The system includes 6 surround speakers, a sound bar, and a wireless device. 5.1 channel surround sound is ready, voice prompt to announce speaker functions and make it easier to pair up with a wireless device. The master volume control has a power indicator and a function indicator. Satellite speakers and a wall mountable sound bar are included. AC/DC power adapter, remote, mounting hardware, optical audio cable, 3.5mm to RCA audio cable, and 3RCA stereo audio cables were included.
👤Trying to find a way to get a refund. We couldn't hook anything up because of the damage to the item.
👤The system is not worth it, it's so low you have to be next to the TV to hear it, and the TV is more loud than what I paid for. I wouldn't recommend it. This system can be used by anyone. So. So unhappy with it.
👤The sound quality is better on the HDMI. The surround sound speaker wires are short, but they were able to reach all areas of the living room with extensions. The sound quality is clear and it is a great buy.
The speakers have rear panel controls. Bass and treble adjustments are made. Additional features include a daisy chain ability and a unique power on the audio signal input. 👤When it worked it was great, the product was nicely packed. There are only positive things I can say about this product. Even though I am tech savvy, I had multiple setup issues. I haven't had any problems setting up my stuff. Plug and play is what this system should do. It wasn't in my case. I had issues with only receiving pcm audio, and audio cutting out every five minutes. You need to use their app to use the system. The app crashes frequently. I received a remote before the unit shipped to me, which was nice. Their tech support is condescending. They couldn't figure out what my issue was and referred me to the manufacturer of my television. I contacted tech support again after I called the manufacturer. I received an email that was very rude and blamed me and the setup for the issues. They had the owner call me to fix something. He used bad language and was rude. Even though my settings were correct, my issue was solved. After everything was setup correctly, I decided to give the system a chance. It worked well for a couple of weeks and then started cutting out during movies on hbo. The audio would stop for 20 seconds and come back into the right speaker. I tried to figure out the problem with Chromecast. The issue began occurring with everything I watched. I received a rude reply to my email. I sent the system back. I was able to return the product and that's why the issues occurred. Do yourself a favor and not have to use this system.
👤I have two 5.1 surround home theatre systems. They were decent. The last one was destroyed when the internal dvd crashed and corrupted the receiver unit. I was researching wireless systems because I was tired of stringing speaker wire. I have not been disappointed by the Cinehome II. It comes complete in a box. Wireless allows for great flexibility in placement within a few feet of a wall sockets. Plug the power source into the tv and within seconds it will pair to all the speakers. The app on my phone allows me to change settings. The app has a layout that shows active speakers and a touch to test levels. I own a fire tv, chromecast, and a high quality dvd player. The high and mid-range speakers have crystal clarity, and the bottom of the system is superb, which is better than either of my previous systems. I received a reply within an hour on my email question. I recommend the Enclave for easy installation and high quality.
👤I put together this thing in about 20 minutes. No fuss. I wanted no wires going from the screen to the recliner. Good sound, surround that doesn't feel intrusive, got that. Sometimes I do with concerts, and I can raise the roof. You listen to Beethoven. No 5. You will float away, tenderly caressed by sound clouds. A ferry scene from Spider-man: Homecoming. The web-slinger is a great test for surround effects. The Spider-man and the Vulture fight is a great work-out for a home cinema set-up. First it is some standard busy action - gun shots from left, right, up and down; smart dialogue; and then the quick move to a full-on swinging and flying fest from the two lead characters. The final act is the most important for your sub. When the ferry splits in two, there is some groaning and breaking up of the hull, which needs to be communicated by your system with terrifying weight to give that genuine sense of scale. This is a good time to show the system's ability for dynamics and detail. The person who wrote bad reviews to this gear was either having a bad day or a shill for a competing product. Of course. I have had the system for a year. I don't know why anyone would have issues with it. It fills my man-cave with sound. I had a problem today. The power went off for a while. The CineHome II 5.1 produced no sound when it came back. I contacted Tech Support and they sent me some directions. When we lost power, the TV settings which enable the audio to be sent to the hub were lost as well. In 10 minutes, I reset the speakers, the hub, the TV, and the wireless. I gave the system a 5 stars a year ago, so I would like to add more.
Low-Profile Design with 6 Full-range Speakers. Powerful 5" Wireless Subwoofer. The speakers have Discreet Volume. It was designed for 4K TVs with audio and video. Audio cables and a TV remote are included for easy setup.
👤I had been watching the previous soundbars. They are cheaper than the top of the line products. The smaller version would be on sale for $300. There was a very favorable review for this unit on the internet. The refurbished unit was only $175. I ordered it and it was good. It was very easy to set it up. The sound is very clean and loud. I own an 8 inch B&W, a 10 inch ELAC and a 10 inch SVS. I'm used to deep bass. The Yamaha soundbar that I replaced was slightly taller than the other Vizio soundbars I own. There is a feature where a smart speaker can be connected to a separate line. When the smart speaker wants to speak, the soundbard will reduce the main source volume and then bring the volume back afterwards. It worked. It accepts an Atmos bitstream. The surround is good. The remote is backlit. My TV has the ARC feature. The features and value are very good. These are all minor. There is very little air and image in the front of the soundbar. There's still a lack of focus despite the help of the virtual surround and virtual surround. It sounds different. I couldn't find any height. My main system is hyper focused and it is obvious. The remote is difficult to use. It's not terrible, but you will need to make a quick adjustment in the dark. There is no internet or wi-fi. The Vizio display is crappy. Since there are so many refurbished units out there, Vizio makes good soundbars. None of the ones I've purchased have failed and the ones I've bought are not as good as they could be. The typical Vizio is inferior to most soundbars. Highly recommended.
👤I decided to try it out. It is not an Amazon open box, but a third party seller. I was made to contact them by Amazon. The sound bar won't work from the input. Both the sub and the sub-bassoon will not pair. I am not sure if that will work. It won't pair with my phone via blue tooth. I will have to fight with the seller to get a replacement or money back.
👤I have too many speakers for one life time. I was trying to go "modern" with this and it blew me away. I have a small office, but it's great for the price. The harmon kardon can't touch this model. It was super impressed.
👤Just what I needed. Movie theater status and music are not the same. I maxed out the volume on the rear speakers and turned the dialog and bass up as well. You will be amazed by TV speakers. It definitely sounds like a movie theater with less bass if you mount your speakers behind you. This is a nice setup for a small room. The cons are that it's not compatible with Amazon's voice assistant: I'm not going to be upset, but it's a problem with the alexa. I think it's a problem with the speaker and not the device. I switched it to the Aux and everything went well. Losing a star is not worth it. Some reviewers haven't realized they can use the remote control to tune their system. I think I like it after 2 or 3 weeks.
The Sony 2.1 Channel Sound Bar System with Wireless Subwoofer is the ultimate home theater upgrade. Audio comes alive. The power output brings the content to life. The speaker unit and volume of the subwoofer are powerful. S-Force Pro is a virtual surround sound technology. There are seven sound modes, choose from Auto Sound, Cinema, Music, Game, News, Sports, and Standard Audio Mode. Voice enhancement can be used to amplify the noise over the background. You can stream your favorite movies, shows, and music from your phone.
👤I was looking for a good sound system. I didn't care if it was able to jump through hoops or not, this one fit the bill nicely. I have a great soundbar with built in subs that is great, but I wanted one for a larger room that would provide even louder and deeper bass. After listening for a few days, I was a little disappointed but knew that speakers and especially subs need to be replaced in time. I've heard that some of the soundbars sell for up to 600 dollars, but this one sounds like it would be a good buy. Some people have experienced sound delays with other soundbars. The voices are clear and the bass is loud enough to make a difference in a movie. I can confirm that music and dvds sound good. If you're able to use a subs, you should place it in different places in the room to see where it will sound best. This is a great buy at 199 dollars and is well worth it.
👤It's okay if you're used to sound bars. I really wanted to like it. I tried every setting and it sounded so compressed. Even at full volume, the sub is not impressive. The living room is twice the size and we just installed a Samsaung sound bar in it. It was paid for at Best Buy. This was installed with a 65" Sony in a media room with carpeting and 8' ceilings. The set up was easy and fast. It sounded better with Steely Dan than it did with the TV, when I turned it on. I will be sending it back so I can get a better sound experience. My thoughts. If you are interested in something that sounds better than your TV speakers, this might be a good idea for you. I would suggest different options if you want something more than average.
👤The sound is really good and it is very easy to use. I downsized from a 7.1 surround setup. If the dialogue is enhanced, I don't think we lost any sound. If I had paid full price, I would have been happy.
👤I have had a Sony sound bar for two weeks. The sound bar was easy to pair with after the user error was corrected. I was initially disappointed with the bass from the sub woofer, but the more I have listened to it, the more I can say it does deliver. It was a good value and it was delivered on time. It was well packaged. It will allow you to pair 9 devices to it, which will allow for a lot of usage. I have it in my master bedroom and it is loud enough. You don't have to use on and off button's. It will turn on and pair automatically if I tell it to do so. When you turn the television off, it will also power off. The price and sound quality are what will make you happy.
Voice assistant input can be used to control your devices through the sound bar with a dedicated 3.5 aux or persistent Bluetooth connection. The Monoprice 5.1-channel Home Theater Speaker System is a must have. Four satellite speakers, a center channel speaker, and an 8" powered subwoofer are included in the speaker system. The speakers come with a black finish. The center speakers use two shielded mid-range cones, while the satellites use one cone and a dome tweeter. Don't let the small size fool you. The speakers can handle up to 125 watt of power from your home theater receiver. The amplifier that drives the downward firing cone is powered by a 60 watt (RMS) amplifier. It can be used with any amplifier, even older ones without dedicated subs. The subwoofer has volume balance controls and can handle frequencies between 50 and 250 Hz. There are four C brackets for mounting the satellite speakers to the wall in the box. A pair of plastic feet are included. You will need to provide your own hardware for mounting the C brackets to the wall.
👤The speakers sounded great for a while. Two months after owning the speakers, one of them sounds tinny and crackles when certain sounds are played through it. The speakers have not been used to play music or movies. Reached out to monoprice twice to find a replacement speaker, but have not heard back. I don't want to buy an entire new set of speakers and I don't want to introduce a speaker other than monoprice into my surround sound system as it will look silly. There is an update. Monoprice stated that they don't offer individual speakers for replacement after many attempts. Unless you want to start mixing different brand name speakers, you are out an entire system if one speaker goes bad. One speaker is bad after two months of use. Not happy.
👤We don't listen to the speakers very loud because they blew within 6 months. We live in an apartment so we're careful about being too loud. Even when it hasn't been used in a while, the sub still gets hot. I tried to contact Monoprice, but couldn't get anyone to respond. It was a major disappointment. The speakers are overpriced for the quality, even though you pay for them. They wouldn't replace the speakers. They wanted us to send the entire system back in at our own cost, then they would eventually get around to sending a replacement. I told them to forget about it because I could replace the speakers for less than shipping. I will never buy from Monoprice again.
👤This is the 3rd set of speakers I have purchased. One for my wife's office and one for a bonus room. The v2015 sets were the ones that were there. They went out of stock for a long time, but recently came back. I immediately ordered a set for my theater as I have been happy with the previous sets. More than happy. The drivers may be made of a different color material. The speakers in the box were separated from the black laminate. The new logo is not great at all, and it is not as pleasing with the grills off. The biggest change was the mounting screw, which has always been a threaded screw. I bought the 6 I needed for my mounting brackets before opening this box. The screw was changed to an M6. Another trip to the hardware store. There are some mounts that have built in threaded rods that will no longer work with these speakers. You can see the differences in the versions here. I'll give them time to break in, which is important with these speakers. The sound is as expected, but the quality of manufacture has suffered. I don't understand why Monoprice can't throw in a bag of the correct mounting screws since they are not the standard size.
👤I don't like the system. I am very impressed with Monoprice. The speakers did not work. I contacted the company and they were very responsive. I received a second sub that wouldn't power on unless you jiggled the power wire and held it in a certain position. They sent me another sub. Many people have said that the one that worked worked, but they don't expect much. In movies, there is no boom or punch. The other two subs are in my garage. The system is inexpensive and works well for a dorm room, apartment or an entry home theater system. I ordered this package again after my experience, but I think Monoprice is a good company.
The small size, big sound is packed with a collection of powerful drivers and tweeters that produce clear sound. If you have space limitations for your home theater system, these sound bars are a must-have. There is an experience with PoLK's proprietary audio technology and 5.1 digital coding. Multi-dimensional surround sound can be heard in your living room, bedroom, or media room with the INCLUDED WIRELESS SUBWOOFER. Polk's exclusive Voice Adjust Technology lets you control voice levels in ways that maximize sound clarity and minimize voice delays. It has independent modifications for movies, music, and sports so that you hear every word, making your movie, sports, and music experience absolutely exquisite. You can stream music from your phone, tablet, or other compatible device to a multi-room system. You can stream your favorite music tracks to your sound bar. You can set up the sound system in minutes using the included cables and the Home app.
👤Everything is still great and even better. After adding a PS4 to the mix, I decided to re-configure the cables to use optical input. After nearly 8 months, I have an on-screen volume indicator again, instead of relying on the sound bar LEDs, and the sound quality is even better. This sound bar can be used if your TV supports HDMI. I have since programmed everything through a Harmony Ultimate remote, instead of the tiny, stroke inducing one I used to use. All the thumbs up! I bought this product with my own hard-earned salary and have no reward or free product from a 3rd party. It's kind of a novel. It has been 6 months since I purchased the MagniFi mini and I have gotten quite a bit of welcome, unexpected bang for my buck. I was skeptical that a tiny bar and sub could give me a believable theater sound experience. Even though the bar is in front of me, underneath my TV, the sound feels like it's coming from all around the room. The brick main bar speaker is very heavy. The sub is light and well-made, and it fits just about anywhere. The learning curve when it comes to figuring out your optimal audio settings is quite steep. You'll be tweaking your TV's audio out settings for a while. When I was used to seeing a visual indicator on the TV, getting used to knowing what the colored lights on the speaker front were telling me was different. It took about a month to find the optimal setting for the speakers and the TV, and I have connected them all. I don't think I've been able to use this speaker to its full potential, but I can say that when I turn it on, it cranks it up to an ignorant level. 99% of the time, I stream from TV apps. Now etc. The sound is balanced and doesn't require any changes from the remote. I didn't know what to think about quiet movies like Moonlight, but I watched it the night I got the speaker. I replaced the factory wire with a high quality optical cable and noticed an improvement in the sound quality. The streaming quality is equally amazing. I've tried streaming from my Mac and a few other devices. Each one worked well and was easy to pair. I haven't tested the sound quality from TV to the speaker because my U-verse cable box takes up the only ARC port on the TV. I'm pretty sure it's excellent. I'll update if there's anything significant that comes out of it. Channel changes or changing content while streaming is one of my gripes with inputs. The sound delay can take several seconds to resume if you don't hit a volume button. It's annoying and I'm wondering if using an audio visual system will fix it... I'll test it eventually. Audio when watching cable TV has always been and continues to be a butt pain. I'm not blaming the speaker system because I think the U-verse cable box is the problem, it just needs to be upgraded. Some channels only support certain audio formats. Some channels will not have sound until I change the TV audio out setting to plain Dolby+. I have to crank it to 11 to hear anything, then get a change of pants once a commercial comes on because the rest of the city will know what I'm watching. I know which channels to avoid at this point. It's a bit Meh. No problem. The remote is the last gripe. The person who thought of this design should have called in sick. #1 It is not very responsive. Nothing is going to happen if you point it at the speaker. There are major responsive issues with the scalloped/flat buttons. It takes 3-4 presses to cut the sound and the button is not the right place. Volume Up and Down are not straight. In a perfect world, Volume Up should be raised so you can feel the difference in your hand without looking. If you aren't pressing in the right spot, you will do the opposite of what you want. It was very annoying. The speaker has light emitting diodes. The number of clicks to change the volume level is a mystery. I still have to look at the lights to know my press is registered. The sound level can be displayed with 1 click and then 3-6 clicks to affect the volume level. I have eliminated these issues by programming the speaker on my remote. It's perfect anywhere. I wish I had waited, but I needed an audio upgrade immediately after my purchase, and the price has gone down to $199. The product was worth the price tag. Don't hesitate to get your hands on this system. If you're looking for high product quality, ease of use, and awesome audio quality, then you don't need to pre- search. This new lower price is an un-pass-up-able steal, so you will not be disappointed. I wonder how many points that word has.
Onkyo has a Home Theater Receiver. The Polk speakers are floor standing. The Polk Bookshelf Speaker is a pair. The Polk 2-Way Center Channel Speaker is from Polk. Polk 10-Inch Active Subwoofer.
👤Only one channel was functional after we purchased this. We have tried to contact the vendor several times, but have had no response. We should reach out to the vendor according to Amazon. Absolutely frustrating!
👤This system sounds great. It took a long time to receive all the items. To make sure everything was responded to quickly, the seller was contacted a lot. This is not a complete in the box system, but you know all items are seperate, so for the money time and patience for delivery, I recommend this set up speakers.
👤The system is great for the price. The family is happy, but we can finally stop watching TV with the caption turned off. The movies sound great. It was loud and clear. It took about 2 hours to set it up, the tower speakers were a little shorter than I expected, but I love them.
👤Don't be foolish and listen to other people. Sounds amazing. Even at less than 100%. Friends wish they had it. I don't think Amazon reviews are good. This is good music. The dead are blasted. And PHISh!
👤Customer service was even better than Stereo. The reciever was fixed quickly.
👤Setting up a system is easy.
The sound bar is packed with 7 powerful drivers and tweeters that produce a clear sound, more superior than any traditional sound bar. The sound bar will instantly recognize the unplugged speakers and whisperer when you power them on. The wall mountable speakers have a full range driver and the sub supports an 8” downward firing driver. Experience true 5.1 PoLK's patented sound technology creates an expansive surround stage and detailed stereo image delivering a room-filling listening experience, the same as what you would get in a concert or theater. Polk's exclusive Voice Adjust Technology lets you control voice levels in ways that maximize sound clarity and minimize voice delays. It has independent modifications for movies, music, and sports so that you can hear every word. There are three HDMI inputs, one HDMI-ARC output, an optical port for the set-top box, and an aux analog input. You can stream music from your phone, tablet, or other compatible device to a multi room system. You can now use services like Pandora and others to listen to your favorite music. Enjoy high quality sound instantly by connecting to a host of smart devices.
👤The definition of TERRIBLE is Polk support. There was no resolution. I have been promised a replacement for nearly two months. The potential for this product is there, but the performance so far is poor. The surround speakers make a most annoying sound. Tech support has not supported the problem. I wouldn't speak to these speakers until the problem is solved. I wish I'd found this information before I purchased it, as I have found on-line others complaining of the same issue. Don't buy this and don't buy Polly - Customer Service gets worse. It's sad to say.
👤It was bought on March 14th and is dead on July 9th. I tried optical, HDMI, and Bluetooth, but it kept restarting and wouldn't play sound from any source. I thought it was a nice sounding system, but who keeps boxes that big for more than a few weeks? Polk customer service will be reviewed. Polk Customer service is fantastic, absolutely no hassle, nothing to provide, and I had a replacement in less than 10 minutes. It was easy to hook up the new one. Hope this one lasts, it sounds like it was as good as the first one.
👤I wanted an excellent soundbar and it was exactly what I got. I was looking for a replacement for a traditional receiver and 5.1 speaker surround sound system, but I was worried that a soundbar wouldn't live up to my expectations. I'm not an audio engineer. I can't tell the difference between the Polk Left/Center/ Right speakers I had previously and this one. The surround sound is what I wanted, they need a power outlet each. And that's it. The way my room is configured I can't have the rear speakers wired to a single amplifier because there are other sound bars with separate rear channels. Other people have stated that the sub is very impressive. I was nervous about how it would sound, but I'm very happy. There was an update on 5-13. It was reduced to three stars. Sometimes we watch TV in the other room with a cheap soundbar that doesn't have these issues, because the crackling fire in the front speakers is so bad. When changing channels or going into the Comast menu, the soundbar will sometimes disengage from the audio source, and then it takes a few seconds to get back to playing sound. I will contact Polk to see what they have to say.
👤I bought a sound bar on Thanksgiving. It was a unit that I was interested in buying. It was too good to pass up. Within 40 minutes, I had the bar running. The only reason for it taking so long is through my Fire cube. A bar at this price range will get an additional 3 HDMI ports. There is a medium sized master bedroom. The power of the sub is quite noticeable. I'm in a house. I would let her rip. The ease of use is what makes me happy as a blind person. The setup and system update was done through the app. A total of 5 minutes. The only problem I had was learning the remote layout. I would like to see remote layout documentation in user guides. Customers who are blind would benefit from it. Polk customer service explained the buttons. All within a few minutes. I spoke to a gentleman who was very nice. There is a The sound bar is large enough to cover the full width of my television. Be prepared! The box is large. It was a challenge to open it. Very well packed. The bass, lows, and mid range are all great. Voice quality is clear. A good buy for a small to medium sized room. I'm considering the surround speakers, but I might make my neighbor angry. We'll see! There is a If you are considering this unit... I recommend it to you. I can discern tones with my sight. A very clean sound.
The ultimate home theater upgrade has a 3.1ch engine. There are seven sound modes for enhanced movies, music, gaming, news and sport. Voice enhancement for clarity. The BLUETOOTH streaming has built-in wi-fi and is easy to use. High-resolution audio is possible. You can use your Amazon connected device to stream music, online radio, and podcasts. Just ask.
👤The version is called the TL;DR version. It's worth every penny. Buy the rear speakers as well. This is my favorite thing. You don't know what you're missing. People who love audio but aren't building dedicated theaters, people with reasonably-sized rooms and apartments, and people who love "that movie sound" are the best for. It's great for the everyday person who appreciates sound but doesn't want a complicated setup. Not best for large spaces, those who want huge amounts of volume, and those expecting tower-level performance out of a soundbar. I am Sony's perfect test mule, a home theater enthusiast, audio snob, and proud member of the "Soundbars are nonsense and your speakers should be wired" camp. I was going to jump on it when it popped up with all the buzzwords, but it runs 3.1. I'm a bit crazy as I seek out things to prove me wrong and learn. This could be my masterpiece, and boy was it. You will be hard-pressed to find much bang for your buck. You're still staring down a sound system that costs over $1300 with the rear channels, but "Little" is relative. Unless you're willing to go down the dark rabbit hole of dedicated theaters with the right speakers in the right places, you won't find a better experience. SETUP setup requires a few visits to the manual. I have a 4K TV that requires a few changes in settings, but the manual walks you through them. It's pretty plug-and-play. The "easy setup" wizards don't need to think about it when speakers pair themselves. It's stupid-simple. Love it. I wanted to make sure it could actually cast audio. I fired up the service on my phone and it was there. I chose a live recording to see what it could do and stopped doing anything for an hour. It's the most generic description I've ever heard. You're there. This is an experience that is not static. You feel like you are at the show when you listen to live recordings. It's beautiful, magical, and addictive. Which leads us to the next question, what does that mean for movies? I thought I should test that and see if it's good. Remember the line about the dog? There are fireworks in this demo. I can't think of a better example than the dog looking at the ceiling. If a dog is confused, they are doing something right. The speakers are so good that the level of immersion is amazing. They're so good at it that it makes me angry that they're doing an injustice to these things. Sound from TV to movies is easy to setup. Watching a few other TV shows and movies made the dog over at the speakers enjoy a saxophone and made everything come to life. It can be hard to balance if you're not into that kind of thing. This doesn't require any tuning on my part and it balances voices and sounds easily. God of War is in a video game mode. This should be the most amazing thing that Sony has to offer -- a Sony TV running a Sony game on a Sony PS4 through a Sony soundbar. I have played video games in a theater before, but this is the first time I have been able to hear sounds. I don't think it's the speakers' fault that some sounds fall flat. I think they aren't rendered with authentic sound and the speakers only replicate what they hear. The smaller sounds sound amazing. Sound effects are not as loud. I think it's harder to say 3.1 equates to 7.1.2. I think it's not the speakers fault. These seem to bend the laws of physics to create a sound that's more realistic and you need to pick up the rear channels. There is a noticeable difference between the rears and the fronts. The sound system doesn't shine without those rear channels. Don't get me wrong, it's still very good, but just throw in the extra money. I have a few gripes about this thing, but they wouldn't deter me from buying it. If you have a smart TV, you still need to keep two remotes. If you use the smart apps on your TV, you can't use the soundbar in a traditional format. It's not a big deal. Since I was old enough to use them, I probably have at least two remotes. I think Sony will change this in the future. It could use more power. It's perfect for my space and your mileage will vary with it. The room it's in has 16' ceilings and 20' x 30' walls. It provides a lot of punch and I think it's a good spot. If you want to fill something bigger, this may not be the system for you. Be honest with yourself, that's a pretty big room. A lot of people get caught up in the wattage game without asking themselves how often they have this thing cranking up to 11. When using a smart TV, it can be difficult to switch from one service to another. Sony could fix the software issues in time. It's a bit of an edge case and doesn't take away from the overall experience. I expected this system to be half marketing hype and it blew me away. It made me believe that sound engines can change the dynamic. It knocks it out of the park because it targets a specific buyer who really appreciates sound but doesn't want to spend a lot of money or time on it. I am grateful. I received it through the Amazon program. Let me know if you find it helpful.
The soundbar is almost impossibly thin and has a black surface. You can control power with a Touch-button design. The volume is easy to see on the side. You can mount the sound bar on your living room with the mount brackets in the package. The sound bar will go through a quality test before being sent out. They offer a warranty of 12 months. You can stream your music library from your phone or mp3 player with the help of the Bluetooth technology. A driver unit that has its motor structure removed becomes a passive diaphragm. There is no chuffing that you would get with a port box, thus enriching the system. 5 audio inputs, 2 audio inputs, and 2 audio inputs, and 2 audio inputs, and 2 audio inputs, and 2 audio inputs, and 2 audio inputs, and 2 audio inputs, and 2 audio inputs, and 2 audio inputs, and 2 audio inputs, and 2 audio inputs, 5 audio outputs. The speakers are on the center channel. 2 Full Range Front Channel speakers. Independent speaker/subwoofer volume control, 2 Full Range Rear Channel 2x3” Speakers. The cable length is 11 Ft., the front and rear are 9 Ft., and the signal to noise ratio is 70dB.
👤The speaker is loud, has good sound quality, and has a long battery life, which is quite nice. I don't like the loud voice guide that provides unit status updates when powered on and off, and when connected to the internet. The voice guide is loud and annoying for the setting I will be using. I can't use it for my intended purpose because I don't have a way of controlling the volume of the voice guide. It's too disruptive to other people. There is no instructions for changing the voice guide volume. There is no way to quiet the voice guide. I can only give it two stars because I cannot use it for its intended purpose, but it is a solid product.
👤The setup for this speaker was easy. It was easy to pair it with other devices, and each connection took only a minute. It has three different inputs, which makes it easy to connect via wires. The sound is good in both the high and low ranges. You would think that a small speaker like this wouldn't do a good job reproducing the lower tones. It is well made. The speaker will be able to stand up well in different environments, as evidenced by the heavy-duty protectors over the input points. It does not have a power cord for charging. I was able to charge it. You would think they could have a charging cord. If you need a charging cord, you have to buy one, because the directions only have a picture of a charging cord and an arrow pointing to a shopping cart. We wouldn't have had that if we hadn't had a cord.
👤I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a fancy speaker, but I never use it. I didn't want to pay too much for sound. I thought the speaker gave a great sound for the party. I don't use it a lot, but I really like it for its convenience, ease of use, and overall sound. I trust those who say it's not Bose, but I think it's fine for my needs, and definitely the right price.
👤I have bought a speaker. We don't have a jack for our car stereo and my 16 year old loves music that isn't on the radio. They have been subpar until Nyne! She can run me out of the car. It is amaxing! I feel surrounded by sound. She has a group that makes the speaker vibrate but on every other song it is great.
👤I've been messing with wires and speakers for years. I decided to try one of these models. Wow, what a change! I am very satisfied with the sound and quality. I was able to connect to my PC as well. The price is a great value.
👤I own the best blue tooth speaker set. Please see the attached pictures. It was very easy to set up. It takes about four hours to charge from the box. It delivers on longevity. I had to charge it again after playing mine for over 24 hours. One tip on charging is that not all devices deliver the same current and voltage. The charging light will show a red color if the NYNE is getting the correct current and voltage. The light will flash red and white if the current is wrong. You need to find another source of current for your NYNE. If you are like me, you have a lot of charging systems, and finding one that works well will not be a problem. It was very easy to set up. The on/off button will tell you that it is in pairing mode. To pair, you need the phone, device, or both. There are no codes to exchange. The range on this system was great. I was able to move more than sixty feet away and the sound quality never degraded. This is a stereo system. This device is in full stereo, it's the only one like that. I produce music and write music. Quality speakers are important for me. On all fronts, the NYNE delivers. The NYNE speaker is very good.
You will be able to hear your TV come to life with dual 1.25" x 4.4" mid-range drivers, detailed crisp 1" tweeters, and the highest quality audio withEATERQUALITY AUDIO. Give your favorite movies, music and shows the deep, rich bass they deserve. There are no wires or cables that look ugly. Place the included wireless subwoofer in the room and let the whole place rumble. Denon's intelligent way of enhancing dialogues makes them sound crystal clear without having to adjust the volume. The most complex audio tracks will now be clear and loud. A low profile design that fits most spaces. The sound bar is under the TV so it won't block the IR remote sensor. Place it on a shelf or wall-mount it. The Audio Return Channel is included with the single cable connection that connects your TV to the gaming console or audio source. It's easy and convenient. You can stream music from your favorite streaming apps with the built-in technology. Denon has a 100 year legacy of sound and joy. This soundbar and sub is an exceptional home entertainment system that will give you multi-dimensional audio and hi-fi surround sound.
👤If you've followed any of my other soundbar reviews, you'll already know that I've been on a quest for the best stand alone (no separate sub) soundbar in the market. The Sony HTX8500, Yamaha1080 and one by Polk Audio are the other soundbars that I've tried, so I'll be comparing this one to the other three. If the electronics and design are good enough, you will find that a good soundbar will draw you even further into a film without drawing your attention to the soundbar itself. The S216 does a good job of creating a decent size soundstage if you are close to the soundbar. The Denon comes up about as good as the Sony and Yamaha. The soundstage for Midway is better than the Yamaha, but it's not as good as the Sony. The Denon has more adjustability to the bass level than the Sony, so it provides a better experience. The Denon really comes into its own when Independence Day has a DTS soundtrack. I was drawn into the whole experience by the soundstage. It's the same as both the Sony and Polk Audio soundbars, they can all be overwhelmed with too much bass added in. This was where the Yamaha excelled. The Denon has a place where it beats the others hands-down. Denon has done their homework in this area, and the way in the lead amongst the other soundbars I've bought is the Medium setting on the S216. The bass from the S16 could be better. It does better than the 8500 due to more adjustability and beats Polk Audio hands-down, but it's really short of Yamaha's1080. I think it's because the 1080 uses larger, down firing built in subs, and likely with a bit more power. I can't really call it bad, but the performance was disappointing. This is the only area where Sony's 8500 was the clear winner, and with so many 4K discs being encoded in Dolby Atmos, it may be its biggest downfall. The superior Dialog Enhancement found on the Denon goes a long way to make up for this. The ugly: I don't plan on using this soundbar for music playing, but am rating it for others in that respect so they can get an idea of what they are looking for. Despite being made by one of the best audio manufacturers, the S216 comes up short in music reproduction. The soundstage shrunk significantly when it was put through its paces for movies and the high end is far too restrained. If you're looking for a multi-purpose soundbar, the Yamaha is the better choice, although the1080 does not pass through Dolby Vision, so it is not a good choice. Positives include outstanding dialog enhancement, good soundstage, and great adjustability for bass levels. I'm using it over the Sony 8500 because of the Denon's superior Dialog Enhancement and more adjustability for bass level. I'm considering trying the newer Sony 3.1 Dolby Atmos capable soundbar to see if it will offer the superior experience of the 8500, but have Dialog Enhancement as good as that found on the S216. The Denon will be my sound system for now. Thank you for reading and viewing!
