The master volume control has a power indicator and a function indicator. Satellite speakers and a wall mountable sound bar are included. AC/DC power adapter, remote, mounting hardware, optical audio cable, 3.5mm to RCA audio cable, and 3RCA stereo audio cables were included.
👤Trying to find a way to get a refund. We couldn't hook anything up because of the damage to the item.
👤The system is not worth it, it's so low you have to be next to the TV to hear it, and the TV is more loud than what I paid for. I wouldn't recommend it. This system can be used by anyone. So. So unhappy with it.
👤The sound quality is better on the HDMI. The surround sound speaker wires are short, but they were able to reach all areas of the living room with extensions. The sound quality is clear and it is a great buy.
The ultimate home theater upgrade has a 3.1ch engine. There are seven sound modes for enhanced movies, music, gaming, news and sport. Voice enhancement for clarity. The BLUETOOTH streaming has built-in wi-fi and is easy to use. High-resolution audio is possible. You can use your Amazon connected device to stream music, online radio, and podcasts. Just ask.
👤The version is called the TL;DR version. It's worth every penny. Buy the rear speakers as well. This is my favorite thing. You don't know what you're missing. People who love audio but aren't building dedicated theaters, people with reasonably-sized rooms and apartments, and people who love "that movie sound" are the best for. It's great for the everyday person who appreciates sound but doesn't want a complicated setup. Not best for large spaces, those who want huge amounts of volume, and those expecting tower-level performance out of a soundbar. I am Sony's perfect test mule, a home theater enthusiast, audio snob, and proud member of the "Soundbars are nonsense and your speakers should be wired" camp. I was going to jump on it when it popped up with all the buzzwords, but it runs 3.1. I'm a bit crazy as I seek out things to prove me wrong and learn. This could be my masterpiece, and boy was it. You will be hard-pressed to find much bang for your buck. You're still staring down a sound system that costs over $1300 with the rear channels, but "Little" is relative. Unless you're willing to go down the dark rabbit hole of dedicated theaters with the right speakers in the right places, you won't find a better experience. SETUP setup requires a few visits to the manual. I have a 4K TV that requires a few changes in settings, but the manual walks you through them. It's pretty plug-and-play. The "easy setup" wizards don't need to think about it when speakers pair themselves. It's stupid-simple. Love it. I wanted to make sure it could actually cast audio. I fired up the service on my phone and it was there. I chose a live recording to see what it could do and stopped doing anything for an hour. It's the most generic description I've ever heard. You're there. This is an experience that is not static. You feel like you are at the show when you listen to live recordings. It's beautiful, magical, and addictive. Which leads us to the next question, what does that mean for movies? I thought I should test that and see if it's good. Remember the line about the dog? There are fireworks in this demo. I can't think of a better example than the dog looking at the ceiling. If a dog is confused, they are doing something right. The speakers are so good that the level of immersion is amazing. They're so good at it that it makes me angry that they're doing an injustice to these things. Sound from TV to movies is easy to setup. Watching a few other TV shows and movies made the dog over at the speakers enjoy a saxophone and made everything come to life. It can be hard to balance if you're not into that kind of thing. This doesn't require any tuning on my part and it balances voices and sounds easily. God of War is in a video game mode. This should be the most amazing thing that Sony has to offer -- a Sony TV running a Sony game on a Sony PS4 through a Sony soundbar. I have played video games in a theater before, but this is the first time I have been able to hear sounds. I don't think it's the speakers' fault that some sounds fall flat. I think they aren't rendered with authentic sound and the speakers only replicate what they hear. The smaller sounds sound amazing. Sound effects are not as loud. I think it's harder to say 3.1 equates to 7.1.2. I think it's not the speakers fault. These seem to bend the laws of physics to create a sound that's more realistic and you need to pick up the rear channels. There is a noticeable difference between the rears and the fronts. The sound system doesn't shine without those rear channels. Don't get me wrong, it's still very good, but just throw in the extra money. I have a few gripes about this thing, but they wouldn't deter me from buying it. If you have a smart TV, you still need to keep two remotes. If you use the smart apps on your TV, you can't use the soundbar in a traditional format. It's not a big deal. Since I was old enough to use them, I probably have at least two remotes. I think Sony will change this in the future. It could use more power. It's perfect for my space and your mileage will vary with it. The room it's in has 16' ceilings and 20' x 30' walls. It provides a lot of punch and I think it's a good spot. If you want to fill something bigger, this may not be the system for you. Be honest with yourself, that's a pretty big room. A lot of people get caught up in the wattage game without asking themselves how often they have this thing cranking up to 11. When using a smart TV, it can be difficult to switch from one service to another. Sony could fix the software issues in time. It's a bit of an edge case and doesn't take away from the overall experience. I expected this system to be half marketing hype and it blew me away. It made me believe that sound engines can change the dynamic. It knocks it out of the park because it targets a specific buyer who really appreciates sound but doesn't want to spend a lot of money or time on it. I am grateful. I received it through the Amazon program. Let me know if you find it helpful.
Low-Profile Design with 6 Full-range Speakers. Powerful 5" Wireless Subwoofer. The speakers have Discreet Volume. It was designed for 4K TVs with audio and video. Audio cables and a TV remote are included for easy setup.
👤I had been watching the previous soundbars. They are cheaper than the top of the line products. The smaller version would be on sale for $300. There was a very favorable review for this unit on the internet. The refurbished unit was only $175. I ordered it and it was good. It was very easy to set it up. The sound is very clean and loud. I own an 8 inch B&W, a 10 inch ELAC and a 10 inch SVS. I'm used to deep bass. The Yamaha soundbar that I replaced was slightly taller than the other Vizio soundbars I own. There is a feature where a smart speaker can be connected to a separate line. When the smart speaker wants to speak, the soundbard will reduce the main source volume and then bring the volume back afterwards. It worked. It accepts an Atmos bitstream. The surround is good. The remote is backlit. My TV has the ARC feature. The features and value are very good. These are all minor. There is very little air and image in the front of the soundbar. There's still a lack of focus despite the help of the virtual surround and virtual surround. It sounds different. I couldn't find any height. My main system is hyper focused and it is obvious. The remote is difficult to use. It's not terrible, but you will need to make a quick adjustment in the dark. There is no internet or wi-fi. The Vizio display is crappy. Since there are so many refurbished units out there, Vizio makes good soundbars. None of the ones I've purchased have failed and the ones I've bought are not as good as they could be. The typical Vizio is inferior to most soundbars. Highly recommended.
👤I decided to try it out. It is not an Amazon open box, but a third party seller. I was made to contact them by Amazon. The sound bar won't work from the input. Both the sub and the sub-bassoon will not pair. I am not sure if that will work. It won't pair with my phone via blue tooth. I will have to fight with the seller to get a replacement or money back.
👤I have too many speakers for one life time. I was trying to go "modern" with this and it blew me away. I have a small office, but it's great for the price. The harmon kardon can't touch this model. It was super impressed.
👤Just what I needed. Movie theater status and music are not the same. I maxed out the volume on the rear speakers and turned the dialog and bass up as well. You will be amazed by TV speakers. It definitely sounds like a movie theater with less bass if you mount your speakers behind you. This is a nice setup for a small room. The cons are that it's not compatible with Amazon's voice assistant: I'm not going to be upset, but it's a problem with the alexa. I think it's a problem with the speaker and not the device. I switched it to the Aux and everything went well. Losing a star is not worth it. Some reviewers haven't realized they can use the remote control to tune their system. I think I like it after 2 or 3 weeks.
The sound bar is packed with 7 powerful drivers and tweeters that produce a clear sound, more superior than any traditional sound bar. The sound bar will instantly recognize the unplugged speakers and whisperer when you power them on. The wall mountable speakers have a full range driver and the sub supports an 8” downward firing driver. Experience true 5.1 PoLK's patented sound technology creates an expansive surround stage and detailed stereo image delivering a room-filling listening experience, the same as what you would get in a concert or theater. 👤The definition of TERRIBLE is Polk support. There was no resolution. I have been promised a replacement for nearly two months. The potential for this product is there, but the performance so far is poor. The surround speakers make a most annoying sound. Tech support has not supported the problem. I wouldn't speak to these speakers until the problem is solved. I wish I'd found this information before I purchased it, as I have found on-line others complaining of the same issue. Don't buy this and don't buy Polly - Customer Service gets worse. It's sad to say.
👤It was bought on March 14th and is dead on July 9th. I tried optical, HDMI, and Bluetooth, but it kept restarting and wouldn't play sound from any source. I thought it was a nice sounding system, but who keeps boxes that big for more than a few weeks? Polk customer service will be reviewed. Polk Customer service is fantastic, absolutely no hassle, nothing to provide, and I had a replacement in less than 10 minutes. It was easy to hook up the new one. Hope this one lasts, it sounds like it was as good as the first one.
👤I wanted an excellent soundbar and it was exactly what I got. I was looking for a replacement for a traditional receiver and 5.1 speaker surround sound system, but I was worried that a soundbar wouldn't live up to my expectations. I'm not an audio engineer. I can't tell the difference between the Polk Left/Center/ Right speakers I had previously and this one. The surround sound is what I wanted, they need a power outlet each. And that's it. The way my room is configured I can't have the rear speakers wired to a single amplifier because there are other sound bars with separate rear channels. Other people have stated that the sub is very impressive. I was nervous about how it would sound, but I'm very happy. There was an update on 5-13. It was reduced to three stars. Sometimes we watch TV in the other room with a cheap soundbar that doesn't have these issues, because the crackling fire in the front speakers is so bad. When changing channels or going into the Comast menu, the soundbar will sometimes disengage from the audio source, and then it takes a few seconds to get back to playing sound. I will contact Polk to see what they have to say.
👤I bought a sound bar on Thanksgiving. It was a unit that I was interested in buying. It was too good to pass up. Within 40 minutes, I had the bar running. The only reason for it taking so long is through my Fire cube. A bar at this price range will get an additional 3 HDMI ports. There is a medium sized master bedroom. The power of the sub is quite noticeable. I'm in a house. I would let her rip. The ease of use is what makes me happy as a blind person. The setup and system update was done through the app. A total of 5 minutes. The only problem I had was learning the remote layout. I would like to see remote layout documentation in user guides. Customers who are blind would benefit from it. Polk customer service explained the buttons. All within a few minutes. I spoke to a gentleman who was very nice. There is a The sound bar is large enough to cover the full width of my television. Be prepared! The box is large. It was a challenge to open it. Very well packed. The bass, lows, and mid range are all great. Voice quality is clear. A good buy for a small to medium sized room. I'm considering the surround speakers, but I might make my neighbor angry. We'll see! There is a If you are considering this unit... I recommend it to you. I can discern tones with my sight. A very clean sound.
The best audio performance from your 4K HDR content can be found with the help of the Dolby Audio 5.1. Loud and clear: The 96dB sound pressure level and 50Hz to 20kHz range deliver accurate Sound. Voice assistant input can be used to control your devices through the sound bar with a dedicated 3.5 aux or persistent Bluetooth connection. 👤The review is now edited. The sound bar has stopped working. I have had another Vizio soundbar for many years, but I am not an audio engineer. I retired that to see what a newer generation sound bar was like. I was happy to use the inputs on the sound bar and try out the new features on my XBox. Installation is quick like my last one. I don't have to refer to the manual. The way in which the box is aligned makes sense and it's nicely labelled. I was amazed at how small everything is. The viewing section at the bottom of my television was blocked by my older Vizio soundbar. I have an air-gap between the TV and the soundbar. My daughter called the speakers cute because they are so small. The last one was a small one. The sound of the older Vizio soundbar is startling. It is clear to us as we sit 8 feet away. I was picking up on sounds I didn't know existed while playing our XBox. It's like the previous soundbar was muffled, as if a blanket was over it, if I were to describe it plainly. The sound came through so clear after the blanket was removed. The manual doesn't explain why there is an internet connection on the back of the unit or how to use it. I know it has Smartcast by language on the box, but my point is that the manual speaks nothing about it. It's almost like they forgot to include a chapter. I tried to connect to the soundbar using my phone's app out of curiosity, I own a Vizio television with Smartcast. The sync between phone app and soundbar failed because it detected it. I don't need the app or the soundbar, so I will stop using them. I was sad to find out the connection on the soundbar is not 4k/UHD. I assumed this would work with my 4K television because everything seems to be different now. I used my FireTV last night to start a Grand Tour show in a high definition format. I was presented with an error-factoid that said my connection was not rated for high definition. I ran an optical cable to the soundbar after dropping my popcorn, and then I connected the television and the optical cable. The Grand Tour was back in 4K. I can't comment on the movie because it requires a HDMI connection. I still give it 4.5 stars, but it's up to 5 stars. It's small, cute and the sound is better than my previous one. We love it. I would love to be able to connect for 4K via the HDMI. That was a moment I will never forget. On 6th of May, the edit was done. It was purchased on April 24th and died on June 5th. We woke up this morning to find our soundbar dead between being turned off last night and this morning. There was no power. We walked through many steps after I contacted Amazon. Amazon decided to give me a refund because there were no replacements to be had. The soundbar is out of stock. I have to send the pieces back to Amazon with the label they provided. I have reduced my original review to a 1-star, but Amazon still gets 5-stars for their helpfulness. There are a lot of recent reviews of people suffering with this soundbar. Beware. Beware.
The Sony 2.1 Channel Sound Bar System with Wireless Subwoofer is the ultimate home theater upgrade. Audio comes alive. The power output brings the content to life. The speaker unit and volume of the subwoofer are powerful. S-Force Pro is a virtual surround sound technology. There are seven sound modes, choose from Auto Sound, Cinema, Music, Game, News, Sports, and Standard Audio Mode. Voice enhancement can be used to amplify the noise over the background. You can stream your favorite movies, shows, and music from your phone.
👤I was looking for a good sound system. I didn't care if it was able to jump through hoops or not, this one fit the bill nicely. I have a great soundbar with built in subs that is great, but I wanted one for a larger room that would provide even louder and deeper bass. After listening for a few days, I was a little disappointed but knew that speakers and especially subs need to be replaced in time. I've heard that some of the soundbars sell for up to 600 dollars, but this one sounds like it would be a good buy. Some people have experienced sound delays with other soundbars. The voices are clear and the bass is loud enough to make a difference in a movie. I can confirm that music and dvds sound good. If you're able to use a subs, you should place it in different places in the room to see where it will sound best. This is a great buy at 199 dollars and is well worth it.
👤It's okay if you're used to sound bars. I really wanted to like it. I tried every setting and it sounded so compressed. Even at full volume, the sub is not impressive. The living room is twice the size and we just installed a Samsaung sound bar in it. It was paid for at Best Buy. This was installed with a 65" Sony in a media room with carpeting and 8' ceilings. The set up was easy and fast. It sounded better with Steely Dan than it did with the TV, when I turned it on. I will be sending it back so I can get a better sound experience. My thoughts. If you are interested in something that sounds better than your TV speakers, this might be a good idea for you. I would suggest different options if you want something more than average.
👤The sound is really good and it is very easy to use. I downsized from a 7.1 surround setup. If the dialogue is enhanced, I don't think we lost any sound. If I had paid full price, I would have been happy.
👤I have had a Sony sound bar for two weeks. The sound bar was easy to pair with after the user error was corrected. I was initially disappointed with the bass from the sub woofer, but the more I have listened to it, the more I can say it does deliver. It was a good value and it was delivered on time. It was well packaged. It will allow you to pair 9 devices to it, which will allow for a lot of usage. I have it in my master bedroom and it is loud enough. You don't have to use on and off button's. It will turn on and pair automatically if I tell it to do so. When you turn the television off, it will also power off. The price and sound quality are what will make you happy.
Bring out the best audio performance from your 4K HDR content when connected through HDMI. Loud and clear: The 96dB sound pressure level and 50Hz to 20kHz range deliver accurate Sound. The Virtual:X is from the studio. Enhances any content with room-filling, floor-to-ceiling 3D sound. Place the wireless sub in the room to amplify the sound. 👤The replacement sent by Vizio works as advertised. I need it for my modest living room. I wanted my star rating to reflect. I was told to purchase ausb stick to update the firmware, but it did nothing. I was told it was a fix. I have little confidence that the replacement will work, so I will have to ship it back. It's a good idea to avoid Vizio at all costs. Shame on Amazon for selling a bad item.
👤The product I was ordered to pair with was better than I could have asked for. The Vizio came in great shape and sounded like a theater. The level of clear audio output even at full volume, no distortion or buzz, and his in quiet parts of movies and tv is shocking. I can see the insulated glass windows bow when bass hits and I am shocked at how it rattles the hard wood floor. If you live in town, your neighbors will hear it when the house is closed up. 30' to next house for reference when neighbors asked what system I was running.
👤Excellent compatibility with existing remotes is provided by this 2.1 soundbard. It's a good value but no longer. The product I returned was faulty and the seller has yet to give me a refund more than 2 weeks after I received it. I didn't think I'd be one of the reviewers who changed their review due to the service. I am here. I want my money back.
👤Unit arrived on time. I knew that Amazon had a friendly return policy. I called the help line and got help setting it up. I have never had to turn my screen down before. When I turn on the sound bar, the subs pair automatically. If I could, I would give it 6 stars. I put the money I saved into an extended warranty because I want to keep working for a long time. I use it every day for a few hours since I set it up. I will upgrade the review if there are any problems.
👤It doesn't remember sound settings. If you switch from one sound setting to another, it will apply to the other. There are two more The sound is not deep or full. I've heard older Vizio soundbars that sounded better. This one is disappointing. There are 3 more Even though the soundbar has a dynamic volume adjustment, it still cuts out all sound during quiet portions of shows, especially quiet dialog with gaps in between. This makes it sound like the sound is being cut in and out. I was expecting the TV and soundbar to work well together, but they are not. Looks OK. It feels sturdy. It was easy to setup.
👤I only need one remote after I adjusted the settings to my liking, it was easy to set up. Is this not a top of the line sound system? This system is a huge upgrade from listening and watching movies through the TV, using the Optical cable is the best sound quality, if you use the HDMI ARC. The sound quality when listening to music on my phone is amazing.
You will be able to hear your TV come to life with dual 1.25" x 4.4" mid-range drivers, detailed crisp 1" tweeters, and the highest quality audio withEATERQUALITY AUDIO. Give your favorite movies, music and shows the deep, rich bass they deserve. There are no wires or cables that look ugly. Place the included wireless subwoofer in the room and let the whole place rumble. Denon's intelligent way of enhancing dialogues makes them sound crystal clear without having to adjust the volume. The most complex audio tracks will now be clear and loud. A low profile design that fits most spaces. The sound bar is under the TV so it won't block the IR remote sensor. Place it on a shelf or wall-mount it. The Audio Return Channel is included with the single cable connection that connects your TV to the gaming console or audio source. It's easy and convenient. You can stream music from your favorite streaming apps with the built-in technology. Denon has a 100 year legacy of sound and joy. This soundbar and sub is an exceptional home entertainment system that will give you multi-dimensional audio and hi-fi surround sound.
👤If you've followed any of my other soundbar reviews, you'll already know that I've been on a quest for the best stand alone (no separate sub) soundbar in the market. The Sony HTX8500, Yamaha1080 and one by Polk Audio are the other soundbars that I've tried, so I'll be comparing this one to the other three. If the electronics and design are good enough, you will find that a good soundbar will draw you even further into a film without drawing your attention to the soundbar itself. The S216 does a good job of creating a decent size soundstage if you are close to the soundbar. The Denon comes up about as good as the Sony and Yamaha. The soundstage for Midway is better than the Yamaha, but it's not as good as the Sony. The Denon has more adjustability to the bass level than the Sony, so it provides a better experience. The Denon really comes into its own when Independence Day has a DTS soundtrack. I was drawn into the whole experience by the soundstage. It's the same as both the Sony and Polk Audio soundbars, they can all be overwhelmed with too much bass added in. This was where the Yamaha excelled. The Denon has a place where it beats the others hands-down. Denon has done their homework in this area, and the way in the lead amongst the other soundbars I've bought is the Medium setting on the S216. The bass from the S16 could be better. It does better than the 8500 due to more adjustability and beats Polk Audio hands-down, but it's really short of Yamaha's1080. I think it's because the 1080 uses larger, down firing built in subs, and likely with a bit more power. I can't really call it bad, but the performance was disappointing. This is the only area where Sony's 8500 was the clear winner, and with so many 4K discs being encoded in Dolby Atmos, it may be its biggest downfall. The superior Dialog Enhancement found on the Denon goes a long way to make up for this. The ugly: I don't plan on using this soundbar for music playing, but am rating it for others in that respect so they can get an idea of what they are looking for. Despite being made by one of the best audio manufacturers, the S216 comes up short in music reproduction. The soundstage shrunk significantly when it was put through its paces for movies and the high end is far too restrained. If you're looking for a multi-purpose soundbar, the Yamaha is the better choice, although the1080 does not pass through Dolby Vision, so it is not a good choice. Positives include outstanding dialog enhancement, good soundstage, and great adjustability for bass levels. I'm using it over the Sony 8500 because of the Denon's superior Dialog Enhancement and more adjustability for bass level. I'm considering trying the newer Sony 3.1 Dolby Atmos capable soundbar to see if it will offer the superior experience of the 8500, but have Dialog Enhancement as good as that found on the S216. The Denon will be my sound system for now. Thank you for reading and viewing!

👤I just got a sound bar and it's amazing, but my review may change if something bad happens. I never heard of a sound bar. I went by the past reviews on Amazon to see if there was a video of this sound bar. The setup was easy to set up. I used the optical cable. The sound this thing produces is amazing. The bass is very close to my gaming PC bass. The sound is rich and clear. If your current TV speakers don't work like mine, then this will solve your problem of not being able to hear your games or movies. I am very impressed so far. This product is a 5 star product. The remote is easy to use. I bought this sound bar because I want to enjoy this game on my 50" TV while also having good audio, so that's what led me to this sound bar. I am loving it so far. I watched a few movies on this speaker and it felt like I was in a movie theater. I am very happy with this. I can't recommend it enough. I'm not new to speakers or audio equipment, but I'm very technical and like to use them when they're on. Thanks to the 75 watt bass, the audio is crisp and sharp, the highs are great, and the lows are great. My brother has a $200 sound bar.
👤I let my friend listen to it. He was like that. Yes. I'm very happy with it.
👤The sound bar seems decent, but the sub looks like a piece of junk to me. I thought that the sub wasn't even powered. It has a single cable from the bar. The speaker is only about 4” in diameter. The port is moving forward. I want to give it an honest try before I return it. The sound bar has a good sound stage. It seems like it has better stereo separation than it actually does. I wanted a small TV stand so I bought this one. I don't think I'm disappointed. For size reference, the TV in the picture is 46” There is a sound bar. I am definitely keeping it.
👤This was amazing. It was clear and great. You have to know how to set up electronics in a way that doesn't cause problems. I read reviews of the sound bar and it was not good, but when I used it, it was a perfect TV speaker. Thanks.
👤A good soundbar that does its job. If you turn the volume up all the way on the system, you will hear a buzzing noise. If you max the volume on the soundbar, you'll get this annoying buzzing sound. You can hear it when the TV is off. If you have the money, buy a better brand. It does sound good, but the noise it emits when maxed out is an issue.
👤It has been easy to set up. There were no obnoxious voices when the power was on. The quality is decent for the price. We'll see how I feel after a while. I will update this with any new developments. It seems like a decent cheap Chinese soundbar in the meantime. Some people might care about the fact that the subwoofer doesn't have its own power supply, but those are fine with me.

You can use the Roku Tv remote to control both the tv and soundbar for a better navigation experience. The Hisense HS218 can connect to your Tv through a single HDMI cable, connect to a smart device through a wireless connection, and control both with one remote. You will be enjoying better TV sound. The Quick Touch EQ Modes give you the best audio performance from music, movies, and news with a simple touch of the remote. The Hisense 218 Sound Bar, HDMI cable, optical cable, and wall mounting kit are included to make sure that you have what you need to make the most of your audio experience.
👤The sound bar is malfunctioning. The unit will not be turned on by the remote. Plug the power in to make it turn on. The cables were changed and still no output. Eliminated the TV output and the cables by using a different speaker to test the speaker. The sound bar is dead on the inputs. Great sounding but two major issues. The stupid sticker on top of the bar was almost impossible to remove and left a horrible sticky film that was almost impossible to remove. The Hisense TV is connected to a second issue, which is that it is not designed to work together. Hisense TV won't just turn on and work if you connect to it. You have to go into the TV's settings to find a device to link and connect to. That was never said in the manual. It took me a long time to figure it out. If you want to use your existing Hisense TV remote to control the volume on the TV, you have to use the one with the soundbar which is retarded. I tried to connect an optical cable, but it didn't work, so I had to use the remote that came with the sound bar. The biggest problem I can't figure out is that when a show is paused for 10 minutes, the sound bar doesn't work again unless you turn off the TV completely and turn it back on again. This is terrible. Even though the Hisense has an option to turn off connected devices after a while, the soundbar still doesn't work. I would love to know how to stop this from happening. It sounds great and has easy sound settings.
👤My expectations about the function of this equipment were not realistic. I expected the sound bar to be better than the speakers on the television, but it wasn't as good as I thought. I would recommend this sound bar as it was not too expensive, but it does have limitations, at least in my view.
👤I refuse to buy another Bose due to their ridiculous non-warranty $100 repair fee, which is ridiculous when you consider that a $200 sound bar is not even necessary. Bose wanted to fix our solo5 but we decided to give our Hisense sound bar combo for $50 more. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the system I just installed. It can go louder than you would ever want to use, it has a good quality sound, and it has a bonus of bass. I think the Hisense is as good for less money as the Bose was, and it definitely is louder if needed. This is a major upgrade. I would recommend this for the price.
👤I was expecting something because of the brand. Then again the price. I am happy with the way it sounds. If you own a Hisense TV, I recommend it.
👤I had issues with the sound after purchasing this item. I was using a device. I switched the cable and it seemed to work again. It started doing it worse a month later. I would return to TV audio. I switched to optical cable but it still cuts out. The sound will stop and the light will blink a few times. I've tried all the basics. The manufacturer was past the return date so I tried to contact them. They are terrible. Someone will contact you in 48 hours. That didn't happen. They said it was in the headquarters and someone would call me. They wouldn't tell me how long it would take or when someone would contact me. They won't give you a number to call. Hisense has a rating. Their customer service is a problem. It was finally Amazon that stepped in. I eventually heard from Hisense Customer Service. I was willing to wait, but it took a long time. They contacted me and worked on the issues I had. I hope they will be quicker on customer service issues in the future. I like the product. It wasn't a good idea to return it because it didn't work. I couldn't fix it at the time. I now have another one. I hope I don't run into any issues.
A power hungry vehicle. For extra bass and punch, a 10-inch Dynamic Balance woofer and a directed port provide accurate bass with added depth. A perfect solution for a small room. Even at low frequencies, the sound is rich and deep, even at high volume. The speaker plays the most demanding nodes without any distortion. The power to 100 Watts of Dynamic Power can be doubled with the in-built 50- watt amplifier. This sub is highly durable and fit for use. It is easy to integrate with existing systems. Variable 80-160 Hz and 40-160 Hz frequencies. A sleek grille on the front, speaker and line-level inputs, as well as speaker-level outputs on the back, make this sub cohesive and complete!
👤The glowing reviews for the PSW10 came to me after I had gone through three smaller 8” subs. It was better than anything I had before, and it was every bit as good as they say. I was so impressed with the musical performance that I began budgeting for something even better. The PSW10 cost 5x more than the SVS SB12-NSD, but many forums claimed it was light years ahead of it. I found the claims to be exaggerated after breaking in my new SVS. It could reach down to a bone-rattling 15hertz, which I like, but may not be everyone's cup of tea. For every other attribute, the PSW10 was 80% the quality of the SVS. I had to replay a bunch of songs side by side with both subs and assign a 10% more tightness to the SVS. Maybe some people consider that last 10% improvement night and day, but I just call it 10%, as in only really noticeable when compared side to side. I agree with many other reviewers that the PSW10 is perfect. Nothing can be done at its price point.
👤I had a Denon receiver and ordered 2 of these. I figured I might as well try it. I read an article on an A/V forum that said that 2 lesser expensive woofers is better in a home theater than 1 single premium one, because it will fill the room better and matter less where you're sitting for how you hear the bass response. I am blown away. I have one on either side. They sound great with games, music and movies. Replacing my theater in a box sub sounds terrible. I watched the Dark Knight and it was crazy how much more powerful the guns, cars, and punches were with the better bass and music of the films. Weapons firing and explosions in games will shake the walls if you want them to. I'm sure a single one of these would be a huge upgrade over theater in a box subs, but with a pair, they really shine. Highly recommended.
👤I bought two of them because my Pro Sub 1000 died after 8 years. The purchase was based on the reviews. The receiver has two outputs. I decided to get two when I only had one. I was a bit underwhelmed at first. I was expecting a lot more bass, but it wasn't the case. It didn't have the same effect as my DT. I was expecting the cost of the DT to be under 200, but it is close to $500. After messing with the output of my speakers and receiver, I finally got a decent sound that I can live with. I have to keep the volumn on the subs to get the results I want. I only had to have half of it. I don't play music on my system, so I don't have a review of the sound quality. I'm glad I got two. There will be additional review after two days. I will now rate these as a 5 star after I realized that the lack of bass from these speakers was caused by an operator error. I didn't have the output to the sub turned up from minimal. Once I started cranking it up, I got more bass. Excellent. I can turn down the master volume on the speaker. The auto shutoff feature was malfunctioning. It wouldn't wake up on a signal return when it went into sleep mode. I didn't have a high enough output to the sub on my receiver. It works great after another issue was solved. Very happy with the purchase.
