The speaker system is just the right size for smaller living spaces.
👤The brand has served me well, so I purchased this to replace the 9YO receiver and 15YO speakers. This system is adequate for an apartment or bedroom. It won't satisfy discriminating movie lovers who want a primary home theater system. It has a passive sub-woofer, which is the biggest problem I have with it. You won't be rattling the windows with this kit. It is excellent if you are watching sports or regular TV. The sound is clear. It works well if you aren't an audio or movie nerd. If you want to recreate a theater experience with your big boom pow pew movies you will find it lacking. The speakers punch above their weight, even though they don't have the warmth of my older ones. I'm fishing all the kid toys and spider eggs out of my old active sub-woofer to see if it improves. I would have paid more for a system with an active sub-woofer if I had paid more attention.
👤There are no regrets about this purchase. I was thrilled with it. I couldn't ask for more, the sound is great, it's easy to set up, and it's user friendly. I am not an expert on sound systems, but I think that other people will be very happy with this system, because I am a typical human female who doesn't expect much from a system that costs less than $300.
👤Happy. The bass and sub bass are great. The sound is good. It's perfect for movies. Powerful. I wish it interacted better with my tv. One month later, I am still very happy. I had 3 moths later and it was much better than the one I had from the other company. All other options are good. It's great for movie nights. I put it on power saving shut off for the times of day it's not used because I was worried about finding it a vampire appliance. It uses about 60w when off.
👤The bass is great with the Polkaudio Sub that I have connected to the amplifier, but I'm not an audio snob, I just take into account that the amplifier doesn't have a subwoofer preamplifier, and the package doesn't have one. The system's subwoofer is useless, it was thrown away. The ones that come with the system are connected to my TV and to my tablet through a wireless connection. I'm very pleased with the audio output, but I don't recommend this system if you don't have a pre-amped sub.
👤I enjoy listening to the sound and video of this system. The setup was very easy and supported by the excellent labels on the back of the receiver and the straightforward menu to personalize the speaker output and sound. I have had instances where the TV picture has turned to static or has completely cut off and the sound has gone off. I can sometimes fix these episodes by changing the source selection back and forth and/or using the receiver to power on or off. I just have to turn it off and watch TV in another room when none of this works. I am afraid that this unit won't be properly serviced until the problem is constant because it doesn't display this problem reliably yet. I apologize for writing a negative review of this system because it does perform well and is good value for money. It isn't completely reliable. The problem I had with this system was suggested by another reviewer. I replaced my HDMI cables a couple of months ago with better quality ones and there have been no problems. I have increased my rating to five stars.

👤I upgraded my receiver for the next generation of consoles, and this thing definitely delivers. It's only giving 3 stars because it's crazy. Adding fans to your home theater equipment is something you should be prepared for. This thing is very hot. If this thing is tucked away, I recommend adding an alternative cooling solution because some of my equipment shuts itself off for thermal protection after installing this. Make sure it has proper air flow here.
👤The biggest negative is that you have to turn the receiver on and then turn the receiver off again. If you select the input on the remote, it turns the receiver on so you have to turn it off again. The life span of the product is going to be shortened. It would be nice if the input was still switched while the receiver was in sleep. The receiver is amazing. This is my first Denon receiver. It is easy to setup. The on-screen prompt on your TV walks you through each step, but it also walks you through how to connect the speakers, what to do with the wires, and so on. A microphone and stand are included in the full system calibration. The setup was easy. The sound quality is amazing. Great range and power. If you don't want to always have your receiver on to watch your various sources, pass through capabilities for HDMI is a must have. It breathed life back into my speakers. The quality of my receiver is very similar to that of my 15 year old one. 8K is amazing. You can control the device from your receiver remote with the help of the internet. It easily connects to iHeart. This system has everything I needed and more. Can't believe the price of this unit is more expensive than others. The internal radio sounds better. It's nice to have a touch on the remote on your phone, but it's clumsy to use at times, and it needs some work. Well done Denon! The remote is made with light plastic and has limited features. It would have been nice to have a higher end remote.

The 5.2 Channel hi fi Home theater receiver gives you 1000 watt peak power and lets you enjoy high quality amplified audio. The Professional Integrated high powered stereo receiver is compatible with today's latest devices, including smart phones, iPad and computers. 4K Ultra HD TV, 3D and Blu Ray video pass through support with dedicated RCA sub output, and connect and stream audio/video from external devices via the included 3 HDMI, optical/digital audio, and USB ports. The Home amplifier has 2 14” mic inputs with independent input source selection. Next Gen Audio has sound processing technology and controls for echo, bass, treble, microphone and volume adjustments. The Home theater surround sound receiver system has a built in digital display and AM/FM radio, as well as a front panel control center.
👤This is my first home theater system. The price point was the selling ticket for me and not wanting to spend a lot having already spent $500 on the klipsch 5.1 reference theater pack. I don't know what the negative reviews are about. You have to use 2 remotes because your tv doesn't support them. It took me less than an hour to set it up. I'm not sure if all the issues people have reviewed about using the ARC function are true, I'm using the cheapest smart tv that money could buy 6 years ago and I am currently experiencing zero issues. The individual channel control allows you to set the speakers to what you want. The microphone is a default option that doesn't change things for you, even if other more expensive models have a microphone to set up the speakers. It would be nice to be able to glide through radio channels without stopping, going to make setting preset a real pain in the butt. I will live because I got what I paid for. The unit's fan is whisper quiet, and the remote gives full operation. I am happy with the price. I might upgrade later. I'll update if anything changes.
👤I bought this unit to be able to use my Bose 701 speakers to output audio from my TV. I am returning this unit because it's 1. I have a dated but working home theater receiver. I used the digital optical to send the audio from my phone to the Bose speakers. I was able to get this unit to work with the TV as well. The basic function of getting audio from the TV to the Bose speakers was accomplished with both the JVC and the Pyle. 2. I was able to control the volume with the help of the Xfinity remote. I had a single remote that allowed me to do everything. The same could not be said for the other person. There was no code that would allow the remote to control the volume. 3. The manual talks about an audio return Channel that will allow audio to be controlled from a single remote. I spent over 45 minutes on the phone with technical support, but they couldn't show me how to connect the unit with other than an optical cable. They recommended using optical and left me with the impression that it doesn't apply to this unit. 4. The display function on the remote and unit is discussed in the manual. There is no button on the remote control. This unit may have other benefits, such as 4K HD integration, but my interest was solely to find a newer receiver unit with the potential of future 5 speaker Dolby that I can immediately use for audio to my pair of Bose analog speakers from the TV and to control it all with a single The receiver can't be used with the remote.
👤If you use the Blue tooth device, the surround channels won't work, so you won't get full 5.1 sound. Unless my receiver is malfunctioning. The receiver shows an error when I try to turn up or down the speakers. I thought it might be my wiring, but I connected the radio to the antenna to see if it would play 5.1 audio. I love the remote's ability to control each channel separately. I really like this receiver.

👤This was upgraded to 4k 120 and 8k 60hz. I was surprised when I ran my RTX 3080 and it was all blackscreen. I ran via EArc and it ran fine. This is a false advertisement from Marantz. I have yet to try out the Xbox Series X or Ps5 but I'm pretty sure it won't work. I am hoping that Marantz will correct this. It's not clear what that would mean for a fix. Don't upgrade and wait for a fix.
👤I purchased this to replace a Pioneer Elite that sounded fine, but I wanted to use the XBox Series X to run my new 8k tv. It doesn't seem to be possible to play it on the XBox from any app, online, or in the UHD format. To get the max resolutions, I have to use the XBox to connect to the tv, and then use the arcs to connect to the audio. I'm not sure if Marantz will have an update to fix the issue. There may never be an update that can fix this issue because I read online more. I feel like this was a huge waste of money. I use all 4K rated 2.1 HDMI cables.
👤I replaced a 20 year old Panasonic home theatre receiver with this one and it was amazing. The clarity is amazing. You can control the app from anywhere. There are a lot of different connection options. I like the option of combining the outdoor speakers with the other channels when entertaining. I am happy with the sound and quality. A great receiver. I highly recommend this product.
👤The 7.2 Onkyo receiver it replaces is a noticeable improvement over this one. The sound is warmer than my old receiver, and it plays my music collection without the tinny harshness that accompanied Apple. The receiver produced a good stereo image with a deep soundstage and the high frequencies were still very clear. The old receiver had a few more watt per channel than the mythos speakers, but it seemed like Marantz was able to squeeze a little more richness out of my speakers. My biggest complaint is that it seems to confuse my TV when I try to use the e-ARC. My TV forgot the optical soundbar settings when I switched to the Marantz. I had to turn off e-ARC because it deprived me of the audio from the TV. Fortunately, Prime doesn't have a built-in Atmos feature, and my player has a separate HDMI port for audio. I had to knock off a star because it was frustrating.
👤I had to replace my pioneer elite receiver after 24 years because it was top of the line. Not like pioneers today. I talked to a few people and they chose the Marantz. The sound quality is far superior to the denon and pioneer elite models. It was not hard to set up. You will be very happy with the end results of this unit.
👤It is easy to set up. Several connections didn't work out of the box. Audio, visual, or both are the losing signals. I was hoping for killer sound and video when I bought Marantz. I was due for disappointment. I tested it on the day it came. Thank you for taking it back. It should have worked well and last a long time. I used other people to connect my home theater pieces when some of them were dead. It was quite frustrating when TV would simply lose its signal. This never happened with any of my previous receivers. The cheaper Denons are definitely made by the same people.
The power of 1000W pee power. The Pyle 5. 2 channel hi-fi home theater receiver is perfect for your home entertainment system. It gives you 1000W peak power, which can be used for speakers and subs. Bluetooth is a cannabinoid. The professional integrated high powered stereo receiver is equipped with a wireless music streamer. It works with today's latest devices with hassle Free receiver pairing. 4K Ultra HD TV, 3D and Blu Ray video pass-through support is provided by the AV digital amplifier box. There are EQ controls. The home amplifier has two mic inputs. Next-gen audioDSP sound processing technology and controls for echo, bass, treble, microphone, and volume adjustments are included. The home theater surround sound receiver system has a built-in display. The front panel control center is integrated over the current, short circuit and over-voltage protection.
👤A review is just an experience. It was bought in October of 2019. No surround sound. Is it possible to have a DVD player and a video output? Not HD? It looks like only a preamplifier. Half of my audio stopped. I contacted the vendor through Amazon. They gave me a website for the return of warranty. The shipping was going to be $30-40 each way, and the forms wanted my credit card, but I spent over $200 on the unit. I could pay return postage. The week will turn around. I decided to either fix it or destroy it. Not likely to buy another. Just my experience.
👤The previous model was great. It lasted about 2 years. We had some issues with the supplier after ordering this one. An issue was quickly resolved after we got an Amazon supervisor involved. It sounds better than the BA model when we get the correct version. The speaker quality is strong. I'm sure we'll enjoy many years of quality sound from our home theater system, we've received 4 replacements so far. The bass-signal lights inop were faulty and had a sticker on the box that said it was the new model. They called their company and were told they had a faulty unit and should call Amazon. On the 4th, Daniel held a 3 way call with the Pyle co. JR lied to Daniel until he realized I was on the call. He said something. Oh yes. I spoke with JR 15 minutes earlier. I called 48 hours later after JR said someone wouldn't call me in 24 hours. Someone would call in 24 hours. I got a call from a lady who said that my antenna was not good and that I should not send another unit. I resisted. The antenna was attached to a receiver. It is fine. I wanted a credit card. She had a 3 way relationship with Amazon. He refused to give us credit. The Amazon rep Eric apologized to me and arranged for a physical pickup at our home, he couldn't believe how the PYLE rep acted. The PYLE should be removed from Amazon's site. The PILE was delivered to our home. Thanks to Daniel and Eric! We ordered a Yamaha from Amazon and it works great with our existing car. Stay away from the products. The product and the support from PYLE are a problem.
👤The ad is not accurate. I was one of the many who fell for the value of this product. If you miss your return window, it's worse. The manufacturer wants you to think about assisting them. It was definitely taken on the chin with this item. There were static and distorted sounds. Don't waste time or money.
👤The power delivery of the Preamp is very good. The cheap Boytone Multi player is combo Cassette, CD, TT, player via the speaker output jacks. Aux. In jacks. This is a very good value for $200. It is sturdy and well built. The falli g is short of 5 stars because of the noise generated by the Pyle. It has a nice bonus, but it is a bit noisey. I haven't tested the Radio orBT functions yet. The controls are confusing and have too many buttons. I can tolerate the unit's Glitzy look with knobs and lights, but it may be a little over the top for some. What are the controls for Bass and Treble? The operating manual is convoluted and offers little instructions. The manual does not show the rear panel of my unit. The remote control's function description is not clear. I am using a self powered Sub Woofer, even though I am using a Pyle Preamp to deliver stereo music from my Bookshelf speakers. The front panel of the Pyle has a volume control knob. I like that. It is doing the job to my satisfaction so far. It's not a Onkyo, Yamaha, Denon, but it's a very satisfactory product for my purpose, and aside from some noise, it doesn't really resonance as you turn up the volume. I also bought a Pioneer XA10 Receiver. After playing it for a while, it started to emit loud noises through the speakers. Triple checked all the connections against the unit but it still delivered a terrible distortion. The Pioneer is going back. The Pioneer was almost indiscernable in its sound and the Pyle had a very loud sound. The sudden crackling and distortion of the unit told me there was something wrong with it. Hope this helps. I'll try to update the review comments after some more use. Stay safe.
There is a playback in the movie. The next-generation audio codec from DTS is called Dolby Atmos and it uses object-based audio to enable new interactive audio experiences. Bluetooth is a company. You can connect your phone, PC, or tablet to the receiver with the help of the technology. Whenever the smart receiver sees an incoming audio stream, it starts playing. DOLBY ATMOS. Without using additional surround or height speakers, the virtual surround and height effect can be created. 5.1.2ch. The personal preset. Press the personal preset button on the front panel for three seconds to change your settings. Up to three preset can be called up from the front panel button or remote control. RANGE CONTROL. You can use the up/down key on the remote control to make independent volume adjustments to the range, including dialogues in films, with this unique mid-range sound control feature.
👤I have a VSX-1130 in my living room and I really like it. I wanted to buy one for my basement, but didn't want to spend a lot. The price is 3 times the price of the 1130 I can't tell the difference in sound. The 1130 has bells and whistles, but the 534 is light and easy to set up. What else would you like? The sound from the 534 blew away the old Onkyo I replaced. Very happy. I would have gotten the 534 instead of the 1130 if I could do it over. Very happy. I replaced my old receiver with a cheaper one in my living room. It sounds better. Still very happy with it.
👤This is a fine piece of equipment if you don't need to use the HDMI connection to your TV. I needed the ARC capability when I bought this to use with my new TV. When the receiver is turned off, the signal will pass through. Problems exist with it on or off. I have a satellite input to the receiver and the ARC connected to it. There is an audio delay when you pause a tv show and start again. When you channel surf or change channels, the output to the tv becomes scrambled and you will lose the output altogether. I had to stop using the tv receiver because it was so bad. It took me a while to realize that the problem was the AV receiver and that I should have connected the tv directly to the satellite box. I missed the 30 day return so I'm stuck with the problem.
👤If you have small space, you're a great receiver. I own a huge Pioneer VSX that is twice the size and weight of the 534. If it's too big to fit in a cabinet. If there is plenty of power and features, a smaller surround can fit anywhere. Unless you wire the unit to the TV to complete setup, you cannot get out of setup mode. I didn't want to use the receiver to run my TV. I only wanted to use an optical connection. I had to run the TV, DVD and Echo through the receiver after the TV prompt. The main front speaker connection allows for 14 gauge wire while the center and back channels speaker ins only allow 16 gauge wire.
👤I wanted to test this receiver out for a while before I submitted a review. I'm very happy with this Pioneer. This was a great upgrade to my old Kenwood 5.1, which did not support the new DTS, and which was replaced by a slightly newer Yamaha that bit the dust after a power surge. I don't like to listen to music but I do like the fact that a receiver can belt out music and a picture with no distortion. The receiver delivers on both fronts. Older and newer CDs are clear. The dialog is clear while the movies boom through my subs. I wish they put a second slot on the front of the device for quicker, more convenient firmware updates and simple mp3 players. Follow the instructions carefully. The website gives more information on the steps, but they require you to turn off HDMI. If you need a receiver in a pinch, this Pioneer is worth the money because it is well worth the money. I put a couple of AC fans on top of the receiver to keep it cool. The previous Yamaha I owned was so hot I could fry an egg. I'm not taking any chances with this one. This application is where the receiver shines, because I bought an Lg UBK80 4k player. The sound of Ex Machina was amazing, with clear dialogue and booming lows of the soundtrack. The explosions boomed when I watched the 4k version of Aquaman. When the Atlanteans shot off in the ocean, my room shook. I am using a Sony sub and a Yamaha sub with Bose surround sound. The receiver made everything shine. For the first time, I could tell that I had surround speakers.
You can enjoy your favorite movies, TV shows and more in the comfort of your home with Cinematic Sound at Home. S Force PRO delivers virtual surround sound with only a 2 speaker setup. You can use your phone to stream music and use a Standby turn on the receiver. A multi function system includes a multi channel stereo setup, a radio tuner and a headphone jack. There are 4 stereo Rca audio inputs and 2 digital audio outputs. In the box is a microphone, remote control, batteries, and a wire antenna. Also, note: Installation Manual and User Guide can be found in the catalog. Also, note: Installation Manual and User Guide can be found in the catalog.
👤I never leave a bad review, but this receiver did not allow for the full experience of the game. If I plugged my TV into my XBOX One X, it would be capable of playing both video and gaming. The build quality is good, but the lack of AUX-in was disappointing. I picked up the Yamaha after returning the Sony. It's $50 cheaper, has tons of more features, and has an AUX-in feature that I've wanted for years, and it passes the tests of both Dolby Vision and HDR10 correctly. Pick up the Yamaha, you'll be happy you did.
👤I put together a simple 5.1 surround system in my small den based on a Yamaha amplifier that started to go a little weird - it would turn itself on and off, sometimes wouldn't allow volume control from a remote, and sometimes wouldn't have picture resolution dropped. The sound was pretty decent. I decided to swap out the amplifier for the Sony one. Wow, what a change! It was easy to set up and calibrate. The sound stage is very detailed. It makes my speakers sparkle with clarity and crispness. I'm not a snob and my ears can still see a huge improvement in movie watching at a cheaper price. You will like this amplifier.
👤Great inputs. Good power. 60hz pass through. The enhanced HDMI option can be enabled. Arc control. I like it. The surround left channel is dead. The receiver died not even two years after the event. I'm disappointed, and that's coming from a Sony fan. My last receiver was from Sony. This was brought down from 5 stars to 2 by me. I think I'm buying a Denon.
👤I have an old entertainment system with a center and surround set that I use this unit to drive. The unit sounds good even with questionable speakers. I listen to my music on my phone. I use it. I know that makes many people cringe. I used the automatic calibration to set this up. Mozart's 25th was put on by selected music surround. My wife could hear how much better this setup was. Everything was in balance. It had a rich sound and clear highs. The surround did not sound fake. It was like sitting in an orchestra pit. It sounded great to have DVDs and cable TV. I can't hear the voices. The Movie HD-Digit setting is clear and easy to understand. There is a night mode that makes it easier to understand voices. The unit works great out of the box. It is powerful enough for a small home office, and I have it set up there. If you want to annoy the neighbors, you might need a bigger unit. I am very pleased with this purchase, and I love it.
👤Sony got it right. The receiver has 4K and HDR pass-through. The inputs are 2.2 compliant. It is easy to set up. The power is at 145W per channel. It will expand to 5.1 soon if you hook it up to a couple BIC tower speakers and a Dayton Subwoofer. There is no rush because the Front Surround feature really makes 2.1 sound like real surround. I couldn't be more happy with my purchase because it's heavy and built like a tank so it should last. The seller was praised for ordering on Monday and being delivered on Wednesday.
155 watt per channel. 4K/60p and HDR are supported. The film is called x-play. The height virtualizer and the DTS virtual are included. The accureflex and the accueq have subs.
👤Gamers! If you can't get 4k or 10 to pass through your system, you can use the power button to enhance the channel. Where in the manual do they tell you this? Hold the dvd button down and you will see the receiver switch from std to ench. Your welcome!
👤I wanted to upgrade from my stereo receiver to an A/V system after purchasing a new TV. I decided on this model after doing a lot of research. I had it for about two weeks. The sound is amazing with my Yamaha 5.1 speaker system. I would like to address some things. I went through the initial setup process and realized that my sub wasn't working. I tried to set it up again and realized that on the first screen it shows the sub but not on the subsequence screens. I called tech support and it was answered in under two minutes. This response was typical of every call I made. I was told to return it after walking through the setup. I decided to try a few things first. I thought the speakers were out of phase because I had a hard time figuring out which wire was the negative wire. I turned the amplifier up. It had been the same for a long time. The issue was fixed by one or both of these things. I don't think I'm getting all the sound possibilities listed for this unit. Tech support says it's my device. The 4K Amazon firestick should be able to provide all of those sources. The remote. The remote is moving. The receiver has four HDMI ports. The buttons on the remote correspond to the ports. "TV" is listed on one of the buttons. I want to go to live t.v. when I watch the firestick. The t.v. button does nothing. I have to change the input on the receiver remote by putting it down. To get back to the firestick, I have to change the input on the t.v., pick up the remote and push the correct button. On my old system, I could just hit "return" and it would return to the last item used. It's difficult when you are flipping back and forth. I called tech support and was told that the remote was not a universal one. He couldn't explain why the buttons were there. I don't know what the other buttons are for, since I only got a quick start pamphlet. The most important part is that it delivers great sound, superior to my stereo system.
👤This is a budget receiver. I didn't want a lot of bells and whistles to get lost in, just something simple and intuitive. You need to learn about the sound adjustments and experiment with them. I have a 2.1 setup with two large towers and a 10-inch sub. I prefer to set up the sound myself rather than using the supplied microphone. The Level Calibration allows you to adjust the volume of each speaker set. The line-level out port is something I like about this receiver. That adds to the flexibility of the unit. I use that port to connect my headphones. The remote control is easy to use. I recommend this receiver to anyone looking for a low-cost option that doesn't require a lot of bells and whistles. It is easy to use and sound good.
The sound at home is comparable. You can enjoy your favorite shows and movies in the comfort of your home. Multi-dimensional and object-based surround sound is delivered by the two audio companies. 4K quality with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, and hybrid Log Gamma provides greater and clearer color, contrast, and brightness. Get connected with 4 in/1 out HDMI each and 1 optical and coaxial digital and analog audio connections. The auto calisbration is done. Advanced D.C.A.C. adjusts the audio in every room. The smarter connected. You can use your phone to turn on the receiver. The receiver is 5 feet tall to fit into most cabinets.
👤I would recommend this receiver to anyone that is looking for an entry level receiver for a basic setup. There are a few quirks that you should know about before buying. 1. There isn't support for HDMI. This might not matter to most people, but it should be mentioned. If you don't know what CEC is, it allows devices connected to the receiver to turn the receiver off and on at the same time. The process of calibrating is terrible. I've tried different mics in different places, but they all sound terrible. It always sets the subs to the lowest setting and messes with the distances between the speakers. You will end up with a better sounding system if you just do all of that yourself. I'm using this receiver in a 5.1 setup. The setup sounds pretty darn good after I adjusted it. I have no issues with a 2016 4K Samsung TV and an Apple TV 4k.
👤I was surprised that there wasn't a feature for eARC. I realized my purchase was outdated after checking Sony's website. To upgrade to the latest version of the software. The eARC feature is provided by 1.171 for the STR-DH790. If you want to enable the feature on your PS4 you will need this software. The Sony site explains why you should care about eARC, and how the new eARC feature adds support for the latest audio formats. The eARC feature allows you to enjoy object audio content that cannot be transmitted with the ARC function. This doesn't support the CEC, according to someone in an earlier review. You may need to enable it on your TV to get it to work, for example the TCL 6 series requires you to enable it in the TV settings. It sounds great and it looks great. I updated to the new high speed Amazon cables and they passed through everything just fine. Older cables may not support the higher GBPS. I love that this supports both. The price is a great value. The user interface is a Cons. It sucks. Sorry. The on Amp Menu is very quirky to navigate and not very user friendly. The plug for calibrating the speakers was useless and gave me random errors on my speakers even though they worked well.
👤This unit is referred to as a 7.2 RECEIVER. It is not. They told me it was 7.1. There is a printed version of 7.2 in the sales material. There is a false advertisement.
👤Everything works without a problem. There is more than enough speaker for an indoor home application. The $1200 denon ffs are not worth it.
👤This is the first receiver I have ever bought. The cheapest 4k receiver that supports dolby atmos was this one. It's only $200. I don't need chromecast or anything in the $500 models because I am hooking this up to a computer. I have a set of 10 year old 5.1 pioneer speakers that I have from my old ps3 and xbox 360 audio rig. They were connected to the Sony receiver. What a difference a receiver makes. Those speakers sound better. I give it an A for sound quality. I don't like the fact that when I change it to radio, it will turn the output of the TV off and you have to go to the radio page. I connected it to my computer. I can't listen to the radio at the same time as I surf the net. I have a $200 sound card in my computer. The sound is better from the sound card. For playing games and listening to music, I'll use my sound card, but you need to use a hdmi cable. I picked this up instead of the logitech. It was very close to getting the logitech. I've been using it for over 10 hours and the heat it emits is barely noticable. I believe my breathe creates more heat than it does.
The 300 watt peak power of the Pyle Digital AM/FM stereo receiver makes it perfect for your PA, karaoke and home entertainment system. The personal digital amplifier box has 8 inputs, 2 microphone inputs, 2RCA inputs, 2 speakers, and a CD player. The Integrated Indoor house stereo receiver has a hassle free receiver and works on today's latest devices. The sound amplification device has buttons for audio sources and a button for the mic, which are illuminated in the dark. The amplifier has a built in digital display meter which displays all the functions and input used, and also includes a remote control for distant audio adjustments.
👤I got this to use as a replacement stereo for an old unit that stopped working and also to make a cheap rig to jam my bass at home. I had to take my real rig back and forth from the jam pad. This isn't pro equipment, and I'm rating it as a low budget gadget. The sound quality is pretty good and the stereo is loud enough for where I'm at and what I need. There were no complaints about sound quality. It was better than I expected. It has a built-in fan that is a little noisy if it goes, but it's not an issue to me. It's pretty handy. I use it to learn and play music. When I'modling around, I've hooked up some drum loops to play along with. The bass sounds decent. I usually don't push it hard. Making the thunder is half the fun. I got a pretty gnarly tone after messing with the EQ and was rattling every window in the house. It's not something I would take to a gig, but it's great for making noise and playing at home or to get a jam session with friends. I got more bang for my buck than I would have gotten if I had bought a combo practice amplifier. I may use it to record a home recording. I might not mess with it. I think it's cool that it's there. You can plug into this thing, too. I've had it for a month or so and it's been great. I got it for certain uses. I got this as an open box, like a new deal. I didn't have high hopes because it seemed too cheap. I'm going to give it a 5 star because it's too good to be true. I hope it doesn't stop working in a couple weeks and make me come back to take away the praise I'm Pyling on. What did I do there?
👤This amplifier had been given 5 stars before. This review is being graded to 1 star. The on/off power button has a short in it. The power button needs to be pressed many times. I purchased this unit on August 28, 20 and it malfunctioned on October 25, 20. The manufacturer has given me a warranty. I attached the receipt to the previous email as you requested in response to the 3rd email from the customer service warranty dept. My name is not e on the end. It is not Michael. Your product has been reviewed by me on Amazon. I recommend that no one buy this product or any other product from Pyle since it stopped working 8 weeks after it was purchased. The lack of a customer service warranty department gave me the run around to resolve the issue with the receiver. You can ignore the warranty request. We bought a Yamaha receiver after we put the Pyle one out for trash. The Yamaha should have been purchased first. This is what happens when you buy a cheap product from a company that doesn't have a track record of quality. Thanks for nothing. I contacted Amazon customer service and they gave me a discount via Amazon gift card to use on my next purchase. I would like to thank Amazon for taking care of me.
5.1 channel surround sound. There is a wireless connection. The output power is rated. 100W, 8 ohms, 0.9% THD. 70W (8 ohms, 0.05% THD) is the rated output power and the maximum effective output power is 1ch driven. HDCP 2.2 (4 in/1 out) with HDMI 2.1. 4K Ultra HD support, and hybrid log gamma. Yamaha Cinema DSP technology supports the play of HD Audio, providing natural and expansive sound. The receiver supports 4K video at 60 frames/second pass through and also supports high Dynamic Range video, which provides incredible contrast, smooth tone and rich colors.
👤After buying a 65" tv, finding out the picture is great, but speakers are bad, and then buying a sound bar to improve audio on cable tv, I decided to buy a Yamaha amplifier with the Yamaha NS-SP1800BL 5.1 CH. The Yamaha is a must have for audio and I would recommend it to everyone for a low price for a 5.1 surround sound system.
👤I have been using this receiver daily since I purchased it a month ago. The sound production is very good. I have 5 in-wall speakers all 100W connected to it and just putting it at 0 sound, which is about as loud as I would want it. I'm not happy with the wire nut connections on the back, but that doesn't seem to be unusual for these types of receivers. I like the option that makes it wire-free. I assume that my phone would work for other wireless devices. There are many program modes that allow you to choose different types of sound. Will try to expand the use of the receiver to do more than just control it to reduce the number of devices in my hand. I don't know if I have many options since my stuff is all from the same company. There are a lot of plug-in options on the back. The bottom of the unit gets extremely hot when it's turned on, which is one of the reasons I have a less than 5-star rating. It's so hot that I'm almost afraid of a fire danger if there were some flammable dust particles that floated under the unit or at a minimum caused heat damage to my entertainment shelving. The feet of the unit are large enough to allow air to pass through, just hope it doesn't create any problems.
👤Awesome receiver! This receiver works great with my projector and speakers. The setup with the mic was really cool. Very happy. I researched a lot and I am happy that I got this one.
👤The unit failed after 2 years. It stopped working and wouldn't turn on again. Resetting didn't help. After 3 attempts to reset, the display showed DC PRT 023, indicating a power failure. Repairs cost less than the price tag. It was thrown in the trash. Now a single star. There is a person who says that there is a person who says that there is a person who says that there is a person who says that there is a person who says that there is a person who says that there is a person who says that there is a person who says that there is It outputs slightly amplified sound through the speakers. I had to turn my sub up to near max because it was too weak to even drive a powerful self-amplified sub. Not true 5.1 surround. Light weight, got tiny heatsinks inside. I'm pretty sure the capacitors aren't of good quality. There are no real options for fine tuning the useless preset. This is for people who can't tell between Mono and Stereo.
