👤I was looking for a good sound system. I didn't care if it was able to jump through hoops or not, this one fit the bill nicely. I have a great soundbar with built in subs that is great, but I wanted one for a larger room that would provide even louder and deeper bass. After listening for a few days, I was a little disappointed but knew that speakers and especially subs need to be replaced in time. I've heard that some of the soundbars sell for up to 600 dollars, but this one sounds like it would be a good buy. Some people have experienced sound delays with other soundbars. The voices are clear and the bass is loud enough to make a difference in a movie. I can confirm that music and dvds sound good. If you're able to use a subs, you should place it in different places in the room to see where it will sound best. This is a great buy at 199 dollars and is well worth it.
👤It's okay if you're used to sound bars. I really wanted to like it. I tried every setting and it sounded so compressed. Even at full volume, the sub is not impressive. The living room is twice the size and we just installed a Samsaung sound bar in it. It was paid for at Best Buy. This was installed with a 65" Sony in a media room with carpeting and 8' ceilings. The set up was easy and fast. It sounded better with Steely Dan than it did with the TV, when I turned it on. I will be sending it back so I can get a better sound experience. My thoughts. If you are interested in something that sounds better than your TV speakers, this might be a good idea for you. I would suggest different options if you want something more than average.
👤The sound is really good and it is very easy to use. I downsized from a 7.1 surround setup. If the dialogue is enhanced, I don't think we lost any sound. If I had paid full price, I would have been happy.
👤I have had a Sony sound bar for two weeks. The sound bar was easy to pair with after the user error was corrected. I was initially disappointed with the bass from the sub woofer, but the more I have listened to it, the more I can say it does deliver. It was a good value and it was delivered on time. It was well packaged. It will allow you to pair 9 devices to it, which will allow for a lot of usage. I have it in my master bedroom and it is loud enough. You don't have to use on and off button's. It will turn on and pair automatically if I tell it to do so. When you turn the television off, it will also power off. The price and sound quality are what will make you happy.
The best Bose device. Bose's best-performing soundbar features deep bass, and easy access to your entertainment. The Bose Music app can be used for guided setup. This smart soundbar has built-in Amazon and Google Assistant for hands-free voice control. A noise-rejecting mic system listens for your voice. TV voice control. Bose Voice4Video technology allows you to control your TV with one voice command, and you can control your cable/satellite box with one voice command. You can only make or take calls from this smart soundbar, Bose smart products, and any other Amazon products you have. It's free of charge to have a phone and a phone free of charge. You can use a home wi-fi network, Apple AirPlay 2, or a Bluetooth connection to stream music. You can connect with Spotify. You can control your smart soundbar with three different ways to manage what you hear: your voice, Bose Music app, or a universal remote. Bose smart speakers and soundbars are compatible with this smart soundbar, which is part of the Bose Smart Family. 👤I have several SoundTouch speakers. I was going to use the SoundBar 700 to expand my speaker system. This speaker can't be used with existing SoundTouch speakers because it uses a different Bose Music app. This is a big fail for those of us who have been investing in Bose. I want a wireless audio system in my house. Not possible anymore from Bose. I'll be changing brands.
👤If you own a TV, please don't buy the Bose sound bar 700. It doesn't support the HDMI port on the TV. Bose won't support me because I missed the return date. They will tell you to contact Bose and ask for help. Hope you make the right choice.
👤I ordered the surround sound speakers. The older Bose system had an upgrade. The sound from the 700 is great, nothing more to say. I was able to program the universal remote to work with my devices. I can't offer a five star rating because of the set up. The app is buggy, I had to restart it several times, and the amount of guidance the app gives is slim. I opened the box containing the surround sound speakers and there was no instructions. Plug in the speakers is what the app said. It's not as simple as you might think when confronted with all the parts. The Bose website has a full manual PDF for each product. That makes the process much simpler. You can find the full instructions for the universal remote in the soundbar PDF. Bose might give instructions in the unpacking process to download the PDFs.
👤I want to say that I am happy with my purchase, but that I need to review this product to help someone else out. The set-up for this was a little frustrating. I can see why someone would give a bad review if they weren't a tech person. You have to use it and it has to be plugged in. If you want a simple plug in, this is not it. I am not sure if you can set it up without the internet or another device. I couldn't figure it out if you could. It took me a long time to figure out how to pair the device with my phone because I didn't have a cat5e cable. I couldn't find the setting that would allow you to connect to a router without wires. It kept searching for the device. After you set it up, you can connect your devices through the internet. The update took over 30 minutes. I closed the app and it appeared to have load. I am not sure if it got stuck. You can use the same remote for everything. The only issue I had was the channel buttons not working. I think there is an easy fix for that, but I need to work on it. It has a good sound. I went to the store to listen to the 500 before buying it. The 700 sounded better to me. I am happy that I didn't let other reviews try to get me to pick the 500. I am happy with my first Bose purchase.
The Bose TV Speaker is a simple fix for better TV sound. A more realistic, spatial audio experience is delivered by 2 full-range drivers, which make up the sound of a small soundbar. The TV speaker is designed to clarify and elevate vocals. Pair your device with the soundbar to stream your favorite music and shows. A single connection from the compact soundbar to the TV via an optical audio cable or an HDMI cable is all it takes to get up and running. The small soundbar is just over 2 feet tall and can be mounted to a wall or in front of a TV. The TV speaker dimensions are 2.21" H x 23.38" W. The remote control for the Compact TV speaker can be used to add a bass boost or enhance speech. The Bose TV Speaker is compatible with the Bose Bass Module 500 or 700 and requires the Bose Bass Module Connection Cable or a standard 3.5 millimeter audio cable to be sold separately. 👤I read a lot of glowing reviews and needed to do something. The dialog on TV shows was not being heard by my 60 year old ears. I had to blare the TV to hear the small talk, but also make everything else too loud. Believe the hype. The speaker has changed my life. Bose has the technology to pull the dialog out while not booming everything else, because this is a fantastic speaker. I can keep the volume at a reasonable level. The best part is that it sounds the same. I would order another one if this speaker broke. Couldn't be happier.
👤The TV speakers are great! It will meet expectations if you understand what this speaker is meant for. A speaker at this price point will give you better audio by giving you a boost in bass and clarity. It's not a sound bar that will blow you away. They don't advertise it as a speaker because of that. Great movie quality audio will be delivered by a speaker under $300. TV speakers have better vocals. I used to turn audio up just to hear the voice, then get overwhelmed when music or other sounds kick in. The speaker has great volume control. It's even better when the clarity feature is enabled. It's easy to setup. Bose setup video on YouTube makes it clear that understanding the lights can be difficult. It's great for hearing voices and delivers more than a TV can. I think it's priced well. I tried a few sound bars under $300 and they didn't do well, they didn't provide clear voice, and they provided much more power than the TV speakers. Bose is the right speaker if it's clarity and overall volume level control.
👤The sound bar was something I was looking forward to. I ran a series of sound tests to see if the Bose sound bar would live up to my expectations. I don't think this Soundbar should carry the name. Bose is on it. The pro's and con's that I observed were listed below. I had high hopes for the sound bar, but I was disappointed. The Bose 500 and 700 models have a true Bose sound which I will be paying an extra amount of money to get. If you know the quality is subpar, don't buy this sound bar. Either get a different brand or pay more money to get True Bose sound. That is my opinion. It has a sleek design. 2. The voice clarity option works well. 3. There is an HDMI ARC connection. The bass on this soundbar is flat, which is disappointing because there are many other options with better sound. 2. The sound is not deep. A lot of the minute details in sound are lost with this soundbar. A lot of the time when I watch an action movie, a lot of the details are not there. 3. It is hard to understand what level the volume is on because only a small status light indicates a change in volume. 4. Doesn't have a internet connection. Doesn't have voice commands. You have a lot of other cheaper soundbars that offer the same features as this one. The 500 bass modules cannot be connected to the internet. Does not work with Bose.
The Bose in-ceiling speaker has a strategically positioned 1" tweeters. Most other speakers can't match the quality of this performance. Stereo Everywhere speaker performance covers the room with balanced stereo sound-no drop-offs. A near-bezel-less construction blends nicely into the room's design. Installation is fast and easy with the standard dogleg grilles. The speaker is about 10 feet in diameter. The ceiling hole is 219mm. Speaker grilles are in the box.
👤We bought 6 of the 791 in ceiling speakers and they had no base sound and we got the worst customer service ever from BoSE. When we called the number we were told it was our equalizer, but we were told it was the 301 speakers that worked great on the same system.
👤The cheap plastic red tabs that shear off during installation renders the speaker useless as the can't be installed. Bose told me to buy a new pair after I called to get replacement parts. This is what you get for $600? So disappointed! I wrote a review on the Bose website, but it was removed because it was not good. I can't believe they didn't design these parts for replacement Don't buy if you're warned.
👤The speakers are ok but not great. I hate them because they are not invisible and look worse than your average speaker, but I have them installed in a white ceiling so they look better. Bose stuck their enormous logo on it. They want you to pay $300 more for a speaker that has better sound quality than a piece of beige cloth. The sound quality isn't great and has little to no bass, also, these speakers need to be wired through the ceiling for a clean look which can't be done without professionals and is a potential fire hazard. The speakers need an amplifier. I can't justify spending $600 for a pair of ugly things in my ceiling.
👤I will buy the same sound again for my loft sound set up. I have mounted the fill above me and it works great. The sounds in movies have me thinking that they are coming from inside my house. Love it. bose soundtouch 300 is amazing on it's own.
👤They are a great set of speakers, but they are a bit high on the price. I wish I had the 500 series to compare them to the Bose speakers, they have a hefty price tag. They are low profile on the ceiling for their size, but not really sure they are worth the price.
👤Good speakers, but expensive. They should be grouped with Bose Soundbar and bass modules.
👤My living room has a new addition. The response time was 40 to 16kHz. The bi-directional tweeters fill up a great room and produce decent bass. The Sonance 6.5" speakers were a great improvement. Allow for listening. It was easy to install. It is a nice aesthetic. A great sound, but a bit pricey.
👤They work well. I had my contractor install them for me. I'm very happy with them and my wife is more important.
👤These are the things that make money. It's a bit pricey, but look great and sound great.
👤It's easy in Kaiser HaloX Dosen. Habe sowohl die groen as well as die kleinen in grerer Stckzahl. Im Gestern ist schn flach und magnetisches Gitter. Sound: Ohne Sub. Preis/Leistung: Ohne, hren, wrde, das nchste mal Magnat, hnliches. Sonance. The Vergleich hat bereits in the Sonos Beam.
Product 2 has a height of 38" Bose Smart Soundbar 900 (Black) has a Remote Control with Batteries, Optical Cable, HDMI Cable, Power Cord, and a Quick Start Guide. Bose Bass Module 700 for Soundbar has a 1 year limited warranty. TrueSpace spatial processing for content that isn't Dolby Atmos. There are a lot of things that can be done with wi-fi, AirPlay2, and the like. Voice assistants are built-in.
👤I have no complaints about the seller. Customer service from the seller was good. The product was new. I am happy.
👤You get what you pay for. It's worth the money. Sound is very stylish and terrific. It sounds great in the family room.
👤I like Bose 900 soundbar. The quality is worth the price.
A single speaker will fill any room with impressive sound. This smart speaker has built-in Amazon and Google Assistant, so it can be used for hands-free voice control. A noise-rejecting mic system listens for your voice. Pair your device with this home speaker to stream your favorite music and more via a wireless connection. You can control your home speaker with 3 different ways: your voice, Bose Music app, or 6 1-touch preset on top of the speaker. You can only make or take calls from this smart speaker, Bose products, Amazon products, and anyone in your contacts list. It's free of charge and hands free. The Bose Music app is a good way to setup a Bose music system. This home speaker is part of the Bose smart family and works with other Bose smart speakers and soundbars for a multi-room listening experience. Bose SimpleSync is a technology that can be used to pair a Bose Smart Family member with a Bose, SoundTouch speaker. Bose SimpleSync is a technology that can be used to pair a Bose Smart Family member with a Bose, SoundTouch speaker.
👤The speaker looks great and sounds great. It doesn't work as advertised. It connects to the internet. All Bose speakers do. The speaker has a seamless connection to multiple music services. That capability is not good. I have fast and reliable wireless in my home. The Bose Speaker 500 was difficult to connect to. Setting up the speaker was very difficult. I tried many times to connect to the Bose Music app. I unplugged the device multiple times. I reset to factory settings many times. I had to restart my internet service multiple times. After an hour, it connected. The connection to the device is terrible. I haven't begun to discuss how bad the music service is. It doesn't want to play the satellite radio station. Nothing I do works. I purchased this device because of that, and at this point I have given up trying to connect to Sirius. It won't play music from my Amazon Prime account. No luck for me. Other elements of the voice activated assistant work. I have that going for me because it will tell me the temperature outside. That is not the reason I spent $400. It is a complete waste of money. You can get a good sounding speaker for half the price if you use theBluetooth connection. Do not spend your money on this product.
👤I want to listen to books on my BHS 500. I put it with my device. The Spot is supposed to play my book. Bose is playing it. It was relatively easy to setup. Bose's sound is extraordinary. The box looks good where you put it. I connected it to Amazon Music, where I get most of my music. I have over 8,000 songs stored there. It's easy to connect with other music sources if you have them. I had a major disappointment and a minor disappointment. I was sad when she said she couldn't play Audible books. I hope that will be fixed in a future update. There is a minor disappointment like so many new devices that are compatible with the voice assistant. No other options. This is Bose great, but just waiting for Bose to make it better. I almost gave it a 4, but the sound is so good that I can't. It is recommended.
👤The manual was downloaded. Bose App doesn't correspond to the instructions in the manual, so I tried to follow them. Been working all day.
👤There is a lot to like about this speaker. The design is very attractive and the sound is great. There are enough pieces that work for both the speaker and the piece. Asking it to play music was often told it wasn't authorized until a second attempt led to an interesting argument. I bought an extra echo and echo sub after returning this. The sound quality was improved by this setup. The straight echo setup works better.
👤There are a lot of issues with setting this speaker up. I had to uninstall the Bose Music App after an hour of trying to find the "My Bose" link. I was able to connect and play music through the App even though I still haven't found that particular link. Two hours later, I am still setting it up, and having a hard time getting a support video to play. When I clicked on the "group speakers" button, it said "grouping not available", which made me cringe. I bought this for that. I only have one speaker from the "plus" generation and it should work on a multi-room setup. Stereo pairing, speaker groups, and multi-room music only support music over your wireless network, and do not support 3.5mm AUX in, or TV/video connections, according to the notice on Amazon's page. I don't know if I'm trying to play this over my wireless network. I'm confused. I was going to buy the Echo Sub system with 2 Echo+ for my mini- system but now I don't think that will work as a multi-room system if this one doesn't work. If this ends up being a $400 pricetag like the product, it will be going back. So far, what a disappointment. The only reason it's getting a 3 is the sound. The overall sound is described by Bose as "The widest sound of any smart speaker" and it does not have the bass response I expected. It has a wonderful sound. I wanted it to act more like a sub with all the talk about how great the bass was.
You want to have great sound quality, so take these speakers with you. An extra durable speaker is needed to set them up. These are tough enough to handle deadly cold or heat. One speaker. 25 inch in a multi chambered enclosure produces deep, full low frequencies with minimal audio distortion. The speaker design makes for clearer sound in areas like workshops. It has a multi chamber bass enclosure. You want to have great sound quality, so take these speakers with you. An extra durable speaker is needed to set them up.
👤I bought a pair of Bose 251 speakers from Amazon and thought they were new. Why wouldn't I think this? They looked like a new pair of Bose speakers. I tried to register the speakers on the Bose website, but I was shocked to find out that they were manufactured in 2000 and were out of warranty. The speaker put out a rattle when it was installed. Bose said a 3rd party sale is not covered for warranty and can be repaired for $75. I was supposed to be happy spending $400 on a pair of speakers that are 20 years old. Amazon agreed to give back the purchase. I'm shocked that something like that could happen. Shameful.
👤One of the speakers sounded like an internal speaker went out. Bose told me that this was manufactured in 2008 even though I bought it in the year of 2019. Bose is going to be repaired because I only offer a year warranty. If you want a new speaker set, do not buy it on Amazon. I wonder how long these will last since they are already 10 years old.
👤I'm a musician and a fan of sound quality. I decided to hang the Bose 251 Wall Mount Environmental Speakers on the back of my house after a lot of research. Installation was easier because I already had wiring in place. You need to drill holes in the wall for the plastic screw anchors, hang the mounts with the screws, and crank the speakers up. The sound is very good and you can hear it outdoors. You can dial the volume up to call the police if you want. Highly recommended.
👤The box was delivered with torn shipping labels. The speakers had use. Bose said they were from 2001 and I called them to match the serial numbers.
👤The sound is great. Don't use the term "wireless" if you think there are no wires. Plug the speakers into the amplifier via speaker wire and then into the electrical outlet. I had to drill a hole in my house to run the 2 wires from indoors to the 2 speakers outdoors because the recommended amplifier is only for indoor use. It is easy to play the speakers via a connection. You should make sure you have a good wireless connection near the speakers.
👤I waited until the summer and fall to write a review of the Bose speakers I bought in May. The speakers were packaged well. I didn't know how many speakers I would need, as my outdoor entertainment area is relatively large. I returned 2 of the speakers I ordered. I have 3 acres of property and the sound of the speakers was too loud. The 2 speakers deliver topnotch sound. The speakers are loud. The range of tones will not make you disappointed. The Bose amplifier is used with the speakers. I can control the speakers with my phone. It was easy to set up the speakers. We had an unusual amount of rain in the summer and fall. There was ice and snow. The speakers are great, they are not worried about the bad weather. The speakers were stored until the spring. Before buying speakers, listen to 2 speakers.
The latest Bose voice control soundbar is the most immersing yet. Bose technologies make it feel like sound is coming from every direction, even overhead, with two custom- engineered upfiring dipole speakers. This wireless soundbar gives you an extra height to your sound. Bose TrueSpace spatial processing analyzes and upmixes sounds for a listening experience that is richer, more nuanced, and more personal. Bose obsessed over every detail to produce a speaker that looks as amazing as it sounds. When the music is loud, the noise-rejecting microphones work together to listen in every direction for your commands. If you want to keep your private life private, just turn off the microphones with the mic-off button. Bose Voice4Video technology expands your voice capabilities like no other smart soundbar can. You can control your TV, cable and more with just your voice. You can stream whatever you want with the wireless soundbars. The Bose Smart Soundbar 900 is easy to setup. You can connect the soundbar to a TV with either the optical audio connection or the HDMI eARC connection. 👤Awesome speaker! This is my first sound system. Adaptiq was used for an easy setup. I am not happy that youtube is blocked. I watched a lot of videos about this product. Not a single person said that Youtube is blocked. You should know this if you spend a lot of time with it.
👤I was excited to return this device. I wanted an upgrade from my old Yamaha soundbar to an offering with Dolby Atmos and debated between the Bose 900 and the Sonos Arc. One would think that the Arc was a no-brainer, but as a speaker in size, it would have required me to change my entire TV setup to fit on my stand. The Bose was so sleek and the size was perfect for my current setup that I placed between the stock TV "chicken legs" without blocking the bottom of the TV. I went with the Bose because I wasn't going to use the TV soundbar for a whole room music speaker effect. Big mistake. The Bose app was very glitchy. I had to go through the process four times because the app froze up on me. I was forced to do it again after it lost my settings. Dialogue mode was turned off at random times. My old Yamaha soundbar never failed to keep its volume functions programmed to my Chromecast remote. You couldn't tell when the bar was on or off, and you couldn't tell if it was picking up signals. I expected that the sound clarity and quality of my Yamaha would be better than Bose's, but it was not. It didn't improve my listening experience enough to justify the price difference and glitchy performance. My husband loves old-school Bose speakers so the bar was set high, but this speaker simply did not deliver. Bose's lack of integrated music streaming services such as YouTube Music and Google Music is annoying, but not as important as it should be. It goes back to the box. My Arc is on backorder but I am willing to wait and make room for it. The Bose was a good fit in size, but that's the only positive I have to say about it. A disappointing star.
👤I gave my 21 year-old Surround Bose System to one of my friends for her home because I was updating all of my home technology and she didn't have the latest technology. It looks stunning on my family room TV console after I purchased this. I love the clean lines and how easy it was for me to connect to my tv. Everything is flawless, I added Amazon unlimited music and the voice assistant, and it happened in minutes. I have listened to both music and movies with the sound of Dolby Atmos. My favorite Bose is a winner. Ya did it again.
👤I just installed my new Bose 900 soundbar and I love it. Installation is easy and fast. I watched my first atmos movie. It was a nice experience. If you want to have a complete sound experience, you don't need a sub. Awesome job Bose!
The Bose sound bar 700 is designed to bring music, movies, and TV to life with deep, dramatic bass. A powerful driver and generously sized port deliver a dynamic range of rich, low notes so you can feel the full impact of pulse-pounding scenes. Quiet port technology virtually eliminates distortion, so you can rock the house without sacrificing clarity. Premium glass-top finish adds to the beauty of your home theater setup. The Bose sound bar 700 and Bose bass module 700 can be used with Bose surround speakers for a powerful combination of thunderous bass and True surround sound.
👤Please read my review on the Soundbar 700 for more information, but here's a copy of what I said about the sound module... I hated spending $700 for a bass. I am glad I did. It provides a sound. It's almost like it's not there, but it is the real star of the show. I connected it and disconnected it a number of times to hear the difference. If you are looking for Movie Theater Sound, it is a must have. It is a lot of money, but it is worth it. It makes a difference between "nice" and "Holy Cow". Well... You won't care if you hear this.
👤This thing kicks out some of the cleanest sounding bass I've ever heard, and it's from a bass head who loves deep, tasty bass. If you turn it all the way up, it can be used to slay your house bass. It's a natural sound profile, it's just there. It's subtle and substantial. It means you're getting very clean lows because you feel it just as much as you hear it. A lot of people's perception of good/strong bass is a bit taint because it usually coincides with everything around it rattling to hell and adding to the 'bass' noise. The sound coming from this thing is a lot of both the bass feel and the bass sound, so it's not distorted... It's a great experience, but it's hard to describe. If you know the Bose sound profile from other Bose speakers, it makes sense. This is similar to that, but for bass. It's great. The wireless works well. It is easy to setup. You have to go into the app, click the soundbar, go to settings, and then add the auxiliary speaker if you want. It's not added in the same way as the sound bar, which is what I was expecting. The TV and sound bar are in the middle of the living room, but I placed this in the corner. It didn't make a difference to me that the bass was coming from the corner and it wouldn't sound balanced in the room. The directionality wasn't a problem because the bass was so clean and it sounded fantastic. The sound bar has a beautiful sound profile and it just layers on this nice rich low-end. The combination is amazing. The thing feels sturdy and robust. The metal and glass look very clean. My wife thought it looked like a high-end trash can. We have the white one. I think it looks nice and minimalist, but I can't say I agree with it. It's easy to hide under a side table or next to a couch or chair.
👤I'm going to update the review for this thing. The bass module is a monster. I didn't have any of the problems that the one star reviews had. The app was running smoothly. Still connects well. Sound quality is great as it emits an insane amount of bass. It is a lot when it is at 100. If you have wood floors, it will rattle and shake. Definitely recommend it. If you want the full power of the system, this is a great addition. The Bose app gave me easy control. It is expensive like most Bose products. If you don't believe me. I will show you what the system sounds like. I have the surround speakers as well. Right, go big or go home?
It is possible to modify the sound to fit your room. The two small speakers and hideaway Acoustimas module are delivered by the proprietary TrueSpace surround digital processing circuitry. Bose Videostage 5 decoding circuitry delivers a home theater experience from almost any source. CDs, VHS tapes, and even mono TV programs that weren?t recorded in surround sound will sound lively and room filling. Integrated systems design provides simplicity and performance that is not found in other component systems or all-in-one systems. DVD video, AM/FM, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, digital 5.1, and mp3 files are available on CD. There are 20 preset on the AM/FM radio.
👤It was delivered with a bullet hole and never worked.
👤I bought a lot of stuff off of Amazon and it was packed better than I thought it was easy to put together and he wrote instructions on the box a little rough to hook it up to your new TVs. I have it. I love it.
👤Too old and too big. I don't know anyone who would want that in their house.
👤There was nothing I didn't like. The value was great.
👤Product arrived undamaged and works well. Happy with the supplier.
👤The item was okay. I didn't like the sound of one of the speakers.
👤Not a problem. Like new. Very happy.
Bose designed the smallest speakers so that the focus of your home entertainment is not on your speakers. It's designed to bring music movies and TV to life with full surround sound. Simply plug the adapters into a power source and you're good to go. Bose sound bar 500, Bose sound bar 700, and Sound Touch 300 are compatible with. The bass modules have a range of 30 feet.
👤I decided to complete the set with surround speakers because I have a soundbar. The quality is as expected. I was a bit disappointed at the beginning. The voice coming from speakers was very low, almost no difference, as many customers share here. We spent $418 for nothing. I have decided to trust the Bose brand the same way I trust the Mercedes brand. Checked here and there, and found the solution, and shared it with you as a New Year gift, if you decide to buy me a beer. The Bose Mobile app is a solution to low sound coming from your new surround speakers. There are few. "Bose Music" and "Bose Connect" are not compatible with the soundbar 300. You need the "Bose SoundTouch" app for the 300 model. You can use your home wi-fi to connect your phone and app. Press and hold 9 if you want to prepare your soundbar for connection. Follow the instructions to open the app. I didn't know the sound system could get updates, but it did for the first time in 2 years after I bought it. It took about 15 minutes for the update to be done. "Audio settings" can be found on the app under settings. You can adjust the central level and the surround level, the last one is what is bothering you. Test your sound. Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
👤I was disappointed in my performance. I bought the speakers for my father to use to hear dialogue while watching TV and movies, but I was surprised to find that they only played background music and not the noise of the screen. Absolutely makes no sense and makes their purchase useless to me and therefore a waste of money.
👤My wife bought me the Soundbar 500 from Best Buy, and I wanted to finish it with the surround speakers and bass module. These suckers are loud and have a serious punch. I replaced some ancient bookshelf speakers with this setup. Very pleased with the purchase. Everything was easy to set up.
👤The Bose Soundbar 700 was added to my collection. It sounded amazing, but it was missing something when watching movies. I was a little hesitant about buying the surround speakers, but I am glad I did. We have a dedicated theater room with over $10k in equipment and the Bose 700 5.1 system sounds great. You have to hide the wireless box that supplies the power to the speakers, that's the only negative thing. The sound quality is amazing.
👤I bought the Bose Soundlink system about 8 months ago. Bose has a reputation that I went with. It was a mistake. They changed their app system, so my sound system is already obsolete, I tried to build out my system, but it was hard to find Bose speakers, it has to be deliberately vague. I thought I had everything, but one of the soundbar's doesn't work. Half of the Geek Squad crew tried to figure out why it wouldn't connect to the app. I have been trying to contact Bose for a long time and he has not responded. Do yourself a favor and go with the streamer. I would have liked to.
