👤I feel like this is more of a confession now. I have lost my mind and become a Klipsch junkie. I went off the deepend in just two months. Klipsch speakers and upgrades are on this list. The speakers have been great! I had to have more. The Klipsch RP-8060FA was recently purchased by me. The speakers on top of the reference premier are the same as the ones in the movie. Due to their size and weight, they are being delivered by a semi truck. I pick them up today. This will be the last update I do. The wife has no idea that I bought them. She is probably smarter than I think she is because I won these in a raffle. The sound quality of these speakers is a must have. I'll keep my R-26FA's in a different room. August 15th is an update. I lost my mind a month ago. Started with the speakers. I've bought a number of things since then, including two 12 inch Klipsch subs, a wireless denon receiver, and a 65in TV. The lady asked if I was done, but I hung my head and said no. Need surround sound for the RP-502's. I have never done drugs before, but I assume it is like being a crackhead. Just can't have enough! I've decided to upgrade my home stereo system. I went with the R26FA pair because of the price and my brother in law was talking about Klipsch speakers. I had one on Monday and one on Tuesday. As they arrived, I hooked them up. One speaker is a monster. I had 4 Onkyo tower speakers and one speaker blew them away. I was still in awe after having them both go. The 12in Klipsch sub was purchased by me, and it hit hard enough to rattle the dishes in the kitchen cabinets. The current center speaker isn't enough and that's what I noticed while watching movies. It's not a big speaker, it's not worthy of being plugged in. I wait for the center speaker to arrive. I'm buying all my speakers before I upgrade my receiver. I listen to a lot of music from classical to heavy metal and these speakers are great for it. Be warned, you will want more.
👤Good purchase. Hope they last.
👤I used to have large speakers that failed, but my replacements have always been small due to the small places I lived in. I moved into a small house with a big open living room. I never upgraded my speakers. I replaced my front speakers after they blew up. It made me a Klipsch fan. I replaced my 20-year-old HK receiver with a Yamaha 7850. That made the sound quality much better. 20 years of technology really makes a difference, even though the HK was great. I thought about getting full size speakers up front because I have a room now. I can use the 41Ms to get the floor standing up. I love the home theater experience and wanted to use the new receiver that was compatible with ATMOS. I found the Klipsch R-26FA floor standing speakers on Amazon after searching for them. I was surprised that you could get these with built in ATMOS. The R-26FA are the same as the R-26Fs, but with the addition of the ATMOS top mounted speakers. They bounce sound off the ceiling and provide sound all over the listening area. Atmosphere is referred to as ATMOS. If you want to add the ATMOS speakers to an existing system, you can buy them separately. The speakers are over 100 lbs. It was nice to get them on Prime as shipping would be expensive. It would be easier to set up two people than one, due to the weight. There are three binding post pairs. 2 more for the standard front firing speakers and 1 for the ATMOS speaker. The lower 2 are bridged so you can hook them up to a normal front speaker. You can bi-amp the two binding posts if you want. You can bi-wire them. I don't see much use in that, both post sets to the same terminals on the receiver. I am currently using the included bridge and it sounds good to me. I haven't tested the idea of removing the bridge and using wires to bridge it. Speaker covers give the speaker a nice look. If you don't leave them off, the gold and Klipsch horn look great. You can choose which look is better. I had to do some balancing to get the sound I wanted, but in the end it sounds great. Klipsch put the tweeters on top so they are ear level when sitting down. The bass is provided by the woofers, but my subs handles it nicely. The ATMOS speakers work, but it is not something that you will notice. I bumped the ATMOS sound up to increase the affect as I have a vaulted ceiling. They produce sound most of the time. Some games and movies are made for ATMOS. You will hear sounds coming from the top speakers, like a helicopter flying over your living room. I use my XBOX as my main source and it works well, but I had to install a Dolby app to use ATMOS. I am very happy with the new speakers and they are great for my living room. I use my system for more than just movies. I like to listen to music while I clean or study. The R-26FAs were exactly what I needed and were much cheaper than the current model. I recommend them for purchase.
You can stream music from the internet. Superb bass power and punch can be provided by dual 6-1/2" woofers. A dome with ferrofluid cooling. The tower cabinet won't overwhelm the room. The bass-reflex design has a deep bass. This price class has exceptional clarity and detail.
👤The reviews were really good and I was hesitant to buy them. I had an old Yamaha receiver and a cheap Victrola record player. I decided to hook this up. The sound from the phono was rough but not bad, and I thought it was just okay when I played the records. It was comforting to listen to a few records at low volume. I noticed a change in the quality of sound when I tried playing music off the tuner. The bass was better than the record player. After looking around in my old a/v box, I found a 3.5mm accessory that I used to play music from Spotify. The sound blew me away, the speakers just changed, and I played some Chop Suey, System of a Down, and even some Old Cat Stevens and Christopher. The speakers are worth the money. Do not get fooled by the price, hook these up to a nice source and it almost sounds as nice as a pair of Boston Acoustic speakers I still use in my game room. Cities in Dust and Blue Monday were played by the speakers and it sounded good. Great speakers.
👤I am floored by how good these sound. Purchase them now and enjoy! I think they are pretty. I'm going to buy my dad a pair of these. They sound good for everything. You can throw at it from any genre. Jazz stood out to me. If I close my eyes, the horns sound weird. Enjoy!
👤I've given away stereo equipment since the 1970s. I got rid of my equipment because I was too busy to listen. I can't afford the type of equipment I bought when I worked. I used to own a leftover Yamaha receiver in my garage. I bought the Yamaha speakers to go with it. I have a mini computer that is connected to my tv and I use it to watch services such as netflix and others. I also own a collection of mp3s. The Yamaha speakers are a good deal but I didn't like them very much. These speakers would have been great for my ears. My 69 year old ears are not as sensitive to the higher frequencies as my 40 year old ears are. I bought these speakers from Dayton Audio. Their bass is more suited to my ears now. I think 4.5 KHz has something to do with it. The dual 6.5" speakers help over the often 5.25" versions. I thought I would have to spend a lot more money to be happy. I have been with this setup for a month. I'm still happy. The Yamaha speakers only lasted for 2 weeks and I gave one of my kids a Yamaha speaker and he is very happy with it.
👤The Dayton T652 towers speakers are great. I received these a few days before the delivery date. The speakers are great for the price. People have their own tastes and opinions about brands. The results are fantastic, but it took me a little while to calibrate these with my receiver. If I were to do a blind test with these and a set of speakers from well known brands, many people would not be able to tell the difference. They sound good on all kinds of sound stage environments at various settings. I have to warn people that these towers are probably not protected and can cause interference with my TV remotes. I wouldn't take a star away since I can't compare it to a different brand.
2 Pack R-610F Floorstanding Home Speaker - Grille - 2 Feet, 4 Screws, Quick Setup Guide - Warrant Tractrix horn technology is exclusive to Klipsch and ensures that the R-610F high frequencies are aimed at the listener and not at the sound source. This technology gives you clarity, dynamics, and detail. The Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) has an aluminum tweeter that reduces distortion. Kapton is an extremely light and rigid material that is used in the tweeter suspension to improve resolution and detail. Klipsch speakers have a hallmark of LTS tweeters. The injection molded Graphite (IMG) woofer cones are extremely rigid and light, and provide a remarkable low frequency response. The speaker efficiency is the highest in its class when it is coupled with the Tractrix Horn-Loaded LTS Tweeter. The rear Tractrix port is perfectly matched to the cabinet and the lowest frequencies, creating ideal air flow with minimal distortion or turbulence.
👤The speakers are a nice addition to my home audio/video system. The sound is adequate for an entry level speaker. They are used as an accompaniment to my main speakers. They give added depth. The finishing touches are what I don't care about. It was a little too dull. It could have been more vibrant. The plastic support feet that lift the floor seem to be an unimportant part. The edges could have used a rounded effect. These things may seem small to some. I always believed that Klipsch was different from others because of their attention to detail. All-in-all they do suffice. I could have returned them, so why am I complaining? I wanted to let someone know my thoughts.
👤The sweet of the floor standing speakers were replaced with these. For about a month now. Excellent sound, deep bass, warm mid, very tinny highs. I can hear the instrument crystal clear when I am using a top of the line Denon avr to drive them. I had to turn off my subs to reduce the base. I don't recommend cinema as they can become too boomy for the movie action scenes. I use Fluance and MartinLogan subs for my movie theatre. The Klipsch needs to be mounted on the included base stand in order to get the best performance. I got a brand new pair for $250. Highly recommended.
👤The speakers are no exception and you get what you pay for. They are a pretty good deal, but don't expect them to compete with speakers costing $500 or more. I got these because of their 95db efficiency. The speakers are shaped like V's. The bass and treble were boosted. There is a hollow midrange. The speakers are better than the previous generations. If you buy these, pair them with a warm amplifier to push the midrange forward and roll off the highs. The speakers should be pointed into the room. The highs will kill you if you point them at the listening position. I use these with a tube amplifier that has KT66 tubes. The highs and ups of my amplifier. The combo gives a warm sound. If you're looking for a giant killer around this price, take a look at Tekton Speakers.
👤I wanted to replace my television speakers. They do the trick and are a no-brainer at $259/pair. I connected them to the Sony receiver with 16 gauge speaker wire and banana plugs. The audio is better than the old tv speakers.
👤It was easy and smooth. I own a pair of USA made Heresy 3s and needed a couple of towers for the basement to fit a 15” sub. Love it. The price is amazing and they sing. The winner.
👤I like the structure of the speakers. The weight shows the performance of the speakers. The wood has a magnetic cover. I like to display the speakers in a different way. I use them for a lot of things. I own the R-610F, the R- 400C, the R-120 SW, and a pair of R-41SA. The Denon 960H is a 2020 model.
Passive speaker design, simply drive power from your amplifier or receiver. The full range sound coverage is 150 to 20 kHz with 88 decibels. Black cabinets with spring loaded raw wire are sturdy and mountable. A big sound from a small speaker size. The power from your amplifier should be no more than 20 and no more than 200 watt per channel, the raw speaker wire should be used to connect your amplifier to the speakers. The box contains 2 Goldwood AA321B speakers, mounting brackets and an instruction manual. Use for home theater surround sound, whole house audio systems, business or retail installations, patios, decks, pool and spa settings.
👤I was looking for some speakers for the bedroom, but I didn't want to spend a lot. I was going to try these out since they've been getting good reviews. I would use them outdoors if they weren't good, since they state that they can be used there. They are perfect for my needs after I set them up in my bedroom. I bought four of them. The audio they put out is very clear, and can get very loud, even though bass is not present in the speaker. I decided to paint the speakers to match the wall color since I was experimenting with them. It took two coats, but I think they look better. Definitely recommend these.
👤The first set of speakers was the second set. The first set didn't work well, so I requested a new one. The second set does not work and I am not allowed to return them. Don't spend your money on these speakers. I would appreciate it if I could get a refund. Thank you.
👤The price has gone up $5 since I bought them for $23 a month ago. I recently bought a new receiver that had a sound system. I bought the bargain speakers to see if they could do the trick. These little guys work well for the added presence of ATMOS-encoded video. I have good speakers for my mains, subs, center channel and surround, so they don't have to do much. My home theatre room is 14'x30'. The final design must have been tested by someone with tiny hands because my pudgy fingers had trouble wiring the speakers up because of the tight squeeze around the wire clamps. I think they would work well in a smaller room. I would buy them again even if the price went up.
👤These speakers are great for money. They are perfect for the L and R surrounds because they are installed about 5 feet from our listening position on each side. They are great for ceiling mounted for Atmos. I don't think they have the power to bounce sound off the ceiling for up-firing Atmos, but if you have a low ceiling, I tested them and they will stand up vertically with the wall mounts. Make sure to tighten the screw on the back of the mounts. If you're willing to do it, it's a pretty low-risk experiment. I don't think they'd be great for a large room, but for condo surrounds, they're perfect.
👤I bought these to be back surround speakers for my 7.1 system, and they are well-suited for that role. I had 5.1 speakers and a 7.1 A/V receiver for years, and decided to finally expand to the full set of speakers. They have a good sound for their role, since they play a lot of sounds. They are good, average surround speakers. I added a star because it would be good for someone to expand their system on a budget.
👤You can't get better speakers for less. The sound these little guys produce will impress you. When I turned them on my wife and I was amazed at how clear and loud they sounded. They are amazing. You will think you paid more when you hear them.
Bookshelf speakers drive power from your amplifier or receiver. The full range sound coverage with balanced and shielded woofers, titanium coated, and ferro fluid cooled shielded tweeter, has a Frequency response of 45 to 22 kHz with 89 decibels. There are CARB Compliant MDF wood cabinets, black ash wood grain veneer finish, spring loaded raw wire connectors, and an acoustically transparent grill. A big sound from a small speaker size. The power from your amplifier should be no more than 10 watt per channel, the raw speaker wire should be no more than 200 watt per channel, and the amplifier should be no more than 100 watt per channel. 2 Theater Solutions by Goldwood B1 speakers are in the box. Home theater surround sound, whole house audio systems, business or retail installations can be used. The 5-way binding post was used.
👤The Garrard speakers that I bought these to replace have served me well. The Garrards were large and hard to follow. These are not as bright but they are still smooth and have more bass. I was indecisive between the two speakers. It would be nice to compare them side by side, but these looked like a good buy. I was pleased after listening to them for a week. They are the ticket for computer speakers. I'll be happy if they last 20 years. They are serious at 100w RMS and 200w peak power handling capacity. The cabinets are heavy and seem to be quiet. I haven't opened them up yet. They'll show me what they're worth eventually, because they're hooked to a 40w RMS amplifier. I have been letting them break in. I'm writing this while listening to Led Zeppelin's Celebration day.
👤I use these as rear/side speakers in my 5.1 setup, and I find the tweeter to be more noticeable to the point you want to turn them. I thought they'd make great rear speakers because of their clear/loud highs and ability to handle lower frequencies. I set my sound card to 65hertz. Minimum 8ohm is required for my receiver. The RX-V990. I use the fronts and center of the Boston Celtics. A 25 is a pair. The speakers are great for desk setup with the DCD tech. I'll just copy this over into here, because it's about the advanced ceramic/glass fiber polymer woofers with Deep Channel Design (DCD). The combination of Boston Acoustics as fronts and B1's as surrounds is working well. Boston Acoustics: Sensitivity 89dB Theater Solutions B1 would not use as desk speakers. Near field/ close would not be used. There is a new word for it. The best seller for the B1 is OnlyFactoryDirect.
👤Don't buy these speakers. There are many better choices for money. I bought these because they're an exact copy of the N 24 Series I, which is worse than a copy. My N 24's have 2 bars across the tweeter instead of 1 and they copied the JBL one. It was purchased out of curiosity. Lots of port noise is the only bad thing about sound quality. Like a lot. Even when the bass is sent to a speaker. The port on the back chuffs on my receiver is terrible, even with the bass cut off at 120 HZ, because it's so loud. Plug the port tube if you cross it at 200 HZ. The sound quality is pretty good even though it only has a scuplture on the tweeter. The box is very well built and the cabinet finish is nice. The surround is made of foam. The dust caps are not straight. The port tube is just a pipe with no flares in it, and it's a shame. Plugging the port tube makes it sound bad because there isn't enough room inside the cabinet for it to be sealed. The real JBL plays quieter than the real Tweeter. When I get a receiver that supports a 200 HZ sub, I will listen to them again. I liked the way they sounded, except for the port noise. I have stacks of extra speakers because I like to listen to different kinds of music. I can't recommend these to a normal person. If you are a fan of the Northridge series and also a mod, they are worth a look. If the port tube was replaced with a better engineered one they would sound better.
The cabinets are made with engineered wood to create a warm, distortion-free sound and a thick front baffle to decrease sound dispersion. The F-300 is a black label. The Klipsch 5 year limited warranty is on the standing speaker pair. Music and film sound reproduction are available in large rooms. Highly efficient design uses less energy. The sound is accurate and non-fatiguing. It plays louder than the competition.
👤The towers are very high quality. The seller was great and shipped quickly. So far, so good.
The cabinets are made from engineered wood to create a warm, distortion-free sound. A ribbon is being used to amplify a sound. Added detail. Enhanced clarity. Ribbon twitters have a lower distortion than traditional designs. The design of the tweeter gives you exceptional high frequencies, lower distortion, and greater clarity. There are two 6.5in Woofers. The bass is extended. There is more output. There isn't enough for one woofer. The bass response is extended by the dual Woofers. The bass response is delivered deep enough for most living spaces. The design is small. Won't dominate the room. The mp-t65rt speakers are small and won't dominate the room. The speakers are only 30in tall and have been engineered to sound great. The design has a porthole, speaker terminals, and grille. Monoprice's rugged design and rigid quality control standards deliver high quality products at fair prices. If you have questions about their products, or even suggestions for products to fit your needs, please contact their technical support team.
👤Considering the cost, it's completely amazing.
👤Good speakers. The bass is muddy. Better if you have a sub. Stereo music from a turntable is not recommended for a home theater setup.
👤Also zum Anfang gab es Probleme. Lautsprecher versptet. Is it possible that the word "man" is used in this picture? Hey Klasse Support, Muss aber. Probleme ist beantwortet. Es ist nett und freundlich. War is going on. Is gerne gerne?
It's easy to connect. Their speakers can be used to connect to your TV, PC or laptop. Powerful 30W speakers. The speaker system provides a sound that fills the room. Light illuminates your space and enhances your home theater. You can use the buttons on the sound bar to adjust the volume, play music or switch mode. Different colors of indicators mean different modes. You can stream your favorite music from your phone, tablet, or other device. Sits below the TV or securely mounts on the wall.
👤It looks cool. It was too quiet and my tv speakers sounded better since it looked cool with the lights.
👤The price is good and it looks cool. It works well, but it doesn't get as loud as I would like it to.
👤If you have a sleek TV it is almost necessary to have a separate sound system. TVs are thin with no room for large speakers. The speakers are usually on the back. The Monster Soundbar has a low-profile and comes with a remote control that can be used to power on, volume, play, pause, switch between lighting colors and modes, inputs and Bluetooth. The unit has some control built into it. The sounbar can be placed under the TV or on the wall. It could connect via the AUX port. The Monster Soundbar has several color options and mode selections. You could pick a color or pick a wave. The remote has controllable dimmer settings. The sound of my TV is better than that of the soundbar. I was expecting a Monster sound bar with a name like Monster to create a better audio experience than the tiny speakers on the back of the TV. I have a portable speaker with a bigger sound and a better bass than this one. There are similar priced units with better sound. Some of them have a separate sub, or have a HDMI port for music from an external drive. The Monster Soundbar is mostly for TVs. It is too wide to fit on many desks and it worked better as a PC speaker. Sound and lighting should be more important than they are.
👤I wanted to put it over my monitor. The sound from the speakers was very good. The stereo is great because of the wide separation. This is not very useful for use with a TV in a small room. If my PC is off, I loved the convenience of using a phone or iPod with my computer. It's easy to pair. I had to provide my own cable at a small price, and it was almost as good as the one that BT provides. The sound is clear and loud enough for me to sit at my computer desk. Not a lot of Bass. 2 screws and anchors are provided for the mounting. It can sit under a TV. If you don't try for a tight screw to the soundbar back, it will lean down a bit. If mounted to the wall like I did, it will aim the sound down a bit. The lighting is bright, multicolored, and can be set with the remote control from off to on in many patterns and color schemes. I provided my own batteries for the remote, which will control the inputs and play. A small wall wart provides Soundbar power. The instructions are very good. I love the improvement over my monitor speakers. I recommend this Monster Store Soundbar: Home Theater with Multicolor Led Lights, 30W Speakers, Remote Control, and Optical AUX Connection. It's ideal for close up use with my PC. I hope you find the information helpful.
The speaker system that you will be surrounded by is matched with a 5 speaker system. Premium 1" neodymium balanced silk dome tweeters, ferrofluid cooled for vibrant high-frequency response; 4" poly-coated midrange drivers with butyl rubber surrounds for rich, clear sound performances Powerful dual 6.5" woofers produce high definition sound. The construction of the audio-grade wood for reduced cabinet resonance and reproduction of natural sound is precision-crafted. Lifetime parts and labor manufacturer's warranty with lifetime customer support.
👤I was looking for good speakers for a 7.2 surround sound, since I already had two towers. I found these Fluances, looked at the price, and thought to myself, "These can't be good." I feel ripped off. In a good way. I bought some speakers that I thought would be worth a try, but I ended up getting some really nice speakers instead. Some low end speakers were ordered. I was very happy with the hi-fi speakers that were received. I have a couple home theater setup and I know what I'm talking about. The one with the Fluances is worth a lot. I will be furious if they haven't all been put in, but these speakers should not be standing and holding their weight. The bookshelves are tiny but have a lovely sound. The towers are my favorite. I will warn you that you have a stalker. I have a 300w Klipsch that I used with them and it makes it sound amazing. I will admit that these speakers struggle with low end. Give them time to break in. I was disgusted when I first fired them. I was impressed after two days. I'm very impressed after a few more days.
👤I wanted to have my speakers for a while before I left a review. I listen to this system for 6-7 days a week for 1-2 hours a day. I like to listen to classic rock and jazz. I like to watch movies with my surround sound system. I am very impressed. Boston Accustic micro-110x speakers have a B A PV350 sub. I became bored with the lack of sound with that system. The Fluance system can be entered. The improvement in the sound stage is dramatic. It took me a while to get the best sound from my speakers and receiver. The hassle has been worth it. I found the speakers bright and tiring to listen to. There was no mid-range or bottom end. Why don't you keep them? The answer is to add a sub and adjust the receiver's bass output to 6 out of 10, then pull the fronts off the wall. I'm in love. The speakers need break-in. For a very modest investment, you will get a great reward if you play with your set up. The delivery was fast and double boxing protected the shipment. Don't be sorry if you buy them.
👤When I was looking for a set of replacement home theater speakers, I didn't know much about Fluance. It looked like anyone who made anything remotely good was more interested in their own product than the value it gave. I took a chance on Fluance after a lot of research. I know about quality, but am not very picky when it comes to my own costs. I value good audio, but not at some diminishing returns area where stellar is great, but largely wont justify the costs unless you have money to burn. The Fluance comes in. The build and sound of the car are very good. It was easy to setup and packaging made sure it arrived safely, but not overly engineered to cause a lot of waste. I added 2 more surround rears after I loved the package so much. The overall appearance is above the price range. The output companioned with the Yamaha is amazing. The speakers were clear of distortion after a few hours of break-in. A pair of Polk 10 inch subs were added for better stage feel up front and working with a 150 inch projection 4K setup. I would recommend others to buy from me again. For that great sound, but not a lot of costs that seem to be pervasive in home audio and prosumer choices.
A/B/C - DVD: 012345678 You can use it to create an amazing audio experience in your own home. The features include a main tweeter of 1 inch, a 34" super tweeter, and a 6 Ohm speaker impedance. The speaker design and cabinet design have rich acoustics. High-res audio is used for sound reproduction. There is a bundle included. The Sony SSCS3 Stereo Floor- Standing Speaker Pair is a bundle.
👤I don't write many reviews for Sony and the other mega-corporations, they seem to be doing well without any help from me. I was looking for a pair of passive floor-standing speakers when I came to Amazon, but I also wanted a pair of Klipsch 2-ways or whatever I could afford, so I looked for 3-way speakers first, then I settled for a pair of Klipsch 2-ways for I didn't expect to find any 3-ways for that money. I was not very fond of these Sonys at first. I have had more video equipment from Sony than any other company, and I am a fan of their cameras. But speakers? No. Definitely not. For some reason, Sony didn't crack the speaker market. They seem to have been making mass-produced mediocre speakers for the department store market. They sucked. These were cheap and the reviews were good. The 40k speakers that Sony produced in the year of 2014) were some of the best I've ever heard. They came out with these after they renewed to audio. I was looking for a pair of good speakers for under 1200, not a pair of "OK" speakers. I was hesitant at first. I connected them to my 140w/ch Marantz 2 channel power amplifier through a vacuum tube preamplifier. These are great speakers. They go all the way up with my black Marantz. I hear parts of the mix that I have never heard before. These speakers sound excellent, because of the clean layer of sound they provide. For more than double the price, as good or better than speakers. Sony, you did it again. It doesn't seem like anyone knows, but you broke out of the department store with your speakers, and they are the best deal I've gotten on new equipment in a while.
👤Sony has made great speakers before. I gave my daughter the speakers that I bought 15 years ago because she loves them and they were good. I have a pair of small bookshelf ones for my new apartment, but my soundbar was not up to par when playing my external hard drive. I was torn between these and similar Polk speakers. I bought these slim ones because they fit nicely in my place and wouldn't cause the house to fall down. These are crisp and have little punches of bass, but nothing to brag about. The highs are clean and the sound is good. Movies are really good. I have nothing bad to say about these speakers and would recommend them to anyone. I have converted my mp3's to the highest quality 320 mbps because of my particular sound for my music. Rock on.
👤I bought a bundle with 2 front towers and a speaker. I have to buy another center channel to pair with the tower speakers because I end up using them as back sorround. I almost returned them because they are too small for my living room, but I found it cheaper than buying back sorround speakers. The sounds are great for a small room. The sounds are clean and crisp. I found that they sound better with speakers with a separate active sub set to a low volume to help with the bass. The bundle speakers from Sony are very good for the price.
The floor standing speaker with Hi-Res Audio is perfect for your home theater or music listening setup. A speaker with a three-way coaxial, four-driver speaker system will amplify your audio experience. The complete range of Sony speakers, including 2 tower speakers, 1 center channel speaker, 2 bookshelf speakers, and 2 SSCSE Dolby Atmos enabled speakers, are perfect for a 5.1.2 home theater setup. 34 in. The super tweeter and 1” tweeter reproduce high frequencies. Deep, stable bass and detailed mid-range sounds are delivered by dual 5.12” woofers. The componentry creates a clear sound. The maximum input power is 145 W. One speaker per carton.
👤I like and can tell the difference between good and bad audio components, even though I am not a techie. I have a couple of very expensive home theater setups that use power conditioners and Sony ES components with ridiculous costing and speaker wiring out to Polk LSi speakers and Polk subs. The setup on my desktop is very modest, using a V2 50x50 amplifier and a P1 tube pre-amp with upgraded tubes. All are connected with 12ga twisted pair speaker wiring. I use my laptop to stream audio via the internet. An inexpensive but clean setup. I've been using my LSi7 $800/pair bookshelf speakers and BIC F12 sub for a while. Maybe overkill for a desktop setup. These Sony 3 ways are on sale for $73/pair. They have good reviews. I wanted to get my LSi7's back to their surround positions so I decided to try them out. I was not excited because I was expecting a change in sound. It is a desktop setup for listening at lower volume levels, so I didn't want to spend a lot. Let me tell you something. My Polk LSi7's sound better than the Sony SSCS5 speakers. A better soundstage and better separation make this more detailed. How can this be? For $73.00 for a pair. Come on. I can't believe how good these are. I am listening to an album. I am amazed and flabbergasted. I think I will be doing my critical listening at my computer. I need to see a therapist.
👤I bought these on Amazon for $118. How good could a pair of speakers be? Let me tell you something. It comes to mind. I've been listening to music for 40 years. My method for buying speakers has always been to listen to the best speakers available, ones that I couldn't possibly afford, then work my way down into speakers that are within my budget, but sound as close as possible to my "dream" speakers. These speakers are solid, well-made, and have an incredibly warm and accurate sound. They can easily compete with speakers up to the $500 price range, well compete is not the word, but blow the doors off speakers in that price range is more like it. If you had no idea what speakers you were listening to in a side-by-side comparison, you may find yourself choosing the cheaper ones. That's correct! I said it! It had to be said. I don't know what Sony did to these little buggers, but they are magnificent. The price has gone up one week later and is not just on Amazon. They jumped $30 over night, but are they still worth it? I would pay double after hearing them. I am using them as main speakers in a two-channel scenario, not as surrounds. They are not even "broken in" yet. If you're looking for bookshelf-sized speakers, look no more. Don't let the low price fool you. Cheers!
👤I have experience with speakers in all ranges and have a lot of knowledge about how audio works. There are a few common issues that put me off as a listener, which these speakers have done a great job of avoiding. The speakers under $500 are usually not good because they don't mix well with the loudspeaker in the cabinet and sound like another miss-matched speaker placed on top of your much better mid/low range speakers. They are loud and sound like they are making noise. The sound quality is reduced when the dust protection panel is on. The bass lacks a proper tone. The bass is weak. Bass has a good tone, but relies too much on the addition of speakers that produce lower quality lows/mids. Audio suffers greatly when not placed in the absolute most optimal position, which restricts placement or quality, because of 3-way crossover. I expected to hear at least one of the common problems, even with the good reviews and research. I am blown away by how well these speakers handle these issues. Up close, far away, with a sub, without, placed properly or improperly, used with other speakers or alone, these two mini-monsters absolutely crush all of these issues and sound good while doing it. I'm very critical of audio and I'd have to be prepared to spend 600 dollars on an upgrade if it was worth it. I have these connected to an amplifier and are in a large room with it. I think 6 off the rip. These go above and beyond just making a few right decisions, and are perfect for this size speaker in a home theater. These had all the good design choices. I would highly recommend these if your amplifier can do 6 Ohms. The volume and atmospheric resonance in these are comparable to 8 Ohm 350 watt speakers, so 100 watt is something my power bill is happy to adopt. I'm not worried about ripping them apart because these barely break a sweat, producing a loud, high quality, detailed sound. I will be using these for music at house parties as well as for movies and gaming and so far I've tested them for all three and have yet to be disappointed. I don't recommend these speakers as side speakers as they are too much in your face. Side and rear are different ball games. You could definitely order 6 of these and use them as surround, front, and rear speakers; you just need to equalize them properly. I'm proud to say I own these and I'm even more proud to tell people what I spent on them. These aren't just good for how much they are, they're also great. Unless you're willing to spend a lot of money, there's little-to-no audible difference between these and other very high end speakers and I recommend getting these speakers if you need bookshelf sized speakers. If we completely ignore price and consider 10 the best sound, we will get a final verdict of 8.5/10. If I factor in price and give in to my bass-head type personality, I'll be happy. 98% of the world would consider perfect audio to be a perfect SOB, so 10/10 for anyone who isn't the pickiest SOB in the world. The bass on these are very good and I am talking about what you would expect from a Home Theater speaker. Unless you want to get those huge cabinet speakers that you see in theaters, you are never going to get a sub bass out of a front channel speaker. You aren't meant to, and for good reason. They handle bass incredibly well and do not need a sub to hear it. Please don't think these can replace a speaker. They're called sub- "woofers" because they push air so hard. That's not bass, it's an artificial effect. It's been 2 years and still going strong. Everyone who hears how good this system sounds is blown away, even though I know a lot about the best ways to setup and get the most out of my speakers. Everyone is encouraged to get a setup after hearing how good it is. These compliment my center channel and other speakers as well. I mix these with other speakers and it works. I've been pushing these configurations hard on a weekly basis. I think they work no matter what I do. I am happy to say that the room I have has no tendency to pick up dust, as I haven't had to clean it in a long time. There are a lot of things there. I don't think people understand how rare it is to find a speaker like this in this price range, so I wish I could give these more stars. Hats off to the engineers in Japan that designed this, you guys deserve a pay raise.
