1. Klipsch CDT 5800 C II Ceiling Speaker

Klipsch CDT 5800 C II Ceiling Speaker

China is the country of origin. Integrated whole-house Audio systems are becoming more popular.

Brand: Klipsch

👤Amazon bought 2 from amazing deals online. One doesn't work at all. Contacted Klipsch. Klipsch told me that the deals on the Amazon website do not qualify for warranty coverage. Don't buy from amazing deals online.

👤A huge improvement over my existing speakers. The rest of the system was already Klipsche, but I had some 5in Yamahas in the ceiling. I got these because I blew one of them out when I watched The Matrix in high definition. It was worth every penny. I want to make it a 7.2.4 system, but I have a problem with that. This home theater bug is so bad.

👤I replaced three of the speakers. The speaker cost the builder around $100-150. I wasn't happy with the sound of the tin can. I just needed to enlarge the cut out for the speakers to make it easier to install. For the first time, I could hear the whole spectrum of music when I turned on the music. The sound of these is amazing and inspired me to write this review. The back surround speakers need to be replaced. I like the speakers so much that I'm going all in, even though the 6 is fine for the back channels.

👤These are my first atmos speakers. I installed these with a Marantz. The speaker is moving. It's especially important when mounted in line with my tower speakers that are 10 feet apart. It's nice to be able to play with the position of the speaker. I'm not sure if I can hear a difference when changing the angle. The speakers produce a powerful sound. I am very happy with them. The rest of Klipsch speakers balance very well. The magnetic grills look better off. The speakers in the ceiling are black and gold. The sound that is coming from them is very pleasing to me. The upgrade was worth the time and money. These speakers add to the experience.

👤It was easy to install using the enclosure. Will update after using the Denon software. 4 of these are used for height speakers in a dts:x/Atmos setup. I did some sampling. I may have to upgrade my other channels. It never ends.

👤Acquired a few of these for a whole-house sound system, replacing some original "builder-grade" speakers that sounded bad. The first thing one notices is the misleading marketing, these do not have 8 inch diameter speakers. The rigid center part is 5-3/4". The speakers they replace sound worse than these. Fix a loose wire inside the ceiling is not a trivial task, but you don't have to have any screws to tighten it. Installation appears to be easy, just don't overtighten to crush the drywall, and templates for cutting are included. Magnetic covers are great. Is the price worth it? Not sure. It seems high to compare what one can get in a shelf speaker format. The problem of lousy sound quality was solved by these, and they work well for background music.

👤These speakers are amazing when used for surround sound. The sound quality is great. You can angle the speaker.

2. Polk Audio 265RT 3 Way Speaker

Polk Audio 265RT 3 Way Speaker

Crystal clear sound with a deeper bass for a cinematic experience. The 265-RT In-wall speaker comes with a 6.5" mid/woofer and a 1" Silk Dome loudspeaker. Use this 3-way speaker as a left/right speaker or rear speaker in a 3.1, 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 channel system to offset reflective surfaces with no sound distortions. The perfect fit template, pre-construction brackets, and the patented rotating cam ensure secure installation. The loudspeaker goes into the wall to give you a clean, clutter-free look. You can paint the sheer grille in any color you want, and it will stay in your home decor. Polk is one of the most trusted names in home audio. You can relax and listen with your heart if you bring out the best in surround sound systems.

Brand: Polk Audio

👤I ordered the components of my theater system upfront so I wouldn't have to worry about it. I would keep everything at my finger tips. You can't return anything after 30 days if you got a bad product. This is too short of a period of time. When I called Polk to see if they would honor their warranty, they refused to send me a new speaker and instead sent me some parts to disassemble and repair.

👤The speakers come with a template for the perfect hole and layout for your room. The grills are very low profile, and the mesh is very fine with a high-end look. The speakers were secured firmly to the wall. I used these for my fronts in a 5.1.2 system, which was matched with the Polk 255crt. I am blown away by the sound after calibrating my levels. These produce clarity in both instruments and voices. The transition from one speaker to the next is perfect. I highly recommend these for anyone looking to install a clean in-wall system.

👤The speakers are still performing without issue three years later. These things still sound amazing behind my theater screen a year later. Stop if you have doubts. Place them all vertically for your L-C-R front soundstage if you buy three of them. You will not regret it. The speakers are awesome. I have three of them in my home theater and they sound amazing.

👤I've owned a pair of Vega's since 1998. At the time, they were top of the line. I thought they were still at the top. No, no! The Polk speakers are large and open. The sound stage is almost 3-D. Wow! I've been missing a lot over the years. The vocal cords are clear. It sounds great. Metal, Rap, and other electronic music can be hit and miss. You will definitely want a sub. Movies are also great. I have 3 of these in my house. They use your wall as the enclosure, so there is only one downside. They are not "dialed-in" perfectly. The foam plug insert is used to compensate. It becomes an acoustic speaker.

👤I was glad I put 3 of these behind the screen. If you have enough space, do it. There is a reason for choosing polk. I like the fact that he hits with a deep clean bass. I used to be a big fan of bose. The quality of Bose has gone down over the years. Polk audio is a better comparison to Bose. The difference? Polk prices are reasonable. I still have two. Hopefully they sound good in the ceiling. It is not the same polk as the other fronts. I went with the rc-80i. The speakers were loud and clear. If you run these as fronts, get yourself a nice sub. These are perfect for my SVS.

👤After a long argument with my wife, I agreed to get rid of my 20 years old Wharfedale Valdus towers that are taking too much space. I would say 265-RT is perfect if I didn't compare it. They are hidden in a wall. Polk sounds like Chiwawa against German Shepherd. The sound is crisp and deep. It's very good for the movie theater setup. For the first time, I will consider sub-woofer. My dear wharfie, farewell...

3. Acoustic Audio HD728 Ceiling Surround

Acoustic Audio HD728 Ceiling Surround

Not all TV's have an Audio-out jack. The transmitter may need to be connected to a cable or satellite box. A 9 piece home speaker set includes 4 wall speakers and 2 ceiling speakers. Butyl rubber surrounds, round cut out, and low profile housings. The cut out is 19.25" X 7.5" and the depth is 3.25". 2 HDS10 wall passive Sub speakers, 200-300w each, 26hz-200hz, 10" Woofers, cut out is 10.625" X 10.625", overall is 12 X12", depth is 3.75", these passive subs require a Ws 1005 Sub amplifier This listing is for a complete 9 piece wall and ceiling speaker set.

Brand: Acoustic Audio By Goldwood

👤Each of the subs will need an independent amplifier to provide power to them. If you have an audiovisual receiver that can provide Pre Amp Outs, you can connect your speakers to an external amplifier. We put in a pair of front speakers along with a pair of back speakers. Behind our listening area, we installed 2 rear speakers, 1 sub, and one round in the ceiling. The other round was above the other seating area. We were able to verify the ceiling speakers were working and generate tones using the AV receiver YAPO because we didn't hook up the subs to the audiovisual system. I wouldn't purchase this product. The system looks complete and the seller says that only 2 Amp products will work and make it work. The use of passive subs would be a problem with this speaker package. Pre Outs are only available for active subs in the majority of the receivers you will see. I bought a Rockville amplifier that I thought would provide enough power for both subs. After reading previous reviews and questions about other buyers concern for the amplifier for the subs, I was not able to verify if other users were able to use other Amps besides what the seller recommended. I waited until our living room was renovated to install the speakers and wires for our audiovisual system, so I am out of the return period. I left questions for other buyers and their reviews, so I was not able to get a reply or support for this product. It turns out that a purchase was made under good intentions. It is very embarrassing to show friends and family what you have purchased and only able to enjoy tones from all speakers and have no subs as they remain in the wall as "Display Only". The money, time, and research spent before purchasing was not what you were expecting. My recommendation is that if you want a 5.2 or 7.2 speaker configuration for your home theater, you should not buy from this seller and build your own. This purchase is not meant for you unless you know how to use passive and active speakers. The seller will want you to purchase their own Amps for each sub, no matter what speaker system you buy. You can find 2 front speakers, 2 matching rear speakers, 2 additional wall or ceiling speakers, and 2 active subs that can be hooked from your audio equipment. The tech support you expect is poor. The reviews from other buyers are more than 3 years old. I don't think this was an honest purchase, so I can't give an honest review. If you understand passive and active subs, the product may fit your needs. This purchase was not for me. I probably wasted money on the external amplifier I bought because it wasn't recommended by the seller. The seller told me that the only amplifier that will work for this speaker set is the WS105. The Pre Outs from your receiver are used to connect your subs to the outs of the amplifier. Let me know if other people are able to do this work. Before buying, please do more research. Just finished hooking up the 5 man speakers to a Yamaha and the Rockville RPA 9 Amps and the Pre Outs of the Sub 1 and Sub 2 to the input of the Yamaha. The performance was so good that the sub woofers ran out of Rockville, Stereo, Low Pass and turned the system on. I felt like I was on stage when they were so loud. I would buy it.

4. Bose Virtually Invisible Ceiling 742897 0200

Bose Virtually Invisible Ceiling 742897 0200

The Bose in-ceiling speaker has a strategically positioned 1" tweeters. Most other speakers can't match the quality of this performance. Stereo Everywhere speaker performance covers the room with balanced stereo sound-no drop-offs. A near-bezel-less construction blends nicely into the room's design. Installation is fast and easy with the standard dogleg grilles. The speaker is about 10 feet in diameter. The ceiling hole is 219mm. Speaker grilles are in the box.

Brand: Bose

👤We bought 6 of the 791 in ceiling speakers and they had no base sound and we got the worst customer service ever from BoSE. When we called the number we were told it was our equalizer, but we were told it was the 301 speakers that worked great on the same system.

👤The cheap plastic red tabs that shear off during installation renders the speaker useless as the can't be installed. Bose told me to buy a new pair after I called to get replacement parts. This is what you get for $600? So disappointed! I wrote a review on the Bose website, but it was removed because it was not good. I can't believe they didn't design these parts for replacement Don't buy if you're warned.

👤The speakers are ok but not great. I hate them because they are not invisible and look worse than your average speaker, but I have them installed in a white ceiling so they look better. Bose stuck their enormous logo on it. They want you to pay $300 more for a speaker that has better sound quality than a piece of beige cloth. The sound quality isn't great and has little to no bass, also, these speakers need to be wired through the ceiling for a clean look which can't be done without professionals and is a potential fire hazard. The speakers need an amplifier. I can't justify spending $600 for a pair of ugly things in my ceiling.

👤I will buy the same sound again for my loft sound set up. I have mounted the fill above me and it works great. The sounds in movies have me thinking that they are coming from inside my house. Love it. bose soundtouch 300 is amazing on it's own.

👤They are a great set of speakers, but they are a bit high on the price. I wish I had the 500 series to compare them to the Bose speakers, they have a hefty price tag. They are low profile on the ceiling for their size, but not really sure they are worth the price.

👤Good speakers, but expensive. They should be grouped with Bose Soundbar and bass modules.

👤My living room has a new addition. The response time was 40 to 16kHz. The bi-directional tweeters fill up a great room and produce decent bass. The Sonance 6.5" speakers were a great improvement. Allow for listening. It was easy to install. It is a nice aesthetic. A great sound, but a bit pricey.

👤They work well. I had my contractor install them for me. I'm very happy with them and my wife is more important.

👤These are the things that make money. It's a bit pricey, but look great and sound great.

👤It's easy in Kaiser HaloX Dosen. Habe sowohl die groen as well as die kleinen in grerer Stckzahl. Im Gestern ist schn flach und magnetisches Gitter. Sound: Ohne Sub. Preis/Leistung: Ohne, hren, wrde, das nchste mal Magnat, hnliches. Sonance. The Vergleich hat bereits in the Sonos Beam.

5. ELAC IC DT61 W Ceiling Theater Speaker

ELAC IC DT61 W Ceiling Theater Speaker

Andrew Jones is an audio designer. Jones designed custom drivers. There are 6.5-inch woven aramid-fiber woofers with large magnets and vented pole pieces. There is a custom seven-element crossover. A deep-spheroid custom waveguide is used.

Brand: Elac

👤These speakers are more than I could have asked for, from great quality, amazing sound, and the ability to direct sound into the room. I think the speakers are underpriced. Click the button to add to cart.

👤They were used for a 5.1.2 system consisting of B6.2 fronts, C5.2 center, Bic PL-200 II sub, and OW 5.2 rears. Superb sound!

6. Acoustic Audio CS IC83 Ceiling CS IC83 5S

Acoustic Audio CS IC83 Ceiling CS IC83 5S

The wide sound dispersion designed speakers are easy to integrate with new and existing audio systems. The full range 3-way sound is made of Poly cone woofers with progressive spiders and butyl rubber surrounds, Poly Mica midranges and 13mm soft dome tweeters. The mounting system is easy to install and fits the speaker hole size. The power from your amplifier should be no more than 10 and no more than 350 watt per channel, and the speaker wire should be wall certified. The box contains 5 acoustic audio speakers by Goldwood, removeable grills, cut-out templates, and an instruction manual. Home theater surround sound, whole house audio systems, business or retail installations can be used.

Brand: Acoustic Audio By Goldwood

👤I prewired my house for speakers. I moved in December and have been researching in-wall and in-ceiling speakers ever since. I was prepared to spend about 1.5-2k on brand name models. I was going to gamble with a set of 5 to see how they would sound in my living room. I have 10ft ceilings so I went with 8' 3-way speakers. This is one of the best purchases I have made in a while. Once you have secured the speaker to the wall, you should install the cover grill. The first speaker took me about an hour to install, but the rest were much easier once I learned how to use the saw. The plastic frame of the grill cover may have warped after you mounted the speaker to the ceiling, so it was a challenge to re- install it. The grill will be hard to fit if the hole is too snug. I made a crease on the lip of the grill cover with a pair of needle nose pliers. I grabbed about a quarter of the lip and turned 90 degrees on all 4 sides. The grill will fit in a little easier if the circumference is reduced. Don't twist too much. After I connected my speakers to my receiver, I played some tunes on stereo mode so I could stand below each speaker, and was immediately impressed. Good bass, mids and highs. The boom factor was added with the addition of a 10" sub. I need 9 speakers, but I can get them at a fraction of the price of higher end brands. I will save 1.5k with these speakers.

👤I wanted to install a surround sound system. I had already purchased a set of speakers at the electronics store, and they were a fraction of the price. I read the amazing reviews, did some research, and decided to take a shot at them. I'm glad I did. I don't know how these speakers are so cheap, but the reviews are honest and I think they are great.

👤These speakers are not good. For the money. A name brand speaker system is installed for $700+ in our home theater. The speakers produce sound that is comparable to the more expensive set. We installed these in the patio and are enjoying them. These work great with a Sony/Yamaha receiver. When you listen to music and watch a movie, the sound is perfect. Watching a movie outside is great. I am glad we chose to give these because they are rated for both inside and outside use.

👤The speakers are better than I thought. There is a great full bass and great highs in an 8" speaker. I don't have subs yet, but I have a 5.1 surround sound system. I set up my Sony receiver because it was an option and it sounds full. I might not bother with a sub for a while. The value and sound performance is not up to par for this price. I would recommend anyone. It's good to have good build quality. There is no sticky strips to help grilles stay in. They would have more pressure in the opening if I had bent mine out a bit.

7. Polk Audio Ceiling Speakers Placement

Polk Audio Ceiling Speakers Placement

The overhead speakers that elevate the sound quality are timbre-matched. Adding a home theater set up or building your own Polk collection is a good way to improve your sound. Experience more balance and life-like sound with an 8" Dynamic Balance woofer and a 1" aimable tweeter. Wide dispersion is created by mineral-filled cone and strong driver baskets. The rubber seal drives are a key feature for use in a bathroom, kitchen, and closet. In 3 simple steps, you can get these speakers out of the box and into the ceiling. If you want to make the grilles disappear, leave the paintable aluminum grilles as is or spray paint them. One of the most trusted names in home audio speakers and entertainment systems is Polk. They bring out the best in technology so you can relax and listen.

Brand: Polk Audio

👤They live up to the hype. I have realistic expectations for outdoor wall-mounted speakers. I wanted to mount these on my patio, so I bought them. These sound nice for speakers in a non-ideal location. Good bass and smooth midrange. After a day of playing at a loud volume, they broke in and sounded a bit better. It was still a surprise for me. Give them a good crank and let them play for a day or two before you evaluate them. I don't understand why you would use a spring-clip speaker input. Simple spades would be better. I like to solder in a ceiling or wall. If you don't connect more often, spring clips are useless. The stupid spring clip terminals have a Minus 1 star.

👤Over the last 10 years, we've been cranking out music and movies. I have 5 of these mounted in the ceiling. I installed them in 2007.

👤I bought six of these speakers and a Polk Audio 255C-RT center channel speaker to switch my surround sound set up from traditional floor/shelve speakers to in-ceiling. They were bought based on reading reviews and not wanting to pay more for Bose. The speakers sound like a dream. Once you plot out where to find them, it's very easy to install. I was able to do a self install project because of the attic space above my great room, which I was able to use to make sure there were no obstructions in my preferred locations. It turned out well. These speakers are excellent.

👤We had pre-wired the house for speakers. The builder over charged us to install cheap speakers. I love the sound of the Polk bookshelf speakers. Very clear highs. I bought these first so I could listen to them. Polk puts quality in their speakers big and small. They were easy to install and sound great. A decent amount of bass from a small speaker and perfect highs and mids. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend it.

👤They were installed in the kitchen. They were easy to install and had good construction. It is a nice feature. These speakers can't reproduce the sound quality of bookshelf speakers or freestanding monitors, but that's not what they are for. It's not a sub, so low end frequencies are missing. It's great for casual audio solutions. The speakers can be used to listen to music in the kitchen, bathroom, or garage. You'll need to spend a lot more to get speakers up to that task, so I wouldn't suggest installing them in a home theater setup.

👤I used the Yamaha to power it so I could listen to music in the kitchen. It sounds muddy. I connected it to the old Denon 3805 receiver because of something that was wrong with the receiver zone 2. It still sounds terrible even with the help of a graphic equalizer. The Z130 computer speaker sounds better. When I bought this speaker, I didn't know it was a decade old. Don't buy it for ATMOS. The dispersion is weak and you have to be under the speaker. It is not possible to meet the recommended 45 degrees.

8. Sonos Ceiling Speakers Architectural Listening

Sonos Ceiling Speakers Architectural Listening

Sonance has speakers for ambient listening. The sound is crystal clear and you can listen to it anywhere in the room. The wired speakers can be powered with Amp for the full experience. Amp unlocks Trueplay, which takes into account the size, construction, and layout of the room where the speakers are placed and adjusts for the best possible sound. The grilles can be painted to match the ceiling. Sonance and Sonos have collaborated on a collection of passive architectural speakers that are compatible with the Sonos Ampere. A home sound system that brings every room and everyone together can be created by connecting the speakers in different rooms.

Brand: Sonos

👤The Sonance in wall 5.1 systems requires more equipment and a 3rd party interface, which is not as good as the new Sonos tv. Plug and play. The new 18 year olds have a native Apple TV app. Don't need Apple TV anymore.

👤You could get better speakers for less money. The speaker isn't as good as they advertised. Call the sonos and ask them to give you the speaker specification that they don't give you. The basic and general product information is provided by any legitimate store or product in the world. Before you buy speakers, you have to know how to use them. What are the responses to sensitivity and Impedance? You can compare these to any other speaker you can find. I called sonos and they said they couldn't give it to me because they didn't have it. It is a scam.

👤I was disappointed that I had to pay more for an amplifier when I bought it.

👤The Sonance speakers were used in the Amazon Warehouse. Others were advertised as being in better shape. I went with the cheapest option, saving over $200. I thought that they could either work or not, and that the grilles could be damaged. I could return them if nothing else. The box was taped back up quickly after it showed obvious signs of damage. When I opened the box, I was surprised to see that the speakers were brand new and undamaged. I installed them in my ceiling and have enjoyed them for a couple of weeks. 100% satisfied. Did I mention it already? I saved over $200. Sometimes you get lucky.

👤The sound quality of their speakers is not as good as Garbage's. Don't spend the money.

👤It is overpriced for the sound quality. The quality of my other products is striking. Will return this one.

👤Awesome product. It's easy to install. I'm going to order 6 more pairs.

👤I wish the Arc was in stock. Great brand!

👤The Compagnie de transport is a Compagnie de transport with a signature. Vous devez avoir des cbles. The vendeur charges for the frais de restockage de 30% on Amazon. Ont des lois et ce vendeur.

👤Producto mis expectativas.

9. Klipsch CDT 5650 C II Ceiling Speaker

Klipsch CDT 5650 C II Ceiling Speaker

The Cerametallic Woofer is 6.5 inches in diameter. Horn- loaded technology. CDT is a controlled dispersion technology. The switches are for midbass and Treble.

Brand: Klipsch

👤These speakers are great. The sound is crisp, rich and detailed. A good speaker. I have a 7.1 system with 7 of these and a 10" Klipsch sub. My B&W home theater system was replaced by this system. If you are wondering how an all-ceiling home theater system sounds with these speakers, it's terrific. The in-ceiling setup is sleek, and I am not missing my old system. These speakers reflect Klipsch's deep experience with in-ceiling speakers. You know you are dealing with a quality product when you open the box. It's easy to install and it's virtually invisible. The sound is crisp, detailed and nuanced. Yes, it is expensive. It is worth it. It was recommended.

👤The sound quality is very good, I got 2 of these. I put them in the ceiling for music while I worked. I placed the L and R speakers 4 ft apart because they are close to my head. That gives good stereo separation. The sound is better than I expected. I have a 50W class D amplifier. A clean sound. The bass is adequate for use. The covers are thin, light metal and snap in place over the speaker using magnets. I bent one of the covers when I was removing the packaging. I was able to get it straightened out, but I can still see a small flaw. When unpacking and installing, be careful with these. It looks nice in the ceiling and is a beautiful product.

👤I installed 4 of them for the Atmos 5.1.4 configuration and they sound great. The 3D sound effect from atmos is enhanced by the direction of the tweeters.

👤I had Boston Acoustic ceiling speakers in my old house that were more expensive, but I never liked the sound. I didn't have high expectations for the speakers, but I was impressed once they were installed. I have installed them in the ceiling of my bar, and Martin Denny has never sounded better. I added an in-ceiling sub for a full sound, but it's not necessary if you just listen to music and not use them for background sound. I would buy again.

👤These are great. I don't find them to be an eye-catching feature, they can get loud, and the bezel is almost completely absent. If you want to make music, you should have a sub that produces some bass. The size, look, and quality are great. Installation is easy. You are good to go if you leave yourself some extra wire. The holes can be cut to an error of about a quarter inch, so you just need to do your best and you will be fine.

👤These blew the Polk out of the water when I put them next to the top-of-the-line speakers.

👤I've enjoyed higher-end audio equipment for a long time and I've been amazed at the sound quality going up while prices seem to slide slowly. I was skeptical about these speakers. Ceiling speakers were something I seriously considered when I decided to make a holiday project of getting my audio gear humming again. I pulled the Trigger a few weeks into the planning. I couldn't be happier with the costs and considerations. It's perfect for my 12 x15 room.

10. Polk Audio PSW10 Powered Subwoofer

Polk Audio PSW10 Powered Subwoofer

A power hungry vehicle. For extra bass and punch, a 10-inch Dynamic Balance woofer and a directed port provide accurate bass with added depth. A perfect solution for a small room. Even at low frequencies, the sound is rich and deep, even at high volume. The speaker plays the most demanding nodes without any distortion. The power to 100 Watts of Dynamic Power can be doubled with the in-built 50- watt amplifier. This sub is highly durable and fit for use. It is easy to integrate with existing systems. Variable 80-160 Hz and 40-160 Hz frequencies. A sleek grille on the front, speaker and line-level inputs, as well as speaker-level outputs on the back, make this sub cohesive and complete!

Brand: Polk Audio

👤The glowing reviews for the PSW10 came to me after I had gone through three smaller 8” subs. It was better than anything I had before, and it was every bit as good as they say. I was so impressed with the musical performance that I began budgeting for something even better. The PSW10 cost 5x more than the SVS SB12-NSD, but many forums claimed it was light years ahead of it. I found the claims to be exaggerated after breaking in my new SVS. It could reach down to a bone-rattling 15hertz, which I like, but may not be everyone's cup of tea. For every other attribute, the PSW10 was 80% the quality of the SVS. I had to replay a bunch of songs side by side with both subs and assign a 10% more tightness to the SVS. Maybe some people consider that last 10% improvement night and day, but I just call it 10%, as in only really noticeable when compared side to side. I agree with many other reviewers that the PSW10 is perfect. Nothing can be done at its price point.

👤I had a Denon receiver and ordered 2 of these. I figured I might as well try it. I read an article on an A/V forum that said that 2 lesser expensive woofers is better in a home theater than 1 single premium one, because it will fill the room better and matter less where you're sitting for how you hear the bass response. I am blown away. I have one on either side. They sound great with games, music and movies. Replacing my theater in a box sub sounds terrible. I watched the Dark Knight and it was crazy how much more powerful the guns, cars, and punches were with the better bass and music of the films. Weapons firing and explosions in games will shake the walls if you want them to. I'm sure a single one of these would be a huge upgrade over theater in a box subs, but with a pair, they really shine. Highly recommended.

👤I bought two of them because my Pro Sub 1000 died after 8 years. The purchase was based on the reviews. The receiver has two outputs. I decided to get two when I only had one. I was a bit underwhelmed at first. I was expecting a lot more bass, but it wasn't the case. It didn't have the same effect as my DT. I was expecting the cost of the DT to be under 200, but it is close to $500. After messing with the output of my speakers and receiver, I finally got a decent sound that I can live with. I have to keep the volumn on the subs to get the results I want. I only had to have half of it. I don't play music on my system, so I don't have a review of the sound quality. I'm glad I got two. There will be additional review after two days. I will now rate these as a 5 star after I realized that the lack of bass from these speakers was caused by an operator error. I didn't have the output to the sub turned up from minimal. Once I started cranking it up, I got more bass. Excellent. I can turn down the master volume on the speaker. The auto shutoff feature was malfunctioning. It wouldn't wake up on a signal return when it went into sleep mode. I didn't have a high enough output to the sub on my receiver. It works great after another issue was solved. Very happy with the purchase.

11. Acoustic Audio CS IC83 Ceiling Speaker

Acoustic Audio CS IC83 Ceiling Speaker

The ceiling speakers have a recommended power of 20-350 watt per speaker and a 40Hz-20 kHz Frequency Response. Brand: Acoustic Audio By Goldwood

👤It's not a discotheque. We just purchased a 1980's house with a 1980's stereo, cassette sound system and speakers throughout the ceilings and are simply bringing it up to todays technology. I bought a zone switch with an Amp, and a computer with a sound card, so we can listen to music. The search for good speakers was the hardest part. Wow! I wasn't expecting that kind of sound. I'll be returning the tower speakers I bought to replace the ones in the study because I was so impressed with the sound. The bass is very rich and deep and it really sounds amazing, it comes from the rest of the speakers in the house. The template was easy to use and the directions were a little more complicated, but it was worth the effort. Look for a good deal on two more.

👤I installed 4 of these speakers in the basement for a project that would provide zoned audio. I was looking for a cheap speaker. I don't know what's going on with this company, but these speakers are amazing for the money, and I'm blown away that they can produce them so cheaply and sell them for the price offered. It is ok to get a speaker at this price point, but not great. Not these. They give a big bang for the buck. The sound is balanced and the bass is deep. Did I mention they scream? Excellent efficiency here. I don't write reviews, but for me to be sitting on the bathroom floor of my basement in the middle of the night and writing a review really says something. I have owned speakers from many brands. I will not tell you that these are as good as those, but I can tell you that they are close, but for a lot less money. I would have roughed-in a few more. I will be buying a set for our bedroom. Installation was similar to other in-ceilings I have installed, but the brackets were a little more difficult to install. I would like to see a grill-removal tool included. I saved one from another set of speakers. I am in love with these things. They have only been installed for a few days. I will update this review if there is anything new. The company that manufactured and imported these did a great job. A diamond is in the rough. Buy them and you won't regret it. You can do worse things for more money.

👤The speaker label shows 1400 watt, which is not true, and the speaker's average sound is 350 watt, which is not true. I used them in my bathroom ceiling and bedroom with a volume control switch that I thought would help out, but it didn't.

👤They went out of their way to help us with a shipping mixup on our end and made sure that we were completely satisfied with the package. Thank you so much!

👤These work well as ceiling speakers. The grilles were painted with spray paint. I might try to put a baffle above them in the future, but they are currently suspended in ceiling tile.
