. It's because of this that movies can be hard to hear when you're trying to listen in a quiet setting. Get the soundbar and it will solve all of the problems. I can only speak for people with newer TVs with a HDMI port. It's possible that there's something special that keeps the two products from shutting off. I can't imagine your average person would tell the difference between the audio quality of the two products. I found the sound of the LG to be more intelligibility. I'm not trying to shake the house down, but I did see a slightly larger driver in theSamsung. Go with the LG for convenience.
👤I am a video enthusiast. I've been in the audio and video industry for over 40 years. My daily experience with these products allows me to give you an accurate evaluation. It's a hook up and settings issue with the buyer not knowing how to hook it up. It has nothing to do with the soundbar being bad. The Lg SN6Y sounds great. Its sound is tall, deep, clear, and it packs a punch. It is very well balanced, meaning you don't have a bass that overwhelms the dialogue, and the mids and highs are warm and detailed. The sound quality, low profile, and ease of setup are what I recommend this soundbar for. The display on the front can't be turned off permanently, that's the only negative I found. You should be able to turn it off after a few seconds. Don't buy a cheap soundbar because it looks great. Your dog will howl, women and children will run and cry, and you will be sending it back and looking foolish. I promise you that the money you spent was well spent. * The golden rule in this business is not to buy cheap stuff. It almost always isn't a great deal if it looks that way. You get what you pay for. There is a If you can't afford the extra $150 to get a really high quality product that sounds great, will last, and is very easy to use, then wait. Save your money until you can afford a soundbar like this that you will be happy with. Your wife will cook you dinner, your kid will be happy, and the dog will come home.
The reference floorstanding speaker is each. The speaker is from the center channel. The speakers are a pair. The speakers are a pair. The SPL-100 is a 10" Subwoofer. The SPL-100 is a 10" Subwoofer.
