👤I had a hard time setting up the receiver because I only had one connection on the receiver and I had 2 digital audio connections. I did some research on TV arcs. I connected the tv to the cable. It's good. I disconnected the audio wires from the TV and connected them to the receiver, and everything worked great. The sound is great. It's odd that the volume starts from a negative number for no sound to a positive number for max volume. Who cares? Either way. It was easy to set up the speakers in the room once everything was connected. I tested it with a movie and it was great. My old stereo didn't sound good. I bought it 10 years ago. I would recommend it to everyone.
👤The receiver is advertised as a 7.2 receiver, which means it powers 6 speakers. After assembling my 6 speakers, I was surprised to find that two of them were not playing at all, because I had bought speaker brackets to mount them high. I wondered if I had to turn on a switch internally to turn on that port, yet when I got in the manual, it said only four speakers can be powered by this receiver. The manual says the receiver only powers 4 speakers. I am out extra money I paid to make a surround system because that is false advertising.
👤The Vsx60 elite receiver is not 4K past through, so I replaced it with a much better one. I agree with Sound and Vision that this receiver is great. Very happy!
👤I was very pleased with the stereo receiver. The sound is great, we have just a 3.1 setup with bookshelf, center and sub speakers.
👤I love this receiver, but I wish it had more power. The sound quality is decent for not having an amplification device. We always want more when we host a lot of parties.
👤I worked for a few days, then stopped working in the middle of a movie. After I unplugged it and plugged it back in, I switched it over to weird mode. It never worked because of everything that was tried to get it to work. The product was junk. I was glad I was able to return it for a Denon.
👤I have had a 7.1 system for over 15 years.
👤The transformer inside buzzes makes the receiver useless. It was very annoying.
👤Went into safty mode after the speaker check. All the systems are new. A boat anchor is now a thing. The boat anchor is $450.
👤It's facile, bonne qualité de son.
👤Calibration facile et Bon prix.
👤Ajustes home. Destaque para Zona B.
You can enjoy your favorite movies, TV shows and more in the comfort of your home with Cinematic Sound at Home. S Force PRO delivers virtual surround sound with only a 2 speaker setup. You can use your phone to stream music and use a Standby turn on the receiver. A multi function system includes a multi channel stereo setup, a radio tuner and a headphone jack. There are 4 stereo Rca audio inputs and 2 digital audio outputs. In the box is a microphone, remote control, batteries, and a wire antenna. Also, note: Installation Manual and User Guide can be found in the catalog. Also, note: Installation Manual and User Guide can be found in the catalog.
👤I never leave a bad review, but this receiver did not allow for the full experience of the game. If I plugged my TV into my XBOX One X, it would be capable of playing both video and gaming. The build quality is good, but the lack of AUX-in was disappointing. I picked up the Yamaha after returning the Sony. It's $50 cheaper, has tons of more features, and has an AUX-in feature that I've wanted for years, and it passes the tests of both Dolby Vision and HDR10 correctly. Pick up the Yamaha, you'll be happy you did.
👤I put together a simple 5.1 surround system in my small den based on a Yamaha amplifier that started to go a little weird - it would turn itself on and off, sometimes wouldn't allow volume control from a remote, and sometimes wouldn't have picture resolution dropped. The sound was pretty decent. I decided to swap out the amplifier for the Sony one. Wow, what a change! It was easy to set up and calibrate. The sound stage is very detailed. It makes my speakers sparkle with clarity and crispness. I'm not a snob and my ears can still see a huge improvement in movie watching at a cheaper price. You will like this amplifier.
👤Great inputs. Good power. 60hz pass through. The enhanced HDMI option can be enabled. Arc control. I like it. The surround left channel is dead. The receiver died not even two years after the event. I'm disappointed, and that's coming from a Sony fan. My last receiver was from Sony. This was brought down from 5 stars to 2 by me. I think I'm buying a Denon.
👤I have an old entertainment system with a center and surround set that I use this unit to drive. The unit sounds good even with questionable speakers. I listen to my music on my phone. I use it. I know that makes many people cringe. I used the automatic calibration to set this up. Mozart's 25th was put on by selected music surround. My wife could hear how much better this setup was. Everything was in balance. It had a rich sound and clear highs. The surround did not sound fake. It was like sitting in an orchestra pit. It sounded great to have DVDs and cable TV. I can't hear the voices. The Movie HD-Digit setting is clear and easy to understand. There is a night mode that makes it easier to understand voices. The unit works great out of the box. It is powerful enough for a small home office, and I have it set up there. If you want to annoy the neighbors, you might need a bigger unit. I am very pleased with this purchase, and I love it.
👤Sony got it right. The receiver has 4K and HDR pass-through. The inputs are 2.2 compliant. It is easy to set up. The power is at 145W per channel. It will expand to 5.1 soon if you hook it up to a couple BIC tower speakers and a Dayton Subwoofer. There is no rush because the Front Surround feature really makes 2.1 sound like real surround. I couldn't be more happy with my purchase because it's heavy and built like a tank so it should last. The seller was praised for ordering on Monday and being delivered on Wednesday.
5.1 digital surround sound is what the studio intended. The sub woofer has 165 Watts. Home theater speakers are certified by the THX. Satellites are 4 x 67 W. It can deliver a continuous 500 watt of power, with the ability to deliver a peak of 1,000 watt under certain circumstances. A flexible setup allows you to connect to six devices. You can instantly personalize your surround sound experience with the compact control console and wireless remote. The system needs to work with any device with a 3.5 millimeter jack, six channel direct, digital coaxial input or optical inputs. The signal to noise ratio is weighted.
👤Don't buy. These speakers are not returnable despite saying they are on Prime. I have a 30 day return window and Amazon won't take them back. I was referred to the manufacturer, but they have not responded yet. It should be clearly stated if an item is not returnable. I have not been able to have the return accepted because my speakers are not usable.
👤The speaker set was amazing. The first problem I experienced was three months ago. It stopped working completely and only two lights were visible on the physical control panel. It started working again after I unplugged it. The same thing happened again a few weeks ago. I have tried the same fix many times. After looking through their support site, forums, and searches, it appears that this is common with the product, and Logitech's response has been all over the board, mostly refusing to replace the units. I won't talk about the sound of the device since there is clearly an issue with the design. It's sad to see that there is a clear flaw in these products and that they are not backing them up. This is going to affect my opinion of the company in a negative way.
👤They are a good speaker sound system, but they last about 5 months so you can't return them. After that they start doing a crack and pop sound, you can reset them, but after a while they stop working all together. So my advice is to look somewhere else. This is a known issue but Logitech will not do anything about it so don't buy these. If you are having a reset loop issue, do not try. The speakers are LEMONS.
👤The product does not work. Sound does not play. I can't return it less than a week after buying it.
👤Amazon won't take it back because it's a black hole and they consider it hazardous. I did not get a response from them. Don't waste time or money.
👤I bought this two months ago. The sound quality was amazing. The right front speaker failed after 2 months because of connection problems. I could work around it. The left front speaker has stopped working and the center speaker has stopped working as well. This has been the worst $300.00 I have ever spent on an item, and as a hard working person I don't have the money to flush down the toilet on CRAP like this. Stay away from this. It's a rap.
👤The system is great for money. If not triple, performance rivals system double its price. I did a lot of research before buying it. The looks of the system are the only annoyance. The speakers look like PC desk top speakers, in which they are realistic. You need to get creative in having them work with the appearance of everything in the room, but that is a big deal. Sound and function are excellent. Would buy it again. Subwoofer is small and has a powerful bass that will shake your house if needed.
Enhanced realism and new features are available. You will think it's happening right above you when you hear the sound of a helicopter or rain. This 7.2 Ch stereo receiver is a must have for your new 4K Ultra HD TV. It features HLG, HDR10, Wide Color Gamut, and 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling, and it gives you exceptional clarity and color. You can extend the reach of your music to any room in the house with HEOS multi-room wireless speakers. Extra hardware is not required. You can get hi-fi sound around your home with a variety of services. With AMAZON ALEXA, you can enjoy music without having to reach for the remote. Change the track, adjust the volume, or switch the inputs hands-free. An award-winning on-screen setup assistant will walk you through simple instructions to connect your TV and help you maximize your surround sound. Denon's legacy and Japanese precision technology makes it a must-have. All of the HDMI ports are compatible with the earlier versions of HDCP. HDCP 2.2 will work perfectly on your devices. The Audyssey Suite is a system that measures and adjusts speakers in your home theater for all listening levels. No muffled dialogues or sudden blasts anymore.
👤I hope this is the last update. The unit returned after not being fixed. Problem got worse. I wanted a replacement. I gave this after I shipped the faulty unit back. They gave me a refurbished unit that had a single year warranty. I wanted this. I finally have a unit that works two months after the start of the warranty issue. This is a six-month update. The unit is being repaired. Couldn't get to Denon. They don't respond to e-mail and they don't answer the phone. I am thankful that I found Panurgy. I want to change the title of the post to "inferior product". Don't waste your money on this company. The Denon of old is no longer there. I'm. A Denon owner for over a decade. The product is superb. It's easy to set it up, it's much easier to use than my older model. Customer Service should not be tried: they have outsourced it to the Pacific Rim. There are two No one answers their Customer Service questions. You might hear within 3 days if you take the option to call back. You have to use the 2 antennas for best use on this model. Something inside broke when I was rotating mine for the first time. It's a part that screws on. I was told that I had to contact my internet service provider for a new antenna. I gave her the part number, but she didn't know the AVR had two of them. Denon's Customer Service has been driven from World Class to (???)... I don't know what to call it.
👤I had it for 4 months. One day, I woke up to an update error. The unit was bricked. I would think that a new one would be sent out and the old one would be returned. Nope. You wait for it to be repaired and send it off. I won't buy another denon product.
👤Since purchasing this product, we have had trouble. Customer service is so bad that it is almost impossible to fix something when it works. If you pay a fee to ship it to them, they will fix it. Another issue will arise when they send it back. You can save money and time by looking for a better product.
👤The reviews here are of mixed unit model numbers and even some refurbished items. The s750H is great. Top notch. For over 30 years, I have been a big audio and home theatre user. I wish it had a back-lit remote. We are coming from a 6 year old Yamaha that has full HD and this Denon unit that is hands down the biggest upgrade in every single area. I'm completely satisfied and amazed. "Be careful when reading the reviews of the model numbers." The 750 is solid and has a lot of features. You can't go wrong with the new 48g cables.
👤The device doesn't turn on after 7 months. I have to pay for the entire repair shipment. It costs 50% of the total cost to ship it. This is ridiculous. The device was handled with care. Will not recommend it.
The over ear pads are soft and lightweight and are ideal for watching movies, Binging TV, and playing video games. The auto on:off and smart pause feature never misses a beat, it plays your music faster than any other headphones. Loud noise cancellation and transparent hearing can be found in the Momentum 3 wireless. The headband and soft ear pads are made from genuine leather. The three button interface is easy to use. Setting up a wireless device on the first activation is easy.
👤I own both the Sony WH-1000XM3 and the Momentum 3. I am using a Macbook Pro and a Tidal Hifi. It is definitely an upgrade from the Sony. The stage and sound are better. The phone app has an option to tune the bass in the way you want. When I use my Macbook pro, I noticed a cracking sound. Every song has it pop for a few seconds. There was no issue with my phone. Both GS10 and MBP use the same software. Very disappointing. It can block some noise. But not able to block the noise from the server. The Sony won by a long way. The material is premium. It's about the right amount to keep it on my head. Heavier than Sony but not enough to bother me. I still give Sony a slight win. The Sony folds flat, but it does not. The carrying case is larger than Sony's. The case isn't hard enough to protect the headphones. You can't hang it around the neck because it doesn't fold flat. Sony was present. At the same time, connect 2 devices. Sony can only do 1 at a time. When you take off your headphones, I like the idea of the auto pause. I like buttons more than ear cups. I bought the headphones to replace my Sony. I think I can only use it in the office. It's difficult to carry around and noise cancelling is useless. I will choose the Sony if I can only keep one pair. A pair of sound quality focus headphones for $400 doesn't have the support of the APTX-HD. Come on!
👤A review that represents my search for a high quality over the ear headphones. There is no single item that is perfect for everyone and no single item that works for everyone. I have wireless earbuds for working out, and the Jaybird Vista wireless for long term use when I'm working during the day. I have a pair of Sony over the ear headphones that I use when working outdoors. I didn't want absolute noise cancellation for the loudest environments. I was looking for sound isolation and blue tooth sync. The need for async to more than one device was a relative need. I looked at the Bose and the Sony. I like the looks. They appeal to my industrial design concept that sleek and modern isn't always the best. The traditional headphones have exposed steel and wires. The style will survive time. The modernistic approach may appear dated in several years, but Bose and Sony are more streamlined. I am not a fan of touch control configurations. There is no better way to increase volume than with a physical button. The Jaybird wireless earbuds give feedback with control. I like buttons that I can feel and confirm. The battery life is not the longest. I tied it for 19 hours. That is more than enough. I plug in every source I can find, and it charges from all of them. It's possible to use a wireless communication device, like a phone or a computer, called a wireless communication device. There is no video to audio lag. The sound is simultaneous when watching speaker audio and headsets. You can watch these with a TV and blue tooth stream. Make sure that your transmitter has the most recent support. It will announce simultaneous connections to up to two sources when you turn on the headphones. The reviewer was upset that the announcer only identified them as "phone one" or "phone two". I don't think this is an issue. I have a TV and a cell phone. I can walk down a flight of stairs and go at least 30 feet without an issue if I measure the blue tooth distance. The pause when you tilt your head is annoying. It kept thinking that I was trying to stop. I turned it off in the app. The app is not the best. It took 20 minutes to update the app after it was installed. The only way I could sync was to unpair the phone's wireless signal, uninstall the app, and re-sync. Everything was okay after that. Even if the phone is not connected to the headsets, the app settings are still maintained in the headset. The neutral setting or default give great sound, even though the control is not intuitive. You don't need your phone to keep the settings because they are stored in the headset. The ANC is not the best, but it is not intrusive. It's great for office work and background noise. These will work if you don't need absolute total isolation from a jet airplane. The ANC. There is some isolation from the earphones. The sound is wonderful with ANC off. It was clear, special, and dynamic. It beats the Sony with ANC off. The Sony had a muffled bass boost. I think volume is louder than the Sony or Bose. The Sony seems to be lighter and easier to wear than Bose. I don't like the Bose fit. When I got them out of the box, they were a little tighter. It is easy to fix with some manual "unbending" of the band. They feel better than the Bose because of the weight. The Sony's are all plastic. The first pair I purchased had a "white noise" feedback in the left ear. I wore them intermittently but then stopped. There was a sound in the left ear. As if there was a problem. The new set was perfect after I returned them. It is easy to return an Amazon item. The app is not easy to set up. You need to install it, connect and get the firmware. I had to uninstall the paring and app to make it work again. All is good now. The headband was a bit tight at first. It needed some tweaking. The Sony weight, the sound and appearance, the Bose quality, and the ease of support would be ideal. There are always slight compromises since there is no single perfect headphones. If you want a great sound, good range, good battery and classic styling, go no further. They won't fold into a slim aerodynamic sandwich, but they give crystal clear sound and perfect video lip sync, and can be worn for hours. I returned the headphones due to a never ending problem with the bluetooth connections. After 20 minutes of use, the bluetooth would drop. The only way to get back in touch was to either turn the ANC off or turn the headphones off. I removed all the devices from my phone and reinstalled the app, but the problem persisted, so I called Sennheiser and did a complete removal of the devices. It would drop the signal about every 10 minutes after it happened. I removed all of the connections that were connected to the internet. The headphones should be returned because they are not acting correctly. The first set had a faulty speaker. The second set had a problem. Maybe it was bad luck. I liked the sound, the weight, and the appearance. I am left disappointed in the quality of the device. They are great if you get a working model.
160 watt per channel. 4K/60p and HLG are supported. 5.1.2-ch audio and video. The Virtual:X and the Height Virtualizer are from the same company. The AccuReflex and AccuEQ have subwoofers.
👤When the PS4 Pro is connected to the TV, the option for 4K RGB is disabled, as you can see in the picture, and the frequencies for HDR are not the max, but when the PS4 Pro is connected directly to the TV. Check the message that says to check the TV settings. If you are going to use it for games, get something else. When I try a game, I get a warning that the game will play at 2K, but I don't see it because the TV isn't the receiver.
👤I have a set up in my home theater that is awesome. 2 front speakers, 2 ceiling pivot speakers, 2 rear surround speakers, 1 center channel, and 1 subwoofer are all expected to be upgraded soon. I've seen a lot of people flaunt their 2 and 3 thousand dollar setup but this receiver does exactly what it is intended to do and I have been buying Onkyo products for years and have not been disappointed yet. It can drive my speakers without being loud, and it can reproduce the sound of the movies in Dolby Atmos. My only regret is that I didn't get a 7. A receiver. I wanted to add 2 more speakers to the theater seating area. Maybe upgrade later. This is a great buy for anyone who wants a good Atmos setup in their home.
👤I had a 13 year old boy. I thought it would be a great upgrade since it supports all of the new sound formats. I was very excited when I got this. The result was disappointing. The sound was flat. The voice was muffled. I re-ran the setup again and the same thing happened. The Audyssey used on my old Onkyo is called AccurEQ. There was a manual setting on my old Onkyo, but it was not possible on this new one. Each time I ran the setup, there was a different one. It has a lot of bells and whistles, but I didn't like the lack of sound quality. I ended up spending over 2x as much as I would have spent on a Yamaha, but I'm very happy with the speaker calibration and the various profiles it offer out of the box, and there's also a graphical manual EQ. I didn't like this receiver. I wasn't happy with the sound quality.
👤Unless you have a lot of devices, this is all you need. I replaced an older unit with this one. The older unit had all the inputs that were never put to use. This is perfect for 4 devices. The sound quality from this unit is perfect once you start using it. It's better than the best movie theaters. The sound quality of the audio is not as good as it could be. The sound is the same as you get from the high end Onkyo units, even though it has the same 32 bit sound processor. I only use it for the two gaming consoles. I don't play music in the house. If you are looking for a high quality home theater sound system that is only going to be used as a home theater system with 4 or 5 devices, this is it. If your TV can pass HD sound, you will be able to hook up 5, 6 or 7 devices to this, depending on your TV's inputs. It does work very well with 4K upscaling. The HDMI pass through works perfectly, but the features are not real. The problem is that the standard is too new and not standard, so there are device conflicts. This is a great unit for anyone who doesn't have a lot of audio devices. Who does now?
The bundle pack includes HD. The BONUS Y-Adapter has a Stereo and 2 NeeGo Plugs. You can move freely up to 150 feet through the walls and ceiling with the headphones. Sony Technology produces high fidelity sound and booming bass. The 40mm drivers are durable and give clear Warm Sound, Dynamic Music, and Crisp Dialogue. The over ear pads are soft and lightweight and are ideal for watching movies, Binging TV, and playing video games.
👤I believe the product I received was a fake, made to look like a genuine Sony product. Absolutely horrible signal to noise. The true signal was unintelligible even with maximum input. I was surprised to find a genuine Sony product. I returned the garbage the next day. The outer wrapping was very suspect.
👤The new ear cups, smaller headband, and charging station are great. My husband and I purchased these after he broke his Sony headphones. We use these for viewing television because they make every word clear and easy to understand. British shows.
👤I've been wearing headphones for 15 years. This is the first one that provides the sound from bass to treble and the loudness levels that allow me to hear the TV clearly even without hearing aids. That is the first. The range is the best I have ever had. I didn't even think about the noise cancellation until my wife left in the morning. I didn't hear a word as she left, but I realized she had already left. The noise cancellation must have worked because she was always heard in the past.
👤The supplied batteries wouldn't hold a charge for more than a minute after a 24 hour charge. They would work with the new replacements. I learned that the headphones' batteries are proprietary to Sony after reading the owners manual. They can't be replaced with off-the-shelf batteries. You need to buy them from Sony when you need to replace them. The model number of the headphones wouldn't show up on Sony's website when I tried to find a supplier. I don't believe that the 'Sony' batteries are the only ones that can be used in these headphones. Does anyone think they could find replacements for these after a year or two? Part of the reason I returned them was built-in obsolescence.
👤It was a gift for my Dad, so I don't know if sound quality is up to snuff. It was a gift for all of us, so he wouldn't have to have the tv so loud, because he is hard of hearing. It was easy to set up and he seems to be happy with them.
👤They can't be connected to the TV without an accessory. The sound quality was not good. The quality of the headphones seems to have gone down. We own an older pair from Sony that we ordered from Amazon. I was disappointed that these were not the same quality.
👤I had to buy a cord with two ends that were not supplied with the headphones. Not happy.
👤The headphones fit well. Sound cancellation is very good. I bought them to use on my tv, but the tiv has a problem. I plugged them into my PC to listen to music and watch movies. They work well. I can enjoy without being bothered by anyone else. Volume control is hard to feel, but I have the ability to do it. Thanks.
👤"Like New" is what I bought those headphones for. They promised to deliver me Feb 2 - 4. 1. I received them on January 31, 2022. 2. They function very well and look new. 3. The battery is over a year old and probably out of warranty, so I couldn't evaluate it. It is a brand of Sony. I'm looking forward to using them for a long time.
The closed back circumaural headphones have an excellent digital wireless audio transmission that can deliver a range up to 328 feet. Better speech intelligibility and clearer dialogues can be achieved with additional noise suppression mode. The mode is for increased dynamic range. Automatic and Manual Level Control are included in the multi-purpose transmitter, as well as Digital andAnalog Inputs. Not compatible with technology. Toggling between inputs is compatible with both analog and digital audio inputs. THD, the total Harmonic Distortion, is 0.5 % at 1 kHz. The two year warranty is from an authorized dealer. Also, note: Before using, check the User Manual in the technical specification. The power source is a battery.
👤I was diagnosed with 65% hearing loss five years ago. Identifying direction and identity of sounds is one of my major problems. Couldn't listen to the speech because it wasn't clear. I bought a $10k hearing aid transmitter to use with my high tech hearing aids and found that it didn't work to improve clarity and the transmission broke when I walked away from the tv. I had to sit in front of the tv. I received these things today. It took me 1/2 hour to set up the headphones. It is easy to load the batteries. The headphones are comfortable. The volume and on/off buttons are easy to find. You can change your hearing experience with all of the hearing modes. I can hear through the upstairs and downstairs walls. I will keep testing the outside line of sight distance. When standing in front of a microwave, there is a small break in transmission. I recommend these headphones to make a short story. I can hear tv with these headphones. I'm thankful that tools like this are available to help the hearing impaired as well as to provide a more enjoyable hearing experience for those who hear well.
👤I went to Amazon to find out that they had stopped selling them. The sound and comfort of those 180s were great, but the volume controls were hard to use. I assumed the redesign would solve the problem. The new controls on the phones are easy to distinguish. The ear cushions on the 195 model are much easier to twist off for battery replacement than they were on the 180s. However. I find the overall sound to be a significant downgrade. tinny, compressed, not nearly as rich as full spectrum, somehow. This model offers multiple listening modes, some of which seem to cut out certain frequencies and suppress background noise with the intent of making dialogue clearer. The extra sound is cut out so that there is no inevitable masking of dialogue. The quality of what remains is thin. I tried all of the modes and found that the music mode sounds the best, but it doesn't compare to my previous model. If you have trouble hearing and are looking for a phone that will allow you to speak louder, these may be able to help you. If you don't have a hearing problem and are looking for headphones that will give you rich, balanced sound, you may be disappointed in these. The replacement of my earlier model's velour cushions with leather is less comfortable to me. The phones are larger on and off the charging stand, and they don't slip on and off the stand as easily as the 180s did. I'll play with these more tomorrow, and update my review if my second impressions are more favorable than the first. Despite the control design improvement, I don't like these as much as my 180s. I'll be returning these unless I find a way to sound better tomorrow. The sound quality isn't worth the upgrade in comfort and charging convenience, and the improvements in control placement aren't enough to make up for these minuses. I went to eBay to find a new set of the discontinued 180s, since I think they'll be harder to find from this point on. I hope that Sennheiser doesn't give up on its very comfortable velour ear cushions, which I've enjoyed in many of their professional monitoring headphones over the years. I'm a long-time customer of Sennheiser and will try more of their products despite my less-than-enthusiastic feelings about the headphones.
The ultimate wireless TV watching set has a Class 1 transmitter and two headphones. The provided optical, AUX, and RCA input cables make it compatible with any smart or non-smart TV's audio output jack. The dual link allows audio to be played through both pairs of headphones simultaneously. If only one person is watching TV, the headphones can function on their own. You can join your partner or friend at any time without interruption. The D4169 allows you to adjust the volume level of your headphones on your own. Individuals with hearing loss can increase their volume levels without affecting their partners' TV experience. The setup is a snap because the headphones and transmitters are factory pre-paired. They will connect right away when you power on the transmitter and headphones. The in- ear headphones give up to 20 hours of playtime, while the over- ear headphones give up to 40 hours. The headphones are designed to provide all-day comfort. The built-in microphones in both headphones and the transmitter can be used with other devices. You can use either of the headphones to make a call, listen to music, or watch a sporting event when connected to a mobile phone or laptop.
👤They feel good on their ears. The sounds don't reach that far. It could be 30 feet. They were supposed to come with Ear Headphones, but they were not in the box. They could be stored in the box. It was empty. This was a huge rip off. There is a spot for them in the Ear Headphones, but it was empty. Up-date. The seller sent me a free in- ear headphones. I like to use the head phones. They sound good. They don't have a good range. If you are staying in the same room as your Tv, you will like these.
👤I used the supplied optical cable to connect the device to the tv. I have not been able to use my headphones with my device. The earbuds were not very good with sound. The biggest concern was that the device uses the same frequencies as the smart TV and that they would compete for the same frequencies. Movies would buffer when the device was turned on or when the headphones popped.
👤My hard of hearing wife loves this set of headphones. The Earbuds are great, but the Headphone Set is what the wife uses. The included cables made the Hookup very easy, and the "Headache-Free Pairing" was easy. The wife commented that the headphones sounded better than the one year old brand she was using before. The old brand rhymes with a pony. The need for different hookups for a couple of more TV components led to the need for hooking up the headphones to the cable outlet on the TV. It worked out great for my wife, with better sounding and fitting headphones, and a quick and painless installation, because of the included fiber-optic cable. Thank you!
👤We couldn't hear our TV unless the vol was set to 26. I was sent to Amazon.com after doing some research on the internet for suggestions to hear the TV clearer. I read about the headphones. And, others! I wanted the whole ear to be covered, and my wife wanted the ear Whig type. We ordered them, received them, and set them up. I told my wife tonight that we should have done it years ago. With our new headphones, we can hear everything clear.
👤At 75 years old, I have a hard time hearing dialog on my TV so I bought the D-4169. The hook up was easy. The sound quality was very good.
👤I need something for TV. These are great, noise canceling, clear sound, long battery life, and comfortable to sleep with.
👤I had to have someone set it up because my tv doesn't have audio out, and the headset isn't a problem. I don't have my knowledge. The guy that set it up did it in less than 30 minutes.
👤I like to watch TV with the volume up. I purchased this. I don't disturb the neighbors when I watch late at night. I charge them every three days because it was easy to set up. I would recommend buying them.
The brilliantly realistic sound of Arc is featured in the new Sonos Arc. Control your TV with the remote, voice, or Apple AirPlay 2. Experience shows, movies, and games with the precise and immersive sound of Dolby Atmos. Enhanced Trueplay tuning technology improves the sound for the room's unique acoustics. When the TV is off, use the Apple AirPlay 2 or the Sonos app to stream music, radio, and more from your favorite services. Class 10 for Full HD video recording and playback is based on host device, file attributes, and other factors. Arc blends in beautifully, with its soft profile and seamless facade, it can be discreetly mounted to the wall or placed beneath the TV. Amazon's voice control is built right in so you can use it to play music, check news, set alarms, get your questions answered, and more.
👤I agree with consumers and pro critics that the sound of the Arc Atmos is great, but I won't go further than that. I had a pre-order in for my Arc soundbar and it sold out before it was released. The big question is whether it will work with your television or not. If you don't have an Arc connection on your TV, you will lose Atmos sound capability since it cannot be transmitted over an optical output. If your TV is from 2016 or earlier, it won't pass through an Atmos signal even from another source like an Apple TV. These are the most difficult years for your set to be from. Your TV must support both pass-throughs. The newer sets need the higher bandwidth eARC connection to support a native Atmos signal. The processing work of sending Atmos via Dolby Digital+ is done by your television, which is within the bandwidth spec of the Arc. If your TV supports it, it will process the incoming Apple TV signal and send it to Dolby Digital+. If you want to buy the Arc, you need to call tech support for your set and ask about native Atmos support. I received a reply from the company about my E7P, which supports both and works well with the Arc. There is never a question about whether you are getting Atmos sound or not because the Sonos app shows you what kind of signal is being transmitted. If your TV has an eARC, it's a good sign! Even if your set's internal speaker system isn't Atmos, you should be able to use other sources, like Apple TV, a 4K Blu-ray player, etc. The eArc and the Sonos Arc have the bandwidth to handle native Atmos/Dolby True HD signals, which will give you the very best sound quality. You can only get native Atmos from 4K discs, but not from any of the streaming services. Thanks for taking the time to read my review and I hope you find it helpful in making a buying decision. I try to answer questions in the comments section.
👤I've wanted to have a home theater system for a long time. I've been listening to movies for a long time. I did a lot of research before I decided on the Sonos Arc because of the high ratings and the fact that the sound engineer who listened to the Arc, Chris Jenkins, was very happy with the results. I should add that your TV needs to be new in order to work with Sonos Arc. I own a TU8000 which supports eArc connection. If your TV only has Arc connection, it won't work the same as it would with eArc. In other words, the TV Arc and the eArc are related. What is the difference between Arc Connection and eArc Connection? Arc stands for Audio Return Channel. The name of the channel is eArc. That means it can handle more advanced audio formats and higher audio quality. If you don't have either Arc or eArc on your TV, they have an optical to HDMI adapter in the box. eArc on your TV is the best for audio, but you can get more than one option if your TV is older. Let's move on, the Sonos Arc sounds great on its own! I questioned if I really needed a speaker because it sounded good on its own. It has a lot of bass when it's playing music or watching a movie. The audio is clear. The voices are clear. The rear speakers arrived in the mail a few days after I ordered them. I connected them to the Arc and tested a few movies that support the new format. I am very happy with this setup. The sound is not as jumpy as other surround systems I've heard before. If a train passes and you hear it go from the front to the rear speakers, it is smooth. It does not just jump to the back speaker. It sounds like a high end movie theater. I love it! It sounds like Star Wars as well. The Pod racing scene from Star Wars episode 1 is a great place to start testing the sound of Atmos. It's not everyone's favorite film. I'm not saying that you should buy a new system, but the scene with the Atmos surround sound is a great way to test it out. You will be amazed. Some movies don't support Atmos. I was pleasantly surprised when I tested the audio from Harry Potter. You need to change from Atmos to other audio formats from your TV settings. There is no setting for it. Your TV will work. I turned off "Atmos" in the settings on my TU8000 and then switched it to Dolby Digital. The surround sound came on when I did this. The downside of not being supported is that it supports other formats. Even though Harry Potter was not in the movie, it still sounds great in digital. There are 2 options for voice commands. I've always had that in my home, and I chose to use it. It's easy to use Amazon Music. Songs with a lot of bass sound great. The bass is so good that I canceled my Subwoofer. I may change my mind later, but for now the bass on the Arc is so good that I don't really need the Subwoofer. I am very happy with my new home theater system. It offers better surround sound than home theater systems I've heard before. The setup is easy. It is easy to switch from Amazon Music to watching a movie or TV. The black blends nicely with my black TV stand. Highly recommended.
The Denon AVR-S540BT receiver delivers exceptional brightness and contrast, and supports HLG, HDR, and Wide Color Gamut for realistic display. Your favorite music is at Fingertips. Denon HEOS LINK can be used to create an integrated multi-room audio system with built-in wireless technology. It allows wireless music streaming from a number of providers. The easy on-screen set up assistant walks you through the steps to connect your TV, set up your surround sound and more. Four quick selection buttons on the front panel help you store your preferred audio settings for television, Blu-Ray, and more, and allows you to switch between them quickly. The Denon AV Receiver S540BT DELIVERS MULTI-DIMENSIONAL SURROUND SOUND is perfect for your home theater and entertainment system. You can control the AVR through your phone, or you can use the Denon 500 Series Remote App for your phone.
👤I don't know how this sounds, I ran into trouble setting it up, and Denon support told me they don't support anything, and I was on my own. I don't think this is a good product or a good idea and I wouldn't ever suggest to anyone that this is a good product or a good idea. Purchase a product that the company stands behind. Their online web product manual is worthless as well.
👤I had issues with this product from the beginning. The sound stops intermittently. The circuit breaker in the house has begun to trip. The product is out of warranty and we only owned it for 60 days. I tried to get it back or replaced, but no luck.
👤I now have a more powerful version of the Denon in my bedroom and a less powerful version in my living room. The DENON is a great home theater system. Denon receivers are a total beast to set up manually. You can connect all speakers to the required ports and spend hours mining their stupid interface. Making all the speakers active is a lot of work and I wanted to throw the Denon receiver away. DENON systems are built to be very frustrating and on the verge of being torture to set up. Denon would be avoided until their engineers made the set up of speakers easier. All they have to do is put a selection that says "all connected speakers active, yes or no" You can set the particulars of each speaker for your own liking. Denon uses a confusing menu and sub-menu system that is torturous to use and understand. The Denon system is bad when people are made active. The Denon receivers are a great system that should be scrapped because of the poorly implemented system management interface. The Denon three stars are due to the fact that the speaker set up is mind-blowing. The Denon seems to have been made by the best engineers and then handed over to the worse interface programmers. The Denon Set Up Interface developers ruin what is otherwise a first class receiver at every price point. I live in a small home and I don't want my neighbors to wake me up. I want to play my video games, have fun with my DVD's, and watch streaming services. The Denon AVR-S540BT Home Theatre is a good fit for my needs. I brought a Sony 85 inch 4K TV. The Denon AVR-S540BT Home Theatre can fully exploit the 4K display technology of my new system, so I wanted a receiver that could do that. The Denon AVR-S540BT Home Theatre can get a bit loud, but it is not a ghetto blaster. The sound doesn't distort at higher levels. Quality speakers, speaker wire, and HDMI connections are recommended for this unit since cheaper ones degrade the video performance. The purple noise on the edges of the screen that is not present when better HDMI connections are used is caused by cheap HDMI connections. I'm not saying use the gold plated $99 dollar HDMI connectors as that's useless overkill. Don't use the cheapest HDMI connections that are so thin that noise can get into the cable. If you are in a large building with lots of commercial lighting sources and elevators, you need to have HDMI cables that protect you from RF noise. The antenna is adequate for most uses. The Denon Home Theatre is easy to install. Banana Plugs are not needed to connect speakers. Straight forward button actuated speaker wire grab connections are used for speaker connections. There are no complicated connections. The Denon AVR-S540BT Home Theatre is easy to use. The Denon AVR-S540BT Home Theatre is a basic 5.2 unit and there are few options. The dedicated sub woofer circuits are not the best in this unit. It is easy to use, and you don't need to read the instructions for the basic Denon AVR-S540BT Home Theatre functions. The control interface on the Denon Home Theatre is clean. The Denon AVR-S540BT Home Theatre is an entry level model.
