The power source is corded electric. The 5.1 speakers have over 500 Watts of power. Up to six devices have audio inputs. The remote control has batteries. The warranty is limited to 2 years.
👤I bought these in 2005 and still use them. Quality and years of service should still be available for anyone buying a used set here. It's not nice to see a good product badly rated because someone didn't read the manual or mark it down for what it wasn't intended to do. The system has great sound. I am able to use it for a variety of things. Had to turn the sub down because it was shaking the windows. Many other reviews state that speakers are mountable. The main reason for this review is to let people know that even after 10 years of use, they sound like they did the day I bought them.
👤I bought these speakers in 2010 and they still rock. The speakers survived to the apocalypses, earthquakes, wildfires, racism, zombies, and now Covid 19.
👤Z5500's are the best speakers ever. I have a theater in the bottom of the barn that used to be the Z5500's, but it was replaced by the Onkyo, which sounds ok, but the 5500s are legendary for a reason! They will rock your socks off. I'm sad that Logitech is going smaller, but I'm going to buy them again when I get some scratch together. They are legendary. These guys were designed by a monster genius. seriously...
👤I bought the speaker system on March 12, 2008. The speakers are still the best speakers in the house, and the system was a bargain at $189. I thought I would write a review for this speaker system after looking at some of my older purchases. The central hub for all the satellite speakers is the large and heavy subwoofer. This system is pretty much dead if the subs goes. Controls all your speaker cables is a real challenge, as speaker wires connect to the sub. The satellite speakers produce clear and crisp sounds, and the sub is powerful. This speaker system is by far the best I have had, and I am surprised at how cheap it was. The current price for a new speaker system is on Amazon. I don't know how popular this speaker set is today. It was great to see this speaker system in my purchase history. If you're looking for a 5.1 system and can find a set for $200 or so, I would highly recommend this speaker system. Good luck!
👤I can't believe it's been 10 years since I uploaded the pictures in the gallery. It's the first ones in the gallery. The speakers are still performing well. I can confidently say that this product is one of the best investments I've made. It is a quality product. The value of these has gone up a lot. I wouldn't get rid of mine for that price. The sound quality of music and watching movies gives a live concert and theater experience. There have been many speakers released, but nothing compares to the Z-5500 speaker caliber from Logitech. It was a bargain back then. It's still the king of speakers. The team that produced the Z-5500 deserves a pat on the back.
A 5.1 speaker system that includes left, right and center channels, 2 rear satellites and a single sub is a true 5.1 surround sound system. 160 Watts of room-filling sound - 160 watt peak/80 watt RMS system with a 5.25 inch bass driver fills your room with incredible sound. You'll get clear highs up to 120 kHz and deep, powerful bass with a speaker system made for Audio lovers. The extra-long 20 foot rear satellite speaker cables allow for optimal placement in living rooms, gaming spaces, offices, bedrooms, just about anywhere you want. They can be set on desks, consoles and end tables, or mounted to the wall. Listen to audio from almost any source, from computers, phones, tablets, TVs, DVD players, and more. You can use a 3.5mm Audio jack or a RCA cable to connect to your device. Satellites have a total of 55 WRMS. With support for 4.2, you'll get better wireless sound quality, with a faster, more reliable connection that can support the audio data of the device.
👤We are remodeling our game room and wanted to add surround sound to our entertainment system. I was happy with the small size. The instructions for installation are easy to understand and read on the carton inner flaps. I was disappointed that there was only one way to connect for surround sound and that it was not included. It cannot do surround. Stereo sound is only provided by Bluetooth. I have to buy an amplifier that will play surround sound. I borrowed a friend's amplifier to try it out. He has a great surround system. I tried the system out with a wireless device. The sound quality is good. The sound is muffled on 2.1 The sound is not great. I have a lot of Logitech products and the Z313 speaker system sounds great on my computer. Good sounding sound separation was offered by the surround sound set up. You can change the sound output to your liking. The surround sound was muffled and a little disappointing. The bass is not defined and it is missing crisp highs. The small sub-woofer can't reproduce a low. The sound is better at low volumes, but you can't hear the voice. When actions hit, the sound distorts and the bass is overwhelmed, if you turn it up to get clear voice. I should have just gotten a Z906. I have a lot of products from Logitech. This is the only disappointment I have. I am still a big fan of the company.
👤The Z606 5.1 speakers and the Gemmy 39127-32 movie screen brought the big screen theater experience to my own backyard, and I missed going to the movies. Thank you so much! I needed that.
👤The speakers are always disconnected from the black and red wire setup. I have had to try and connect them over and over again, but only use the left and right speakers because of the bad connection. Why are you still making this old connection? Most speakers made after the year 2000 can be plugged in. The speakers are outdated by twenty years or more. Plug and play is what you should do with your future products. The bad model sounds ok but can't get surround sound, so I would return them, but the problem didn't start until after a few months, and only two of the five speakers stay connected most of the time. Don't buy these speakers if you want to plug them in. I have set up many speaker systems with bad connections because they don't work, and they don't work because they have ten and black wires.
👤I bought a small bedroom for the z606. I have a sound card and am using it on my computer. If you're worried about not getting 5.1, you can get 5.1 from the rca to 3.5mm, but it's not true. I don't get 5.1 with my newer bluetooth, only 2 speakers work. The wire length is perfect for my small room. The rear speakers are perfect for small rooms. The sound quality and bass from the sub is very good. It's not a bad idea to build your own set up but for 130$ you can't beat the price. I wish they included wires for every rca connection. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. Movies and music are wonderful. I got more rca cables to get true 5.1 sound off my computer, but it sadly did not work. This is the most messed up hardware I've ever dealt with. Save the money and build your own set up slowly with a receiver, amplifier and 2 speakers, then add as you go. This is what I am doing now.
The power of the sub is 27 watt. 3D stereo in 5.1 surround sound, even from 2 channel stereo sources is compatible. It is easy to connect your PC, game console, iPod, DVD player and more with multiple inputs. 75 wattRMS of balanced power and room filling sound; on speaker bass control lets you easily dial the bass level up or down Refer the User Guide before using if you want to work with any device with a 3.5mm or 6 channel direct inputs.
👤The speakers are nice, but there are limitations. You can't find better ones for that price. Quality is not cheap but it is high quality. The sound quality is good. You will be happy with the sound quality. There is a They are very good looking speakers. There are limitations. The cable is solid. No removing or extending wires. The speakers can't be mounted on the wall. If you are going to give them to the wall behind you, you are out of luck. You need more stuff to make that happen. The wires for the back speakers are 19 feet. Make sure that's enough for your setup.
👤The sound is great at a good price. The sound of the speakers was good. Be careful when handling the bass. You don't want to put your hand through the speaker. The speaker has something on the underside. Handle carefully. Not the bottom. I was lucky enough to read almost all the reviews and remember that one of them mentioned that by doing so, they had ruined their speaker, so I went to grab it by the bottom. I was able to avoid that situation. If you didn't read all the way to any other warnings, I hope you will remember reading my warning. They were easy to set up and sound great for their price range. I highly recommend them.
👤There is a horrible screeching sound coming from the rear speakers in the video I posted with my review. Wait after the first lightning strike. The dialog sounds garbled in them too. The speakers had different zip ties on the cords. I think I was sent a bad one. The bottom fell out when you picked up the box because the seal on it was loose. Going back. I am not happy.
👤I was surprised by the small speakers. I'm using them to setup my computer. They sounded good out of the box but once I set the distance, level, and EQ on my soundcard software they sounded amazing. I used a test disk and a sound level meter to modify settings. In my opinion, the best way to use these speakers is to use them in close quarters so they are not more than 4 feet away from me. I don't think they can be used in a larger room unless you want them to sound small and distorted. The speakers are only a negative. The sound goes from 50hz to 35hz before dying at around 35hz. This is only a small driver in a box, and it sounds good for being a small speaker, but in a full size sound system this would be unacceptable. The bass response shouldn't be a problem if you're only watching or playing a game on your computer. I had to buy a pedestal for each speaker because the rear speakers don't have keyholes for wall mounting.
👤An annoying static sound won't stop. I don't understand why this isn't happening to everyone, but it seems like a large percentage of people are experiencing the same thing. If I can't resolve this issue, I will return for a refund and go with a more reliable brand. One of those brands that was reliable in the past was Logitech. I found out that my issue was related to my console. I decided to take it to another room and plug it in on the floor before I came back. I didn't get any feedback at all. It started again after I brought it back to my console. I don't know why my Xbox causes this, but as long as it's at least a few feet away, it has a decent quality. It's really all anyone wants to hear from the bass and treble. This is kind of ridiculous and I will leave my previous comments.
With support for 4.2, you'll get better wireless sound quality, with a faster, more reliable connection that can support the audio data of the device. You can stream your favorite music from any computer, phone or tablet that has a wireless connection. 80 watt of peak power blasts rich, clear and bold sound via satellite speaker set and sub that fits easily in any room. You can hear and feel bass in your games, movies and music. Home speaker system connects to your devices with one press of a button 3.5 millimeter and RCA inputs for a plug and play wired connection to audio devices like your iPod, TV, computer, smartphone, tablet, music player, DVD player, and more. A wired control Pod gives you easy access to all of the above. You can easily adjust the bass level with a single control knob. The number one selling brand of PC speakers is made by Logitech.
👤Some of you are familiar with the Z623 computer speaker system. The best set of computer speakers in the world came out several years ago. The L-R certified speakers were impressive. I own two sets of the Z623 and have been happy with them, but the price is usually $100 to $200. I was amazed that the sound of the Z337 was better than the Z623. I would rate the sets a tie because of the booming subs that blow you away. The L-R speakers are better on the Z337 than on the Z623, no matter how you adjust the settings. The sound is more rich and dynamic than the Z623. The Z337 is less expensive than the Z623. The Z337 is the winner after a side-by-side comparison of the two playing the same songs. I use it as my primary computer speakers and the Z623 for my secondary system.
👤These speakers are wonderful. I wanted to use the speakers to send music from my laptop to the speakers, but I also wanted to use them to play different systems. I have a work laptop that I bring home a few times a month that I also want the sound to send by bluetooth, and I also have a "Plex" server that allows me to play my music from my computer as a server. I have made the Logitech speakers 'wifi' by plugging a Chromecast into the Aux port, and I am very pleased to report that these speakers switch between all these sources without delay, without having to go to any of my devices to change the source. I have had speakers that required me to plug in the aux port in order to hear the source, and that made it difficult to get to the cords and plugs, and on another speaker which had both. Again, PITA. I was looking for something that would handle it. The sound is important to the ease of use and automatic play out from all sources. These sound amazing, have a nice balanced sound from clear highs, and a solid base. I'm not an official audiophile, but I have come to believe that a good solid sound needs a real base, and that's because I've spent a lot of money experimenting with many different speakers. I don't need to shake the house down, but you need a big, strong, and powerful woofer if you're going to hear and feel the full range, even at a soft volume. The Bose bookshelf speakers that do their absolute best to reproduce big sound do accomplish small miracles, but they still don't compare to the feel of the speakers I got. If you just go bigger, you can get a lot more sound for your money. Bose Bookshelf speakers are half the size of Bose speakers, so they don't have the bigger sound that these do, even when volume is low. I moved the Bose to the bathroom. When I want to switch to playing music throughout my home via the internet, I use the Logitechs on the shelf beside my computer, but they kick in and hold their own with the rest of my speaker systems.
The warranty is limited to 2 years. The sound of a crystal-clear audio system. The bass is deep and rich. Satellites have a height of 8.3 x 3.4 x 4.5 inches. 3.5 millimeter inputs are used for easy connections to gaming consoles. There is a jack for private listening. The total wattage is 30W. 30 Watt of power is enough to produce a big, bold full-range sound.
👤I completely turned off the audiophile parts of my personality for this review. It took less than 10 minutes for me to start playing music. It sounds good. These are small speakers for my computer. I have nice speakers on a stereo, but I wanted something for desktop audio to listen to. These look like they will do the job. When they're not being used, they are quite good. There is no hum, buzz, static, high pitched whine, or other noises coming from these when no audio is playing. The are easy to install. The pieces are relatively small, taking up little of my real estate, and the sub is small, fitting easily on the floor. There is a volume control on the sub-woofer. On. There is an easy to use rotating knob for the main volume on the right speaker. When turned clockwise and off, there is a clear "CLICK". The left speaker has no controls. There is a yellow light on the right speaker, which is visible when turned ON. You need to use these speakers. Straight-forward, old-school operation: no internet or wi-fi. Only 3.5mm audio plug or red and white inputs. It will work the same way as speakers for a smart phone or tablets. I have a standing desk with my computer to the left of my monitors. The included cables were not long enough for this configuration. The audio input is only about 5.5' long and it will not reach the far left of my desk. I had to use a 6' extension cable. The audio cable will be too short for many people, even for a normal sitting desk. When you buy these speakers, please consider purchasing an extension cable.
👤The quality of this system is enough to meet my needs and it plays nice with my budget. The rubber feet on the speakers hold a glass desk-top. The small footprint of the subwoofer makes it more powerful. When listening to records and adjusting in real time for the best sound, the bass is the best feature. My computer and turntable are next to each other. When I want to use the computer or turntable, there is no wire play because everything is hooked up simultaneously. I originally bought this system for the turntable, but I made a mistake hooking them up to my computer to test them out, and now I refuse to part with them, they are fantastic for gaming and blow my old dell speakers out of the water. The speakers I threw out were old. I've got them hooked up to both. If I ever decide to move the turntable to a different room, I would buy this system again. This system has been adequate for records and I am very happy with the sound quality as well as the price. I am cautious when adjusting the knob because the speakers are loud. Close neighbors. I find a comfortable setting for the bass on every record I put on. I like adjusting the knob and hearing the improvements it makes. I've become a huge fan of this company's products, because of this system and my old, beastly Logitech gaming mouse.
The 2.1 speaker system is studio-quality audio. The on-speaker controls let you easily dial the volume and bass up or down, while the 200 wattRMS gives you the power to listen as loud as you want. You can plug in up to three audio devices with the help of 3.5mm and RCA inputs. Two satellite speakers and a powerful sub deliver sound big enough to fill large entertainment rooms. You can control your listening experience with on-speaker volume and bass dials.
👤A mixed bag purchase is what this is. Within two days of setting up, my right speaker blew out. I live in the middle of nowhere and it's hard to return to the nearest store. This system is great for video games in a small area. The bass is great during combat in No Man's Sky and the soundtrack is great. I've never spent so much on speakers before and I've never enjoyed good audio. It adds another layer to the game. It is acceptable to play music within 5 feet of the sound, but the further out you go, the more bass it is. Old school rap sounds good, and late 90s metal/rap is good. It is good to follow along with bass heavy stuff. A lot is left to be desired when you switch to jam bands. I am not an audio engineer. I can't say how I am disappointed. If you are out of the range of doing things around the house, you just feel like you are overspending. The right speaker got muffled and sounded broke when Pantera Domination was played at 2 o'clock on a high quality premium paid sub, with audio set to 90% out on the program and speaker volume at 3 o'clock. I can't play anything higher than 12ish on the dial. The cords are short. I built the speakers to barely reach the sides of my curved monitor because the sub was on the floor and the cords were running in the center of the desk. They sit behind the other people. If you live in an 8x10' studio, you should not use the speakers for your main audio system. The positioning is limited by short cords. I was deducted because I can't listen to things at a higher level.
👤The sound is amazing, but it isn't always known for volume. I might have wanted another brand if I had a house. The volume is good, I'm in an apt. And that bass. An A+ in my book. The ones I bought for about $50.00 in 2007, are now over $100.00.
👤I replaced these with my old speakers, the old ones had a volume control issue, but they lasted 7 years before that happened, so if I get 7 or more years out of these, I will be happy.
👤When I first got them, the sound was maxed out on accident, so they shock the house while playing Cold War. The bass knob is very nice. Will update if quality changes.
👤Excellent all-around product with great pricing and shipping time frame actions. Over the years, I've been fortunate to have and use one of the best Logitech sound systems. Superb sound through computer system setup. I added another twin-speaker setup to the mix with great results. Plug-n-play addition to setup.
👤I have no complaints about this product. The sound is good.
👤A manera de introduccin, yo llegu a estas buscando. Desgraciadamente, el sub ms barato estn en una ms de 2500 pesos. No me vendra mal cambiar de bocinas, agregarle un sub con certificacin. La verdad es mucho ms. Is the color negro, me, hubiera ms colores. No tengo. Es barato: lo bueno. Diseo y apariencia resistente. Sonido impresionante, los bajos hasta tienes. Hice varias pruebas y suenan muchisimo.
There are 6 surround speakers. 5.1 channel surround sound. There are knobs on the back of the amplifier. The speakers measure 3.35 x 3.07 x 5.35 inches. The built-in AC power cable was used to power it. The power source is corded electric.
👤This was the lowest price I could find, and I like surround sound. It is pretty good for the price. The sound is good enough for me. I live in an apartment with a paper wall between me and my neighbor, so I won't try to run it at the highest volume. This system fills the room that I watch TV in with sound because it's only ten by ten feet. They have 1 cons. If the nursing home allows me to surround sound, I'll replace the remote if I can't get up and walk six feet to adjust the sound. 2. The back of the subs has the controls on it. They would be easier to reach if they were on the front. This is a good system for the price. If I had been willing to spend more, I might have gotten a better one, but my budget is tight, so I am happy with this one. I would recommend it to someone with a small budget.
👤The house I'm selling is attached to the walls, and the agent told me not to attach anything to them. I bought a cheap system to replace my nice system. I didn't think this was going to be very good. I was mistaken. They sound terrible. My computer speakers are from walmart. If you're on a budget, I wouldn't recommend these because it's likely your TV has better audio output. Don't forget that there is no output or input for HDMI. You're stuck to the same thing. Don't buy unless you understand the experience you're getting.
👤I got these speakers a week ago. It was needed for TV. The TV sound was drowned out by the fans and air conditioning. The speaker wires are a little short. I set up the speakers behind us with a 50 foot audio cord. The sound comes from the front and back. The speaker put out a great sound. The price is great.
👤This may be a good idea to get, but don't get it. We had this for a while before it became a problem. After a while, the sound is bad but we were able to get over it, after that, we couldn't even fix it.
👤It works well. I wanted to use it for my PS4. I was hoping to connect it to my TV. I could control the volume with my tv remote, but it wouldn't work. I bought an accessory for it. It works fine when connected to my PS4. It's a great buy if you have to adjust volume manually. Happy with it.
👤I bought this system twice because of the low price. When 2 channels stopped working, the first one I bought only lasted 3-4 months. I needed a sound system and it was the best price, even though it was out of warranty. I bought it again because it had a good sound. I thought I had a lemon. The second one lasted about the same amount of time as the first. I contacted the company and they wouldn't do anything about it other than give me 40% off another set from their website. It was the same price as it was on Amazon with their 40% off. I could just purchase another one for the same price that I paid for the first two. I asked the lady to call me back but she never did. I'm out over $80 and still don't have a sound system. I can't be the only one who has been affected by that system. I'm sure they are aware of the design flaw. It's sad when a company doesn't support their product. I went to meet them in the middle and paid half price, but the supervisor never called me back.
30 Watt of power is enough to produce a big, bold full-range sound. You can stream your audio entertainment instantly from your phone. You can listen to movies, music and games through your speakers on your iPad or iPhone. It is possible to keep your mobile device mobile without having to wire it to your sound system. Simply pair your phone or tablet to the adapter and you're ready to listen to music. It works with your speakers. Plug in any pair of powered speakers. Also supports almost any other device. Plug the adapter into a receiver or bookshelf using jacks.
👤Other reviewers have already covered the pros and cons of this device, so I will only share my own experience. I bought a similar device from Belkin two or three years ago despite some customer reviews saying it had poor sound quality. The audio quality wasn't just poor, it was terrible. I returned it for a full refund. I gave up on the idea because other devices had the same type of reviews. I had a problem a few weeks ago that was best solved by something like this, but now it's solved with the Logitech receiver. I decided to take a chance and hope the audio quality was not bad. I was pleasantly surprised. The audio quality between my device and receiver is very good. If I want to listen to music and podcasts through quality speakers, I don't have to be tethered.
👤I think the device is awesome, despite what other reviewers said. I have not had any issues with internet service. The living room, kitchen, bath, and master bedroom are on the other side of the home in a 70 foot single wide manufactured home. The device is free and clear of obstructions in my living room, where it is connected to my television. The Master bedroom is on the other side of the dock. I was able to show my device was connected to the Logitech unit while I was in the living room because I was able to connect it to the unit while I was in the living room. I was very excited. The sound quality was great after listening to many songs. The device doesn't really control how it sounds. The device has sound settings. I didn't expect the game and application sounds to be sent to the Logitech unit, but they were. It was great to play Angry Birds through speakers. My stereo receiver and quality Yamaha speakers made the sound like it was split into 5 separate channels. I moved to the far bedroom because the battery was dying and the music I was playing still played despite the signal issue. I had to turn off the bluetooth signal on my tablet because of the team up I had with the Logitech and my device. If you are trying to use the device you are trying to use with, please consider the size of the box when you cut it down. Think about how small the speakers are on these tablets and how the sound hardware built inside may not be all that great. It's possible that the radio isn't strong. I gave it 4 stars because I can't find an on or off switch on the unit. Another device in my house draws power even when it isn't being used. I suppose I could use the power but it would be a hassle. I would tell a friend about it because I think it's a great unit.
👤The limited range of this unit has been mentioned in several reviews. I had to move it to within 8 feet of my Mac in order to pair it. It would sometimes not work. I used the screwdriver to open the unit. The range increased to at least double after removing that piece of steel. I don't understand why an outfit would limit the performance of a product in order to give it a more solid feel. The lower output level of this unit has been noticed by me. I'm using it to stream the music service from my Mac to my audio system in the other room. I have to increase the volume to 1/2 when I switch to the aux input because the volume is only 1/3 for all other audio sources. If you remember to turn the volume down before you switch to any of the other inputs, there's nothing wrong with doing this. The sound quality is degrading. It's acceptable for casual listening, but the sound is not as well defined as it should be and some of the high-end sparkle is missing. You notice the difference when you look at my speakers, which are MartinLogan full range units. If I could find a better performer, I would replace the 3 star rating with something else. I would rather have something like this, but haven't found an acceptable unit yet.
The Bose 5.1 Home Theater Speaker System has a built in radio and a power amplifier with 700 watt system power. The easy plug and play connections include standard RCA inputs, 6 independent RCA inputs, illuminated display with front panel controls, and a full function remote. The highest quality speaker is a powered one that is 12.3" x 6.7" x 13.1" and has a 20Hz-20 kHz sound quality. Any audio device with a 3.5mm or 6 channel surround audio output is required. For home entertainment, laptop or PC, DVD or mp3 player. The box contains a powered subwoofer speaker, 5 passive wired satellite speakers, a full function remote, and an instruction manual.
👤I read a lot of reviews before buying this item, and I'm confused after opening it. Two words, "Fisher Price". If you don't know what that means, search it. I think they are a manufacturer of toys. This surround sound system is a toy. The speakers have no mounting holes or attachment, the flimsy "speaker wire" comes out of a tiny hole in the back of each speaker, and they are made of what looks like press wood. I bought the item to see if the reviews could possibly be accurate, and to save a few dollars. They did not have the courtesy to clean the thing up before shipping it out to a new customer, which was a waste of time and money. It was disgusting, with dust and food prints all over it. I can't imagine how someone could return something in such bad shape and be okay with it. Some people don't care and have no shame. We have the condition of the item. There were scratches on some of the speaker cones and corners looked like they had been mashed together by someone who had their eyes closed. The wires were wound around the speakers and stuffed into the damaged box, with bits of styrofoam stuck to the speakers. There is a The sound quality is important. I had to climb over the wires that were so short, plugged everything in and turned it on after I tried to place the speaker far away in the correct locations for a true surround sound. The TV speakers had the same sound as the "surround sound" system. Weak. Time and money are wasted. I will be returning this device after I have cleaned it and I think my days of shopping for this type of device on Amazon are over. Disgusted to go to the store.
👤The bad reviews should not be accepted over the good ones. I probably passed up good items because of this mistake. I go with the number of each. There is a trick to these speakers. It worked great with the music on the iPad. It is amazing even. It started to crackle with the tv and ps4 and then it started to play music. I was going to try this and keep the volume low and adjust the speakers. I did the center high, front middle and surround middle. While adjusting the sub. The sound is still great even though they don't crackle with the tv. Unless you want to mess with the different volumes, this is a steal for 90 bucks. That is more expensive, which is understandable. I bought some basic cords from Amazon instead of the cords that came with it. They are like thick rubber, so they might be more insulated. I think they are great. They are a little smaller than the picture. I hear that now, as speakers are now a days. The price is still amazing. The little speakers can't handle as much volume as the outside ones, so be careful with the volume adjustments.
You can control your listening experience with on-speaker volume and bass dials. Speaker: 5.1 digital surround sound - Listen to your soundtracks in the way the studio intended. Home theater speakers are certified by the THX to provide true cinema-quality sound. The speaker had 1000 watt peak power. Speaker can connect up to six devices. The speaker accessory makes it possible for your speakers to play music from your phone or tablets. You can stream music from up to 15 meters away from your speakers. Plugs into powered PC speakers, home stereo systems and A/V receiver using 3.5mm jacks. This product is not a transmitter.
👤I have been using my old surround system for a long time, and finally found a small hole in it that was causing the sound to decline. I chose this setup because I trust the name of the company, and this set of speakers does not disappoint. I like the fact that the 5 satellite speakers allow you to run your own speaker wire so that you can position them wherever you want in your listening area. The wires for the speakers were permanently affixed to the speakers themselves, so they needed to be extended out to the extreme reaches of a room. I can replace the supplied wires with longer ones, which will make positioning the speakers easier. I like that this surround system can connect to my TV and other audio devices, and that it is easy to pair a telephone or tablets to the speakers to play music from these devices too. I was very happy with the product I received.
👤The first couple of times I used this system, I wasn't thrilled but it has gotten better over time. The sound quality is not good. There's no need to change the speakers to fit a room. I thought there was. I read something wrong. If you set your expectations too high, you could be dissatisfied with the system.
👤I would have sworn a jet landed in my back yard while I was watching a movie. These look great with my decor.
👤I have had a speaker system for a couple days and I am already using the control console.
👤I have speakers for watching movies. The sound quality is good. The inputs are not labeled. The user guide and online guides I have been able to find do not contain the information. Which input is used for the speakers? Which input is used for the rear speakers? Which input is used for the center/sub speakers?
👤Don't buy. Over priced by a lot. It was Greed.
👤Poor quality and warranty are the reasons for the 2 stars. This system is a 5 star system. One of the ports feeding the speakers went out. The speakers and cables are fine. They will not repair it because it's out of the warranty and they don't have a refurbished box to sell us cheap. We only got under six years because the unit provided excellent sound for computer games and music. It's not good enough for a $400 computer speakers system.
5.1 digital surround sound is what the studio intended. The sub woofer has 165 Watts. Home theater speakers are certified by the THX. Satellites are 4 x 67 W. It can deliver a continuous 500 watt of power, with the ability to deliver a peak of 1,000 watt under certain circumstances. A flexible setup allows you to connect to six devices. You can instantly personalize your surround sound experience with the compact control console and wireless remote. The system needs to work with any device with a 3.5 millimeter jack, six channel direct, digital coaxial input or optical inputs. The signal to noise ratio is weighted.
👤Don't buy. These speakers are not returnable despite saying they are on Prime. I have a 30 day return window and Amazon won't take them back. I was referred to the manufacturer, but they have not responded yet. It should be clearly stated if an item is not returnable. I have not been able to have the return accepted because my speakers are not usable.
👤The speaker set was amazing. The first problem I experienced was three months ago. It stopped working completely and only two lights were visible on the physical control panel. It started working again after I unplugged it. The same thing happened again a few weeks ago. I have tried the same fix many times. After looking through their support site, forums, and searches, it appears that this is common with the product, and Logitech's response has been all over the board, mostly refusing to replace the units. I won't talk about the sound of the device since there is clearly an issue with the design. It's sad to see that there is a clear flaw in these products and that they are not backing them up. This is going to affect my opinion of the company in a negative way.
👤They are a good speaker sound system, but they last about 5 months so you can't return them. After that they start doing a crack and pop sound, you can reset them, but after a while they stop working all together. So my advice is to look somewhere else. This is a known issue but Logitech will not do anything about it so don't buy these. If you are having a reset loop issue, do not try. The speakers are LEMONS.
👤The product does not work. Sound does not play. I can't return it less than a week after buying it.
👤Amazon won't take it back because it's a black hole and they consider it hazardous. I did not get a response from them. Don't waste time or money.
👤I bought this two months ago. The sound quality was amazing. The right front speaker failed after 2 months because of connection problems. I could work around it. The left front speaker has stopped working and the center speaker has stopped working as well. This has been the worst $300.00 I have ever spent on an item, and as a hard working person I don't have the money to flush down the toilet on CRAP like this. Stay away from this. It's a rap.
👤The system is great for money. If not triple, performance rivals system double its price. I did a lot of research before buying it. The looks of the system are the only annoyance. The speakers look like PC desk top speakers, in which they are realistic. You need to get creative in having them work with the appearance of everything in the room, but that is a big deal. Sound and function are excellent. Would buy it again. Subwoofer is small and has a powerful bass that will shake your house if needed.
