👤The part where I get my pay is here. I go on and on about how I am more qualified than that guy and that girl because I did this and that as well. It's an ego stroke. The pay is that. I will send mine to charity. I have been on the air for 27 years. You have two ears. I have two ears. We go. This is a speaker of the year. Technology. What do they sound like? They are very close to you. The sound field is very small. They have a little bit on the high end now. The bass is unstoppable. Again, speaker of the times. It's all you could want in life if your scene is "Yo Baby Yo Baby Yo". If you like Jim Croce and America, it's not bad. The mid-range is bright and colorful. That's what I was saying when I said "close". It's the middle part of a mix that has presence and intimacy. The speakers have that. Rush fans and Genesis fans would be a little disappointed, because the complexity of that music needs a strong high end to explain itself. Neil and Phil would love it. There is a kick drum in the house. That is not a modern term. It sounds like the kick drum is in your house. Really. It's ridiculous that you can get this much fidelity for the price of the speakers. The value here is huge. Highly recommended.
👤I have been to my father's recording studio many times and have heard some of the best studio monitors. I have high regards for the speakers of the Logitech brand, even though I am not comparing them to a pair of Genelec studio monitors. I bought these speakers with a monitor for my PC because I knew they would be better than the speakers in my TV, which I was using as a monitor for the longest time. When I got them, I set them up and played music from my phone. I was blown away by the sound quality that these speakers put out even when they weren't properly setup. I was even more amazed when the speakers were set up. I was surprised that the speakers were not making noise, and I eventually increased the volume to three-quarters of the way. Since I set them up, I have been using them on my Macbook Pro nonstop and have been able to turn off my sound card in my ipod as I feel they reproduced the sound more accurately. My review is based on many variables such as the size of my room, placement of the speakers, and so on. I have found that with these speakers, you need to turn the bass knob up to get a smooth low frequencies response and a more overall sound. When setting up the speakers, I recommend using a song that you know well and setting the volume to your normal listening volume and then modifying the bass knob to your satisfaction. One of the most important factors for the sound of your system is placement. I think the speakers are worth the money. I use them to listen to music, play movies, and do other audio related tasks on my computer. The speakers are certified by the THX and it felt like it was close to being in a movie theater when it came to movies with adequate use of the subs. I'm thinking of getting another pair of Bose Cinemate GS Series II to replace the Bose Cinemate GS Series II that is on the TV in my living room as I feel that this system is better than the Bose. If it were to be used for on a TV, there is no remote for changing the volume or shutting the unit off, which is one of the only cons I can find. Most TVs have a fixed audio output, which means that it can be difficult to change volume by hand. This is a small fault since the system is more of a computer system than a TV. Don't hesitate to buy this unit. For the price, I have yet to find anything that is comparable.
There are 6 surround speakers. 5.1 channel surround sound. There are knobs on the back of the amplifier. The speakers measure 3.35 x 3.07 x 5.35 inches. The built-in AC power cable was used to power it. The power source is corded electric.
👤This was the lowest price I could find, and I like surround sound. It is pretty good for the price. The sound is good enough for me. I live in an apartment with a paper wall between me and my neighbor, so I won't try to run it at the highest volume. This system fills the room that I watch TV in with sound because it's only ten by ten feet. They have 1 cons. If the nursing home allows me to surround sound, I'll replace the remote if I can't get up and walk six feet to adjust the sound. 2. The back of the subs has the controls on it. They would be easier to reach if they were on the front. This is a good system for the price. If I had been willing to spend more, I might have gotten a better one, but my budget is tight, so I am happy with this one. I would recommend it to someone with a small budget.
👤The house I'm selling is attached to the walls, and the agent told me not to attach anything to them. I bought a cheap system to replace my nice system. I didn't think this was going to be very good. I was mistaken. They sound terrible. My computer speakers are from walmart. If you're on a budget, I wouldn't recommend these because it's likely your TV has better audio output. Don't forget that there is no output or input for HDMI. You're stuck to the same thing. Don't buy unless you understand the experience you're getting.
👤I got these speakers a week ago. It was needed for TV. The TV sound was drowned out by the fans and air conditioning. The speaker wires are a little short. I set up the speakers behind us with a 50 foot audio cord. The sound comes from the front and back. The speaker put out a great sound. The price is great.
👤This may be a good idea to get, but don't get it. We had this for a while before it became a problem. After a while, the sound is bad but we were able to get over it, after that, we couldn't even fix it.
👤It works well. I wanted to use it for my PS4. I was hoping to connect it to my TV. I could control the volume with my tv remote, but it wouldn't work. I bought an accessory for it. It works fine when connected to my PS4. It's a great buy if you have to adjust volume manually. Happy with it.
👤I bought this system twice because of the low price. When 2 channels stopped working, the first one I bought only lasted 3-4 months. I needed a sound system and it was the best price, even though it was out of warranty. I bought it again because it had a good sound. I thought I had a lemon. The second one lasted about the same amount of time as the first. I contacted the company and they wouldn't do anything about it other than give me 40% off another set from their website. It was the same price as it was on Amazon with their 40% off. I could just purchase another one for the same price that I paid for the first two. I asked the lady to call me back but she never did. I'm out over $80 and still don't have a sound system. I can't be the only one who has been affected by that system. I'm sure they are aware of the design flaw. It's sad when a company doesn't support their product. I went to meet them in the middle and paid half price, but the supervisor never called me back.
The power source is corded electric. The 5.1 speakers have over 500 Watts of power. Up to six devices have audio inputs. The remote control has batteries. The warranty is limited to 2 years.
👤I bought these in 2005 and still use them. Quality and years of service should still be available for anyone buying a used set here. It's not nice to see a good product badly rated because someone didn't read the manual or mark it down for what it wasn't intended to do. The system has great sound. I am able to use it for a variety of things. Had to turn the sub down because it was shaking the windows. Many other reviews state that speakers are mountable. The main reason for this review is to let people know that even after 10 years of use, they sound like they did the day I bought them.
👤I bought these speakers in 2010 and they still rock. The speakers survived to the apocalypses, earthquakes, wildfires, racism, zombies, and now Covid 19.
👤Z5500's are the best speakers ever. I have a theater in the bottom of the barn that used to be the Z5500's, but it was replaced by the Onkyo, which sounds ok, but the 5500s are legendary for a reason! They will rock your socks off. I'm sad that Logitech is going smaller, but I'm going to buy them again when I get some scratch together. They are legendary. These guys were designed by a monster genius. seriously...
👤I bought the speaker system on March 12, 2008. The speakers are still the best speakers in the house, and the system was a bargain at $189. I thought I would write a review for this speaker system after looking at some of my older purchases. The central hub for all the satellite speakers is the large and heavy subwoofer. This system is pretty much dead if the subs goes. Controls all your speaker cables is a real challenge, as speaker wires connect to the sub. The satellite speakers produce clear and crisp sounds, and the sub is powerful. This speaker system is by far the best I have had, and I am surprised at how cheap it was. The current price for a new speaker system is on Amazon. I don't know how popular this speaker set is today. It was great to see this speaker system in my purchase history. If you're looking for a 5.1 system and can find a set for $200 or so, I would highly recommend this speaker system. Good luck!
👤I can't believe it's been 10 years since I uploaded the pictures in the gallery. It's the first ones in the gallery. The speakers are still performing well. I can confidently say that this product is one of the best investments I've made. It is a quality product. The value of these has gone up a lot. I wouldn't get rid of mine for that price. The sound quality of music and watching movies gives a live concert and theater experience. There have been many speakers released, but nothing compares to the Z-5500 speaker caliber from Logitech. It was a bargain back then. It's still the king of speakers. The team that produced the Z-5500 deserves a pat on the back.
You can control your listening experience with on-speaker volume and bass dials. Speaker: 5.1 digital surround sound - Listen to your soundtracks in the way the studio intended. Home theater speakers are certified by the THX to provide true cinema-quality sound. The speaker had 1000 watt peak power. Speaker can connect up to six devices. The speaker accessory makes it possible for your speakers to play music from your phone or tablets. You can stream music from up to 15 meters away from your speakers. Plugs into powered PC speakers, home stereo systems and A/V receiver using 3.5mm jacks. This product is not a transmitter.
👤I have been using my old surround system for a long time, and finally found a small hole in it that was causing the sound to decline. I chose this setup because I trust the name of the company, and this set of speakers does not disappoint. I like the fact that the 5 satellite speakers allow you to run your own speaker wire so that you can position them wherever you want in your listening area. The wires for the speakers were permanently affixed to the speakers themselves, so they needed to be extended out to the extreme reaches of a room. I can replace the supplied wires with longer ones, which will make positioning the speakers easier. I like that this surround system can connect to my TV and other audio devices, and that it is easy to pair a telephone or tablets to the speakers to play music from these devices too. I was very happy with the product I received.
👤The first couple of times I used this system, I wasn't thrilled but it has gotten better over time. The sound quality is not good. There's no need to change the speakers to fit a room. I thought there was. I read something wrong. If you set your expectations too high, you could be dissatisfied with the system.
👤I would have sworn a jet landed in my back yard while I was watching a movie. These look great with my decor.
👤I have had a speaker system for a couple days and I am already using the control console.
👤I have speakers for watching movies. The sound quality is good. The inputs are not labeled. The user guide and online guides I have been able to find do not contain the information. Which input is used for the speakers? Which input is used for the rear speakers? Which input is used for the center/sub speakers?
👤Don't buy. Over priced by a lot. It was Greed.
👤Poor quality and warranty are the reasons for the 2 stars. This system is a 5 star system. One of the ports feeding the speakers went out. The speakers and cables are fine. They will not repair it because it's out of the warranty and they don't have a refurbished box to sell us cheap. We only got under six years because the unit provided excellent sound for computer games and music. It's not good enough for a $400 computer speakers system.
A 5.1 speaker system that includes left, right and center channels, 2 rear satellites and a single sub is a true 5.1 surround sound system. 160 Watts of room-filling sound - 160 watt peak/80 watt RMS system with a 5.25 inch bass driver fills your room with incredible sound. You'll get clear highs up to 120 kHz and deep, powerful bass with a speaker system made for Audio lovers. The extra-long 20 foot rear satellite speaker cables allow for optimal placement in living rooms, gaming spaces, offices, bedrooms, just about anywhere you want. They can be set on desks, consoles and end tables, or mounted to the wall. Listen to audio from almost any source, from computers, phones, tablets, TVs, DVD players, and more. You can use a 3.5mm Audio jack or a RCA cable to connect to your device. Satellites have a total of 55 WRMS. With support for 4.2, you'll get better wireless sound quality, with a faster, more reliable connection that can support the audio data of the device.
👤We are remodeling our game room and wanted to add surround sound to our entertainment system. I was happy with the small size. The instructions for installation are easy to understand and read on the carton inner flaps. I was disappointed that there was only one way to connect for surround sound and that it was not included. It cannot do surround. Stereo sound is only provided by Bluetooth. I have to buy an amplifier that will play surround sound. I borrowed a friend's amplifier to try it out. He has a great surround system. I tried the system out with a wireless device. The sound quality is good. The sound is muffled on 2.1 The sound is not great. I have a lot of Logitech products and the Z313 speaker system sounds great on my computer. Good sounding sound separation was offered by the surround sound set up. You can change the sound output to your liking. The surround sound was muffled and a little disappointing. The bass is not defined and it is missing crisp highs. The small sub-woofer can't reproduce a low. The sound is better at low volumes, but you can't hear the voice. When actions hit, the sound distorts and the bass is overwhelmed, if you turn it up to get clear voice. I should have just gotten a Z906. I have a lot of products from Logitech. This is the only disappointment I have. I am still a big fan of the company.
👤The Z606 5.1 speakers and the Gemmy 39127-32 movie screen brought the big screen theater experience to my own backyard, and I missed going to the movies. Thank you so much! I needed that.
👤The speakers are always disconnected from the black and red wire setup. I have had to try and connect them over and over again, but only use the left and right speakers because of the bad connection. Why are you still making this old connection? Most speakers made after the year 2000 can be plugged in. The speakers are outdated by twenty years or more. Plug and play is what you should do with your future products. The bad model sounds ok but can't get surround sound, so I would return them, but the problem didn't start until after a few months, and only two of the five speakers stay connected most of the time. Don't buy these speakers if you want to plug them in. I have set up many speaker systems with bad connections because they don't work, and they don't work because they have ten and black wires.
👤I bought a small bedroom for the z606. I have a sound card and am using it on my computer. If you're worried about not getting 5.1, you can get 5.1 from the rca to 3.5mm, but it's not true. I don't get 5.1 with my newer bluetooth, only 2 speakers work. The wire length is perfect for my small room. The rear speakers are perfect for small rooms. The sound quality and bass from the sub is very good. It's not a bad idea to build your own set up but for 130$ you can't beat the price. I wish they included wires for every rca connection. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. Movies and music are wonderful. I got more rca cables to get true 5.1 sound off my computer, but it sadly did not work. This is the most messed up hardware I've ever dealt with. Save the money and build your own set up slowly with a receiver, amplifier and 2 speakers, then add as you go. This is what I am doing now.
With support for 4.2, you'll get better wireless sound quality, with a faster, more reliable connection that can support the audio data of the device. You can stream your favorite music from any computer, phone or tablet that has a wireless connection. 80 watt of peak power blasts rich, clear and bold sound via satellite speaker set and sub that fits easily in any room. You can hear and feel bass in your games, movies and music. Home speaker system connects to your devices with one press of a button 3.5 millimeter and RCA inputs for a plug and play wired connection to audio devices like your iPod, TV, computer, smartphone, tablet, music player, DVD player, and more. A wired control Pod gives you easy access to all of the above. You can easily adjust the bass level with a single control knob. The number one selling brand of PC speakers is made by Logitech.
👤Some of you are familiar with the Z623 computer speaker system. The best set of computer speakers in the world came out several years ago. The L-R certified speakers were impressive. I own two sets of the Z623 and have been happy with them, but the price is usually $100 to $200. I was amazed that the sound of the Z337 was better than the Z623. I would rate the sets a tie because of the booming subs that blow you away. The L-R speakers are better on the Z337 than on the Z623, no matter how you adjust the settings. The sound is more rich and dynamic than the Z623. The Z337 is less expensive than the Z623. The Z337 is the winner after a side-by-side comparison of the two playing the same songs. I use it as my primary computer speakers and the Z623 for my secondary system.
👤These speakers are wonderful. I wanted to use the speakers to send music from my laptop to the speakers, but I also wanted to use them to play different systems. I have a work laptop that I bring home a few times a month that I also want the sound to send by bluetooth, and I also have a "Plex" server that allows me to play my music from my computer as a server. I have made the Logitech speakers 'wifi' by plugging a Chromecast into the Aux port, and I am very pleased to report that these speakers switch between all these sources without delay, without having to go to any of my devices to change the source. I have had speakers that required me to plug in the aux port in order to hear the source, and that made it difficult to get to the cords and plugs, and on another speaker which had both. Again, PITA. I was looking for something that would handle it. The sound is important to the ease of use and automatic play out from all sources. These sound amazing, have a nice balanced sound from clear highs, and a solid base. I'm not an official audiophile, but I have come to believe that a good solid sound needs a real base, and that's because I've spent a lot of money experimenting with many different speakers. I don't need to shake the house down, but you need a big, strong, and powerful woofer if you're going to hear and feel the full range, even at a soft volume. The Bose bookshelf speakers that do their absolute best to reproduce big sound do accomplish small miracles, but they still don't compare to the feel of the speakers I got. If you just go bigger, you can get a lot more sound for your money. Bose Bookshelf speakers are half the size of Bose speakers, so they don't have the bigger sound that these do, even when volume is low. I moved the Bose to the bathroom. When I want to switch to playing music throughout my home via the internet, I use the Logitechs on the shelf beside my computer, but they kick in and hold their own with the rest of my speaker systems.
Voice assistant input can be used to control your devices through the sound bar with a dedicated 3.5 aux or persistent Bluetooth connection. The Monoprice 5.1-channel Home Theater Speaker System is a must have. Four satellite speakers, a center channel speaker, and an 8" powered subwoofer are included in the speaker system. The speakers come with a black finish. The center speakers use two shielded mid-range cones, while the satellites use one cone and a dome tweeter. Don't let the small size fool you. The speakers can handle up to 125 watt of power from your home theater receiver. The amplifier that drives the downward firing cone is powered by a 60 watt (RMS) amplifier. It can be used with any amplifier, even older ones without dedicated subs. The subwoofer has volume balance controls and can handle frequencies between 50 and 250 Hz. There are four C brackets for mounting the satellite speakers to the wall in the box. A pair of plastic feet are included. You will need to provide your own hardware for mounting the C brackets to the wall.
👤The speakers sounded great for a while. Two months after owning the speakers, one of them sounds tinny and crackles when certain sounds are played through it. The speakers have not been used to play music or movies. Reached out to monoprice twice to find a replacement speaker, but have not heard back. I don't want to buy an entire new set of speakers and I don't want to introduce a speaker other than monoprice into my surround sound system as it will look silly. There is an update. Monoprice stated that they don't offer individual speakers for replacement after many attempts. Unless you want to start mixing different brand name speakers, you are out an entire system if one speaker goes bad. One speaker is bad after two months of use. Not happy.
👤We don't listen to the speakers very loud because they blew within 6 months. We live in an apartment so we're careful about being too loud. Even when it hasn't been used in a while, the sub still gets hot. I tried to contact Monoprice, but couldn't get anyone to respond. It was a major disappointment. The speakers are overpriced for the quality, even though you pay for them. They wouldn't replace the speakers. They wanted us to send the entire system back in at our own cost, then they would eventually get around to sending a replacement. I told them to forget about it because I could replace the speakers for less than shipping. I will never buy from Monoprice again.
👤This is the 3rd set of speakers I have purchased. One for my wife's office and one for a bonus room. The v2015 sets were the ones that were there. They went out of stock for a long time, but recently came back. I immediately ordered a set for my theater as I have been happy with the previous sets. More than happy. The drivers may be made of a different color material. The speakers in the box were separated from the black laminate. The new logo is not great at all, and it is not as pleasing with the grills off. The biggest change was the mounting screw, which has always been a threaded screw. I bought the 6 I needed for my mounting brackets before opening this box. The screw was changed to an M6. Another trip to the hardware store. There are some mounts that have built in threaded rods that will no longer work with these speakers. You can see the differences in the versions here. I'll give them time to break in, which is important with these speakers. The sound is as expected, but the quality of manufacture has suffered. I don't understand why Monoprice can't throw in a bag of the correct mounting screws since they are not the standard size.
👤I don't like the system. I am very impressed with Monoprice. The speakers did not work. I contacted the company and they were very responsive. I received a second sub that wouldn't power on unless you jiggled the power wire and held it in a certain position. They sent me another sub. Many people have said that the one that worked worked, but they don't expect much. In movies, there is no boom or punch. The other two subs are in my garage. The system is inexpensive and works well for a dorm room, apartment or an entry home theater system. I ordered this package again after my experience, but I think Monoprice is a good company.
The Bose 5.1 Home Theater Speaker System has a built in radio and a power amplifier with 700 watt system power. The easy plug and play connections include standard RCA inputs, 6 independent RCA inputs, illuminated display with front panel controls, and a full function remote. The highest quality speaker is a powered one that is 12.3" x 6.7" x 13.1" and has a 20Hz-20 kHz sound quality. Any audio device with a 3.5mm or 6 channel surround audio output is required. For home entertainment, laptop or PC, DVD or mp3 player. The box contains a powered subwoofer speaker, 5 passive wired satellite speakers, a full function remote, and an instruction manual.
👤I read a lot of reviews before buying this item, and I'm confused after opening it. Two words, "Fisher Price". If you don't know what that means, search it. I think they are a manufacturer of toys. This surround sound system is a toy. The speakers have no mounting holes or attachment, the flimsy "speaker wire" comes out of a tiny hole in the back of each speaker, and they are made of what looks like press wood. I bought the item to see if the reviews could possibly be accurate, and to save a few dollars. They did not have the courtesy to clean the thing up before shipping it out to a new customer, which was a waste of time and money. It was disgusting, with dust and food prints all over it. I can't imagine how someone could return something in such bad shape and be okay with it. Some people don't care and have no shame. We have the condition of the item. There were scratches on some of the speaker cones and corners looked like they had been mashed together by someone who had their eyes closed. The wires were wound around the speakers and stuffed into the damaged box, with bits of styrofoam stuck to the speakers. There is a The sound quality is important. I had to climb over the wires that were so short, plugged everything in and turned it on after I tried to place the speaker far away in the correct locations for a true surround sound. The TV speakers had the same sound as the "surround sound" system. Weak. Time and money are wasted. I will be returning this device after I have cleaned it and I think my days of shopping for this type of device on Amazon are over. Disgusted to go to the store.
👤The bad reviews should not be accepted over the good ones. I probably passed up good items because of this mistake. I go with the number of each. There is a trick to these speakers. It worked great with the music on the iPad. It is amazing even. It started to crackle with the tv and ps4 and then it started to play music. I was going to try this and keep the volume low and adjust the speakers. I did the center high, front middle and surround middle. While adjusting the sub. The sound is still great even though they don't crackle with the tv. Unless you want to mess with the different volumes, this is a steal for 90 bucks. That is more expensive, which is understandable. I bought some basic cords from Amazon instead of the cords that came with it. They are like thick rubber, so they might be more insulated. I think they are great. They are a little smaller than the picture. I hear that now, as speakers are now a days. The price is still amazing. The little speakers can't handle as much volume as the outside ones, so be careful with the volume adjustments.
40 to 20 kHz Frequency Response. Frequency directed dual driver technology.
👤I bought this years ago. You might want to know how they held up when you buy them second hand. After 6 years, it still works well. This is a computer 5.1 system. To get the 5.1 from these speakers, you need a desktop with 3 headphone jacks. You need the headphones to the stereo receiver. The speakers sound great. They were $100 when I bought them. This is a $100 amplified system for people who complain about sound. The sound is better than the amount paid. I have a dedicated audio card that you can use with the speakers you put in. They are clear and crisp. The bass response is loud and clean. Your neighbors will listen to your music in your apartment, and I will be more than willing to attend a party. I'm rating them within their price category because they sound amazing for $100 speakers.
👤The first one I bought in 2006 is still working. The problem I had was the result of people tripping over the surround sound cables and making the connections loose. The speakers were a great price and they sounded good. I think I paid $60 back then. The volume controls are a bit loose and awkward to have on your desk since it's something light connected to a heavy cable, but it does the job. If you don't live in an apartment or prefer speakers over headphones, a newer version of virtual surround and gaming headsets is still a great option.
👤For a long time, I had a great 2.1 stereo system with a large powered subwolfer. I added a 5.1 sound card to my PC build last year so that I could get the most out of my 2.1 system. My wife asked what I wanted and I knew it was time to upgrade to a 5.1 surround sound system. The X-540 system got great reviews and was the right price. After a restart, I was able to adjust my 5.1 sound card software to get the most out of the new system. My first impressions are mostly positive. The pros are. The sound is clean and crisp, but I thought it was tinny at first. The sound pros will discuss the details on the other reviews. I like the sound quality of a PC system. The bass is also good. I don't have it set in yet because I'm still playing with the software. You can hang the rotating speaker stands on the wall or stand on the desk. I was surprised to find that the center speaker fit perfectly on the monitor and wasn't in danger of falling off. - The speakers don't buzz when you dial up the volume. I like the wired remote that allows you to adjust the volume, turn on/off, and use a matrix button for PC's that don't have a 5.1 surround sound card. The power switch on my previous system was hard to get, and most of the time I left the power on. I like the fact that the speaker wire is not used for each speaker. The cords are too short. I bought a 25' extension cable to hang the rear right/ left speakers on the opposite wall, but the front right/ left speaker cords should be 8'. The center wire was 8' long. - The speaker grill on the subwolfer isn't there. The subwolfer is sitting on the floor. If you want to poke the speaker with a finger, you have to reach too far under it. Many of the negative reviews for this system are because they don't have a 5.1 sound card. I wouldn't have bought a surround sound system if it wasn't for one. I moved my 2.1 system to my wife's PC because it doesn't have a sound card. I don't think I would use this system for a TV. I prefer a bigger system for my TV than this one. I have an older, more powerful Sony shelf surround sound system that works great with my directv receiver and DVD player. - I hope to be able to enjoy a true surround sound experience once I hang the rear speakers on the opposite wall. The system still sounds great even without the speaker separation.
400 Watts Peak/200 Watts RMS power is used to amplify the 2.1 speaker system. The dimensions of the Subwoofer-130 W. are H x W x D. The right satellite is 8.6 x 4.5 x 5.1 inches. The left satellite is 7.8 inches wide. Control volume and headphones with the control Pod. You can fill your room with a big sound. When you want to feel the beat, the compact sub-woofer is for you. Any device with a 3.5 millimeter input is required. 15 W is the sub-woofer.
👤The older system failed and one channel died. I liked my old system very much. The ability to adjust the volume of the "subwoofer" is missing from this replacement. I don't like the sound of audio with exaggerated bass. If you like bass, you might like this system. I am able to change the frequencies on my PC by messing with the controls, but I prefer the older Logitech "subwoofer". The second problem is that the subsuffer from a very audible hum. I can hear the hum from anywhere in the room even though I tried to place the subs in the wrong place. They are sending me a replacement after I called them. If the replacement doesn't solve the humming problem, I'll look for another one. When I receive the replacement, I will update this review. The replacement "woofer/controller" was installed. It is definitely better, but still hums. I added a star to my review. If the room is quiet and I'm sitting by my computer, I can hear it. It sounds like a transformer or a feedback problem to me. I found the company very responsive to my problem. Thanks to the company, they sent a replacement quickly. I might purchase a small dedicated amplifier with two decent small shelf-speakers to replace the Logitech system as I still find it to bassy for my taste.
👤The sound quality and clarity is impressive. Control module is convenient to allow speakers to be placed in appropriate locations and keep volume/power/headphone controls easily within reach. The speakers and woofer are small and don't take up a lot of space. The control module has nothing to easily keep it in place and it's not easy to create a custom sound device using these speakers. It's possible to reduce the thumpy bass sounds when you don't want to disturb sleeping family members. Attach some sticky pads to the control module to keep it in place on a desk. I'm quite happy to say that these speakers are an upgrade to an older set of 2.1 CyberAcoustics speakers that I've had for nearly 10 years now. I had considered staying with CA to replace my previous set, but I didn't want to spend too much more than $30. The reviews for comparable CA replacements were mostly mixed, and many recommended looking to Creative or Logitech for alternatives. I decided to go with the 2.1 speaker sets since there was an Amazon Prime deal on price and shipping and reviews made a good case for why they were better than the CA counterpart. I was worried that the increase in power output (50W) would result in a dirty/distorted low-end, but that's not the case. Bass sounds are clean and bright.
👤I bought a Bose Companion 2 Series III Multimedia Speakers hoping to get all the sound associated with Bose. I wasn't happy. There was something missing. The speakers I returned produced nice sounds, but that was about it. If you're looking for a cheaper speaker with a theater sound, the Logitech Z313 is the one for you. Wow! I didn't think I'd get that sound out of something that cost $25. Here we are. I'd give it a 20 stars if I could, but I'm not sure what the reviews said. I tried to make the sound louder, but it was too loud. I don't want my neighbor to knock on my door. I will use it daily since it is my first day playing with it, and will update this review as I learn more. There is an update on Wednesday January 22nd, 2020. I had to update the speaker system information after I left it, I didn't know that they don't work with windows 10. It worked when I first connected it to my new Windows computer, which was a Windows 10 OS. No problem. I think my speakers stopped working after an OS upgrade. For a while too. I prepared it for a return. I checked my PC sound settings and it worked. There was another OS update after that. The speakers are not working at the moment. When I looked for a driver online, I saw that this particular set of speakers had an issue. It's great when it works, but do you really want to face this issue every time you do a Windows update? I'm taking 4 of my stars back and changing my rating to just 1 star for that reason.
The power of the sub is 27 watt. 3D stereo in 5.1 surround sound, even from 2 channel stereo sources is compatible. It is easy to connect your PC, game console, iPod, DVD player and more with multiple inputs. 75 wattRMS of balanced power and room filling sound; on speaker bass control lets you easily dial the bass level up or down Refer the User Guide before using if you want to work with any device with a 3.5mm or 6 channel direct inputs.
👤The speakers are nice, but there are limitations. You can't find better ones for that price. Quality is not cheap but it is high quality. The sound quality is good. You will be happy with the sound quality. There is a They are very good looking speakers. There are limitations. The cable is solid. No removing or extending wires. The speakers can't be mounted on the wall. If you are going to give them to the wall behind you, you are out of luck. You need more stuff to make that happen. The wires for the back speakers are 19 feet. Make sure that's enough for your setup.
👤The sound is great at a good price. The sound of the speakers was good. Be careful when handling the bass. You don't want to put your hand through the speaker. The speaker has something on the underside. Handle carefully. Not the bottom. I was lucky enough to read almost all the reviews and remember that one of them mentioned that by doing so, they had ruined their speaker, so I went to grab it by the bottom. I was able to avoid that situation. If you didn't read all the way to any other warnings, I hope you will remember reading my warning. They were easy to set up and sound great for their price range. I highly recommend them.
👤There is a horrible screeching sound coming from the rear speakers in the video I posted with my review. Wait after the first lightning strike. The dialog sounds garbled in them too. The speakers had different zip ties on the cords. I think I was sent a bad one. The bottom fell out when you picked up the box because the seal on it was loose. Going back. I am not happy.
👤I was surprised by the small speakers. I'm using them to setup my computer. They sounded good out of the box but once I set the distance, level, and EQ on my soundcard software they sounded amazing. I used a test disk and a sound level meter to modify settings. In my opinion, the best way to use these speakers is to use them in close quarters so they are not more than 4 feet away from me. I don't think they can be used in a larger room unless you want them to sound small and distorted. The speakers are only a negative. The sound goes from 50hz to 35hz before dying at around 35hz. This is only a small driver in a box, and it sounds good for being a small speaker, but in a full size sound system this would be unacceptable. The bass response shouldn't be a problem if you're only watching or playing a game on your computer. I had to buy a pedestal for each speaker because the rear speakers don't have keyholes for wall mounting.
👤An annoying static sound won't stop. I don't understand why this isn't happening to everyone, but it seems like a large percentage of people are experiencing the same thing. If I can't resolve this issue, I will return for a refund and go with a more reliable brand. One of those brands that was reliable in the past was Logitech. I found out that my issue was related to my console. I decided to take it to another room and plug it in on the floor before I came back. I didn't get any feedback at all. It started again after I brought it back to my console. I don't know why my Xbox causes this, but as long as it's at least a few feet away, it has a decent quality. It's really all anyone wants to hear from the bass and treble. This is kind of ridiculous and I will leave my previous comments.
