1. Bluetooth Home Audio Amplifier System

Bluetooth Home Audio Amplifier System

Powerful 750 watt motor. The 750 watt peak power of the 6 channel home audio amplifier can be used for multi speakers and allows you to enjoy high quality audio. It's perfect for your home theater entertainment. Bluetooth capital is available. The personal portable digital amplifier box is compatible with today's latest devices including laptops, tablets, and phones, as it is equipped with a hassle-free receiver. There are multiple intrusions. The integrated indoor stereo receiver has a built-in FM radio with a digital display and audio input. Also has 2 14” microphone inputs. There is a talk-over function. The professional sound amplification device has a MIC talk-over function which will temporarily stop the current music or audio being played. This function is used in announcements. Integrated equity: The amplifier has buttons for the audio sources, a knob for mic and master volume, and a button for the selectors. A remote control is included in the package.

Brand: Pyle

👤The volume knobs are difficult to use. It takes quite a while before the sound comes out, and it's almost impossible to find the volume that I want, because the volume starts increasing so fast. The knob changes the volume very little when it gets to a certain level. The instructions are not any better than the remote. Trying to figure out how everything works. The included FM antenna isn't good at all, and there are no external antenna hookups. There is no timer shut-off function. I've been unable to get the features to work. There is a The user manual is poorly translated and offers little information beyond restating the unit's features and no guidance as to how to manipulate them. The ability to select inputs on the display with the buttons or the remote does not play well together. I can't change inputs without adjusting them. The remote only works to turn the volume off when listening to the radio and not AUX, and only when listening to the radio and not AUX. The remote volume increment is wildly inconsistent. Sometimes there is an increase of one increment and no change, and sometimes there is a big change with Dash going from volume to two volume. There is little to no control over this piece of junk unit, it is loud and not subtle. The local stations must've been scanned and saved by the radio station, which is good, but after a while of trying to figure out how to set the preset, it's difficult to pick up. I only added preset of static. There is no service for customers. Customer service is not poor.

👤I like the receiver. I've been looking for a compact multi-channel stereo amplifier for years that will fit into a shallow cabinet in my hallway and allow separate speaker zone control with ease. I like the separate volume controls for each channel. I have a shop with one channel running speakers, another running speakers on my patio, and a fourth running speakers in my living room, but I will eventually use another channel to run speakers in my kitchen and possibly a pair in my living room. It was easy to setup. I have had some issues with the unit, but it probably has more to do with my phone than it does. There are only two suggestions to improve this unit. The location of the sub-woofer outputs on the back of the jack is indicated in the instructions, but they don't give any details about them. I don't know if the sub-woofer outputs us dedicated to a specific channel or if it is shared across all six channels. Adding an explanation to the User Manual would be great. I have limited range when using the connection. I know that the problem is mostly due to my placement of the amplifier within a cabinet and the fact that there is an exterior wall between my phone and the amplifier. The extendable antenna is basic and functional, but it doesn't seem to be something that could be upgraded. It would be nice if the antenna on future product versions were removed and replaced with an upgraded or powered/amplified antenna, like the way they can be in a wireless device. I'm satisfied with the product and look forward to using it. If anyone is interested, I will update this post with my findings once I find the time to connect a sub-woofer. When I have my patio speakers running on Channel A, the sub-woofer I have connected in my shop is playing even though the shop speakers on Channel B are turned all the way. The design is not the best, but it's still a great unit.

2. Sony STR DH790 7 2 Ch Receiver Vision

Sony STR DH790 7 2 Ch Receiver Vision

The sound at home is comparable. You can enjoy your favorite shows and movies in the comfort of your home. Multi-dimensional and object-based surround sound is delivered by the two audio companies. 4K quality with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, and hybrid Log Gamma provides greater and clearer color, contrast, and brightness. Get connected with 4 in/1 out HDMI each and 1 optical and coaxial digital and analog audio connections. The auto calisbration is done. Advanced D.C.A.C. adjusts the audio in every room. The smarter connected. You can use your phone to turn on the receiver. The receiver is 5 feet tall to fit into most cabinets.

Brand: Sony

👤I would recommend this receiver to anyone that is looking for an entry level receiver for a basic setup. There are a few quirks that you should know about before buying. 1. There isn't support for HDMI. This might not matter to most people, but it should be mentioned. If you don't know what CEC is, it allows devices connected to the receiver to turn the receiver off and on at the same time. The process of calibrating is terrible. I've tried different mics in different places, but they all sound terrible. It always sets the subs to the lowest setting and messes with the distances between the speakers. You will end up with a better sounding system if you just do all of that yourself. I'm using this receiver in a 5.1 setup. The setup sounds pretty darn good after I adjusted it. I have no issues with a 2016 4K Samsung TV and an Apple TV 4k.

👤I was surprised that there wasn't a feature for eARC. I realized my purchase was outdated after checking Sony's website. To upgrade to the latest version of the software. The eARC feature is provided by 1.171 for the STR-DH790. If you want to enable the feature on your PS4 you will need this software. The Sony site explains why you should care about eARC, and how the new eARC feature adds support for the latest audio formats. The eARC feature allows you to enjoy object audio content that cannot be transmitted with the ARC function. This doesn't support the CEC, according to someone in an earlier review. You may need to enable it on your TV to get it to work, for example the TCL 6 series requires you to enable it in the TV settings. It sounds great and it looks great. I updated to the new high speed Amazon cables and they passed through everything just fine. Older cables may not support the higher GBPS. I love that this supports both. The price is a great value. The user interface is a Cons. It sucks. Sorry. The on Amp Menu is very quirky to navigate and not very user friendly. The plug for calibrating the speakers was useless and gave me random errors on my speakers even though they worked well.

👤This unit is referred to as a 7.2 RECEIVER. It is not. They told me it was 7.1. There is a printed version of 7.2 in the sales material. There is a false advertisement.

👤Everything works without a problem. There is more than enough speaker for an indoor home application. The $1200 denon ffs are not worth it.

👤This is the first receiver I have ever bought. The cheapest 4k receiver that supports dolby atmos was this one. It's only $200. I don't need chromecast or anything in the $500 models because I am hooking this up to a computer. I have a set of 10 year old 5.1 pioneer speakers that I have from my old ps3 and xbox 360 audio rig. They were connected to the Sony receiver. What a difference a receiver makes. Those speakers sound better. I give it an A for sound quality. I don't like the fact that when I change it to radio, it will turn the output of the TV off and you have to go to the radio page. I connected it to my computer. I can't listen to the radio at the same time as I surf the net. I have a $200 sound card in my computer. The sound is better from the sound card. For playing games and listening to music, I'll use my sound card, but you need to use a hdmi cable. I picked this up instead of the logitech. It was very close to getting the logitech. I've been using it for over 10 hours and the heat it emits is barely noticable. I believe my breathe creates more heat than it does.

3. Pioneer VSX 534 5 2 Ch Virtual Bluetooth

Pioneer VSX 534 5 2 Ch Virtual Bluetooth

There is a playback in the movie. The next-generation audio codec from DTS is called Dolby Atmos and it uses object-based audio to enable new interactive audio experiences. Bluetooth is a company. You can connect your phone, PC, or tablet to the receiver with the help of the technology. Whenever the smart receiver sees an incoming audio stream, it starts playing. DOLBY ATMOS. Without using additional surround or height speakers, the virtual surround and height effect can be created. 5.1.2ch. The personal preset. Press the personal preset button on the front panel for three seconds to change your settings. Up to three preset can be called up from the front panel button or remote control. RANGE CONTROL. You can use the up/down key on the remote control to make independent volume adjustments to the range, including dialogues in films, with this unique mid-range sound control feature.

Brand: Pioneer

👤I have a VSX-1130 in my living room and I really like it. I wanted to buy one for my basement, but didn't want to spend a lot. The price is 3 times the price of the 1130 I can't tell the difference in sound. The 1130 has bells and whistles, but the 534 is light and easy to set up. What else would you like? The sound from the 534 blew away the old Onkyo I replaced. Very happy. I would have gotten the 534 instead of the 1130 if I could do it over. Very happy. I replaced my old receiver with a cheaper one in my living room. It sounds better. Still very happy with it.

👤This is a fine piece of equipment if you don't need to use the HDMI connection to your TV. I needed the ARC capability when I bought this to use with my new TV. When the receiver is turned off, the signal will pass through. Problems exist with it on or off. I have a satellite input to the receiver and the ARC connected to it. There is an audio delay when you pause a tv show and start again. When you channel surf or change channels, the output to the tv becomes scrambled and you will lose the output altogether. I had to stop using the tv receiver because it was so bad. It took me a while to realize that the problem was the AV receiver and that I should have connected the tv directly to the satellite box. I missed the 30 day return so I'm stuck with the problem.

👤If you have small space, you're a great receiver. I own a huge Pioneer VSX that is twice the size and weight of the 534. If it's too big to fit in a cabinet. If there is plenty of power and features, a smaller surround can fit anywhere. Unless you wire the unit to the TV to complete setup, you cannot get out of setup mode. I didn't want to use the receiver to run my TV. I only wanted to use an optical connection. I had to run the TV, DVD and Echo through the receiver after the TV prompt. The main front speaker connection allows for 14 gauge wire while the center and back channels speaker ins only allow 16 gauge wire.

👤I wanted to test this receiver out for a while before I submitted a review. I'm very happy with this Pioneer. This was a great upgrade to my old Kenwood 5.1, which did not support the new DTS, and which was replaced by a slightly newer Yamaha that bit the dust after a power surge. I don't like to listen to music but I do like the fact that a receiver can belt out music and a picture with no distortion. The receiver delivers on both fronts. Older and newer CDs are clear. The dialog is clear while the movies boom through my subs. I wish they put a second slot on the front of the device for quicker, more convenient firmware updates and simple mp3 players. Follow the instructions carefully. The website gives more information on the steps, but they require you to turn off HDMI. If you need a receiver in a pinch, this Pioneer is worth the money because it is well worth the money. I put a couple of AC fans on top of the receiver to keep it cool. The previous Yamaha I owned was so hot I could fry an egg. I'm not taking any chances with this one. This application is where the receiver shines, because I bought an Lg UBK80 4k player. The sound of Ex Machina was amazing, with clear dialogue and booming lows of the soundtrack. The explosions boomed when I watched the 4k version of Aquaman. When the Atlanteans shot off in the ocean, my room shook. I am using a Sony sub and a Yamaha sub with Bose surround sound. The receiver made everything shine. For the first time, I could tell that I had surround speakers.

4. Wireless Home Audio Amplifier System

The sound amplification device has buttons for bass, echo, mic, tone and source input mode. A remote control is included in the package.

Brand: Pyle

👤I own a PYLE and it's great. The sound is nice. We moved to a new house and I needed more than two zones, so I bought this one. It looked and read like my old one, but it has a sad and hidden issue. There isn't a stereo sound. Both Amazon and Pyle describe it as a stereo system. After six months, I notice a song doesn't play in the right and left channels. I realized I was sold a false product when I looked into it more. The owers manual says "stereo". But! The front panel of the product says "radio" in a very subtle and incorrect way. I reached out to Amazon after I wrote Pyle. The product description is correct because no one else complained. There is bad business on both ends. I was referred to Amazon's specialized team by a friend. I was told to take it with me. They have no responsibility for the false description. Don't buy if you're warned.

👤I have built-in ceiling speakers, 20 watt 8ohm, in 6 zones throughout my house, but no amplifier left by previous owners. I found this product and read a few pages of reviews and found that many people were complaining about minor quirks. I assumed I would just leave my device plugged in while guests were gone. The Trigger was pulled. It was new and wrapped in a box. It came with a built-inBT antenna, a plug-in FM antenna wire, and a basic labeled manual. It works well. Exactly what I needed. All of the nearby rooms have my bluetooth reach from them. I have the ability to control each volume on my own. Press MODE until it says something. Blue. It showed up on my phone when I turned the dial to "Mp voila and3". I recommend whole-house distributed audio. Is that what it is?

👤I am an audio engineer. I bought this unit to run zone 3 in my backyard and pool room. I was excited when I ordered the unit. I was very disappointed when it arrived and I got it hooked up. I am a tech professional. I can figure things out quickly. This unit was difficult. The instructions were not helpful. I got it going after working with it a bit. The most simple way to pair up was with a bluetooth device. The unit I received was sold as used. I used a speaker from another system. The sound was still very flat after tweaking the bass and treble. The power was there, but it was not visible. I got better sound out of a lower powered amplifier after I turned it on. I connected it to where it would go and then powered up the speakers in my back yard. The bass hit, but again, the sound was very flat and tin-can-like, nevermind the blown channels, I needed all 6 for my pool room and outdoors. I think I had it powered up around 30 minutes. The power was completely there, but it was distorted at higher volumes where the power was needed. Don't recommend! Time and energy are wasted. When suggesting other units, other reviews are appropriate.

Brand: Pyle

👤A review is just an experience. It was bought in October of 2019. No surround sound. Is it possible to have a DVD player and a video output? Not HD? It looks like only a preamplifier. Half of my audio stopped. I contacted the vendor through Amazon. They gave me a website for the return of warranty. The shipping was going to be $30-40 each way, and the forms wanted my credit card, but I spent over $200 on the unit. I could pay return postage. The week will turn around. I decided to either fix it or destroy it. Not likely to buy another. Just my experience.

👤The previous model was great. It lasted about 2 years. We had some issues with the supplier after ordering this one. An issue was quickly resolved after we got an Amazon supervisor involved. It sounds better than the BA model when we get the correct version. The speaker quality is strong. I'm sure we'll enjoy many years of quality sound from our home theater system, we've received 4 replacements so far. The bass-signal lights inop were faulty and had a sticker on the box that said it was the new model. They called their company and were told they had a faulty unit and should call Amazon. On the 4th, Daniel held a 3 way call with the Pyle co. JR lied to Daniel until he realized I was on the call. He said something. Oh yes. I spoke with JR 15 minutes earlier. I called 48 hours later after JR said someone wouldn't call me in 24 hours. Someone would call in 24 hours. I got a call from a lady who said that my antenna was not good and that I should not send another unit. I resisted. The antenna was attached to a receiver. It is fine. I wanted a credit card. She had a 3 way relationship with Amazon. He refused to give us credit. The Amazon rep Eric apologized to me and arranged for a physical pickup at our home, he couldn't believe how the PYLE rep acted. The PYLE should be removed from Amazon's site. The PILE was delivered to our home. Thanks to Daniel and Eric! We ordered a Yamaha from Amazon and it works great with our existing car. Stay away from the products. The product and the support from PYLE are a problem.

👤The ad is not accurate. I was one of the many who fell for the value of this product. If you miss your return window, it's worse. The manufacturer wants you to think about assisting them. It was definitely taken on the chin with this item. There were static and distorted sounds. Don't waste time or money.

👤The power delivery of the Preamp is very good. The cheap Boytone Multi player is combo Cassette, CD, TT, player via the speaker output jacks. Aux. In jacks. This is a very good value for $200. It is sturdy and well built. The falli g is short of 5 stars because of the noise generated by the Pyle. It has a nice bonus, but it is a bit noisey. I haven't tested the Radio orBT functions yet. The controls are confusing and have too many buttons. I can tolerate the unit's Glitzy look with knobs and lights, but it may be a little over the top for some. What are the controls for Bass and Treble? The operating manual is convoluted and offers little instructions. The manual does not show the rear panel of my unit. The remote control's function description is not clear. I am using a self powered Sub Woofer, even though I am using a Pyle Preamp to deliver stereo music from my Bookshelf speakers. The front panel of the Pyle has a volume control knob. I like that. It is doing the job to my satisfaction so far. It's not a Onkyo, Yamaha, Denon, but it's a very satisfactory product for my purpose, and aside from some noise, it doesn't really resonance as you turn up the volume. I also bought a Pioneer XA10 Receiver. After playing it for a while, it started to emit loud noises through the speakers. Triple checked all the connections against the unit but it still delivered a terrible distortion. The Pioneer is going back. The Pioneer was almost indiscernable in its sound and the Pyle had a very loud sound. The sudden crackling and distortion of the unit told me there was something wrong with it. Hope this helps. I'll try to update the review comments after some more use. Stay safe.

6. Sony STRDH190 Stereo Receiver Bluetooth

Sony STRDH190 Stereo Receiver Bluetooth

You can stream your favorite music service, podcasts, and more from other devices. A/B can switch to play all at once, or in separate zones. The low profile design is easy to fit into a conventional cabinet. There are 30 station preset on the radio.

Brand: Sony

👤I've owned some very nice and very poor stereo receivers. I would give SONY high marks for design and build quality, but that's not the case with this receiver. I want to know how fundamental is something as a speaker connection. There are many tried and true methods, including screw-down binding posts and banana-plug connectors. The cheapest version uses the "clamp-down" version. Sony has taken this cheapness to a whole different level. Read on. Most of us know to use decent speaker wires, which have a decent amount of wire within the insulation, but "monster cable" is the exception. It's the same diameter as appliance electrical wire. I tin the tip of the wires to prevent them from unraveling. Sony made it impossible to use good speaker wire on this receiver. The cheap "clamp" type connector is not a good speaker wire and the opening is not large enough to fit a paper clip. Look at photos. The old Radio Shack receiver that this unit is replacing had good speaker wire connection posts. I had to cut one of the fingers off of the electrical connection so it would fit into the tiny space when hook-up time came around. I'm thinking of returning the entire unit. This is an example of a product that is not going through any quality assurance testing, especially by engineers in charge of designing the unit. I am not surprised that Sony had nothing to do with this receiver. It happens all the time. If you want to purchase this cheap receiver, you will probably have to use speaker pins, and I really dislike these things! There is a speaker with plugs and a speaker with connections and pins. Tome is in charge? That's on the remote control. How about a pair of headphones? Again, on the remote. Almost all of the "critical" adjustments are done on the remote control. If you misplace the remote control, get it wet or break it, you're SOL in regards to operating this receiver. You might think of ordering a second one just in case. I prefer to have actual KNOBS on my receiver for low, mid, and high frequencies, as well as some other critical functions such as loudness, tape monitoring, etc. Sometimes you don't get what you pay for. As this receiver seems to be in the marketing advertisement and from other "reviewers", you might want to broaden your search to include a different manufacturer. This is not the Sony I used to know.

👤I needed to replace my Yamaha receiver from 30 years ago. I was looking for a receiver with a phono input that was reasonably priced. I settled on this Sony and have been happy with it. It was easy to set up. You can plug in a phono jack with grounding wire and add additional inputs. You can use the remote control to change the inputs. Speaker wires can be put into the back of the clamps. The sound quality is good. Once the wire is tightened, the phono doesn't buzz. Everything is balanced through my speakers. My old receiver didn't have a feature that allowed me to pair my laptop with it and play my library without interruption. It works as well as the other way around. There are a few cons about it. You can only pair it to one device at a time, not both. I have a home clock and radio that is available online, but I don't think it's a big deal. You can use the remote to access preset on the radio. You can have up to 30. You need to hit the forward button on the remote or scroll with the on board knob. The tuner scans slowly to find stations. If it's not important to you, this makes for a very solid home receiver and very reasonably priced.

👤I never leave a bad review, but this receiver did not allow for the full experience of the game. If I plugged my TV into my XBOX One X, it would be capable of playing both video and gaming. The build quality is good, but the lack of AUX-in was disappointing. I picked up the Yamaha after returning the Sony. It's $50 cheaper, has tons of more features, and has an AUX-in feature that I've wanted for years, and it passes the tests of both Dolby Vision and HDR10 correctly. Pick up the Yamaha, you'll be happy you did.

👤I put together a simple 5.1 surround system in my small den based on a Yamaha amplifier that started to go a little weird - it would turn itself on and off, sometimes wouldn't allow volume control from a remote, and sometimes wouldn't have picture resolution dropped. The sound was pretty decent. I decided to swap out the amplifier for the Sony one. Wow, what a change! It was easy to set up and calibrate. The sound stage is very detailed. It makes my speakers sparkle with clarity and crispness. I'm not a snob and my ears can still see a huge improvement in movie watching at a cheaper price. You will like this amplifier.

👤Great inputs. Good power. 60hz pass through. The enhanced HDMI option can be enabled. Arc control. I like it. The surround left channel is dead. The receiver died not even two years after the event. I'm disappointed, and that's coming from a Sony fan. My last receiver was from Sony. This was brought down from 5 stars to 2 by me. I think I'm buying a Denon.

👤I have an old entertainment system with a center and surround set that I use this unit to drive. The unit sounds good even with questionable speakers. I listen to my music on my phone. I use it. I know that makes many people cringe. I used the automatic calibration to set this up. Mozart's 25th was put on by selected music surround. My wife could hear how much better this setup was. Everything was in balance. It had a rich sound and clear highs. The surround did not sound fake. It was like sitting in an orchestra pit. It sounded great to have DVDs and cable TV. I can't hear the voices. The Movie HD-Digit setting is clear and easy to understand. There is a night mode that makes it easier to understand voices. The unit works great out of the box. It is powerful enough for a small home office, and I have it set up there. If you want to annoy the neighbors, you might need a bigger unit. I am very pleased with this purchase, and I love it.

👤Sony got it right. The receiver has 4K and HDR pass-through. The inputs are 2.2 compliant. It is easy to set up. The power is at 145W per channel. It will expand to 5.1 soon if you hook it up to a couple BIC tower speakers and a Dayton Subwoofer. There is no rush because the Front Surround feature really makes 2.1 sound like real surround. I couldn't be more happy with my purchase because it's heavy and built like a tank so it should last. The seller was praised for ordering on Monday and being delivered on Wednesday.

Brand: Pyle

👤Some major problems bring down the rating of this amplifier/receiver. Sound quality is good. This thing has a lot of features for the price. The slim profile makes it possible to stack more things. The volume dial is touchy, and the difference between quiet and very loud is a couple hairs. The included remote only works on the digital inputs, not the plugged in ones, so if you want to change the volume from across the room, you may use whatever mp3s you have plugged into the micro sd orusb slots. The first one of these was sent back because the main volume control didn't work at all. The dial was set where the two loudnesses were. I wonder how long this thing will last. Hope that was helpful.

👤There are a few gripes. The remote only works with the radio modes, so you have to get up and walk like the old days to change the component volume. This is a problem during commercials. There isn't a mute function either. 2. If I leave the room or hold my phone in a certain way, the range with my phone drops out. I thought my 2x6 Daytons might explode because the amplifier pushes them so hard. The component input makes the TV sound great. My kid loves the echo feature of the microphone. 1/6” It's nice to have inputs for guitar practice. Radio works. If you need it, avoid it because it is WEAK, 3 stars, and that is what I bought it for. I still like it for tv and radio at the price of 99 dollars.

👤I bought this receiver because I had a good pair of speakers and a small amplifier that did nothing. I needed an amplifier that could give me 100 watt per channel. This amplifier was perfect for my needs. I have connected the speakers to the amplifier and it can drive them. The rear speakers terminals were not receptive to banana clips, so I had to remove them and twist in the copper ends. My other complaint is that the standard is old and prone to interference. I just use the audio output with a stereo jack on my computer, since I stopped using it. I use a 100 watt Polk Audio Tsi 100's and they drive perfectly. I would look into an additional accessory to use with this, or another amplifier entirely, if it was a must-have feature for you.

👤First off... The price! I wanted this to meet our needs alone. I'm looking to replace a receiver in a room that's rarely used, where my previous receiver stopped working. It plays a variety of audio and video formats, though other reviews state the range is poor. I don't need top-end stuff in a room that is seldom used. The room is rarely used and I want it to be functional. This device is not. Others have stated that the remote control is egads. I've seen larger postage stamps. It works, but a 1976 Ford Pinto can do the same. Doesn't mean I want one. There are two more The volume. The best part is this. The remote control's volume is pointless unless the knob volume is turned all the way up. If you have a master volume, turning the volume up using the remote control is not going to make it louder. If you turn the master volume all the way up, you can turn it down using the remote. So what is that big deal? Turn the master volume up and leave it there. The next time you turn it on, it will reset so you won't notice. Hopefully your speakers can handle it. It's a good one. The power off button isn't off. You have to flip the switch on the receiver to turn it off. Trust me, you'll want to do that when you have to turn the volume up to make the remote work. The speakers would wake the dead. I wanted this for a seldom used room and to play files on the computer. I copied all the files onto a thumb drive. The feature on the receiver works just fine. I put the thumb drive in and it started playing. I selected random and it did the same thing. Only one problem. The next song is randomly selected by the back button. Let's say you have as many songs as I do, and one in particular play that you just love and want to hear again. Not gonna happen. If you hit "back" on either the remote or the receiver, it will randomly pick a new song. It's not a joke when this bad boy says random. All of my experiences happened within the span of 15 minutes, and I was already thinking that I'd probably send this thing back. Unfortunately, that's what I intend to do. Between the volume wonkiness, horrible remote, and not even a simple "back" repeats the song when on random... This thing would be more rarely used than the room is. Now... I don't want to end on a negative note, but if you just want to play music for cheap, don't plan on using it in a very complex manner. The job would most likely be done with this thing. You don't mind if your customers cross their arms and say the painting "speaks to them" if you have background new-age music for your art gallery. I would say you're in business with this thing. You may end up with the one I send back. That's right.

👤I would have given this 5 stars, but the inputs gave a bad sound output. I had the same issue with a Chinese unit. I am using this as a media center and the TV/Android TV Box are my only sound sources, so it was an option. The sound is crystal clear. One unit had a remote volume that was down after 1.5 years, but it works fine and feels solid. The remotes are $36 a pop. I used a universal remote that I learned from. You can control the volume settings for surround, center, and main with the remote. You can control bass and treble. All my settings were retained when the system was reset. This is connected to a power strip that shuts everything off when the TV is turned off. I was a little nervous because of the other reviews. Not an issue for what I received. I'm assuming they addressed the issues with later versions or the reviewers received faulty units. I prefer a lower volume setting because I don't want my speakers or THUMP my subs to blast. The unit came with a lot of instructions. It has a low-intensity blue display and doesn't distract when watching movies. It's the perfect size to fit on top of my sub and has rubber feet. I didn't assume something this small could drive an unpowered sub because my powered sub works with the high-pass speaker wires. I am using satellite speakers and a dual cone center channel speaker. The power of this makes it loud for a home theatre system. I don't expect this to work with large stereo speakers, and would cause distortion if you tried to use it as a pre-amp. It's never a good idea to amplify a signal. I would have been angry if I didn't have the option to use the HDMI option. The only thing that the HDMI can do is audio pass-through, it is not a receiver. I have to buy an HDMI splitter as I can't use it to switch between audio sources since I only use HDMI. Both units have issues now. One connects when it wants to and the other doesn't. One unit has issues with HDMI sound, where you have to cycle the inputs when you first start your show, or when you pause your show, or both. Only one source is connected.

👤This product was perfect for the bedroom. If you don't do the homework, you will be disappointed if you buy a surround system with Boom-Box volume. The reviewer who helped me decide to purchase this product was the same one who helped me with my application. I have setup a 27 inch TV in my bedroom with a single HDMI input and a streaming stick. I wanted better sound in my bedroom than my TV could provide. The sound system in the entertainment room was supposed to be louder than the bedroom's. I had spare Bose speakers that I wanted to use for the bedroom TV setup. The amplifier fit my application perfectly. I wired using 16-gauge wire. The two Bose speakers were put into the amplifier, the Roku stick was put into one of the two HDMI inputs, and the other end of the cable was put into the TV. I connected an F-Type female plug wire antenna to the amplifier to use the built-in radio when I'm not watching TV. I have not used the AUX inputs yet. I have been using the above setup for a month and I am very pleased with it. When the volume-dial is set to mid-way, the amplifier can drive the Bose speakers with enough power. I can use the input mode on the stick to stream video. The Bose speakers have better sound quality than the TV speakers. There are no issues with voice not being synchronized. There is a The amplifier's remote control is very easy to use. The instructions are very clear about how to operate the system. The amplifier unit has all the controls on it, as well as the remote. I added a wire antenna to the amplifier to pick up the radio stations. The amplifier has a lot of memory. The amplifier has a feature that works well. I connected my laptop to the amplifier. The Bose speakers had a better sound than the laptop speakers. The connection to my phone was easy to make. The low-cost unit that the Pyle PFA540BT amplifier is built for has a small footprint. It is on my bedroom furniture. I have not configured my bedroom entertainment system for surround sound, but it provides the option of connecting up to five speakers and a sub-woofer. I am very happy with the purchase I made, I chose the correct product for my application.

👤Total junk! Shame on Amazon for selling this garbage. My humming and making noise made it impossible to watch movies or listen to music after. It's very sad to have to hook up your other components to this worthless system and then have to disassemble and buy another receiver. The warranty was out after 30 days after I had this piece of junk for 3 months. Will never buy this product again. You have lost a customer. Please don't waste your time and money on this garbage. Very unhappy and dissatisfied customer here.

👤Good idea, bad execution. I returned two of them before buying another brand. I encountered one issue. The mic inputs did not work correctly. I used multiple mics, mic level and line level inputs. 2. Side channels don't play audio in stereo mode. 3. The button to switch between stereo and 5.1 modes does not do anything. Couldn't get into 5.1 even with 5.1 inputs.

👤I was looking for a cheap receiver. I should have been careful about what I wanted. This is not a 5.1 Home Theater Receiver, this is a Karaoke machine that can do 5.1, and it doesn't do either very well. I returned it because the 5.1 wasn't working when I used it. The replacement did 5.1 surround. I bought a Denon AVR-S540BT as a replacement after returning from a single day of use. Get a real Audio/visual receiver and not have to worry about it. You don't care about my story, you are here for the facts. If the input is providing 5.1 media, the HDMI Input will do 5.1. Stereo only, no bass speaker. You can't force/upmix into 2.1, 3.1 or 5.1. You only get stereo if the input is stereo. If you have an aux or HDMI input, you will only get 5.1 sound if you do. There is no "Listening Mode", "Sound Mode", or "MultiChannel Stereo". You don't get to listen to music on the speakers. Make sure the game or movie you are watching is in 5.1 if you connect your PS4/ PS5 or XBOX to this. Does not do any decoding or processing. The 5.1 processing is not very good. If you play any type of audio, prepare for distortion, crackling and soundfluttering. There are five The receiver needs to be on for the passthrough to work. The power button on the remote does not turn off the receiver when it is on. If you are playing Stereo, 2.1, 3.1, or 5.1, a small buzzing/humming will be played on your speakers. The mic inputs were unreliable. I tried a few different mics in all of the mic inputs, adjusted the mic level, volume, echo and delay. The mic was either broken or distorted. The mics work on other devices. The AM/FM reception is terrible. I have a clock radio that picks up better radio than the 1930's tube radio that picks up AM.

👤I received a replacement for my Magnavox Blue Ray player that didn't play audio from it and didn't play surround sound. The replacement is doing the same things. The manual says that. When I press the CH, mode must be set to 5.1. There is a small blip on the audio display. Pressing the same option on the receiver doesn't make a difference. The speakers are wired correctly and the surround volume is adjusted correctly, but the receiver doesn't play all audio in 2.1 stereo. I'm waiting for technical support suggestions from Pyle before I buy another brand. I will update my review after receiving assistance from Pyle.

👤Don't buy if you're warned. The only sound that comes out of all the speakers is through bluetooth. If you want to watch a movie on your device, forget it. The sound will only come from the sub-bassoon and front left and front right. The sound from the speakers will not come from the center or rear speakers. I hid all of the speaker wires and mounted all of the speakers after setting up the whole system. The manufacturer tech support failed to return my calls or emails after multiple attempts, despite the fact that Amazon tech support could not resolve the issue. Amazon gave me 50% of what I paid.

👤Where to start? It's a good system. It's not for a night club but it is a movie theater. I gave the remote 2 stars because it needs to face right at the sensor. I connected x 2 tall speakers with a 10 inch and 8 inch speakers inside and x 2 box speakers with a 6 inch speakers and 4 tweeters. It adds a lot of sound.

👤The surround system does not come with good instructions so you may have trouble setting it up. You have to guess how to connect the wires at the end of the main box. It would be better if they put banana clips in the box. I could only get sound out of three speakers. I bought two different splitters, but they didn't work. I only got one reply a day from technical support. I got all the speakers to work after trying different things on the remote. The sound is good but it was a lot of work to get this set up.

👤The set is nice. We like having the ability to listen to the radio in stereo with our Smart TV, and this gives us great sound for our TV. If you want, you can mount the speakers to the wall. If you have a small place you are planning to put it in, make sure to get the measurements from the info.

👤The output is not bad for an affordable stereo. I use a surround sound system to deliver music that is designed to put people in a more settled state, adjusting their nervous system. This stereo shows that you don't need to spend a lot of money to get good quality.

👤I have had this unit for 34 days and it's not working right after only 2 weeks of use. The remote wouldn't connect to the internet anymore, it stopped working all together. I called customer service. They want me to pay for shipping as well. I don't have the original box. I have to figure out a different way to send it to them. I have to pay for shipping to return it. I've paid for shipping before, why a second time? Not happy with the product. I want my money back, not because it's fixed, but because I want it to be. It worked for 2 weeks.
