A power hungry vehicle. For extra bass and punch, a 10-inch Dynamic Balance woofer and a directed port provide accurate bass with added depth. A perfect solution for a small room. Even at low frequencies, the sound is rich and deep, even at high volume. The speaker plays the most demanding nodes without any distortion. The power to 100 Watts of Dynamic Power can be doubled with the in-built 50- watt amplifier. This sub is highly durable and fit for use. It is easy to integrate with existing systems. Variable 80-160 Hz and 40-160 Hz frequencies. A sleek grille on the front, speaker and line-level inputs, as well as speaker-level outputs on the back, make this sub cohesive and complete!
👤The glowing reviews for the PSW10 came to me after I had gone through three smaller 8” subs. It was better than anything I had before, and it was every bit as good as they say. I was so impressed with the musical performance that I began budgeting for something even better. The PSW10 cost 5x more than the SVS SB12-NSD, but many forums claimed it was light years ahead of it. I found the claims to be exaggerated after breaking in my new SVS. It could reach down to a bone-rattling 15hertz, which I like, but may not be everyone's cup of tea. For every other attribute, the PSW10 was 80% the quality of the SVS. I had to replay a bunch of songs side by side with both subs and assign a 10% more tightness to the SVS. Maybe some people consider that last 10% improvement night and day, but I just call it 10%, as in only really noticeable when compared side to side. I agree with many other reviewers that the PSW10 is perfect. Nothing can be done at its price point.
👤I had a Denon receiver and ordered 2 of these. I figured I might as well try it. I read an article on an A/V forum that said that 2 lesser expensive woofers is better in a home theater than 1 single premium one, because it will fill the room better and matter less where you're sitting for how you hear the bass response. I am blown away. I have one on either side. They sound great with games, music and movies. Replacing my theater in a box sub sounds terrible. I watched the Dark Knight and it was crazy how much more powerful the guns, cars, and punches were with the better bass and music of the films. Weapons firing and explosions in games will shake the walls if you want them to. I'm sure a single one of these would be a huge upgrade over theater in a box subs, but with a pair, they really shine. Highly recommended.
👤I bought two of them because my Pro Sub 1000 died after 8 years. The purchase was based on the reviews. The receiver has two outputs. I decided to get two when I only had one. I was a bit underwhelmed at first. I was expecting a lot more bass, but it wasn't the case. It didn't have the same effect as my DT. I was expecting the cost of the DT to be under 200, but it is close to $500. After messing with the output of my speakers and receiver, I finally got a decent sound that I can live with. I have to keep the volumn on the subs to get the results I want. I only had to have half of it. I don't play music on my system, so I don't have a review of the sound quality. I'm glad I got two. There will be additional review after two days. I will now rate these as a 5 star after I realized that the lack of bass from these speakers was caused by an operator error. I didn't have the output to the sub turned up from minimal. Once I started cranking it up, I got more bass. Excellent. I can turn down the master volume on the speaker. The auto shutoff feature was malfunctioning. It wouldn't wake up on a signal return when it went into sleep mode. I didn't have a high enough output to the sub on my receiver. It works great after another issue was solved. Very happy with the purchase.
It allows for bass extension with fewer wires. The 5.8 GHz digital wireless subwoofer kit is a great way to bring the bass to any space without having to run cable. Zero delay time includes an upgraded chip set to ensure reliability and an instant transmission. The 5.8 GHz signal is more reliable and less crowded for steady bass sound up to 150 feet. Use anywhere there is an electrical outlet. You can place your subs where they sound best. The compact footprint and the ability to hide through cabinets and walls make it easy to hide.
👤I have had a surround sound system set up for a long time and used wireless for my subs and it has worked great. A recent rearranging of things made it impossible for me to run a wire for my rear surround speakers. I needed a new wireless setup that could handle my surround speakers, because my current setup was only for my sub. The unit looked perfect. It's 100' line of sight range and 34 available channels of the internet drew me to it. The installation would be 25' with line of sight. It was a nightmare. The setup was easy and the units look great. The indicators are clear and understandable, but I couldn't get a channel that wasn't interfered with. To change channels and avoid interference, the instructions say to press the M button on both devices at the same time. You wait 20 seconds or so for the devices to link up again and then you use the speaker setup to listen for the signal. We could never find a 'channel' that didn't pop/breakup/fadeout/dropout within mere seconds after roping in members of my family. The device doesn't give an indication of what channel you are using. Does the procedure of pressing the M button on both devices mean you have to go through 34 channels in order? We pressed the buttons multiple times with two people 25' apart, but never found a channel that worked. I sent an email to OSD asking how the channel changing worked and if they could help avoid interference. There was no response over a week later. Hugely disappointing. I don't think my house is very challenging for interference. We are in a detached family home with a single 2.4ghz access point. We have some overlap from our two closest neighbors, but it's nothing compared to what you'd see in a condo or apartment. I'm returning it because I can't recommend it.
👤Once you are able to install it, this is a great product. The key for me was to place the transmitter and receiver close to each other. The manual says to press the channel button on the back. They can be moved away from each other once they communicate. There were no complaints after the installation.
👤I decided to give this product a try after reading other people's reviews. The return process was started the same day. The signal is intermittent out of a five minute period, and I think I got less than 40 seconds of sound output from the sub. I have been using a wireless receiver for my rear surround speakers for two years and have never had a problem, even though I had to turn it off. This is definitely not the setup I was looking for. I'm using a 5-channel receiver if it's for something. I tried to locate the receiver closer, but couldn't.
👤There's a significant audio delay which drives me insane. There needs to be enough gain to cause this thing to send. I've got my gain as high as I can on my receiver, and it still only plays the big bass moments in movies, at a significant delay. The movie experience is ruined by some of the other scenes that have small bass. It works okay for music at high volumes, but still has a big delay. If you had no other option, you wouldn't recommend.

👤The review is now edited. The sound bar has stopped working. I have had another Vizio soundbar for many years, but I am not an audio engineer. I retired that to see what a newer generation sound bar was like. I was happy to use the inputs on the sound bar and try out the new features on my XBox. Installation is quick like my last one. I don't have to refer to the manual. The way in which the box is aligned makes sense and it's nicely labelled. I was amazed at how small everything is. The viewing section at the bottom of my television was blocked by my older Vizio soundbar. I have an air-gap between the TV and the soundbar. My daughter called the speakers cute because they are so small. The last one was a small one. The sound of the older Vizio soundbar is startling. It is clear to us as we sit 8 feet away. I was picking up on sounds I didn't know existed while playing our XBox. It's like the previous soundbar was muffled, as if a blanket was over it, if I were to describe it plainly. The sound came through so clear after the blanket was removed. The manual doesn't explain why there is an internet connection on the back of the unit or how to use it. I know it has Smartcast by language on the box, but my point is that the manual speaks nothing about it. It's almost like they forgot to include a chapter. I tried to connect to the soundbar using my phone's app out of curiosity, I own a Vizio television with Smartcast. The sync between phone app and soundbar failed because it detected it. I don't need the app or the soundbar, so I will stop using them. I was sad to find out the connection on the soundbar is not 4k/UHD. I assumed this would work with my 4K television because everything seems to be different now. I used my FireTV last night to start a Grand Tour show in a high definition format. I was presented with an error-factoid that said my connection was not rated for high definition. I ran an optical cable to the soundbar after dropping my popcorn, and then I connected the television and the optical cable. The Grand Tour was back in 4K. I can't comment on the movie because it requires a HDMI connection. I still give it 4.5 stars, but it's up to 5 stars. It's small, cute and the sound is better than my previous one. We love it. I would love to be able to connect for 4K via the HDMI. That was a moment I will never forget. On 6th of May, the edit was done. It was purchased on April 24th and died on June 5th. We woke up this morning to find our soundbar dead between being turned off last night and this morning. There was no power. We walked through many steps after I contacted Amazon. Amazon decided to give me a refund because there were no replacements to be had. The soundbar is out of stock. I have to send the pieces back to Amazon with the label they provided. I have reduced my original review to a 1-star, but Amazon still gets 5-stars for their helpfulness. There are a lot of recent reviews of people suffering with this soundbar. Beware. Beware.
There are brackets for wall mounting. Adding more bass to your sound bar is a good idea. The bass of the Polk React Sound Bar will be enhanced by this precise, 7" long-throw wireless subwoofer. It disappears in the room and gives you a deeper bass. You can adjust the bass with your voice. The Polk Sound Bar can be controlled by Amazon. You can turn the bass up or down with a simple voice command. Polk's Bass Adjust technology automatically adjusts and balances the sound bar's EQ settings to accommodate the React Sub's additional bass and elevate the sound for virtually any movie, TV show, or song. The two-button setup makes it easy to integrate and set up with the existing react system. No hassles, no extra cables. Adding optional speakers will create a 5.1 channel setup and upgrade your home theater. Polk is one of the most trusted names in home audio, so you can sit back, relax, and listen with your heart.
👤The Polk Audio Sound Bar was not in my house for two days. The sound bar has to be connected to the internet. If you don't hook it up to the internet, it will keep making announcements. I don't use a voice assistant. I didn't want to have to listen to the sound bar tell me it was time to go to the internet, it really did that. When I called the Help Line from Amazon, the technician grew frustrated and suggested I return the Polk support that was not existing. The interface for the consumer had no idea that someone might not want to use it. Don't buy this item, it's really bad.
👤The polk magnifi 2 sound bar has a huge upgrade. The polk system from the rears has a loud surround sound. A complete home theater set up is highly recommended.
👤The surround speakers are disappointing. To hear them, I have to set the volume to max. I don't hear anything from them when I watch TV. The Polk surround speakers are silent, unlike my old Pioneer receiver and speakers which had great surround sound. They are great when listening to music and work well with movies. I would buy the Soundbar and skip the speakers if I had to do it again. Polk will fix this in a software update. I have tinkered with the settings on my TV, and I am aware that you get the most sound from the surround speakers if you turn down the voice volume setting and turn up the main volume.
👤I have had these for a while and at first I thought they were working. Nothing since the first day. I have tried to pair them again and again. If I could get these speakers to work, they might be good. I tried to contact Polk, but have not heard back. Not sure what to do. Please let me know if anyone has a suggestion, they are paperweights.
👤I own a polk magnifi and it sounds great, so I bought the rear speaker to complete 5.1 sound. I like the sound of my master bedroom a lot. I had to restart it almost every night after it failed to sync. Sometimes it didn't sync at all. I had high expectations when I returned. I own a top of the line phone, the hw-950a, but I never had sync issues. I wanted to try the speakers. This time didn't work for me, but overall polk is good.
👤I bought this as a used product. I expected it to work with some issues, but the sound bar wouldn't pair with the sub woofer. Is it possible that Amazon tested returned items before selling them? I contacted Polk Audio for help with the problem and they decided that it needed to be returned. Polk Audio customer service was very helpful. I will purchase a new product when it goes on sale again.
👤I was wrong to think that I would get the "WOW" factor. When watching movies, this sub kicks butt. I am very satisfied with the sound and quality of this sub, and I love that the case is made of plastic and not wood. Thank you!
The Klipsch reference theater pack has a minimal footprint. The cleanest, most natural sound can be achieved with Klipsch's exclusive Tractrix Horn technology. The wireless sub is designed to deliver room-filling low frequencies without requiring a lot of floor space. Each satellite speaker has a threaded insert and a keyhole mount, which make it easy to place the wireless subwoofer. The reference theater pack has a minimal footprint.
👤The purchase of this product was about 5 stars. Good product, good sound quality, arrived on time. There was a problem that turned into a nightmare. One of the simpler and inexpensive parts of the subwoofer is the rubber foot, which is one of the legs that should have it. It was inserted under pressure. Why is this important? Without the rubber feet on the sub, it will lose its stability and the leg will hit the floor, creating a noise that shouldn't be there. Klipsch customer service initially was excellent, and immediately sent a replacement. The replacement parts were wrong. They made sure they had the correct model. They double check to make sure everything was okay. The attendant went to another department to check out what went wrong and assured me that I will work this time. Wrong part arrives again. I sent pictures with arrows pointing the rubber foot and a schematic sketch so they could recognize the mysterious part. Klipsch said to go find this part on the secondary market. I can't return the product because of the time spent. The price was lowered to make it even better. Customer service from Klipsch was incompetent. If my friends decide to buy anything from Klipsch, I'll use the system with a piece of cardboard under the leg to repeat the story.
👤I am retired but I can't throw away money. We built our own home on our farm and all of it is paid for by God. I went to a store. I paid less for the speakers on Amazon than I did for the Klipsch ones. I bought my receiver from Amazon a year ago because of the tight finances. Got it paid for, bought some great sounding Klipsch speakers and love them. What a sound. I am going to put my QLED 70 series on my wall. Got it from NFM. A beautiful vent free fireplace is1-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-65561-6556 The setting is going to be beautiful. I want to have many romantic nights with my wife. God is in control of life. I went to Best Buy and the Geek Squad came to my house and said that it would cost a lot to install my speakers. I did it myself at 72 years old. The Stereo cabinet I put together is beautiful. I put the wheels under it because it will weigh 200 lbs. Almost solid wood. Thanks to Amazon, life is more affordable. The farmer is Joe.
👤The system came without a wireless accessory for the sub. The company that sold me the unit ignored me when I contacted them. If you would like to buy this system. Don't buy it here. I had a look at the Klipsch sub. It is a Onkyo sub in a box. Sending everything to klipsch on Monday.
👤I bought the speakers and receiver from thelipsch Black Reference Theater Pack 5.1. This is the best sound I have ever heard after I got it all set up. This system spits out perfect sound with everything I throw at it, from football games to television to different genres of music. I am playing my favorite songs and am hearing sounds I have never heard before. If you are going with 5.1 surround, I recommend this system. If I were to put a system in a larger room, I would have bought a 7.1 receiver and tried using the Klipsch as surround speakers, but now after listening to the Klipsch, I would go with the Klipsch.
The ultimate home theater upgrade has a 3.1ch engine. There are seven sound modes for enhanced movies, music, gaming, news and sport. Voice enhancement for clarity. The BLUETOOTH streaming has built-in wi-fi and is easy to use. High-resolution audio is possible. You can use your Amazon connected device to stream music, online radio, and podcasts. Just ask.
👤The version is called the TL;DR version. It's worth every penny. Buy the rear speakers as well. This is my favorite thing. You don't know what you're missing. People who love audio but aren't building dedicated theaters, people with reasonably-sized rooms and apartments, and people who love "that movie sound" are the best for. It's great for the everyday person who appreciates sound but doesn't want a complicated setup. Not best for large spaces, those who want huge amounts of volume, and those expecting tower-level performance out of a soundbar. I am Sony's perfect test mule, a home theater enthusiast, audio snob, and proud member of the "Soundbars are nonsense and your speakers should be wired" camp. I was going to jump on it when it popped up with all the buzzwords, but it runs 3.1. I'm a bit crazy as I seek out things to prove me wrong and learn. This could be my masterpiece, and boy was it. You will be hard-pressed to find much bang for your buck. You're still staring down a sound system that costs over $1300 with the rear channels, but "Little" is relative. Unless you're willing to go down the dark rabbit hole of dedicated theaters with the right speakers in the right places, you won't find a better experience. SETUP setup requires a few visits to the manual. I have a 4K TV that requires a few changes in settings, but the manual walks you through them. It's pretty plug-and-play. The "easy setup" wizards don't need to think about it when speakers pair themselves. It's stupid-simple. Love it. I wanted to make sure it could actually cast audio. I fired up the service on my phone and it was there. I chose a live recording to see what it could do and stopped doing anything for an hour. It's the most generic description I've ever heard. You're there. This is an experience that is not static. You feel like you are at the show when you listen to live recordings. It's beautiful, magical, and addictive. Which leads us to the next question, what does that mean for movies? I thought I should test that and see if it's good. Remember the line about the dog? There are fireworks in this demo. I can't think of a better example than the dog looking at the ceiling. If a dog is confused, they are doing something right. The speakers are so good that the level of immersion is amazing. They're so good at it that it makes me angry that they're doing an injustice to these things. Sound from TV to movies is easy to setup. Watching a few other TV shows and movies made the dog over at the speakers enjoy a saxophone and made everything come to life. It can be hard to balance if you're not into that kind of thing. This doesn't require any tuning on my part and it balances voices and sounds easily. God of War is in a video game mode. This should be the most amazing thing that Sony has to offer -- a Sony TV running a Sony game on a Sony PS4 through a Sony soundbar. I have played video games in a theater before, but this is the first time I have been able to hear sounds. I don't think it's the speakers' fault that some sounds fall flat. I think they aren't rendered with authentic sound and the speakers only replicate what they hear. The smaller sounds sound amazing. Sound effects are not as loud. I think it's harder to say 3.1 equates to 7.1.2. I think it's not the speakers fault. These seem to bend the laws of physics to create a sound that's more realistic and you need to pick up the rear channels. There is a noticeable difference between the rears and the fronts. The sound system doesn't shine without those rear channels. Don't get me wrong, it's still very good, but just throw in the extra money. I have a few gripes about this thing, but they wouldn't deter me from buying it. If you have a smart TV, you still need to keep two remotes. If you use the smart apps on your TV, you can't use the soundbar in a traditional format. It's not a big deal. Since I was old enough to use them, I probably have at least two remotes. I think Sony will change this in the future. It could use more power. It's perfect for my space and your mileage will vary with it. The room it's in has 16' ceilings and 20' x 30' walls. It provides a lot of punch and I think it's a good spot. If you want to fill something bigger, this may not be the system for you. Be honest with yourself, that's a pretty big room. A lot of people get caught up in the wattage game without asking themselves how often they have this thing cranking up to 11. When using a smart TV, it can be difficult to switch from one service to another. Sony could fix the software issues in time. It's a bit of an edge case and doesn't take away from the overall experience. I expected this system to be half marketing hype and it blew me away. It made me believe that sound engines can change the dynamic. It knocks it out of the park because it targets a specific buyer who really appreciates sound but doesn't want to spend a lot of money or time on it. I am grateful. I received it through the Amazon program. Let me know if you find it helpful.
The sound bar is packed with 7 powerful drivers and tweeters that produce a clear sound, more superior than any traditional sound bar. The sound bar will instantly recognize the unplugged speakers and whisperer when you power them on. The wall mountable speakers have a full range driver and the sub supports an 8” downward firing driver. Experience true 5.1 PoLK's patented sound technology creates an expansive surround stage and detailed stereo image delivering a room-filling listening experience, the same as what you would get in a concert or theater. Polk's exclusive Voice Adjust Technology lets you control voice levels in ways that maximize sound clarity and minimize voice delays. It has independent modifications for movies, music, and sports so that you can hear every word. There are three HDMI inputs, one HDMI-ARC output, an optical port for the set-top box, and an aux analog input. You can stream music from your phone, tablet, or other compatible device to a multi room system. You can now use services like Pandora and others to listen to your favorite music. Enjoy high quality sound instantly by connecting to a host of smart devices.
👤The definition of TERRIBLE is Polk support. There was no resolution. I have been promised a replacement for nearly two months. The potential for this product is there, but the performance so far is poor. The surround speakers make a most annoying sound. Tech support has not supported the problem. I wouldn't speak to these speakers until the problem is solved. I wish I'd found this information before I purchased it, as I have found on-line others complaining of the same issue. Don't buy this and don't buy Polly - Customer Service gets worse. It's sad to say.
👤It was bought on March 14th and is dead on July 9th. I tried optical, HDMI, and Bluetooth, but it kept restarting and wouldn't play sound from any source. I thought it was a nice sounding system, but who keeps boxes that big for more than a few weeks? Polk customer service will be reviewed. Polk Customer service is fantastic, absolutely no hassle, nothing to provide, and I had a replacement in less than 10 minutes. It was easy to hook up the new one. Hope this one lasts, it sounds like it was as good as the first one.
👤I wanted an excellent soundbar and it was exactly what I got. I was looking for a replacement for a traditional receiver and 5.1 speaker surround sound system, but I was worried that a soundbar wouldn't live up to my expectations. I'm not an audio engineer. I can't tell the difference between the Polk Left/Center/ Right speakers I had previously and this one. The surround sound is what I wanted, they need a power outlet each. And that's it. The way my room is configured I can't have the rear speakers wired to a single amplifier because there are other sound bars with separate rear channels. Other people have stated that the sub is very impressive. I was nervous about how it would sound, but I'm very happy. There was an update on 5-13. It was reduced to three stars. Sometimes we watch TV in the other room with a cheap soundbar that doesn't have these issues, because the crackling fire in the front speakers is so bad. When changing channels or going into the Comast menu, the soundbar will sometimes disengage from the audio source, and then it takes a few seconds to get back to playing sound. I will contact Polk to see what they have to say.
👤I bought a sound bar on Thanksgiving. It was a unit that I was interested in buying. It was too good to pass up. Within 40 minutes, I had the bar running. The only reason for it taking so long is through my Fire cube. A bar at this price range will get an additional 3 HDMI ports. There is a medium sized master bedroom. The power of the sub is quite noticeable. I'm in a house. I would let her rip. The ease of use is what makes me happy as a blind person. The setup and system update was done through the app. A total of 5 minutes. The only problem I had was learning the remote layout. I would like to see remote layout documentation in user guides. Customers who are blind would benefit from it. Polk customer service explained the buttons. All within a few minutes. I spoke to a gentleman who was very nice. There is a The sound bar is large enough to cover the full width of my television. Be prepared! The box is large. It was a challenge to open it. Very well packed. The bass, lows, and mid range are all great. Voice quality is clear. A good buy for a small to medium sized room. I'm considering the surround speakers, but I might make my neighbor angry. We'll see! There is a If you are considering this unit... I recommend it to you. I can discern tones with my sight. A very clean sound.
5.1 digital surround sound is what the studio intended. The sub woofer has 165 Watts. Home theater speakers are certified by the THX. Satellites are 4 x 67 W. It can deliver a continuous 500 watt of power, with the ability to deliver a peak of 1,000 watt under certain circumstances. A flexible setup allows you to connect to six devices. You can instantly personalize your surround sound experience with the compact control console and wireless remote. The system needs to work with any device with a 3.5 millimeter jack, six channel direct, digital coaxial input or optical inputs. The signal to noise ratio is weighted.
👤Don't buy. These speakers are not returnable despite saying they are on Prime. I have a 30 day return window and Amazon won't take them back. I was referred to the manufacturer, but they have not responded yet. It should be clearly stated if an item is not returnable. I have not been able to have the return accepted because my speakers are not usable.
👤The speaker set was amazing. The first problem I experienced was three months ago. It stopped working completely and only two lights were visible on the physical control panel. It started working again after I unplugged it. The same thing happened again a few weeks ago. I have tried the same fix many times. After looking through their support site, forums, and searches, it appears that this is common with the product, and Logitech's response has been all over the board, mostly refusing to replace the units. I won't talk about the sound of the device since there is clearly an issue with the design. It's sad to see that there is a clear flaw in these products and that they are not backing them up. This is going to affect my opinion of the company in a negative way.
👤They are a good speaker sound system, but they last about 5 months so you can't return them. After that they start doing a crack and pop sound, you can reset them, but after a while they stop working all together. So my advice is to look somewhere else. This is a known issue but Logitech will not do anything about it so don't buy these. If you are having a reset loop issue, do not try. The speakers are LEMONS.
👤The product does not work. Sound does not play. I can't return it less than a week after buying it.
👤Amazon won't take it back because it's a black hole and they consider it hazardous. I did not get a response from them. Don't waste time or money.
👤I bought this two months ago. The sound quality was amazing. The right front speaker failed after 2 months because of connection problems. I could work around it. The left front speaker has stopped working and the center speaker has stopped working as well. This has been the worst $300.00 I have ever spent on an item, and as a hard working person I don't have the money to flush down the toilet on CRAP like this. Stay away from this. It's a rap.
👤The system is great for money. If not triple, performance rivals system double its price. I did a lot of research before buying it. The looks of the system are the only annoyance. The speakers look like PC desk top speakers, in which they are realistic. You need to get creative in having them work with the appearance of everything in the room, but that is a big deal. Sound and function are excellent. Would buy it again. Subwoofer is small and has a powerful bass that will shake your house if needed.

👤I was surprised to see the label, but when I looked it up, it was clear that this is a kit sold by Costco.
👤I have been an audio head for as long as I can remember and I have always wanted a great set of speakers for my home entertainment system, but was discouraged by the price. I recently purchased a Denon 3700 receiver and was looking to purchase a new set of surround speakers that would work with the new feature of Dolby Atmos. I was shopping for speakers at a store and was overwhelmed by the prices. I did my shopping online. The fine print said it was not a matched set. Did not matter. All appearances match. The speakers work well together. The speakers on the front floor are clean. I was previously running Polk speakers. My wife, who does not like loud surround sound sounds, has been wanting to watch different movies since setting these up. Shoot em up, explosion type movies! Couldn't be happier. And for the price? It could not be better. I am here to tell you to order these now and you won't be discouraged because your ears have been waiting for relief. They are amazing! Too bad my neighbors don't agree with me. Ha! Cheers!
👤The price for good speakers is great. The floor tower speakers cost more than the entire set. They sound great. They make a nice sounding home theater system.
👤These speakers are amazing. The value you get as a package can't be beat. After setup, we are hearing music we have never heard before. The performance of the atmos is amazing. Sound doesn't come from a direction, but rather fills the air. When watching television or movies that are made in the USA, it is truly an expierience. The bass is amazing! It's powerful and deep. I had to dial down for my small playing area. If you are thinking of these speakers, stop thinking because they are the ones you need and will enjoy for a long time.
👤I'm surprised that this is not the same set. I thought maybe a mistake was made at first, but then I looked at the item pictures and realized that this set was sold differently than it was advertised. The speakers are black with a wood grain. The sub has a plastic surface. I have attached some pictures. Make sure this is what you want before you buy. I have faith in the world that these bad boys will sound awesome, but I was so disappointed by the mismatch that I wanted to share with others so they knew what they were getting into.
👤If you need a large speaker setup, these are some of the better looking ones, with the copper-spun elements. CLARITY is the strongest attribute. The speakers are silent if a part of the film is supposed to be silent. There have been a few times where I have figured out what someone is saying, due to the clarity of the speakers. The bass is somewhat underwhelming. I was hoping for a punch from the sub. I wanted a Steve Harris. This is a 5.1 system. The effect of the films mixed with Dolby Atmos is limited, and it is like you might not have it. Buying more surround speakers for a 7.1 set up would be better for me.
The country of origin is Vietnam. The package has dimensions of 9.92" L x 14.33" W x 6.06" H. The package weight is 7.0 lbs.
👤The sound level was very low at first, but if you research online you will find that there is a secret menu to adjust the different rear frequencies. Hold down the settings button until you get to the rear speakers. The screen will now say Rear Level and you can press the up button to increase the volume. The problem is when you first cycle through the sound selections of SOUND CONTROL after integrating the rear speakers into your sound bar, you will see a limited view of what you see after Audio sync is RE. The speakers work great after turning up all the rear frequencies.
👤The left and right speakers have their own power cables. Each speaker is connected to the soundbar. The speakers are not connected to each other and you can place them wherever you want. Some people say their speakers aren't loud enough, you can increase the rear speakers to +6 by pressing the settings button on the remote. The Tomorrow War starring Chris Pratt was amazing, as were the aliens running the surround sound system.
👤After my wife decided to make the den a nicer place, I was ordered to remove my Onkyo surround receiver, gigantic Klipsch floor standing speakers and massive 12” powered sub to make the room look better. I fought this change tooth and nail but eventually relented in the name of progress and modern living. I picked up the Q600a soundbar/Bluetooth sub combo because it is capable of playing Dolby Atmos. I wasn't thrilled after installing the system and immediately streaming something that was rated by Pime video. I decided to order the rear-channel speakers in order to round out the system because the simulation surround was not as good as what I had been hearing. I am so happy I did. The sound is brought to life by these little babies. I tinkered with the level settings in the soundbar and used the TV's EQ settings to dial in my preferences and WOW...what a difference these made. They compliment the rest of the system and complete it. Anything recorded in Dolby Atmos now sounds amazing and non-Atmos content is very impressive. The quality and power of the new system impressed me, and I am now completely satisfied. These are an essential addition if you're an amateur audio engineer who wants to downsize to a soundbar setup. You can make the room fill with rich sound. If you are only using a sub and a soundbar, you are doing it wrong.
👤The difference these small surround speakers make to the experience is incredible. The sound came from the sound bar below the TV. The sound goes all the way to the entire room after these speakers are added. It puts you in the middle of the experience. If you watch a movie with Dolby Atmos, it will blow you away. The best price is $150. It has had the biggest impact.
👤It definitely adds more depth to your device. It's very easy to sync with just a 120vac wire. There were no wires to the receiver or the speaker hub.
The sound bar is two inches tall and is out of sight until you hear the massive boom with the racetrack drivers and 1” tweeters. This slim, compact speaker fills your room with natural 3D surround sound and hi-res audio formats, making every movie you watch unforgettable. ExtraORDINARY VISUALS. You can get a cinematic experience on your 4K HD TV with the help of the HRD10 and Dolby Vision support, which will bring your songs and movies to life. The 8” subwoofer is included in the price of a home and it's deep, rumbling bass grabs your attention in every corner of the room. The sound is big and powerful. You can stream hi-res audio tracks from popular streaming services, such as Spotify, or simply connect to your digital library for wireless listening. Home automation systems like Control4 and Crestron allow you to control your home system and appliances with voice control. A 4.1 Channel Home Entertainment System includes a 4K HDMI Input, Optical In and Aux 1, plus a 4K HDMI out with eARC support and a USB Input, and you can connect your preferred audio, video source in minutes.
👤The sound bar can get loud. It's loud at 50% volume when playing the audio content. I'm afraid to put it past 75%. The room can be shook by the sub. I'm too scared to do it, but I guarantee that if you put the speakers at MAX, your eyeballs will vibrate out of your head. The kit should have a warning label. There are 3 dialogue clarity options. Low, med, high. You will be able to understand what's being said even if you push it loud. I didn't notice a drop in performance when using the dialogue options. It is easy to set up. You have to use the app. A physical remote is included in the app. You can adjust bass and treble in the app. There are 6 quick save macros. The remote is compatible with both IR and sleak. There are several buttons for changing input, power, and dialogue. The soundbar is compatible with your TV remote, so you can control volume with one remote. The app allows you to control volume on your phone. The visible dots on the front of the soundbar that light up or dim when changing settings is something I really like. Really enjoy that they did this. I researched other soundbars. I'm going to return the device that I was using. The sound quality of the bar alone is not as good as the beam. This product is very good and I would highly recommend it. Still performing spectacularly, 6 month update. It was used with anLG CX. After extensive testing, I can't tell if it was the TV or the sound bar, but I did have some audio issues using eArc. The issues have stopped after a few TV updates. The HEOS app only updates the soundbar, so make sure you open it once in a while. I suggest you reconsider if you believe atmos and 7.1 can't be done properly with a rinky soundbar. I've never experienced a $5000 audio set up, but I'm picky when it comes to quality electronics, and this gives intricate set ups a run for their money. For a fraction of the price, you can get a quality sound and stage.
👤Over the past year, I have been buying sound bars that are more expensive. I went through a store. 2 Sony's and finally this one. The wireless rears of Sony were amazing. When it worked. Both the sub and the rears list connection was not very frequent. The sound quality of the Definitive is better than the Sony. The sound of something is so small.
👤The sound quality is amazing, but I am not happy with the narrow stereo field. I have a q65 and it has a built in speakears that sound wider than the one on the soundbar. For this amount of money, I expected a wider stereo field. I will sit with it for a week. I will return it and get some speakers if it still doesn't sound wide.
